Yes add pickaxes so that survivors can just mine holes into the outer walls and escape.
Clearly escaping a match in 4 minutes by slamming gens is too exhausting and unfair for survivors.
-
Because the snowman immunity shouldn't be a thing in the first place ?
Why talk about it when you can just not play during the event waiting for the snowman to end.
-
Why are you lazy to break the chase and get away, insted wanting killer to just let you go ?
-
Why not play survivor then or play something else, I heard civilization is a good game (try VHS honestly, it's pretty good in balance department imo).
-
Nobody expects much imo when there is an actual event happening.
-
When surivors can do it right now, assuming they all play well and are coordinated, why not killer.
Or does anyone think that serious 4 man SWF of good players with meta perks whos only purpose is to win won't destroy all gens each time around the 5 min mark and escape with 3+ survivors almost guaranteed.
-
It's a pity that such a fun perk has such a terrible trigger condition. It's like if dead hard could only activate each time after one of your teammates die.
Waste of potencially amazing perk.
-
She's basically mix of PH and huntress that can hit through walls but needs to so twice so she moves at 115%.
I don't see any issues, more stuff to dodge and think of as survivor. Good artists are rewarded for landing birds properly, bad ones are time inefficient and end up losing.
I can never have enough killers with strong chase powers to outplay.
-
On the contrary, I think that the level of game changing design we need more of.
-
I've gotten 100% with natural gameplay with a lot of luck somehow, other then adepts and maybe 1-2 other ones which I started doing since there were the only ones I was missing.
Tbh if I was supposed to somehow get old "where did they go" achivement actively with just solos, I would go mad. But it was rather epic moment when it happened without any coordination by just everything lining up perfectly.
-
wow that's really well photoshopped picture
-
She is perfect exactly the way she is now yes.
But if people were too adamant about the first crow damage hit and wanted it removed, she should also get a cooldown buff so that she can use more crows more often to offset such a big nerf that imo she doesn't need.
-
Imo it should be the other way around. Boons should have limited number of uses before you can't set them up anymore.
Something like each boon perk you take gives you 2 stacks for blessing a totem so if you just take CoH, you can bless it only 2 times so if killer snuffs both out, you can't set it up anymore. But if you take 3 boon perks, you suddenly have 6 stacks so the chance you run out of blessing option before match ends is suddenly very low.
That way if you're going for near full boon build, you have far more then enough stacks to bless anything anytime but if you're just using 1 boon perk, you have to be strategic about when and where you'll bless.
I would even give some further buffs to boons since this would be quite sizable limit, so bigger aoe effect, smaller sound notification for killer etc.
-
Perfect as she is. One of the harder killers to play properly with decent amount of options to counter her power as well.
-
Let's hope devs go easy on her in the mid chapter patch.

her design really isn't on par with the other killers whatsoever. you just think that because there are so many artist players trying to do overly fancy stuff with her power.
she requires practically 0 mechanical skill and minimal tactical skill for the best zoning & anti-loop in the game, on top of free & fast info, sniping potential, ranged camping potential, and decent juggling potential. no other anti-loop killer has a kit this stacked, unless we're going to consider nurse/spirit/MnK blight anti-loop, and among those blight & spirit at least obey physical reality.
So you just don't like that her kit can do more the just 1 useful thing ? Unforunately, one trick killers are generally bad, that's why killers like blight who has the best mobility and amazing antiloop is such a good killer. Because he can do multiple things at the same time.
You say that she requires 0 mechanial skill but at the same time you said before to wait until people get good with her, if she was easy to play, everyone would already be dominating games with her. I've seen so many people not use the slowdown she gets from using her power and just stay in the loop she just trapped with crows. She goes down to 3.68m/s which is a lot and allows you to chain loops against her quite well considering she needs to hit 2 birds to injure while someone like huntress goes down to 3.08 m/s with much more deadly projectile.
So what exactly don't you like, the direct damage I could understand. I wasn't expecting that to make it to live but if it were to be removed, lower CD on recharging crows should be given to compensate.
What exactly do you want changed that you think is the biggest issue other the full rework which won't happen.

i mean in this case as an artist player it's completely justified. the singular consistent counterplay i've seen is an aggressive coordinated gen game on a large map, with each individual survivor being good at punishing any amount of mistakes with tile abandonment. and i'm not even sure if that's legitimately effective or if i'm just not playing well/scummy enough, or if my deadlock + pain resonance + franklin's + bbq build needs something extra.
this killer is dumb and i can't wait for people to get good at her and understand her for what she is. i have no idea how this design made it through.
If people played all killers at highest level making absolutely no mistakes, basically any killer with good antiloop would have 0 counterplay for survivors.
Every PH would always hit every single hit through walls, every blight would make perfect chain rushes in every single loop, every huntress would make perfect god shots at every loop.
Not a single good killer in DBD has fair or meaningful counterplay if he's played by a psychic that doesn't make mistakes. Both, survivors and killers make tons of mistakes every match and capitalizing on them or forcing them out is always possible for both sides.
If you don't like her that's fine but her design is on par with other strong killers DBD has.

