Just make the grind easier.
New players coming to dbd have a lot of grinding to do before they get the perks they want.
At least make it so we can get 2 perks per bloodweb.
^This.
Also I'd like to be able to sell things I don't want as well. It would further help alleviate the grind. And remove clutter.
-
Someone hasn't played a First Person Shooter or League of Legends (or any MOBA for that matter),
DBD may have annoying teabaggers and junk but the community really is not that bad.
-
I've encountered exactly one Sabo squad and they were easy since they threw themselves in front of me to drop the hook. Also, wouldn't running Iron Grasp be better than running Hangman's Trick?
Also also, how does one encounter so many Sabo Squads that they run Hangman's trick on basically all their Killers? 😶

Pharmacy for life. You usually only need to heal up once or twice anyway.
TBH I never really thought about it but, really, Pharmacy is a better version of Self Care right now.
Also, I never use Self Care.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh
Ok nevermind then. Ignore me.

imo
"When all Pools of Devotion have been corrupted, all corrupted Pools of Devotion reset and The Killer automatically gains the Corrupt Purge effect. "
Is a nerf. Though I can see why they made the change.

A perk that doesn't make you rely on teammates as much so you can make sure you're healed majority of the match and able to hold on to a chase much longer isn't ''actually a good perk''?
After the nerf to healing times, and the amount of Killers running Sloppy Butcher? Yeah, no. Run a First Aid Kit or find another Survivor, both are faster than self caring most of the time, and you waste a TON of time doing nothing with Self Care.
-
Playing survivor is easy mode. Especially if you are going for Adept achievements.
-
I only read the first sentence or so, because damn.
Those survivors also paid money.
Not saying that I think toxic survivors are fine, or anything, but using "I've spent x amount of money" as a defense against anything makes you look like an entitled brat. It makes your argument lose A LOT of weight and dilutes the focus of what you are saying.
People care about Toxic players. No one cares about how much money you may, or may not have, put into the game.
-
The only one I really question here is Save the Best for Last being in Top Tier. High Tier makes more sense. But eh.
-
The number of people in this thread attempting to defend why they DC or defending those that DC is kind of gross.
Everyone already knows why players dislike playing against Legion but it doesn't dismiss or make the fact that they DC any better. And, really, it doesn't explain why they DC.
The only real reason they DC is because they don't care about anyone else and, if they DC any later than the beginning of the match, don't understand math.
-
Sickness buff?
Yes please.
Players not cleansing is the same as players deciding not to heal and buffing sickness specifically would be amazing.

Also.
Plague has the embarrassing problem shared with the Doctor in that if you're right in front their face, their power doesn't work.
Then hit them?
In this thread you were specifically talking about the strat of Survivors not Cleansing. If they aren't using Fountains they will get broken, and once they are broken you don't need to use your power. At all.
I feel there is some sort of misunderstanding here. If survivors aren't cleansing then, yes, her power is useless. Once they are broken. After which you don't even need your power any more because everyone gets downed in one hit.

Trapper can lock down a quadrant of an entire map, even though I think he's still awfully predictable as a killer.
Wraith has movement speed in cloak form.
Myers has instant down once he hits T3, which gives him an end game presence.
Clown completely negates looping unless you want to be punished for looping.
Plague's gimmick does not help her at all stall the game out, or end chases faster.
Yeah but what if the Survivors avoid all the traps?
Also you said she is worse than Leatherface but didn't give an example of why. You didn't even bring him up but explained Killers I didn't bring up specifically because I knew they are better at patrolling Gens.
Except Myers. How is Myers insta-downing at Tier 3 BETTER than Plague insta-downing ALL THE TIME when Survivors don't cleanse?
I 100% think I am missing something here.
-
It was an obvious joke.
No one should ever DC, but it seems like its a lot of peoples' answer to basically anything.
Hillybilly is still an incredibly strong Killer. Easily at the top next to Nurse.
-
Does it really need a buff?
-
Why hunt for it? I just assume everyone else is looking for it and work Gens and if it doesn't get cleansed, at least work is being done. I usually only cleanse it if I see it on my way to Gens or I am looking for it because I know everyone else is working Gens.
-
The Clown is great.
He's just not for most people.
-

