Weaker players get eliminated fast in video games. A concept foreign to a lot of survivor mains.

One more and you have 100 started discussions with your non-stopping rants about the game.
And you to reply under every single one of them, daily. We're on the same boat friend.

Survivors want 12 hook matches without hooking the same 1 or 2 or 3 persons in a row while also doing everything possible to prevent that.
Is that so hard to understand?!
Understood brother, i will git gud.

Oh no, i mean in general. Like in the other discussions you started where I directly you with your lies and you just ignored me. Should I searched for those posts for you?
in this case… you are just generalizing the survivor community.
though, if you say the survs are complaining and get stuff… would you consider your posts as complaining as well? Or are these considered giving reasonable feedback?
I am not in the forums all the time so i often miss the replies. No i'm not complaining, i'm just stating facts and pointing out that this game will always cater towards survivors more because they're a majority of the player base, and through a business stand point the majority needs to be catered to in order to generate the most revenue.
-
Well Blood Favour can be easily countered by just holding forward to a pallet that isn't blocked.
-
@Mooks said:
P.S Yes it's an "us vs. them" post. Anything else you notice other than that Sherlock?
yeah I notice you make plenty of discussions without any basis, even make up statements/lies, and you only look at everything from your own very narrow point of view.
this post literally can be summarized as ‚killer good, survivor bad“
What did i say that isn't true though? Isn't literally every killer strategy considered bad or unhealthy.
-
@Pulsar said:
A Killer who finds three gens at the beginning of the match and never leaves is not something to be encouraged.
Any perks or powers that enable that style of play should be looked at closely. Games should not be taking 30+ minutes.
Likewise, Survivors got basekit BT. That's it and it can be completely negated by tunneling off of hook, ironically.
Honestly, these posts are quite entertaining. This is basically the Killer version of Sluzzy, RIP.
Yeah survivors just got basekit bt and not literally every information about the match on their hud right? "Game's shouldn't take 30+ mins" And gens shouldn't be completed in 5 mins either but they do don't they? Perks that enable 3 gen playstyle should be looked at closely according to you, but you say dead hard is fine. I wonder what side you main lol. Ignoring facts as usual and acting all righteous.
-
Camping and tunneling, illegal. Slugging, illegal. Gen regression, illegal. And now 3 genning, illegal. Bhvr please introduce bot killers that can give survivors fun 10 minute matches.

Matches with any number of DCs are simply not counted for the kill rates.
But rage quitting on hooks are.

Devs have gone on record to say DC’s do not contribute to kill rates
I also mentioned rage quitting ON HOOK. Chose to ignore that?
-
@Phasmamain said:
6.1.0 brought the killer buffs you mentioned which put the kill rate at 60% which is what the devs want
Unless kill rates got much lower due to solo changes I’d say they are happy at where killer is
You are aware of mass amount of dcs and rage quits after patch 6.1.0 right?
-
According to survivor mains "NO! Killers received 0.2 secs faster pallet kicking speed last year and 10 WHOLE SECS added to gens. So killer is easier than ever and solo queue destroyed!"
-
@Nihlus said:
I have played survivor almost exclusively for years. Killer is significantly more fun and easier than ever. I'm maining Skull Merchant now and am having a blast. But hey, you feel better after getting that rant out?
You didn't need to say you're a survivor main. Can already tell from your comment.

