It takes practice, work hard and you will be rewarded

What kind of question is this?
-
COB is ok
Nowhere to hide needs a cooldown or a range reduction at least
-
It's a bug
-
Huh? He auto-banned himself?

They're right though. Removing hug tech will virtually do nothing especially that the newer maps arent just straight boxes for loops its got multiple items stacked close together or just a random part of the wall sticking out.
Now am I saying it shouldn't be removed? No I'm pretty neutral and I'm just giving the logical explanation of what would happen if it was removed on how it would be virtually the same.
Ok it will virtually do nothing so just get rid of it so it's all the same isn't it?
-
Because it's easier to ask several nerfs instead of adapt
This has always been the average killer mentality over the years, and even though DH would be gutted, there will be complaints about SB, Lithe etc

Every day one user forum wakes up, comes to the forum and starts with 'Devs are/aren't X side'

I agree there were a lot of survivor perks that got gutted also. I never once argued that fact. I think what they did to DS, self-care, and calm spirit was just as dumb as the eruption nerf. I was just speaking from a killer pov since I mainly play killers but I completely agree on survivors have seen BHVR's way of nerfing perks. But there is one major outliner here between survivors and killer perk nerfs. Even though they both had a number of perks that just killed off bc of the overhaul patch only one of them kept their num one perk and that is DH. DH was "nerf" in that overhaul patch but it wasn't killed or gutted. It only made slightly weaker thanks to its rework. Is better to go against it now? Yes, it is. I would prefer going against today's DH anytime than the old DH but why can't killer have that same treatment for its num one perk? Why can survivors keep its toy but killer cant? Did the eruption need a change? Hell yes, it did but didn't need to be taken out back and shot.
The main problem with these meta shake-up patches is they really don't do anything other than replace the old meta with a new meta. By nerfing things into the ground and buffing weaker perks all you doing is removing choose and that is what most of us want. I want all the perks both on the survivor and killer sides to be as close in power as possible so can easily choose the perk you like the most and get the same value for it. As it is now there is no more variety than it was before. You still see killers and survivors running the same 4 perks every game. The only different between now and pre-6.1 is those same 4 perks were switch for 4 different peks but there still is any variety,
You have hit the point.
I'm afraid that devs really don't know how to balance perks because they themself don't play their own game. Nerfing into the ground a perk only to render it unusable and replace it with another with a different name is the worst move you can do. Every perk should be equally strong as others in order to have variety and different playstyles according to different killers but it's never gonna happen unfortunately.
The only thing I want to say to you anyway is that there will always be a meta that you change the perks as much as possible. Killers will always use gen regression perks and survs will always use 2nd chance perks and gen progression perks, there is nothing wrong with this because it is how the game works expecially in high MMR

I’m gonna laugh if and when they fix his collision issues and maybe take out hug tech. Y’all are still gonna come on here and make complaints about blight when you realize it’s not gonna change anything. Blight mains will just utilize bump logic 100% of the time instead.
You cannot be taken seriously in this discussion with that name 🤣

Hahaha, It still is useful, oh plz XD It's going to be outshined by better regression perks and info perks. 10% current is nothing! Pop is 20% of the current and we saw how that worked out for it. It has been completely abandoned and hardly used by killers. Pop wasn't even an unhealthy perk when it got nerfed to the ground. You be better off running jolt, pain res, or COB+Over than the new eruption.
As for the info part, it's just as bad. 10s of aura after a down is useless. You don't need that info when you down someone in the first place unless you are a slugging nurse or blight. We all know survivors just love going against nurses and blights and being left on the ground to bleed out. That is so much FUN!
Ppl aren't upset that it got nerfed, we're upset it getting completely gutted and made useless. It went from the overpower regression perk that wasn't fun to go against to one of the weakest regression and info perks in the game. No one will ever run it again just like they don't run ruin, and pop anymore. On top of that, we most likely see COB or Pain res get the same treatment in the future bc survivors are going to flood the forums with posts like "Pain res is so boring to play against", "I'm tired of seeing COB every match plz nerf". Survivors will complain about any regression no matter what bc they hate seeing killers run those types of perks. The regression perk can be the fairest perk in the game but ppl will still try to get it to nerf bc they think it is unfun to play against in every match. Well, I'm tired of seeing Hyperforce builds and 4 DHS every match but you don't see me whining about it on here all the time.
Anyway, I leave this post off with is pic bc it sums up BHVR's way of nerfing killer perks to a T.

Tell me about all the other surv perks nerfed into the ground after the previous massive overhaul patch
-
Nah, YOU have nothing left. Not speak for everyone else. They are not as bad as you
-
@Chilli_man2400 said:
I think it was actually nerfed to hard. I don’t know how current progress math works. But I think it should have stayed at 10% progress total but removed incapacitated.
Basically: every 10% of gen progress, 1% will be taken off now
So if you have a gen with 70% progress, after eruption it will go to 63% (instead of 60%)
-
The game over the years is slowly taking a direction in favour of the killers with small changes with each update.
The change in eruption means nothing.
If a perk is sick it should just be cured

I've seen people complaining about Calm Spirit here a few times
"A perk should never remove means for the killer to find a survivor, crows are important"
I'm not even joking
I'm seriously holding in laughter

Eruption dumpstered and nothing for WoO, DH, CoH. Didn't expect anything less!
Are you really complaining about WoO lmao
What's next? Calm spirit?

