I guess I am trusting for the last time in the good sense of the developers regarding this update and that this rubbish does not touch the live in this condition

Yeah, true. They are by far the most likely to throw their team under the bus for hatch. Megs often tend to bail in the endgame though.
It's funny cause Yun-Jins, who's lore is all about self preservation, are actually not all that selfish. They just get in, try to win, save their skin if things don't look too great, and get out. No time to be toxic. She's played pretty lore accurately.
I totally agree, Yun-Jin is of good presence, we need many more people like her

Right around the middle is a little crammed unfortunately. I don't personally find Feng particularly toxic, believe it or not. Very mixed bag. Some are extremely toxic, while plenty are very fun and nice to play with and against.
Aces tend to be slightly cockier, sometimes a little toxic but usually it's nothing personal. They're just mostly just messing around.
Meg being the most selfish is a bit of a stereotype, but not entirely wrong. Who would you say is the most selfish?
From my experience I'd say Claudette (the exact opposite of how she is described in the lore 😂)
-
Feng less toxic then Ace? Meg is the most selfish? 🤨

Now survivror can gen rush and killer can't do anything because all gen regression perks get nerfed into the grund.
Hyperfocus and prove thyself still don't get changed.
Survivors have no option but to repair gen at this point, what do you expect them to do?
-
No don't do that! With the very useful new hud icons you can see who is healing for more than a minute with self-care in the corner of the map.
-
They are literally removing the overhar mechanic, don't they?
-
They are simply doing what the killer mains have been doing for the past six years
-
You still need time to find the totem and locker tho
-
It's funny because useless survivor perks account for more or less 80% of the total, maybe even 85% after the disappearance of DH and CoH

DH gets nerfed, now all surv mains cry. Cry more please, I love to see you cry.
The only sad part of the patch is that, without nerfing prove thyself and only nerfing killer slowdown perks, genrush will become meta as 90% of survs can't keep the killer in chase for more than 20 seconds. I'm glad, though, that DH has finally been nerfed. It may be the start of a series of patches that finally bring dbd back to its former glory
Now all that's left is to fix tunneling and genrush, and then I can go back to doing 10 hours straight of dbd as I did in 2019.
We will meet again in a month, when the one crying will still be you, maybe this time targeting sprint burst or something else.

"Apparently the devs want nothing more than for the survivors to sit there at the generators."
Boy, wait till you learn what the survivors objective is!
I'll be happy to oblige them then, my bnp is glittering like a wonder longing to be used

And you will still struggle because you are bad

you need to own them on the same platforms. Please note PS4 & PS5 are considered as the same platform in this context.
I have the DBD account on Epic Games, whilst MYM is is only available on steam. Do I need to buy DBD on steam as well in order to get the rewards?
-
I think you are just bad at playing killer.
Improve yourself (aka git gud)

Title.
I find it genuinely astounding that the playerbase at large fails to understand that camping is generally a very bad strategy. It relies entirely on survivors not doing gens, and instead clustering around the hook and committing mass suicide via killer. I only camp when I recognize that the survivors I am playing against are simply so terrible that camping is a guaranteed victory, or when it's endgame and I got trounced.
A killer that stands in front of the hook is completely and 100% predictable. They are not going to leave, and they're going to sit there and stare at the hook. You can do gens or gates and take a free three man out, or you can feed the killer a 4k for no good reason. If you really want the unhook, one guy gets the killer's attention and another sneaks in and gets the unhook. It's really not that difficult.
Oh, and don't come at me with "muh solo queue", because I play a lot of solo, and I unhook a lot against camping killers AND I make sure my teammate makes it out of there alive. Camping has been a thing for years and it's only become a worse and worse strategy over time. Git gud or die.
Lack of communication is very often a key aspect of not getting out of a camping situation.
Simply removing the hook grabs would be enough to remove it altogether

This game also has bully SWFs, that try to make the game miserable for the killer. And if they are a streamer, then you can hear them make fun of the killer the entire match.
Are you ok with survivors that purposely try to make the game miserable for killers?
Here we are, the victimist killer is already here

Nice, but I also hope they speed up the collecting of each piece as well (even a bit would help) since I would like to have some add-ons and not be randomaly eaten by Entity.
Exactly, I would also prefer to personally choose what I want to collect and not leave everything in the hands of a random system. Clearly at a much higher speed.

