@Peanits @not_Queen So instead of using Ruin to slow down the gen rush and also toi eliminate the totem complaints here a new idea instead. Why not get the entity involved since it loves to toy with the survivors and enjoys hatch grabs etc. So instead of a Ruin perk the entity puts Ruin on gens under one of the following options. I am asking this question because I have my doubts about the next killer, whatever it may be, being as good or better than the Clown. I say this because the Clown is a very good killer in the right hands with his ability to counter looping and end chases quickly. TL;DR: It's very simple. Killers camp and tunnel because it gives them power they would otherwise not have. Discourage camping and tunneling by making it fun for the killer to chase. When chasing the survivor, killers feel powerless. Especially when you are forced to vault safe windows or break safe pallets... So I've been playing survivor for awhile now and I've noticed this weird lag issue and it's been causing some very insane phantom range which if you aren't familiar with the term phantom range is pretty much being hit from a mile away and it's pretty annoying and it's been very consistent. Every few minutes up to a match or two later i get kicked to the press X screen because "You need an internet connection" I press X again and I'm immediately back in able to find games only to be kicked out again. It's as if the game for half of a second thinks I have no connection or something causing the game to be literally unplayable. I spawn into a game, literally no joke take a step forward and i already see a nurse coming at me, she had a legacy melee and bloody clothes, I try to juke her in every way i know how but failed both times she went for the hit. Decisive Strike / Dead Hard / Unbreakable / Adrenalin I found were a little OP as I climbed survivor ranks right up until a point. Once you hit rank 10 and beyond you'll find killers are more often Nurse than not. Against a REALLY GOOD nurse I feel like these perks are totally fair. So the other day i was sitting in a toilet thinking what can we do to our beloved Play With Your Food to make it good and i think i came up with a pleasable solution I kept in mind that the perk is a token based and its obsession perk so i just altered the cause and effect So how about making the perk as follow: 1. The main reason survivors are considered "overpowered" is because it takes so little time to do all five gens. Since each gen takes 80 seconds, assuming the first survivor found wastes around a minute, it is highly likely that that two to three gens are popped before the killer has exerted any pressure on the other three to leave gens.