I think it's a little bit too much but whatever I'm so glad they addressed it
-
Eruption got erupted
-
Don't think that DH, as well as other perks previously reworked in last July's massive patch, will be touched again

BNP is the exact same problem. They got really salty over you denying them their bully.
I would never have resorted to tunnelling if they had not given me the opportunity in fact

That's true, I play to win. I just don't tunnel on 5 gens which I can and then i can beat almost any team. it's just funny what happens when I play fair against a squad that comes to finish the game in 3.5 minutes.
They are just playing efficiently as you should

Nerfing her is the least reasonable response.
Ok so what's your suggestion to how counter her?
-
Because it is the only decent thing they know how to do
-
You didn't even once get 3 kills and 4 out of 18 games you drew, it seems to me that you are the problem here.
Are you sure you know how to play killer?
-
It is a balanced perk indeed.
After the rework survivors adapted to it while the killers did not, because it is easier to ask for yet another nerf
-
🤓
-
HUD icons are a feature of the game itself, they have nothing to do with the blindness effect
-
Gens are exactly going as they always should have been, the problem was before, where they were not touched at all
-
Mmm no, it's just that many killer players are poorly skilled
-
There's no need to let us know that you, like at least 70% of the crybabies killer in here, are so lacking in skill issues that you have to resort to tunnelling/camping to try and get the 4k you so desperately deserve (and you are entitled to). Obviously it's the addition of dots to the side of the survivor icons that's sure to make you lose a lot of matches, and not because you may find yourself playing as you go up MMR with more and more skilled people, it's so hard to admit you're not up to scratch isn't it?
As if killers didn't already tunnel since the beginning of the ages then... you know what's new
-

because then the matches would be literally impossible?
Imagine, if you will, going up against someone and knowing who it is and what Killer they usually play (if that isn't outright told). Not hard to then select appropriate perks, burn a particularly unfavourable map for their power or playstyle, and generally force playing at a huge disadvantage.
I didn't mean knowing which killer the survivors are about to face, but at least the prestige (just as previously there was the rank which also only showed when the game was over)
-
I don't know. I also never understood why the survivors are not allowed to see anything about the killer.
-
Yet another case of skill issue
-
The developers' objectives were twofold
-To reduce the gap between SwFs and SoloQs as much as possible (we are close, but not close enough)
-To buff killers so as not to generate a huge discrepancy between the two catchment areas in order to achieve a kill rate no lower than 60%.
All that's left now is to wait for some time to pass so that as much data as possible is collected and act accordingly, but that doesn't mean randomly buffing everything JUST because the most miserable part of the game has been brought slightly above the minimum playability level.
If it is necessary, improvements on some killers and/or QoL will be implemented, otherwise nothing is mandatory.
-
Good, now replace it with PT and keep the genrush
-
I'm very happy with that, it's a very good implementation for SoloQ
-
Nah solo is still pretty awful

On the other hand you have very large maps with an extremely low pallet density. I think a balance between size and pallet density is important in order to give lower tier killers a chance while giving survivors enough ressources and still avoiding 3 gens to be too tight
I don't have anything. I play regularly both sides and It doesn't take a genius to realise that the rework of this map is a mess.
Tiles are even more chained each other, huge dead zones, frequently 3gen and the beyond of the main building is totally useless except for the annoying boil over abusers because there are no hooks in proximity (those in the basement are the closest)
-
Don't know what is going on but this is happening more frequently in recent times, especially on the new reworked maps (rpd and Haddonfield too).
Making realms smaller is leading to a situation when avoiding a 3gen is pretty tough, particularly if the killer decide to not move from there
-
Have HUD icons already become the new excuse for killers to justify their inefficiency in playing games? So soon already?

This is the picture they used when talking about Crotus Prenn (which has already had it's visual update) It's likely they didn't want to reveal the realm getting updated just yet.

I wouldn't read too much into that banner, it's just a concept art from a past visual update since we aren't ready to spill the beans on which realm is next just yet. (But you are correct, that is Disturbed Ward.)
Oh thank you I didn't realise

Badham was the first map to be visually reworked alongside yamaoka. It’ll be red forest or swamp next
The pictures seems referring to the Crotus Prenn asylum
-
The answer is in your question
-
I agree
The strategy to give us recolored skins is very lazy and disappointing
Also I expected so much a good Huntress cosmetic because I play her a lot and I haven't own one of it yet and that is very lame
Most of the other one are very simple and cringe
-
63% kill rate and still demand for buffs
-
I can hear clearly footsteps
-
It doesn't work that way here, you can only complain if the maps are giant and the killers struggle to do gen pressure, in all other cases the solution is 'simply don't 3gen' and get on with it
-
@XLuka8001 said:
Wether you get a brutal ruthless or merciless no longer depends on pips. Now you only get merciless if you 4k ruthless if you 3k and brutal if you 2k or 1k. However this won't affect how/if you pip at least i think so.
Yea but there could be an issue because I got "merciless killer" severely times with 3k+hatch escape
-
The map is simply too small for the generators to be far enough apart
-
Not yet :(
