Well hey, at least they didn’t steal your car.

I don’t see an issue with the very thing that makes nurses calling so effective. It’s a perfect 1:1 balance. Leave it I say.

Actually I think skins should be universal for the legion. Everyone has their favorite, after all.

Outside of Frenzy, his basic actions are exactly the same as any other Killer. Could you quote the exact bit that's confusing? I might be able to fix it if it's worded strangely.
EDIT: I think I see the line you're talking about. It's giving you the time for similar actions for comparison. The Legion's breaking speed is the same.
- “Pallet vault duration 1.35s. Cuts time benefit by 25%. (was 0.9s; default pallet break is 2.7 sec. 0.1 for snap, 2.6 for break).
It was worded ok but I just misunderstood what it meant. It was under the legion’s tab so I thought maybe his vault and pallet break times were very slightly increased so that he would still retain his chase abilities in some way.
-
Whispers is the best perk in the game.

This is a good old fashion case of “list of things I can’t adapt to and want them deleted as a result.”
BTW, all credibility you had went out the window when you said “Thanks to BHVR for deleting Legion BTW.”
Just goes to show that these are opinions and not non-counterables really.
The only things in this game that aren’t counterable, are metal of man, and gen rushing. That’s it. Legion would count if he wasn’t being nerfed to the ground.

A bioshock Killer? *laughing hard*
Dead by Daylight have licensed Killers like Myers and Leatherface. Now compare these with this bioshock machine there. So the next would be than the Alien from Alien isolation or what?
Dead by Daylight should have true horror Charracters. Not any "fantasy killer" ######### out there.
So the next would be than the Teddy bears from FNAF or what? *laughs hard*
Simply no.
Putting “laughs hard” into your argument s the cringiest thing I have ever had the displeasure of reading. I broke a few ribs.
-
What’s the benefit for a killer if they decide to open the exit gates, since survivors can just leave?
-
Lol I think your career as an armchair lawyer is not a good investment or fit for you. It’s not a full priced game and it’s functional and consumer friendly. They are constantly changing the game to suit everyone’s needs and have been pretty damn good about learning from their mistakes, and finding that sweet spot of compromise in between both sides of the fan base to keep the largest majority of fans happy as possible.
If you buy this game and deliberately sabotage the experience of other users, you are a danger to their product and enjoyment of others. The result of malicious behavior is a ban. You are not refunded because then you could just buy it from different accounts, try to ruin the game, and be refunded every time. You aren’t refunded as an incentive to stay away.
Users were warned in game not to use those two addons. If you knew anything at all about coding you’d know that every time you change, add, or remove code, it is inevitable that other scripts will break. This is how bugs form, vaults not working, weird pallet trigger areas, spawning, anything and everything has a likely chance to break or malfunction.
Knowing how complex the coding for DBD is, this would be a chain reaction so bad that it could take months just to fix due to how little manpower they have to spare that are working on the bugs already prevelant this patch, and incorporating those fixes by working with the portion of the team’s coders that are currently working on a new build of the game ALREADY.
Sorry bud, game design isn’t a snap of the fingers and a few art assets. It requires talent and a progressional certification just to have a shot at being a coder for a living. These are professionals and you shouldn’t tell them what they can and can’t do, you can suggest whatever you want, but who wants to be sympathetic with someone that wants to tell them how to do their job everyday on the forums? Especially when said someone doesn’t even understand what setinterval/ID:11726Kspawntrue means for example? (May not actually exist in the game files, but is an example of what basic code can look like)
Thousands and thousands of lines of code are being run through your machine within just the first 60 seconds of the match. These things take TIME, EFFORT, AND TESTING.
They are within their legal rights and haven’t violated the law. The only crime being committed is how insanely underpriced Dead By Daylight is considering the insane amount of changes and free content added. And the content additions are becoming more and more frequent as they’ve become more experienced over time.
If I’m correct, this is BHVR’s first ever game, I heard they were in charge of porting games to PC beforehand and had an excellent track record for high quality ports. Dead By Daylight, if I heard correctly,s an was their first attempt at a video game of their own. And indeed, for a first attempt, that’s a pretty damn good job so far.

@Nickenzie you have a lot more influence than I do. What do you think of this?