Because you don't have anything to stall the mid game or end game. You don't have the movement speed to check gens. Her early game is possibly the worst (aside from Trapper) in the entire game's roster of killers. If you're not doing well late game with Plague, you're screwed.
Maybe I'm missing something here.
Does she not have the same movement speed as the Trapper, Wraith, Myers, The Clown etc.?
If the Trapper and Leatherface are fast enough to patrol gens then she is too.
-

Yep, that's it in a nutshell.
It's a problem that's exacerbated on large maps.
Plus, even if they don't heal... Once last gen pops they all go for free heals, then go for the gate... EZ WIN (except for maybe the one survivor you're chasing while last gen pops, who then gets adrenaline speed rush).
Ok. But how is them constantly being injured, and unable to heal, make her worse than Leatherface or just other 115% M1 Killers that they can heal on, like the Trapper and Wraith?
I honestly don't see the issue if everyone is constantly one hit from going down.
-
Revert her nerf and she'd be good.
She's not top tier but she isn't trash right now.
I disagree with you saying her power doesn't do anything.
-
@Zanfer said:

The OP is talking about a high risk/reward strat against her. If no one cleanses yes everyone can be m1 once for down. If no one makes a mistake the plague can't do anything and is a killer that can be looped having nothing to down the survivors besides her m1.
@tehshadowman33 please confirm if I understood what you said.
Right. But this strat doesn't really make sense and doesn't explain how it makes her worse than Leather Face.
Or the Trapper even.
-
I agree with some of what he says in the video. The matchmaking is pretty bad and the piping system right now is just awful. However, I wouldn't say these are the biggest issues right now. Players who DC are currently, imo, the biggest issue plaguing DBD right now.
Also, finding a game on PS4 is pretty easy. Just take a bit of time as a Survivor since a LOT of people are not playing Killer right now.

That's a petty reason, but ok. Also for a time she was D-Tier hag has been on an adventure in terms of balance and placement in tiers.
Eh... It not really petty.
After the Hag changes he still put her in D-Tier because HE doesn't know how to play her and doesn't like her. Which is fine, its his opinion, but his reaction to people who disagreed with him was gross and ridiculous.
He basically called anyone who didn't agree with him stupid and that HE knows better than EVERYONE ELSE.
I'll still watch the video but I just wanted to get my two cents in on that topic.

Crying about DCers. Seem a valid reason tbh.
So, you are sooo petty that you are willing to lose all your BP and basically the time you spent in THAT match so you can get to another match just to screw over the Killer?
Kind of pathetic if you ask me. You just got nothing for nothing.

DC
-
I've been playing on PS4 all day.
-
1 DC every 3 games? I wish.
I've been playing all day on PS4 and I kid you not there is at least 1 DC every game. Except like every 5th game. Its insane. Someone gets hit, DCs. They get hooked first, DC. Myers or Legion? DC. Today has been hell. I accidentally hit someone I had just hooked when I was going for someone else and they DC'd. Its nuts and completely unfun.

People quit because of a killer they cant bully without gen rushing.
But players werent quitting all the years of cyber bullying against killers, but as soon one survivor is being harmed and not granted their undeserved survive, the players riot.
What an amazing agenda the DBD community has built up, congrats.
Legion ist not overpowered, he is not fun to play against, just like freddy, but he is not strong, not at all.
Exactly.
They aren't overpowered but I hate going against the Legion, not as much as the Doctor or Freddy, but I still dislike them a lot. I would never DC but Legion is sooooo unfun to play against and something needs to be done after they start punishing DCs.
-
The Pipping changes basically forces Killers to not camp and tunnel tbh. Unless they don't care about rank.

I have never dodged as a Killer, however, I can not understand how anyone can argue that using voice com is somehow not an advantage or "cheating the system" when it is not part of the game and was never an intended feature.
I play the game no matter what but it's not cool to act as if using third-party programs is somehow balanced, or not advantageous.