I mean, she is unfun to go against. No reason to use those: "".
Just the way BHVR creates Killers so that the only thing you can do is to hold W, which is boring.
Ah the good ol unfun to go against and can't do anything against her arguments unanimously agreed by everyone no doubt.
It's not definitely just very personal opinion while there are many others who like facing her.
-
No matter what tier she is, I hope she stays the way she is now.
-
Haven't really tested that many builds since I'm P3ing her but Ruin, Undying, Pentimento, SH-Pain resonance were working wonders so far.
Ruin especially is amazing on her since swarmed survivors need to get off gens or they'll get injured/downed and even if your ruin gets cleased you can replace it with pentimento for 30% slowdown forcing survivors to cleanse further.
-
It truly is the best when survivors complain about killer camping gens. Always hilarious to hear.
-
For one stealh killers are already destroyed by like 80% of DBD maps which are extremely open.
And for second if you really hate stealth killers, just take 1 antistealth perk and that will counter all of them completely.
-
I'd say they're ok. We don't need any super drastic game changing addons, they're always hated anyway. Just look at iri heads or 3 blink nurse.
-
No she's perfect as she is.
No further changes to anything at all required.

S Tiers sounds a bit too much, imho...I think she reaches A Tier, at best.
That's more then enough for me. The fear is that they'll push her down with unreasonable nerfs for some dumb reason in the future.
-
Pyramid head, I love looping him so much.
He might soon be contested by artist though, didn't have enough games against her yet but he's fun to loop as well.
-
Very well said. I'm still worried even with quite a few of her weaknesses that BHVR might nerf her further in near future which would be very sad to see.
For now, I'm so glad she retained her long range sniper playstyle and all the cool prediction shots you can do through walls. I would gladly give up some of her direct damage antiloop in exchange for more power to this playstyle but I'm also very happy with the way she is now too.
-
Have you tried NOT staying at a trapped loop. Do you also stay in a loop when you see trapper set up a trap there and then you run into it ?
-
It's people who stay in 1 loop even after getting hit twice by the crows, then complain she's unfair.
I wish I got to play against her more, it was a lot of fun looping her the couple games I've had her.
-
All the killers you mentioned at the end there when played by good player who uses their power fairly well downs you in a loop with about the same gameplay. Especially nurse, how is she an example of well designed antiloop killer in comparison to artist when even decent nurse is 100% death in short loops unless you do what, exactly, chain tiles and lose LOS which you're supposed to do vs artist as well.
Your definition of antiloop done right is very odd when you basically cherry pick which antiloop you like and which not.

You mean like... Cenobite mains? Yeah about that...
I wouldn´t get my hopes up.
I mean, there is at least 1 twins main so there also has to be at least 1 cenobite main.
Anything that's not blight, demo or huntress just gets a bad rep.
-
We HAVE built-in antitunnel already, it's called teammates.
Whenever you're on death hook or beiing tunneled while others weren't hooked at all, they're supposed to go out of their way to help you, even get downed for you just so surviovrs as a team don't lose a player and it doesn't change into 3v1.
Blame teammates for beiing terrible at assisting you and do your best to help your teammates when they're getting tunneled.
You're part of a team, cooperation is essential and helping each other against tunnelers is huge part of that.
-
Well, the real question is, how well are you actually playing her. Since unless you're landing every single crow hit already whenever it's off cooldown, you still have room to improve with her.
I'm looking forward to see actual artist main play her at high level in a month or two. I bet it will be a joy to watch or at least I hope.

Yeah she takes a lot of thought process to play against:
*Hold W Key*
Sound about as much as looping open loop vs M1 killer. At least here you can about the crows.

That would be clown on lot of steroids. It would be super broken.
She doesn't need any buffs imo.
I have played few games and she is really fun to play. Her adept was hard tho, basically 1 perk.
Yes, clown on steroids. The world is not prepared for belly as mighty as that.
-
No, it's already good enough, the slow is very likely too much and would make her into a clown.

Yeah everyone loves anti loop Killers. Enjoy!
I will if I get to face her. Thank you
-
I like the wording on this.

@Moxie said:
Don't bother. She is incredibly unfun to versus.
I liked facing her on PTB a lot. Anti loop killers are far more interesting to loop then basic M1 ones imo.
-
Seemingly for some people it still was easy.
Thank you.

I love her, I want her to stay the way she is forever. So much to learn and get better at. Sky is the ceiling.

Finally, someone to truly replace deathslinger for me. I'll have my fun while it lasts.

Can you elaborate so it makes sense then?
Running into placed crow that is just sitting there swarms you only.
Getting hit by fired crow can injure or down you.
-
Hope you have enough to share.
-
Good changes, I like them.
Now waiting for midchapter to see what their further plans with her are. I'm not very certain she won't get gutted at a later date but right now it looks promising.
-
Because before you stack it up vs good survivors, all gens are already done.
-
Wow, I misread that. That's actually amazing, thanks for pointing that out.
I gues I'll be actually using that perk now.

Well, getting killed is ANNOYING but it's also the killer's objective, camping, tunneling, slugging is annoying but yet it is another strategy. Anyway, if players found another use for crows then let them use it, looping is not intended and it's in the game since when?
But she's not trapper. If you want to play trapping killer, play trapper who doesn't have ranged projectile power that can down.