@EvilSerje said:
Behavior has always rewarded foulplay killers
"Everytime killer start tunneling or camping, behavior has always rewarded them by giving killer buffs to actions and nerfing survivor's useful perks. So why shouldn't they act entitled and camp and tunnel even more, right? They are literally rewarded for acting this way. If the survivor rage quits it even easier because it's one player gone, compared to FOUR players, so survivors rage quitting entertains killer's ego even more and is always rewarded. As a survivor i get plenty of reasons to rage quit, for example, potato team, tunnelers because i didn't bring DeadHard, campers, 3 gens lock, bad map, ERUPTIONS, Nurses and Blights, loading into badly designed maps like Saloon, Midwich or Wrecker's Yard. But you just gotta suck it up buttercup and play the game instead of quitting."
Just pointing that rage vents and ranting can work both ways 😏
Lol devs reward tunneling and camping by nerfing survivors? They literally gave survivors basekit bt with haste and pretty much every information about the match on their hud. Also, dead hard lasted 6 years and is STILL the most used perk in the game. You arguing just to argue huh?
-
Thana nerf
-
@Laluzi said:
You're completely missing the point. Skull Merchant needs to be changed, not nerfed, because her power is only good for a crappy stall gameplay that's fun for absolutely nobody. She completely sucks otherwise - that's why everyone is doing it. And it's disingenuous to think that people only ask for one of these things to be changed and not the others, tbh. People have been complaining about pallet density and crappy map design since the game launched. One issue does not invalidate the other.
30-minute stalemate games are not healthy for DBD.
Knowing Behavior it will probably just be a nerf and not a rework, because reworks have always taken years if it happens at all. Too much work.
-
@ProfessorDunwich said:
I predict her ability to 3 gen will be nerfed and she will either receive no buffs or superficial buffs in other areas. She then be left to languish with Freddy and Trapper becoming more of a joke than Twins.
Even if they nerf her 3 gen she obviously won't get buffed in any way, because then "OMG solo queue destroyed, time to find SWF" posts will start.
-
@Gamall said:
So 45 minutes stucked in a game with no chance of winning is considered fun in your view?
The same killers as soon as PTB's Skull Merchant was released immediately insisted on buffing her at random, putting aside the 3gen strategy. It's a consequence of what you ask.
I have always argued that she needed not buffs but rather a total rework of her power, which did not happen.
If Skull Merchant made sure there's NO CHANCE OF WINNING for survivors, people would be playing her more and she would be considered a S tier killer, but that isn't the case is it?
-
I pull off so many sick ambush attack mind games near loops, only for the survivor to Dead Hard it as soon as the hit lands. If i choose to miss on purpose to "bait it out" they get away while i recover from the missed attack anyways. So a survivor can literally wait at the loop, and as soon as the pig gets close, press E. There's another uncounterable scenario for delusional survivor mains that say "just wait it out".
-
Nice!

@Aven_Fallen said:
I laugh too.
Yeah. Remember you crying rivers about Eruption too.
-
@Xernoton said:
Both perks are horrible. Both shouldn't stay like this.
DH needs a complete rework from the ground up or a nerf that makes it useless. It has been 6 years. That should be more than enough of this perk ruling DBD.
Eruption would be fine if it would only stop a survivor from working on a gen imo.
Tbh Behavior destroying a majority of their player base's favourite toy (DH) would be a bad business decision. Who's gonna buy all those Feng skins if they destroy Dead Hard?

Keep that same energy if they buff killers in the future to compensate for these "changes"

If killers are unhappy how long will it take survivors to find a match?
Then give killers something nice every once in a while. Then go back to making survivors into gods in the future patches. We saw what happened after the "killer buff patch".
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
Only flaw in that logic is there is no 4 without the 1 being there too.
So they have to cater them equally, which they do to an extent. People are just biased and only see what they want to see
They just gotta make sure the 1 doesn't get completely pissed off, test the waters a little every time.
-
Yes they need to be spoon fed every crumb of information. Because of the usual "solo queue weak" bla bla bla. Windows Of Opportunity basekit next probably.

They already nerfed many of survivors meta perks in the last perk rework, including DH.
One is them is given as basekit, DS is still decent (and they provided an even better version of DS, off the record) , DH is still the most used perk. Killer meta perks nerfed to the point you don't see them anymore.
-
@ButterFlee13 said:
Population of killer is 1 : 4 Survivors.
So, they should cater to survivor to keep people keep playing. Business is business, thats how you make money.
Not to say it is a fact. Im speculating here based on my experience in corporate function.
If you are not happy with killer, maybe try survivor side. Chill with game, hold m1 rather than beat yourself up doing muti tasking with little rewards or appreciate on the good play.
You want to win, you tunnel someone as early as possible so efficiency can be dropped. < Killer bad, brainless play, ez playstyle, you are suck. See how other side view you :)
Nicely said, it blows my minds that people can't grasp this and actually think that the devs are "fair" and cater to both sides equally. They're gonna cater to whichever side makes them the most money lol. 4:1 Business is business.
-
@MonicaLapacini said:
They will not nerf survivor anymore.
Yeah pretty much, only give more basekit stuff.
-
@HugTechLover said:
Can y’all just be PATIENT?! It literally only mentioned an eruption nerf, because it’s the most anticipated perk nerf. A mod already said the notes did not encompass all the perk changes.
What you seriously believe the devs will nerf a majority of their player base's most loved perk (DH)?
-
Maybe nerfing gen regression perks that literally require the killer to patrol the map will fix this. Right?
-
@Aven_Fallen said:

