I’ll take salt over dealing with hackers and cheaters any day of the damn week.On console, you get both, same as on PC.
How did so many people buy the "consoles don't have hackers and cheaters" propaganda?
I don't think its so much believing that it doesn't happen, it just appears that it doesn't seem to happen as often, or at least doesn't get reported / recorded as often as it does on pc.
Honest question since I'm genuinely interested and tragically non tech minded, is it a lot easier to cheat via pc than on console? Is that why it seems abundant on pc and not so much on console?
Consoles are just PCs with downgraded hardware. If you can do it on PC, you can do it on console, especially now that Microsoft has decided to use basically the same OS on its consoles that it sells to PC users.
Piracy is still a thing, cheating is still a thing, and so on. Game companies and console manufacturers would like you to believe those don't happen on consoles because it's cheaper (and therefore more profitable) for publishers to publish games on consoles and it's more profitable for console manufacturers when you need to buy an entirely new rig every few years, as opposed to PC, where development costs go up due to different hardware and user costs go down because you can just upgrade the one part that's bottlenecking your system.Think about it: How, exactly, are consoles so different from PCs?

Camping puts all the power in the Survivors' hands. It's up to you to punish him for it by gen rushing and getting out alive. If you're the one on the hook, it's up to you to stay there and keep him near you so everyone else can rush gens.

- Iron Grasp adds 2 seconds of wiggle time.
- How fast you wiggle your joystick has no impact if you've exceeded the input speed limit.
- Your character level is meaningless.
- Escaping is a "you" problem; as in, "you are not good enough to escape".
- Platform-specific issues are not balance issues.
I'd say "see you in the Fog", but I don't play on PS4.

Yay, my comment is gone. Why does this forum have a problem with editing?
Anyway: saw Sin City? There's a beautiful moment when Marv says: "I like hitmen. No matter what I do to them, I don't feel bad."
Same deal with those 4 flashlight, 4 DS Squadettes: anything goes. Camp. Tunnel. Bodyblock in basement. Whatever it takes.
I can get a 4K against such groups around 1 out of 10 times. And that one 4K... it's worth it. It's better than sex. You've been having sex wrong if you think that...

You do know that not all survivor mains are entitled douches right? Some actually try and help others out.
Not all psychopaths or sociopaths are killers, doesn't mean I'll hand one a weapon and turn my back. In the same way, I wouldn't trust a Survivor main to be objective about Killers.
-
I'm going to give away a big Killer secret: Survivors are not as good at stealth as they think they are. Many times when you think you "got away" or "evaded" Killers, the truth is, they saw you and just didn't think you were worth chasing.

If you bring candyman better give me bee power or smashing through mirror power. Cause may have hurt my 2nd favourite killer freddy but my favourite one better not get same treatment. Like focusing on one aspect of him like can only summon him by saying candyman three times. Cause i would hate another waiting game licensed killer. And think with all this gen rushing takes fun out of it with a waiting game killer. Myers gets a pass at that gameplay because he plays to his character which is lunging and stalking in silence. It's 5 times, you uncultured swine! You are hereby banished from the Candyman fanclub!

I asked this question in the recently-created Lore thread for Thursday's stream/video/whatever. Hopefully, we'll get an answer.

Why did Lisa's (the Hag's) symbols draw the attention of the Entity? It sounds like there's a connection between her village and the Entity.

No.

And now?

Do you believe it's a real thing now?

Oh yes, gotta read about it to figure out what that system is about. Cause im just a german delinquint not an expert on politics.I'm not an expert either, but here's the short version:
Each state is more like an independent country. The votes in each state are tallied up, and whoever wins in each state gets all the votes allotted to that state. However, the votes are disproportionate, and the votes from people living in certain states count more than votes from people in other states. This means that a president can lose the popular vote (meaning they're not what the majority of the population wants), but still get elected, and for almost 200 years, Republicans have been doing just that. -
@ChesterTheMolester said:
If you refer to the bussing and dead vote problem that saw plenty of abuse on both sites but i havent seen clear data on it.No, I'm referring to the fact that Hillary, for better or for worse, won the popular vote; i.e., what countries with democratic elections call "the vote".
-
@ChesterTheMolester said:
Dont underestimate the amount of disgruntled democrats and left wingers that voted in spite cause they wanted Bernie instead of Warmongela Merkel.Hillary would've won in any country with democratic elections where one person=one vote. However, she had the misfortune of being born in the USA.

Title.Change my mind.
P.S. Self Care usage is officially declared at ~24%. That means that, on average, 1 survivor will have it each game and the other 3 won't. Do a little check for yourself and make a note of how many SCs you can see each game.
That's not right. It's 24% of all perk slots. There are 4 perk slots per player, and only 1 of them can be SC, so the actual percentage is 96%.

Yes, being bothered by the ammount of lols and how they "undermine" certain comments is childish, especially when people accuse me of that. I got better things to do honestly. You're actually less humble than I thought. I thought you were too humble to make statements like the one you did before, implying that you could objectively tell when something was an issue or not. However, you proved me wrong.
The mechanism by which they undermine arguments has already been pointed out, I won't repeat it for you. If you're interested, you can go back and read the comments.

I won't have empathy for people who are bothered by the ammount of lols they get, like seriously?
I know i'm gonna derail the topic again and i kinda don't want to talk about it but i've worked as a volunteer in other countries (1st time when i was 17 yo), so i can tell when something is an issue or not.
Again, just because the spam thing is happening right now doesn't mean i'm involved... Who's the one with the fake news now?You misunderstand. It's not that it affects us personally, but it does undermine well-reasoned arguments. If you did work as a volunteer, you should be more humble than to pretend you can objectively know when something is an issue or not. It's a shame that humility is not something you learned during that time.

