  • If the experience was bad it would lose players, like it already did in the past after really bad patches and killer releases, yet this didn't happen, in fact its the entire opposite.

Also no, it can't stay afloat if the experience is lost, because it's what retains players and make them spend money.

Added to that, when he selects a door to travel to the door pannel of the door he will arrive at will flicker, the ambient sound around all map will be quiet, the door will play the door opening sound, and if the door is out of sight the door closing also plays.

People really want a big alarm that tells you "springtrap is teleporting, he is going to this door specifically and you can now prerun accordingly, also here is aura too, might be harder to counterplay him without it, we would not want to make him too op"

Meanwhile ghoul and blight can do EVERYTHING springtrap does better, faster and more efficiently.

Yeah exactly, the doomposting ever since this update dropped is insane.

Also spot on about Ghoul and Blight.

  • Yes you are, the narrive you are pushing and the game actual state are two different things, the playercount it inself speaks volume.

  • It also just doesn't make any sense to support comp DBD when the game isn't even competitive viable without removing half the content it has.

  • What i miss was when Survs didn't use Windows as a crutch perk and actually had to learn how tile spawning worked, it made them way better players and overall the solo queue experience was better because of it.

Now they are so reliant on this perk that when a killer run a blind perk/addon, they don't know what to do and just die incredibly fast, same thing when they don't understand the tiles near them and run into a deadzone like idiots.

  • It does, it's on the door, and you can hear him stomping around because he's loud.

  • It must be exhausting to be this much of a doomer.

It's nowhere as bad as you are claiming.

A lot of what people are frustrated about with Springtrap comes back to him using his add on, Bonnie's guitar strings. It grants the killer the ability to see and to teleport to the gen with the most progress instead of having to hoof it across the map. It's such a powerful add on for him, a player would practically be throwing not to use it. That being said, I think it's reasonable to assume that this add on will eventually get nerfed to some extent later on down the line.

It doesn't even need a nerf, it needs a rarity change, it should be a purple or an iri.

  • Yeah it's bugged.

Yesterday and when the stats first got released it only seemed to take my PS4 stats into account, but now it's only my PC ones.

I'm guessing that they are still tweaking the site and trying to figure out why cross progression creates so many issues.

  • Yeah he's not that good, although i don't have issues getting kills with him ( So far i have 2H on him and a 84% kill rate), i still definitely notice he has a bad time at some tiles, like you said some jungle gym completely destroy him and at times you are forced to chase as a 115 M1 killer.

He's really good at punishing mistakes, but if survivors do very little of them he can feel pretty useless (Which honestly isn't a Springtrap issue but an issue with the game itself and half the killer roster in general)

You can kinda "zone" them at Shack if they get caught at the vault + pallets to either get an easy M1 or an axe hit if they panic and anim lock themselves at the window or pallet, but good survivors usually avoid getting themselves in this situation to begin with, which means that it's usually just better to leave Shack and chase someone else.

I definetly wouldn't mind some buffs, i'm really curious to see how he would work as a full on 115 killers even with the axe on.

  • I would have prefered if they straight up removed them or turned them into offerings that would ban certain maps/realms instead.

Honestly anything is better than what they used to be, so i'm fine with their current state.

  • From personal experience, both are still really good, maybe not his "Meta" addons anymore but still good.

I do think that the poster is better than the hook tho, it makes chases go faster which leads survivors to make a lot of mistakes because it makes them panic.

  • I'd rather have classic nemesis first

  • Activity HUD by far, It's been so long since it's been requested as well that it blows every other change out of the water

  • Top 5 for me would be:

1- Wesker (Balanced, fun to play and to go against)

2- No addons Hillbilly before the nerf ( He was balanced and fair at base kit, the only thing that needed nerfs were his addons and nothing else)

3- Oni ( Very fun to play but very hard to learn and master, very fun to go against and overall pretty balanced)

4- Demogorgon ( Very simple but effective, Very fun to both play and verse, might need a slight buff but overall balanced)

5- Huntress (Balanced and really fun to both play and go against, weird hitboxes sometimes but overall they're fine)

  • Idk, why are half the maps in this game still complete ass ?

My guess is that they just don't have time to nerf it...or maybe they just don't care because they have something else planned.

Or maybe they just don't care at all.

  • Why do you even care, you don't owe anyone an explanation as to why this is how you play this game, you bought it, have fun with it in whatever way you want...as long as it's not cheating

  • I usually give it to people who played well, people who get screwed over by bad matchmaking / bad teammates or if i just happen to walk near it on my way to hook the last survivor.

  • Boons are fine, it's just COH that's annoying, but like @jesterkind said, the larger problem is healings in general.

I dont want to Play every Game meta perks and that dont Change the fact that the survivor use Meta perks every Game And can good Loop. Vs me that have a Ton Rust on the shoulder. The system is Not the Same.... In the Past you wait ,Play Other Games and must Not lose every Game to Play vs Meta Gamers.

If you don't want to adapt and equip better perks, that's entirely your fault and not the survivor's, but even then, you don't need the most meta build possible to win games.

The system is pretty much the same, i played this game before the MMR introduction and nothing changed at all matchmaking wise.

