@DarkWo1f997 DBD would die if the OW team worked on it, they'd probably release a MOM 2.0, and they would completely nerf all the characters streamers complain about, since they don't hear the playerbase.
Yeah and I bet they’d give survivors ultimates and make mercy a killer.

@DarkWo1f997 DBD has the same level of balance than Ow a.k.a, the devs don't know what they're doing.
You know what was funny? I just went on an angry rant in my friend’s Xbox party (group chat) saying I bet the overwatch team could balance this game better than BHVR can lmao.

I gave the game a bad review because the game is woefully unstable.
Playing the game for 2 hours, I have to restart the game between 3 to 5 times because of infinite loading screen, crashes, or LOD bugs that don't go away. Let alone all the bugs that happen within the game.
The game is just in a state functionally that I couldn't recommend it to anyone.
BHVR isn’t competent enough to fix their game let alone balance it.

I'm starting to think Nurse only needs her add-ons reworked tbh. I don't want her to be trash, but I do want her to be fair. I know my rework isn't perfect, so do you have any suggestions?
Also, when we played together, you keep saying it's a guessing game. You're true about that, but when you're in the middle of no where, it's a free down for me because there are no LoS blockers. Idk, I want Nurse to be loved by both sides, like Spirit.
Honestly I’m just thinking about doing live podcast like discussions and posting them on the forums since no one can be bothered to read. I think nurse is honestly fine where she is, the only thing that puts her in a weird spot is her addons.
Like current legion, nurse needs addons to be effective. And even then, only certain addons are actually good for her. One blink nurse is nothing but frustrating.
Her blink and overall kit is well designed, it’s the pressure she puts on survivors that makes it so salty for everyone. I literally have two minutes of me dodging nurses as a survivor, recorded, and I’m not even a survivor main. I have been playing a lot of survivor with my friend lately and it’s starting to be fun for me because of how stupid easy it is lmao.
And as you remember, you’re a good nurse, one of the best on Xbox for sure, but even I was able to juke you by running into your blinks or faking running into them.
She’s rock, paper, scissors the killer but she spooks people so much with how quickly you need to react to her power that not a lot of people actually can keep calm and not be a deer in the headlights.
I don’t think there should be any changes made to fatigue. Maybe blink speed, or charge time, but those are the only things I see nurse needing changes in. If she can only blink once without blink addons, fatigue gets annoying. But people play nurse for that tremendous sense of speed and momentum.
I don’t think her movement speed should be touched and I definitely don’t like the idea of a 10 second blink cooldown after fatigue. That’s going down the legion route and we don’t want anyone to trample any of our precious psychopaths. Poor legion is in group therapy from being so traumatized by magically developing arthritis and being unable to move or vault quickly.
If a rework does end up going through, the only possible changes they can make to her without pissing everyone off like they did with legion is to change blink speed, charge time, or distance.
Another change they may commence is make survivors invisible during the blink teleport phase itself, not saying it’s a good one, but I’m gunna warn everyone because they don’t listen to feedback based around killer perspective anymore. The dark days have returned.
I don’t doubt nurse will be murdered by BHVR, they don’t care like they used to. I’ve just lost my faith in them until they show me they care.
This is a little off topic but I think more ambush/stealth killers need to be introduced, because they are the most well balanced in the game. Pig, while she was unjustly nerfed without compensation for said nerf, was balanced because her ambush ability required skill and setup. You can’t nerf something dynamic like that because the efficiency depends solely on the player’s behavior and skill. Which is where I think they’re currently aiming with ghost face.

Alright, I'll just clear some things up.
I know that you're probably frustrated beyond imagination for getting owned by a Nurse in this one match you probably had before posting this "rework"
Wrong, I didn't get owned by a Nurse before making this thread and in fact, rarely anyone plays Nurse in console sooooo idk why you would say that. Also, I understand that she deserves her kills due to her skill. However, the developers said she's going to get reworked one way or another, so therefore, I suggested this to the developers. Perhaps my version is wayyyy better than their version so if they decide to take my ideas (yes, they have my permission to) then I basically saved her.
Your "rework" would turn her into just anther gimmicky killer that's punished for using their power.
No, not in the slightest. You can still use her blinks to great effects, but the only difference is you have a cool-down time on them. Therefore, good Nurses would injure a survivor and then, blink to them to instantly down them. Worst case scenario: 2 blinks would set you back 20 seconds before you could blink again and down them. 20 seconds isn't that bad for a chase in my opinion, compared to other killer's.
Nurse is not an easy killer to pick up and most Nurse players get bullied constantly.. UNTIL IT CLICKS
You do know I main Nurse on console, right? Check my wall if you don't believe me, or ask @DarkWo1f997/ @Poweas since they know deadly my Nurse is. Furthermore, you didn't even read the add-ons because some of them are extremely good, any feedback on them?
i can still hear the screams

