I really wanted a chance to submit my designs, I worked tirelessly to make my submission. So I visit the contest link today (The 22nd) to submit my drawing knowing the contest ends on the 23rd. The switch to dedicated servers turned the experience on vommy mommy into one ruled by luck and not by skill. I literally hit a Claudette FIVE times with my puke and yet she remained healthy throughout all of that. It's even more devastating when her corrupt purge seemingly passes through its target without even registering. I rarely even play her anymore despite really loving the killer. Title says it and it's what I experienced from playing both sides. As killer my most matches end 3-4K and I usually play even pretty fairly. I don't tunnel or camp much. My worst matches are usually 2K. Killer is only more stressful but other than that it's easier you have lot of control how the match goes but as survivor you don't. i think it's very dumb that someone can have such an impact at the game by just burning a offering. The fact that a killer can send you to midwich and survivors to rpd is dumb. I know that tome stories are hard to flesh out and take time to create, but will we ever have rewrites of times that received poor reception or just need changes? For example, the Nurse’s tome was generally frowned upon the community, as we felt it went against the original nature of her character and how she became the nurse. I see people make posts about why X perk is broken or OP, and why people shouldn't run it, and why it should be changed. However, we know that the devs look at statistics. And they have their sights on the perks that are used the most frequently. And are making plans off of those statistics. With the upcoming rework to the grind reduction and changes to the prestige system it's a good time to get your characters prestegied. Personally before hearing the rework only 1 survivor was p3 and about 4 were p1. For killer only 2 were p1. I seem to be the only one but I am looking forward to the final down becoming a Mori. I've always though this is how it should have been done. Although I do think that it should be a choice. That way if you need a stack for BBQ or wanna give hatch you still have those options. Someone check my math cuz I am dumb. Using killers as an example. Prestige System It takes 1.6 mil BP to hit level 50. 4.8 mil to hit prestige 3 to unlock char specific perks across all chars. 4.8 mil * 27 killers = 129.6 million BP to unlock JUST THE KILLER SPECIFIC PERKS across all KILLER chars. So i heard that BHVR wants to nerf all the meta perks. I don't know why tho, i think only perks that really require changing are NOED and Dead Hard. Both reward player for making mistakes and losing. I dont get it why would they nerf BBQ that rewards you with extra points for doing your objective well. With the introduction of MMR and just general experience with the survivor mains, killers that don't have a chasing power in some way, "m1 killers", will always be considered weaker because after an amount of time, a survivor can perfect their looping to the point catching them is almost impossible. Simply put: NOED is overrated as all hell and can maybe guarantee a single kill, unless the rest of the survivors go for the unhook while it's still up. What killer do you like playing that you dont care what anyone says or judges you by? For me its honestly Freddy and Trapper, Freddy is one of my favorite horror franchise characters and has some good anti looping imo. Even though hes considered weak and "boring" to some people, I find him enjoyable. It doesn't matter if they're friendly from the start, throw the match when they're pwning or getting pwned by survivors, or give the last survivor hatch. For me it's no different than if a killer is AFK or being toxic. I'm not here to farm bloodpoints (even though I'm a slave to the grind like everyone) I'm here to have fun. Question for SOLO-que survivors: You get to lobby 3 console players, Do you STAY or LEAVE lobby ? I know, weird question, some console players r so excellent but many are not best teamates, lets say it like this. If we turn off crossplay I bet it ll take forever to find lobby. I think that this is one of the best announcements in this game's history. Alot of small and big improvements that I think will make playing the game better along with issues I had being brought up and fixed too.