You can't blame everything on rust, i only started playing game again on PC around 1 month ago after not playing for around a year and it doesn't stop me from winning 4 out of 5 games all the time, there are times where i get destroyed by really good players but it's far from common, just like it was really rare even before MMR.

I dont think so. I Play only vs over Prestige 80 Players and more. That is not the normal Player Base 🤣

Also prestige means nothing other than "this guy spent alot of BP on this character", it doesn't indicate skill.

  • I'm from the EU and for me it's always around 70 up to 100% on survivor during the day and almost always 100% on killer at night.

  • What's more likely is that it's your gameplay that's the issue and not the MMR, especially with how MMR is pretty much the exact same as the old ranking system.

What killer are you playing with what builds?

  • High MMR doesn't mean jack in this game, it's the same as old red ranks meaning that the skill level of "High MMR" is incredibly inconsistent because of how easy it is to reach it and stay there.

  • I don't dodge, i don't see the point in it.

  • Got no issues with it now that you can't use it for distance anymore, i've seen a couple of suspiciously "perfect DH" but they're very rare.

More often than not, current DH users are incredibly overconfident if they ever land it once and then die because they try way too hard to land a second one during the match, wich leads to an easy down.

But on average most survivors always miss their DH or get baited into wasting it so it feels more like a waste of a perk than anything else.

  • More than i lose on average, but there are always some days where i will sometimes die more than usual and days where i will escape every match.

  • No, let this trend game die, thanks.

rIgHt....why wait for eruption to knock u off for 30 seconds when u can just do it yourself!!

That's not how you use Repressed, you use it when the killer is going to your gen so he can't kick it and is forced to chase you.

  • They have been better on both sides for the most part altho the game still has the same issues it always had and it's that solo queue is very hard especially with the fact that MMR doesn't work, just like old ranks didn't work, so you usually get potatoes that play like bots.

But on average it's been slightly better because of the perk changes and basekit buffs.

  • A slight nerf to the incapicated timer yes, and make it counterable by Vigil.

Other than that the perk is legit fine, people just love to act like it's way stronger than it actually is.

  • Unironically, Repressed Alliance works very well to prevent killers from ever using it.

Blast mine can also make them waste double the time the would usually waste kicking it.

  • Not really, if anything it makes games easier for Killers because Survivors with flashlights love to throw the entire game just for a flashlight save...that they fail anyways, so i'm glad they "buffed" them.

  • I used to have quite a similar fear / anxiety at first, but it only really goes away by playing the game.

Don't focus on winning and just try to learn the killers the like and the way to play them and how to play most tiles, this help immensly.

  • If you got into a 3 gen situation, it's pretty much your fault and / or your team's fault.

I know it sucks when it happens but that's just how the game is, 3 gen has always been a strategy for killers and after so many years i'm baffled that survivors still let it happen to them.

  • I'm definetly having way more fun now than before, and i started at around Doctor's release.

The game is far from perfect tho, still has a couple of very annoying issues but more than half of this game problems comes from the community rather than the game itself.

  • I'd rather have Eruption than whatever old ruin was supposed to be.

Altho it is annoying to have to pick a perk to counter another, this way has been this way for awhile now and it's not going to change, the best way to counter Eruption is just to run Represed alliance and poping it on any gens the killer tries to kick.

  • Nah but purely because i hate kicking gens

  • It's an outdated mechanic, hopefully he gets some polish soonish because he really needs it

  • Always been the case , and it's not going to get any better.

It seems they don't understand that the unknown is what makes stuff scary...and not explaining things and retconning stuff for no good reason

  • Killed two dudes with it but they didn't even know what they were even doing because MMR ######### them over so......yeah it does absolutely nothing against average players.

As a surv i don't think i ever needed to reset the curse unless i was actively trying to stack alot of it.

  • Havent played her enough to be confident on how i would place her against others killers but she's definetly way weaker than all the other M1 killers.

She needs lots of information to make uses of her TV's , which she doesn't have basekit so it's hard to use them unless you use perks for that.

She apparently has two very good Brown addons that make her plays around pallets easier but survivors can just hold W like they do with pig when she tries MiNdGaMeS sooooo....yeah...

  • Wait he's good now? I tought everyone called him trash months ago? Also i never see him so i have no idea how he is to go against.

  • You can get -rep for anything ever, it's meaningless.

Still doing this on last gen? I gave the game a go on my launch day xbox one and ps4 just for fun when they launched nemesis... it was awful.

Ayup, altho it's definetly not as common as it used to be, but the fact that it still happens is really annoying.

  • I'd still play the game as much as now, which isn't alot so it's not going to bother me as much.

I might even play more because it would mean i would face less generic unimaginative meta builds.

  • It takes her awhile to actually jumpscare you , it seems to be on a very long timer, she also has a very obvious tell when she slowly raise up before doing it so it's not that bad.

An option would be nice i guess but since it took them so long to add some accessibility settings, i doubt they would add this anytime soon.

  • All of my main played killers and actual main are "bad killers" so yes, i do.

It's a pretty common thing as well tbh, most of the bad killers have the most interesting/fun powers to use.

  • She gets a speed boost when using a TV and one of her addon make it last longer.

Also she's very smol and it might make it seems like she's faster than she is, kinda just like how some small killers looks like they have a longer lunge than other killers.