"Meanwhile perks like mettle of man and solidarity are brought to the survivor side as well as flip flop."
MoM is getting changed/nerfed, Flip Flop without an organized team or slugging is useless and you complain about.... Solidarity? Okay.
"I get 4k’s and only get brutal killer at rank 10"
The game requires you to have long games (aka everyone hooked 3 times) and also that almost no gens get done for 9 minutes.
"And I especially don’t think you should continue to nerf things the way you do, because you are harming your game and actually starting to ruin it."
What other nerfs (besides Legion) you think were bad and how would you fix those?
Flip flop is very useful for ping pong killers. Hag, legion, Billy. Solidarity is one hell of a perk with botany and self care, very useful and very very time saving, huge counter to thanat, MoM is getting changed, yes, but we don’t even know how much of a change there’s going to be. You act like it’s going to be terrible post rework, we don’t even know yet.
If I made a list of things I’d change no one would read it because it’d be huge.
The pip system still sucks, I shouldn’t have to drag the game out before i get my 4 kills. If I have to play in a way that’s makes the game more fun for survivors, why don’t survivors have to play in a way that’s more fun for killers?

His FF ms is awful, just like his vaulting speed, which btw those not the only problem, he goes back to 0ms when he finishes the vaulting animation, survivors on the other hand keep their 4.0ms after they've done a fast vault, which makes It even harder for the Legion to catch up with them. Then you take a stun of 4 seconds for a power that cant down anyone... Do you realize how stupid this sounds from a balance point of view 😂?
It IS stupid. But apparently our feedback no longer is necessary. They will handle all the balance from now on and ignore the forums. I’ve lost faith in them.

@Hoodedfengm1n Oh you were talking about the buffed version!
So Thanathophobia did get a change sadly it was a nerf to 1,2 injured people and a buff to the 4th one. It was like 2% tho so it understandable that you might not even noticed it
It’s not understandable, he’s spreading misinformation and ironically crying us the river that he claims I am.

@Mochan said:
I bring these things up only because you have a salty killer here who can't stop himself from spreading propaganda that killers only get nerfs and the game is entirely survivor-sided.
All of us with sense know this is not true. Even a survivor main such as myself knows that both killers and survivors are being buffed and balanced as well as BHVR can.
So stop spewing your "Game is survivor-sided" propaganda. I will stop you at every turn.
I trust my most recent response will suppress that disgusting attitude of yours.
-
@Mochan said:
See you in Chapter 12 then.
- "All killers have received lately is nerfs,"
Oh cry me a river. Survivors have been more heavily nerfed in the past dozen patches than Killers have. There have been three major Survivor nerfs across the board in the last 6 months -- the Lighting Nerf which totally destroyed stealth and made it much easier for killers to find survivors, the Gen/Healing Time Nerf which added time to the two major survivor activities in the game, and the End Game Collapse, which makes end game and the 1v1 match significantly harder than it used to be. That's not even counting all the dozens of micronerfs and some very major ones like Decisive Strike, and all the other nerfs that were done more than six months ago like palette/window vaults, flashlights, etc.
Killers have been receiving benign nerfs in comparison for the past six months, with the exception of the two that you are complaining about -- the Pig EGC nerf (which was necessary because of EGC -- but hey you guys wanted EGC that's on you) and the Legion Rework, which was necessary because Legion was broken and not being used as he was designed and intended and had exploits which totally broke the game. Meanwhile we got buffs like Wraith's ambush attack buff, they boarded up Coldwind jungle gyms to reduce survivor looping there, hiding killer loadouts, buff to Enduring, Thanatophobia, Surveillance, Spies from the shadows, etc. That's in addition to the three major survivor board nerfs I mentioned, which are obviously 3 major killer buffs across the board. Killers have been receiving tons of buffs you are just ignoring them or pretending they don't happen to suit your narrative.
I'm sorry it had to hit you hard because you are a Legion/Pig main, but these changes were either necessary (Legion) or a result of your own doing (Pig EGC).
Remember that the Developers designed legion to be a fun killer -- the kind that goes around slashing and stabbing everyone indiscriminately and chasing everyone around. And he can pip and get tons of blood points without getting a single kill. He was designed that way. When this was brought up in the PTB the devs stood by the design choice. They even said "We're okay with him not being a strong killer. We want Legion to be a fun killer." That was how they wanted Legion to be. If you get kills, then good, but Legion was always about the chase and the gratuitous stab fests.
He was never supposed to become an inescapable sure kill with no chance for counterplay, an exploitative way of using his mechanics that killers discovered, but which wasn't intended.
I honestly don’t get it. I don’t shame anyone, I’m not rude about anything in my post, I stay polite and respectful and voice an opinion, and you respond with,”oh cry me a river” and then make a follow up post calling me a “salty killer main” and tell me to “get good”. So the following response made hours after your original two comments is completely warranted due to your attitude.
Oh look another survivor main. Did you not see that I disapprove of mettle of man being completely reworked instead of adding counterplay? No? Of course not. You tell me to get good, but I get 4k’s and perfect 32k games with current legion so you can stop with the attitude.
Pig’s changes were necessary? According to who, you? The armchair expert I’ve never heard of?
All I want is his parkour vault speeds back. You can’t understand that though, because people like you hold m1 all day on a generator and can’t bother to read the entire post. To call my post “propaganda” and label me as a “salty killer.”
Thanatophobia was nerfed, they slaughtered it after the most recent PTB so you’re unsurprisingly wrong there. Quit spreading misinformation, first learn the facts then run your mouth. Enduring is getting nerfed, and legion's nerf handling was overkill. Deep wounds now useless? Fine, FF speed decreased? Fine. FF vault speeds decreased, stun time increased? Hell no! That’s too far, his power needs a use.
Your arguments here are honestly a joke. Kick rocks if you’re going to have attitude.