Be sure to bump this if you think it’s fair. And thank you I’m glad my first feedback was positive! I think I’d like this as well.

So I have some top secret information on what NOED will be, ready?

Don't feel bad, it's what happens when a class has way too much power for way too long, they get hit with the nerf bat HARD.
The problem is that Legion was such a fun killer to play against when the user was not abusing or relying on feral frenzy for downs. I was one of those %1’ers. It sucks that scrubs had to go and ruin him by cheesing his power because they think it’s too hard to play killer any other way. Cupcakes like them should leave the underdog role to me.
Its truly frustrating.

@GraviteaUK All the free ones + cannibal
PC Master Race
I never get 360’d. The idea is to keep the camera straight and drift into them by matching their movements while moving forward.
This causes them to collide with you and you are always guaranteed a hit. There’s truly no escape.
The only way you can 360 is actually about an 80° turn. Pretending to 360 one way, and then stop and 360 the other way is the best method. If you wish to truly master this, you have to get good at faking the juke by turning the other way at different points during the menuever. Sometimes you need to fake twice by turning the other way, and then back again to throw them off.
Experiment, eventually you’ll get to a point where you have a sixth sense that just knows what the timing should be for the type of killer you’re facing. You have ankle breaking movement that ignores all laws of momentum, change direction freely, there’s no consequence. Killers have a very brief period of acceleration from a full stop, you do not. You are full speed at all times.
The biggest bit of advice I can give that’s the most helpful, is make sure you’re near objects when you are first learning, they provide a good amount of protection against killers and can deflect hits if you focus on maneuvering into and obstructing the killer with the object.
If you were on Xbox I could teach you. I’m a great teacher, but I hope this helps none the less.

I'm confused about what prompted this topic. Did someone complain about Franklin's? It can be annoying as a survivor in certain situations but as a killer you have to dedicate a valuable perk slot to use it, so I don't think it's too strong. I used to get really attached to my items and get frustrated when dying or losing them to Franklin's. I learned to get over it.
There is a counter if someone REALLY wants to keep their item. Jump into a locker. It's a sacrifice that I've made back when BNPs were stronger.
Are you honestly surprised that someone would complain about franklin’s? Or anything for that matter?
-
Thank you. This is very concerning and some of these changes don’t make any sense.

The players brought it upon themselves unfortunately
Where is the post containing the changes? I’ve seen snippets but not the actual post.
-
Is there any chance the terror radius halting deep wounds could be changed to effect only the LAST survivor to have it applied to them during a feral frenzy?
-
That’s for you to find out. Experiment. I used to give builds but the thing is they end up not liking it because they use a different play style, and that’s fair, I think you’d be holding yourself back if you didn’t at least modify builds given to you so you can perform better.

If at least you spent just a little time to inform about how I play lookng in the answers I made before, you'd know why you have no idea on what are you talkng about
I know exactly what I am talking about. I’ve got 500+ hours on this game and I can tell you that you’re being ridiculous. And you are, you got salty over losing something in the exit gate and request an entire one sided nerf with no compromises over an item that you will lose eventually anyways.
You’re overreacting. Don’t you dare tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about, because clearly no one here agrees with you and there’s a great reason for that. There’s no defending this argument of yours because it’s a biased one sided nerf to fit YOUR ideal of what’s fun without considering everyone else.

People of this community always whine rather than confront the issue or learn how to play around it.
They farm each other in the game and then come on the forums to farm likes. Very productive individuals.

Except you can’t pip if you camp at red ranks... ever. Since you know... you lose a lot of points every 10 seconds if you’re within 16 meters of a hooked survivor and not in a chase.

that's why i said it would be a secondary, opt-in event game mode. That's only around a limited time of the year.
But likely many will look forward to.
Well you say it’s coming but there’s no news or even hints at such a possibility. So again I wouldn’t count on it.
-
I thought they have for a long time. It’s been that way since I started playing in August of 2018.
-
I don’t see it happening honestly. Everyone would find a reason to complain about how unbalanced or unfun it is. You know, because of how amazing this community is?
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if I caught members of the dead by daylight community stealing from charities.
-
You’re being ridiculous. You want a perk to be disabled in the escape phase so you can sit there and T-bag scotch free?
No, absolutely not. You aren’t entitled to anything. You lose your sacred map at the exit gates? Tough, that’s dead by daylight. You don’t need items as a survivor anyways and you can always get more. And don’t forget the killer is already feeling the sting of you escaping.
You want it that bad? Fine. In exchange, however, item usage and healing should be disabled while in the exit gates. :)
-
I didn’t know these things were unbalanced. I still don’t think they’re unbalanced.
-
What we should really be asking is, why can’t we play with as many survivors or killers as we want in kyf? Then no one would have to spectate.

