  • I find the Frames are actually better since the recent patch, however, the event combined with certain killers can cause dramatic frame drops. It can be annoying but I feel it is better than it was, I can actually chase without losing people due to frame issues all the time.

Honestly with Spirit I believe the “Father’s Glasses” add-on where she can see the blood during her phase walk should be in her base kit. You would have to be extremely good with her to always be able to follow a survivor perfectly, sometimes the scratch marks go all over the place.

The vision should be fixed during phase walking, scratch marks should be brighter, and blood should be visible during phase walking.

Really good spirits use the grass or footsteps to track people when phasing

True, and I agree she doesn't need to see blood while in spirit form, however, everything is helpful when looking for Survivors including Survivor breathing sounds and scratch marks. Using only a couple of things you can to track just makes you weaker overall. Also, footsteps are currently bugged and are extremely silent or not able to be heard at all.

Not all the time, but when he is running Sloppy Butcher I do. My game doesn't crash though.

    It makes stealth basically impossible.

It's a visual bug that only Survivors can see, AFAIK.

    Really?

That's good to know. I was worried Wraith could see my blood spewing everywhere lol.

  • Not all the time, but when he is running Sloppy Butcher I do. My game doesn't crash though.

    It makes stealth basically impossible.

  • I play both, kind of evenly, though I have also been playing Survivor more than Killer recently.

Mainly because I have anxiety/personal issues when it comes to playing alone against 4 other players and getting a little stressed because I over think things and get down on myself easily in this situation.

But when I go in just for fun I really enjoy it, and I'm starting to get more comfortable with screwing up and accepting that so long as I have fun it doesn't matter what the 4 survivors think.

  • The only form of "tunneling" I disagree with is when a Killer ignores every survivor except for one. They'll run by them, and not attack them, and just chase one Survivor and not attempt to down anyone but them.

Its important for Killers to get the first kill but you can do that without completely ignoring 3/4 of the Survivors and making the trial hell for one.

    @Nood said:
If a survivor can make unsafe unhooks, I know you can make a tunnel stat that doesn't reward full points, and hurts an emblem. It gives the killer a choice, a kill or points.

Why should a Killer be punished at all in this situation? You literally said "Unsafe" like, are you kidding that Survivors shouldn't be punished for unhooking in front of the Killer?

  • Why?

######### is everyone's obsession with Negan? He's popular due to a, at best, mediocre television show that lost any real respect, or competence, after AMC forced the original show creator off the show and slashed the budget during Season 2.

The original Negan, from the graphic novel, is basically a joke compared to the Governor, yet because the show completely screwed up the Governor's arc and the pacing of the entire series Negan is now seen as a great villain. It's sad.

Also, Negan wouldn't fit the game (######### would his power even be?).

Oh God Infinity Tombstone Myers with the thing that allows you to get it faster.
4 Instadown hatches/3 Instadown fast reload hatchets/3 Instadown Super windup hatchets
    6 Blink Nurse
No whooshing Spirit that is super fast and her lunge is massive
Clown's 6 instadown bottles that he reload super fast.

TL:DR yes it would take more add-ons/BP to make these things but wow it would be annoying to go against.

Obviously this is how the Killers were intended to be played.

ALWAYS, solo or swf, doesnt matter.
    My reasons are:
Most killers run hexes and/or noed
Most survivors dont give a damn about totems
Small game allows me to find totems way faster. The less time i spend in the match the higher the chances i got to survive.
And that little extra that helps you against the trapper and the hag, but looking for totems with the hag is a bit of a pain. Notifications everywhere!

That's good to hear. I'm still learning a lot about totem spawns and junk but I see people say that every just "memorize where the totems spawn" so I thought I was gimping myself with Small Game but I really like being able to find them quickly or keeping note of nearby totems while in chases or doing gens.