It should grant tokens for getting killer stuns or healing other players. It’s a defensive protector style perk that should require that very mindset. I think if this is encouraged, it could be great for survivors like myself who heal the team and aren’t necessarily the greatest at evasion, focusing more on trying to keep everyone alive, staying hidden, and doing gens only until someone needs my help.

Um Hag doesn't get "Free Hits." she has to predict your path, and teleport to it within a second to get a hit. And even then it's not guranteed due to the weird hitting system in the game. (I can't count how many hits I miss because she decided not reach out and smack the survivor, and instead short smacks air.)
A good hag understands that her trap can be used in more then one way.
tracking: I don't teleport to all of my traps, a lot of times just knowing a trap was set off gives me the information for what I need to do next.
Loop breaking: This takes more skill then people give it credit for. Knowing where to place a trap to break a loop so it doesn't get tripped to early, and isn't abusable by the survivors, or erasable by flashlights. Especially given how Hag traps HATE being placed next to a solid object (often the option doesn't even exist, and you have to pixel hunt for the right place, not great to do in the middle of a chase)
Flick traps: These are traps that hags usualy wont teleport to. They are there to slow someone trying to reach the next loop down, and give her a hit. They operate under the hag traps ability to force a survivor to look at it and change running direction. In order to use these right, they have to be placed OFF a run path, with it's AOE covering the path the survivor is predicted to run. If a survivor runs right over a flick trap, it will not slow them at all. it HAS to be to the side.
Run path traps: These are placed where run paths converge, and usualy have to be hidden in some way. (ie: in the middle of a copse of trees that leaves a few ways to run through it, behind a rock that blocks sight of it from the predicted direction of the victim) And are there for a Hag to teleport to and make up distance.
Wild Traps: These are versions of run path traps. They are almost only used on maps that have large areas with reduced vision (cornfields are the most common) They can be a waste of a trap if you don't know what you are doing, and they can be the most productive traps you place if you know your stuff. They are placed out in the middle of cornfields, ect to catch people trying to escape through the area, slip by you, or move from generator to generator.
The Queen is many things. But she is not "Easy." Don't ever insult her like that again. It takes a lot of time and knowledge to play her at a high skill level. Her 75% kill rate comes from lower ranks who just run to unhook, with 0 thoughts of traps, and where you will get 3 people unhooking, leaving 0 people doing gens. At higher skill levels, you have to worry about distractors prepopping your traps, and leading you away, popping your traps IN THE MIDDLE OF A CHASE, so you can't teleport. If you do, you teleport to them, and lose the chase you were in. And that's not counting a myriad of other factors.
However i will state: People that complain about legion need to stop dcing and learn how to play. He was never strong.
Sorry to tell you but shes easier to play than trapper, who has to find and set traps during the match, wasting a lot of time. Hag gets right down to business. She was my first main so you can stop thinking I don’t know what I’m talking about. No offense, I still play her today, and in my opinion, she’s the easiest to play in the roster. Only takes a few minutes to get a good handle on her.
placing most of your traps in between gens and around the center of the map is what works for me at all ranks of play. Especially with thanat

If I have one complaint about Legion, it's that his power is biased against the better players. You run up on a group on a gen, and you're going to land your first hit on the biggest potato in the group. After that you're going up the food chain landing deep wounds until you're finally in a full chase with whoever managed to run the farthest. Meanwhile the others waddle back to the gen to mend and then go back to business as usual.
They can actually do gens and it halts their deep wounds timer. So they can literally continue working the moment you leave. Like I said, hag is the one that is ironically not complained about.