FYI, I'm assuming "escape" means "escape the chase".

^This. Again, the problem, as always, is that those who aren't inconvenienced by an issue lack the ability to understand how it might inconvenience others. Empathy, apparently, is not a universal trait.

I did say it was an attempt. I never said it was a very good one. However, there are people who pay attention to those ratings and will point to them as an excuse to dismiss or accept certain opinions. The devs themselves might do so, I have no idea.I doubt people care enough for the ratings on these forums to take peoples opinions seriously.
I doubt even the forum itself takes itself seriously.
You doubt wrong. See, the problem with you and @Vietfox is that neither of you have been on the receiving end of this spam (no, a couple "LOL" reactions is not the same as having dozens or even hundreds on your comments), so you don't know what effect it actually has.
-
How does looping help one escape, exactly? The whole point of looping is that you're being chased indefinitely.

There was such an event some time ago, where anyone who said anything in favor of Killers had their posts spammed with "LOL" reactions. My own "LOL" count doubled during this time. Every time it's mentioned, they come out in full force. Nowadays it's less organized, but any serious pro-Killer comments and threads get flooded with "LOL" reactions. This is the first I'm hearing about it.
Even so it's an emoji button. I can't see what the fuss is all about.
Then again I didn't care about down votes when they were still a thing so maybe I'm wrong.
It's an attempt to undermine any serious discussions and legitimate opinions.

He used it to "destroy" my arguments by spamming 8-20+ lols on my every post, 800 lols in total in one week. At the same time, he boosted his "awesomes" on every his post, values were almost the same, he gave himself ~ 10 awesomes on every his post.He is someone, that points out everyones "hate", while he bothered with his friends to create fake accounts to spam lols, just to annoy others, and make his epenis bigger.
Only because he is little, spoiled kid full of anger.
I find it hard to believe that 5 survivor mains on these forums decided to [BAD WORD] with a random poster by spamming LOLs on his profile.
Do you have any proof of this and if so why haven't you contacted the mods if it upset you so?

No.

4% per attempt adds up to about 11.5% on three attempts, using a binomial distribution. 10% per attempt would make it 27.1%.
5 attempts at 4% each would be 18.5%, and at 10% would be 41%.It's fine as it is, getting off the hook by yourself is meant to be rare.
-
I like it, on paper. I'd love to test this.

@DocOctober @Dragonredking I said the same thing and even told them how they could help get this implemented, but they don't seem interested in getting it implemented, based on their hateful responses to me.

The grind is caused by the cash grab road map.
By releasing more and more survivor and killer they flood the game with new perks every time.
That way it becomes very frustrating for new player. I am an "old" player, I already have most of the stuff.
Most of my killer are P3 and decked out with perks.
It's the new player that suffer and they will get forced to spent extra money to get auric stuff.
From a marketing standpoint, it needs to be grindy to make the people spent money.Avoiding the question...
Do you enjoy the grind as it is now?
Avoiding reading?
I already answered.
I do not suffer from it, because I only need to catch up on a new killer every now and than and I do not buy survivor anyway.Dude, it's a yes/no question. Do you enjoy the grind, yes or no?
-
That just sounds like an entirely different game, with elements of F13th thrown in. Maybe you should become a developer instead...
-
Aura reading - so powerful, almost no Survivors use it.
-
You can already pick the map in KYF, just FYI.

It's not about that, seems as though ya'll are so used to lack of vacuum posts you fail to understand. This issue can only be seen from a survivor point of view, it will bring the killer to the same side as the survivor sometimes, even if you are on the other side. Even with proper timing, spacing, etc, the pallet will bring the killer to your side, register a hit and then warp the killer back. Sometimes it will just keep the killer on your side, the pallets will sometimes drag a killer to your side and get stunned on your side with a registered hit. It's seems like a latency, fps, and some extra issues combined, not sure. The bs hits aren't felt by killers do to killers being host, only the survivors see some of this. That's a bug, but it's not what OP is complaining about. OP is complaining that his character doesn't teleport to the opposite side of the pallet as soon as the interaction is available.

Orion knows all and sees all! And yes, I know what you did last summer.

Ranks 20-16 are isolated from the rest, and it's impossible to derank below 15. I recommend waiting until the next rank reset, one week from now.

The Hag's traps are suppose to disorient a Survivor by spawning a Hag's Phantasm, playing terror radius, revealing red stain and turning your camera on it. It's not a bug. It is supposed to work like that. If you want to avoid it, you may go through the static field made by the trap crouching. While crouching, you won't trigger the traps.yeah but on pc you can imediatley move your mouse a little and it turn your screen unlike on console where you have to hold the joy stick to turn
Camera limitations on console also apply to the Killer. With a little bit of forethought (i.e.: looking where you're going before the trap goes off), you can keep moving more or less in the right direction while you adjust the camera.

Press shift to run and you will be freed.

Maybe she just called for Entity on purpose, cause she wanted revenge? Symbols and their origin don't really matter, cause Rin Yamaoka did the very same thing without using them. She didn't know it would summon the Entity, though. In the lore, it's implied the symbols were just another tradition kept alive by her small village. Rin, on the other hand, didn't even try to contact the Entity; the Entity contacted Rin.