So, take what?I just watched some gameplays but I like that skill in Identity V that you can stun the killer with a gun, in DBD could be a baseball bat only found in in-game matches, ultra rare, 1 use. Also have a store in game, 8v2...
LAST YEAR: THE NIGHTMARE: you can cook the killer with a flamethrower, but I only want stun, no need to kill the killer, can craft stuff found ingame (why not a 1-shot broken shotgun?), killer skill to drag with a chain, throw survivor to others....
The point is, sure there are tons of new good ideas to renew DBD, now that (at least for me after +400 hrs) feel it a bit less fun than before, so only play trolling and taking risks cuz nothing is too exciting as before, we need more action.
I would like a 2v8, perks fighting other survivors, perks to stun killer, more action, more competition!
So... you want DBD to become a "bully the Killer" simulator? There are already ways to stun the killer, we don't need more.
Also, Baseball Bat idea makes me think of Friday the 13th and anyone who knows anything about that will know this is a bad, BAD idea. I ran No Fear Jenny and I still feel bad about it.
Fighting other survivors would buff Griefing. Which is also bad.
You only play "trolling"? ... Ok.

@ShyN3ko said:
-if an others survivor is near the timer gets 0,5 seconds faster
timer speed = 1 seconds + 0,5 seconds * number of near survivors
-when someone leave the game through the gates or the hatch(but only if this ? >survivor dont was in a chase), 1 survivor with a reverse beartrap will die
-timer start when a generator is completed and the survivor who completed the >generator lose -2000 pointsI like some of the changes you listed. However, I heavily dislike the idea of all of these ones I have quoted.
It not only makes the game unfun for Survivors but it harshly punishes them for playing the game. Griefing would be a huge issue with Pig fights and losing BP is an awful idea.
You can't use the "99%" gens argument for a few reasons:
- New time players would not know and some may take a while to realize this is even a thing.
- The Pig can attack gens to regress them. Leaving Gens at 99% is asking for trouble. Especially if the one who has the RBT is having a hard time getting the trap off.
- Players have different playstyles and forcing them to play one way so they don't straight up lose points is unfun and a poor design choice.

But nope nobody could find a 3rd gen there was one in the street and one outside a house. There was no basement gen, both upstairs gens were done, the single gen downstairs was done, the one in the park area was done and the other one on the street was done. There was not other gens other than those 2 left if there was someone would’ve been working on it instead of playing tag you’re it with the killer.Am I reading this right? I find it confusing.
One sec.
I need to do a point by point of this to understand it.
2 not done: One in the street and one outside of a house.
No basement Gen
Completed gens:
2 Upstairs
1 Downstairs
1 In the Park
1 Outside (The other outside Gen)So... somehow you were still in the game trying to complete a gen when you had 5 completed already?
Am I missing something here or did you not actually check one of the gens because you thought it was complete when it actually wasn't?

Entitled selfish people disconnect. You can counter Legion by stunning wit pallets, looping for as along as you can, I once had a Survivor find an awesome tractor loop on Autahaven that I could not catch him on, it was embarassing. But mostly your goal is to loop and run from that killer for as long as possible so that your teammates can do Gens. Legion is normally slow and I run him around for ages forcing him to use his FF on me, and none of them want to but realize they must. Also if you're on console you can juke him really hard.
If he has Bloodhound good luck with that.

RIP me and my gay self.
Also "Gays dont like the f word." is objectively false. I know multiple gays who use the word freely. My bf included. I don't, but I don't swear in general.
That's like saying women don't like the "c" word.
Also, I use all sexual orientations as insults. I must be super pathetic.

Is Legion a "bad" killer? I would say yes. Because they have to use gimmicks to be played well and they are unfun to play as and against.

I hate the hatch, I feel like the mechanic alone pits survivors against each other when not in swf.Solo mindset of most survivors: worst case I get hatch idc how
swf mindset: do everything we can to work together to get doors open
The number of Times I've seen my fellow Survivors doing nothing after the second gen pops is unreal. Lately, since I got to the Purple ranks, I've done like 3 of the 5 gens solo and I'm confused at what at least one other person is doing, especially since it is becoming exceedingly rare that the gates get open, it's usually one survivor escapes via hatch or everyone dies. And then you see the scores at the end of the game...
I've even had other players point at me from across the map when I get hooked for the second time, and 2 gens are done, basically telling me to kill myself. Because, why help when they can maybe get the hatch?