You call out Survivor side as no skill but want more civil conversation? You are doing it wrong.
That being said, I don't believe I ever D/C'd against Legion. I liked playing Old Legion, facing him was a mixed bag. I did find it interesting the person they choose to play reflected on their play style typically. Susie was always the one exploiting moon walking and tunneling, the one that was basically the face of what people hated about Legion. Frank was always the chill one that typically would spare someone if D/C's happened and would stab random trees. And Joey was the try hard even in a 1 man match, but he didn't cheese nearly as hard as Susie. Julie... who cares about her.
New Legion? I played him one round and didn't enjoy it at all. Playing Killer has gotten easier and easier as time has went on. But playing New Legion felt punishing and it was an easy 4 Escape for the Survivors. I felt punished for using my power. Why he needs a Nurse's stun after every sprint he does is crazy. Nurse should explode and Hillbilly should collapse from exhaustion if Legion's power really needs a stun and blind effect to it. I don't like his current state.
Dude, it’s DBD, people get on your nerves, and you should probably consider how mild and polite I was all things considered. I was making a point that if she believes legion takes no skill, than by her own logic survivor takes even less skill due to the ability to depend on teammates alone. Killers have to be thinking ahead to stand a chance.
Both sides have really high skill ceilings and it’s noticeable in red ranks especially. But the bottom line is that is was a ridiculous claim she made because legion’s power is disadvantageous to use now.

@DarkWolf2000 Legion's power at base is flawed and unfair. You get free first hits and can easily tunnel, which most Legion players seem to do.
Having fast movement speed, wallhacks, and a bleed-out bar isn't fun or fair.
The only thing they did to Legion in the last update was remove his exploits, and change the rest of his kit accordingly.
@Orion you think because someone doesn't like the playstyle of a certain character that they should be banned?
His kit is unfair? When was the last time you were downed by deep wounds, and when was the last time a legion was actually able to tunnel you?
You do realize he can no longer see scratch marks or blood in frenzy? Using it to catch up to survivors is a terrible idea and if they’re near a jungle gym or enough trees then forget it.
BHVR is a game development company, they went to school for and proved their capabilities as game developers. They are all certified. Now of course I’m not dismissing what you’re saying, but my point is it’s not so black and white as “it’s balanced” or “it’s unbalanced”
Legion was fair and balanced when he wasn’t being exploited. And that is why not everything in his kit needed to be nerfed. When using frenzy to simply distribute damage to put some pressure on survivors and give you some breathing room, and nothing else, he was fine until people figured out that he could repeatedly use frenzy to down people, as well as moonwalk, which weren’t intended to be as effective as they were, and moonwalking not even meant to exist.
He was flawed, and almost all the changes I appreciate, but messing with his parkour? No no. That’s just ruins who he is.
Legion needs a feral frenzy frenzy speed buff for vaulting, that’s all he needs and the rest I can live with, slower vaulting speeds I assure you have no reason to be slower when the stun time was increased and deepwounds was made a very passive and rather low impacting power.
Wall hacks? It’s only within a certain radius, and with the slower frenzy running speed, you aren’t guaranteed to get hit. He still has to choose which of the three he wants to go after, and then he has to actually get there in time. Plus if you can get him to miss, he’s stunned for quite a while.

And when you see how hard maining killer is all the time you’ll change your mind.
-
And how do you feel about legion getting his feral frenzy vault speed back?
-
What goes around comes around. Over-zealous feedback ruined legion to be extremely unfun to play as, being incredibly slow now. While I’m glad deep wounds is in now way shape or form exploitable, the rest of the nerfs don’t at all feel necessary. He’s slow and it’s sucks.
Now the same thing is happening to MoM, it was deemed annoying before anyone tried to learn it’s counters. Not that MoM actually has any counters besides a bypass via billy chainsaw. Tolerance for these perks is low because killers keep getting nerfed without any compromises. Poor pig is now 100% unable to use her traps to apply pressure. Legion, while moonwalking thankfully has been eliminated, now feels sluggish and slow and it’s unbearably uncomfortable. Now MoM will get the same exact treatment.