Nope, like I said. its a related topic. You can buy really powerful thing with blood points.
I am not raging, its clearly issues that affect each other.
The bro is just scared to face survs with stronger items/add-ons.
Leave alone your poor entitlement man, that's not a valid argument
-
I have seen killers waiting for dh when survivors were in deep wound state or when they had just used sprint burst, many do not even know what they are doing
-
You have the worst taste in music ever
-
"Nerfed in to the ground"
She has a minimum of 3% more movement speed, because at every moment of the game at least one survivor has a Claw Trap on him and a strong add-on basekit.
All just to make a possible hold-3gen strategy more difficult (but still not impossible)

30 DH in 10 matches done until now, not bad for a perk that for certain people here on the forum was deemed as useless...
Seeing it so often you have a greater chance of adapting to it. See it as an opportunity
-
I would give 5s basekit BT to the unhooker instead of 10
-
- At Vaults Killers are baseline disadvantaged because they cant rush or go fast unless you play specific Killers or take the Clown Perk."
- "At pallettes you have literally 0 power. You either need to win the chase before a pallette or be forced into a lose-lose every time"
Literally the poorest entitled killer I have ever read, apparently you don't even know the basic workings of the game.
Come back when you have passed 100 hours of gameplay please.
-
Yes, an increase in the activation range or duration of its effect would be necessary.
Those who object are those who place their face in front of the hook without moving a muscle
-
The only promise of the developers is to have a consistent 60% kill rate on every killer which already received huge buffs in the last July patch

Bots were introduced precisely to learn a new killer

(That only happens the first few times you face a killer you've never/barely gone against.)
Are you saying that the OP saw the load screen tooltip, went back into the lobby, changed their loadout to equip the BNP, and then went back into the load screen?
No, I'm equipping the BNP regardless of the killer precisely to prepare for the eventuality of a skull merchant.

Vulnerable might be a bit too long...
Does anyone here have a word that means "to make something fragile"? Because that would work perfectly.
Enfeebled works somewhat but it's as long as Vulnerable and people might not know what enfeebled means...
What do you mean by "too long"? 🧐
-
"Vulnerable" is the right word in my opinion
-
Adapt to the perk instead of creating new cringe accounts man.

If Skull Merchant made sure there's NO CHANCE OF WINNING for survivors, people would be playing her more and she would be considered a S tier killer, but that isn't the case is it?
People don't play her as much because they don't have the time or the desire to play for an hour every time they choose to open the game.
Moreover, no one said she is an S tier killer.
She's a C/D in chase, but she's an S in keeping in-game hostage survivors, which is quite different.
They simply have to find a meeting point between the two phases of the game.
-
So 45 minutes stucked in a game with no chance of winning is considered fun in your view?
The same killers as soon as PTB's Skull Merchant was released immediately insisted on buffing her at random, putting aside the 3gen strategy. It's a consequence of what you ask.
I have always argued that she needed not buffs but rather a total rework of her power, which did not happen.
-
You can't do so much in a close range against Victor, his hitbox is huge and windows are useless.
All you can do is to pre drop a pallet in a long wall jungle gym, mind vault repeatedly and crush him when he fails his jump.

It means Pinhead's would have a much harder time protecting the Box, one step too close and the game progresses normally.
Its a suggestion of how bHVR could solved this issue. You understand now? Ill edit my comment to clarify.

Ok I understand now but I think bhvr could solve the issue easily just pausing the chain hunt if Pinhead is nearby the box for more than X seconds?
-
@Emeal said:
when Pinhead hits the box out of the hands of Survivor using Franklins they automatically pick it up right?
Then you could make it pick up contact or walking over right?
I don't think that would hurt Pinhead players that much and the BoxHostage Game is pretty unfun for both sides.
But what does that have to do with what the OP said?
-
You can even complain about non-existent scenarios, you all are unbelievable

I mean... killer bonus is at 100% at the release of a new chapter.
Shouldn´t it be... you know... be at 100% survivor? Since everyone wants to try the new killer?
It's 100% on surv in my case from the release indeed.

I hate to break it to you but you can still play against her. People managed to do that before they every added her directional audio. We also don't know, if it's a bug. Sound occlusion has always been a thing in this game. Killers had to deal with it for years and it got never solved. Now that survivors are on the receiving end of that particular stick it's a problem though.
I think they should revert it to how it was with the directional audio but making it seem like the world is ending is ridiculous.
I have no idea why they touched these perks. Pretty much all of them are dead now. You could use them before and they would give you value every now and then while not being too strong. But now? Even Infectous Fright, which was quite decent before, is just bad. I guess they want us to run Eruption instead. It still works fine because you see the auras.
The Leverage nerf is probably a meme. That perk was already trash. This makes no sense. What reason could anyone possibly have to run this perk, when Sloppy Butcherer exists.
I think that in the next hotfix everything will be fixed, it is unthinkable that perks become unusable because of ridiculous mechanics.

Do you consider a bug a buff?
Like... really?
It was not even mentioned in the 'known issues' so I doubt it is a bug at this point