  • @Vietfox said:
Noed is annoying, but if it bothers you so much then do what i did: run small game, get rid of all 5 totems asap and do gens. I run small game either if i'm playing solo or with friends because almost all killers run hex perks and/or noed.
I think small game is a must also when playing solo since most survivors don't give a **** about totems.

You run Small Game sometimes? I thought I was the only one on the forums who did. lol

    Consequences

You become obsessed with one survivor

Each time your obsession throws down a pallet, or vaults a window while you are chasing him you gain 1 token up to a maximum of 2/4/6

each token will grants you a 2% bonus to vaulting windows and
    !
survivors get a 5% penalty to repairing generators
    !
Your obsession is not affected by the effects of consequences

Something here seems out of place.

    Hmm. What is it...

I see you MAYBE are trying to justify the use of NOED, just don't. Feel free to run any perk without being bothered by others opinions, they are game features meant to be used.

I run noed with about 3 killers or so, especially the slowest ones. Usually running noed on one shot killers is stupid, but i do use it on Leatherface. Not because of the exposed status, but because of the speed.

If survivors manage to complete the 5 gens you get the speed boost from noed, plus the speed from beasts marks addon and the speed from Play with your food (if you have it). Use the chainsaw with all that speed, you'll fly :dizzy:

Oh no I'm not justifying the use of NOED. I use what I want, and I don't really see a need to explain to anyone why I do. Even if people think it is a waste.

I was saying I use it on some Killers because its the only end game perk I get any use out of. Mainly for the speed increase. All the totems are usually destroyed way before the end of the trial though. lol :'(

I mainly only use it though when I play Full-Hex Spirit and it can be fun on the Hag. I only really use those two and the Clown and I have never, ever, felt a need or want to put it on the Clown lol.

    @GodDamn_Angela
Noed is a win win for the killer imo.

    They do? They didnt genrush

DWM is OP with Lithe and QaQ. And WoO is really good for new players.

Well yeah, I was mainly talking about them by themselves. I love the idea of DWM but I don't want to have to take up more than one slot just to make it really worth it when I could just avoid situations where it would activate and I would NEED it.

WoO IS good for new players, but I don't think that makes it an above average perk.

Is it? I don't think DS is broken, at all, but I don't think Adrenaline is either. It's my fault if I let them get away just because of Adrenaline.

Finally some common sense. It's weird because i almost never use DS and here i am defending DS everywhere in the forum, simply because i don't get what's the big deal with that perk. I've run it and i've had to face it as well.
One time use perks and endgame perks are a NO NO for me because i feel capped, the only one i like and use from time to time is Adrenaline, but Iron Will seems to work better for me.
As i said in another thread, i find Resilience stronger than DS.

I haven't even leveled Laurie because I have no interest in DS. I don't like one use or Endgame perks. And Adrenaline is both. I run NOED on some Killers, but that's literally the only one I use at all. I like Perks that I can get more use out of throughout the trial.

Its a personal choice and I understand other people like end game perks. Adrenaline is just not a perk I want to use because like 60% of the time its not needed to, even slightly, help me survive. Or I'm already dead. The other 40% is mostly times it could help me survive but isn't necessarily needed.

Adrenaline only activates once, at the end of the Trial, so it needs to be "strong".

  • Kate has average, at best, perks. Boil Over is easily her worst and, honestly, as it is now no one should use it. It could definitely use a buff.

  • I dunno.

    I don't like it, but I don't hate it as a Killer.

I love the maps as a Survivor. As a Killer I find it to be one of the most fun maps. Following the scratches, spotting Survivors running, or couching, in the corn, and getting them when they think they can lose me in the corn.

Eh. Its hit or miss really.

  • @Vietfox said:

You see? The problem is that many people think i don't play as a killer simply because i don't support every op suggestion for killers.
They call it "for the sake of balance",i call it "for the sake of my clumsiness"

Yeah, I don't get it. Just because you see the balance of the game differently than them, and disagree with their suggestion, doesn't mean you are biased against Killers or Survivors. You just have different experiences and see things differently.