What’s the point? You honestly think you’ll get an opening to escape? Even now I watch the last one on hook from 20 meters just to make sure.
I mwan do you really want to struggle? I’ve stopped playing survivor entirely recently because don how much I hate the struggle phase.

I REALLY like this idea, but the problem would be that if you get a killer that messages you and wants to farm, you could potentially farm 1 mil BP with the same person without playing a real game.
It's a victim-less crime, so to say, but it would still probably be heavily abused.
Not to mention it would be able to play the pip system and boost people.
ok. Let them bore themselves to death and farm each other and not people that are, oh, I don’t know, trying to win a match and play the game as intended?
That’s my say though.

True enough everyone has their favourite, it looks oh so wrong when you mix and match legion "parts" though. I'm happy with my generic franky-boi. Devil may care is pretty cool but I think it's fine that it's joey's unique thing. Who's your favourite btw?
Frank. Would like to have it on frank as well.

@DarkWo1f997 True, been literal years since I played, I wasn't considering alphas but again a sprint based killer didn't go down so well the first time. What would it's ability be?
I was thinking he could use his drill to cause gens to regress faster, and instantly break pallets. I was also thinking maybe he could activate a portable bloodlust tier 3 while the power is active to move faster and lunge farther.
So it’s basically a rage power that damages gens more effectively and breaks pallets as well as improves movement speed while active. When the power diminishes, movement speed is slowed by 12% for five seconds. So you cant just spam it. The power duration should only last about five to seven seconds maybe.

I too love bioshock but big daddies are way too chill, they usually only fight you if you get near their little sister or you attack first, right?
As you can see here, alpha series has zero chill. I don’t know about you, but I’d be a lot more terrified if that was sprinting towards me than a billy.

Depends on the difficulty. The AI is quite confrontational on the harder options. The alpha series were the scary ones. They went crazy and attack everything on sight no matter what it is. And the alpha series is the one from the gif. Thought that’s the protagonist from the second game, he’s still alpha series.

As much as I love Bioshock 2 (Bioshock infinite was garbage change my mind) the Big Daddies aren't really horror themed enough.
There are better licenses to acquire before this one
We don’t talk about infinite. That game was so terrible I couldn’t finish it.

I would. I think it basically reverts the healing nerf (healing another Survivor takes around 12 seconds and SC takes around 24). I always try to take Self Care and a medkit with it too so I can heal everyone (including myself) faster.
Self care is 20 seconds max with sloppy butcher. Maybe 24 with a full thanat stack but I doubt it. Default is 16 seconds. Botany (I think) brings it down to 13.
-
Jake makes me sad when I hear him limping around. :(
-
Botany and self care need to be together. So if you use one, you need the other. As it’s been confirmed that botany knowledge does improve self care speed.
-
It’s great for making AFK look like a strategy tho.
But really I think it’s a great perk for doctors. Pretending to be a decoy lol.
-
What about self care reducing Mori speed by 2000%?

Tunneling should be nerfed, AFTER generators are solved because I'm starting to see what some killer mains are talking about.
However, let's assume we went 1 year in the future and killers are finally balanced. I'll like to see a Adrenaline feature added to prevent tunneling such as:
-7% haste effect for 1 minute after being unhooked.
-Scratch marks are hidden for 1 minute after being unhooked.
-Farmers receive no bloodpoints for unsafe hooks and don't get their WGLF stacks (exception: Basement and endgame unhooks since most of the times there is no control on whether or not they are safe).
you know I had a perk idea for survivors where everyone’s scratch marks dissipate faster but yours last longer. Like a perk for people who like to play distraction.