OP knows that they are losing a lot of games, so it must be the games fault. And the Devs have to fix this.
@Topic:
Even with the Icons, Solo is not on SWF-Level. Since information is still not the strong part of SWF.
I didn't expect your survivor main self to agree anyways. Who doesn't like free buffs and basekit perks just given to them for free right? If they made DS and Windows Of Opportunity basekit tomorrow, you'll say something like "well killers just need to git gud" lol. And no i don't wanna hear how you play both sides, cuz literally every comment you make say otherwise.
-
I've been getting inside snowmen as killer trying to have fun with survivors, but they just wanna rush gens instead. So boring.
-
-
I wonder if the one's commenting "have fun" would keep the same energy if hitting snowmen gave the killer a haste status for 10 secs.
-
@humanbeing1704 said:
have they said anything about giving killers snowmen this time around? would be cool to burst out of a snowman and get a haste effect for like 10 seconds lol
I would actually be happy if they did this. But it's too much work for them getting killers to fit in snowmen i guess.
-
@Gamall said:
Imagine being outplayed by a .5 endurance effect
Another survivor main just completely missing the point. Read the "pallet" part, slowly.
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
People will never, ever, ever be happy with dead hard no matter if it's balanced or not.
Okay you comment the same thing under every dead hard post, but you don't argue the uncounterable scenario though. So maybe what people are saying about it are valid points?
-
@danielmaster87 said:
It just needs to go. You can't have a perk that's essentially a third health state and have it be balanced. Same reason people complain about Off The Record giving 80 seconds of Endurance. Dead Hard is basically unlimited Endurance, just used in a .5 second window.
And some survivor main would comment under this with yet another "just bait it out". If you try baiting/waiting it out near a pallet the survivor just puts the pallet down then lol. Got no choice but to swing and let them mend. If they just made it that after you use it, you can't instantly put a pallet down, it would be fair.

If you know someone is nearby, you can hit them instead of picking up. And regarding pickups, a 180-turn should also do enough that the Survivor does not get into position.
Really, it is not rocketscience to avoid a Flashlight-Save, Flashlights are still the weakest Item by far and it was more like a Killer-Buff, because now even more Survivors try for Flashlight-Saves and dont bring Medkits instead...
Whether it's easy or not is another question. But why did survivors need to get handheld yet again for no reason lol?
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
If a survivor gets in front of you quick enough to make use of the extended window, you've made a severe mistake.
If a survivor bringing a flashlight is inexperienced enough to need this window, they're probably going to throw the game for you anyway.
Is it a necessary buff? Probably not. But the only people who might actually need it are the ones who would actually be better off bringing nothing.
Ya but it'll also waste time on the killer's end. Always looking for and chasing away potential flashlight savers because apparently it's easier to save now. While somebody else is sitting on gens. They just didn't need to give something in return for getting rid of a broken mechanic.

"And killers are being sent to this map a lot because the chapter just came out."
It's been confirmed that this has been reverted and the map will spawn as usual until the issue is fixed.
"I think a map that's giving auto wins against M1 killers is a pretty big issue"
So let's kill switch Mother's Dwelling and The Game while we're at it.
Oh wait, it doesn't literally break the game.
Yeah let's pretend Mother's dwelling and the game are as broken as a map spawning pallets 3 feet apart from each other. Nice logic.

The bug has been confirmed and at the moment they decreased the chance for the map to appear, to mitigate the issue while they are working on a fix.
Okay thanks for the info.

You know that the moderation team have a direct line of communication to BHVR and therefore a mod communicating official information is the same as BHVR communicating official information?
Also what do you want them to do, release a patch the exact second they find a fix to this one specific bug ignoring every other issue that's currently in the game, including the power of Knight just not working half the time?
I think a map that's giving auto wins against M1 killers is a pretty big issue. And killers are being sent to this map a lot because the chapter just came out.
-
Even if you take the kill switch out of the equation, lets not forget that the devs haven't even openly admitted this "bug" in any of the official pages yet, leave alone trying to fix it.
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
I don't think they came up with an excuse, I think they just straight-up explained what the problem was.
With the previous maps being Garden Of Joy and Eyrie Of Crows, and maps like Gideon still existing, my guess is this was intentional.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Because the bug isn’t game breaking like other map issues such as spots where you can’t be hooked
The map is functional just spawning too much pallets
Which is game breaking. Even the babiest of survivors can loop an M1 killer for 2-3 gens by pre dropping pallets and running to another.