But people like to come up with anything to shut down and dismiss criticism of those who disagree with them.

Vietfox, everyone on this forum sees your comments. You have never touched killer in your life

    I doubt that.

I play Killer a lot and while DS is annoying, it's better to eat the strike instead of being too afraid to deal it. DS is stronger because of this. It is stronger because so many Killers stop themselves from playing effectively just IN CASE they get hit by DS. Take the DS and they won't have it anymore, or if its so bad take perks that help mitigate it. Or, better yet, both.

I agree with you but I'd just like to point out that "there are no girls on the Internet" is a dumb 4chan joke that has been around for years. It isn't that they literally think there are no girls on the internet. lol

  • I have like 50 on Kate right now.

I got tired of taking them every game. And I always find one in a chest.

  • I'm confused why this Killer did this. If they carried you the first time, expecting you to DS, then they either would have hooked you or eaten the DS (meaning that the next time they downed you they wouldn't have to Dribble you). Killers are too afraid of the Obsession using DS that they are creating more problems for themselves then DS itself causes.

Just... Why Dribble if you aren't by a hook? You are just letting the Survivor get away without them having to do anything.

  • Honestly not really surprised.

Third Person is more about comfort and whichever you use more often. And since Survivors have skill checks it also comes down to whichever you have quicker response time with.

First Person needs better camera precision and control, which the mouse offers in spades compared to any controller.

  • I don't refuse to play with anyone.

I just have certain survivors I dislike seeing, especially as a Killer.

    These are:

    Bright coloured Fen/Meg/Nea/Claudette
    P3 Claudette
    Bald Dwight
    Laurie

But eh. It's not a big deal.

  • So. Many. Hillbilly and Cannibal rituals recently. I'm fine when it is the Spirit or the Hag (basically the only other two I get rituals for) since I use them but I'd like more variety.

Also, more Survivor rituals, that aren't tied to a specific Survivor, would be great.

There are a lot of times I agree with things you say, but this thread, like some of your other previous threads, shows an unflinching stubbornness in which you believe everyone who disagrees with you is either attacking you and/or is a killer main, and thus is biased so their point doesn't matter. You have been more reasonable and insightful recently but you are once again showing that when it comes to your own thoughts and ideas you get confrontational and uncooperative at the first sign of something that you construe as wrong, or an idea that you oppose.

People who disagree with you are not putting you down, they are not after you, please stop this paranoia. It's tiring for everyone.

    All Killers: fix their hitboxes
Hag: Maybe give her a lunge after she teleports.
Pig: Remove the roar from her ambush, prevent Survivors from seeing the auras of Jigsaw boxes until the trap activates, make her power less RNG-based.
Clown: Fix the bug where his bottle just vanishes in mid-air or explodes in his hand.
Spirit: Let her see blood while phase walking

I agree with all of these especially the Hag and the Spirit ideas since a Lunge would be great, though I don't think it would make her too strong, and I suck at following sound so seeing Blood with the Spirit would be great.

Also, The Clown's bottle blowing up in my hand, or in mid-air, or passing through survivors are just annoying. Especially when it just blows up on you. Great now my vision is obscured a little and I wasted a bottle.

I disagree with your proposed Doctor ideas though. But that's because I hate madness and really dislike going up against the Doctor. So annoying.

  • Could be a connection issue, could be just a set of Framedrops that occur often on console.

I wouldn't label this as a bug. Its similar to when you are in a chase and connection issues/frame issues cause you to get hit even though you swear you hit your DH or dropped that pallet, or vaulted.

One of the joys of playing on PS4/XBone. :|

  • Hatch showdowns for 20 minutes is sooooooo fun. :|

Such a waste that I don't even really attempt looking for the last Survivor anymore, or stand on top of the Hatch, I just let them go unless I actually run into them as they are jumping into the hatch. Since swinging at them gives them the free escape anyways.
