Move along people.

Crossplay is irrelevant, it's possible to hack on console, it's not a safe heaven.
It's less likely but still possible, ive seen my fair share of PS4 players with Infinite sprint burst speed and the likes.
The real issue is more of BHVR not doing much about it.
-
I would but they're unlikely to happen cuz bhvr

Chains already do respawn if breaking by the environment. Impaling Wires just spawns an extra chain.
The respawning chains do nothing since survivors can just immediately run after the chain breaks and it's basically impossible for the chains to hit survivors running.
Yeah they do, i just mean they should act like this Addon at base.
They don't always work, i agree, it's more or a " Spam more chains until it works" kinda thing now that you mention it, they really should increase the passive chains accuracy lol

The thing is Pinhead stops moving to chain survivors whereas Clown can move while throwing a bottle. Plus Doctor already prevents survivors from throwing a pallet or even vaulting so I don't see how it would be too oppressive.
Chains with how they currently are, are too easy to break and too easy to ignore as a survivor. Not to mention that unlike Deathslinger's chain that keeps the stun effect on the survivor for a short while after deathslinger breaks the chain for a lunge, survivors can immediately start running once the last chain breaks. This means they could sprint burst or dead hard immediately upon the chain breaking which is a huge slap in the face for the effort it took to setup the chain in the first place. Plus Pinhead sometimes is forced to break his own chains as well.
Yeah i know, but in that scenario that OP talked about, it doesn't matter if Pinhead stops moving, since the surv is camping the pallet, and honestly from how ive been playing him so far, him not moving isn't that big of a deal except at some very strong loops, but it feels more like it's an issue with the chains breaking easily than him coming to a dead stop.
I agree about everything else, i think they should just respawn if broken by the environnement ( Basically the Impaling wires Addon) and that he shouldn't break them if he touches them himself, rather they should phase trough him OR respawn like Impaling wires.

Neither, i'm still getting way too many one sided matches altho far less than before this system.
Overall on average my matches seem to be better but not by much, but enough that it's noticeable.
For now i'll just wait, systems like this are WIP especially if it's BHVR that handles it.
-
Probably would make him way too oppressive even at safe loops, as he would get free hits from it.
Honestly im fine with them being able to drop pallets this way, makes them stuck in the animation so i can get hits in, it's also really nice to force pallet drops kinda like clown to get rid of troublesome pallets early.
-
He's not that bad, he's got some interesting tricks up his sleeve, but that alone doesn't make him good either, he's just average at best.
-
From my experience after playing him, usually when i'm carrying someone so i can't interrupt them, sometimes during chases as well because the heartbeat sound and visual sfx is incredibly annoying during chases and makes survivors almost silent with how loud it is.
-
On the weaker side if you don't focus down the box, bit stronger if you defend the box.
Also he gets completly cucked of hits if people run deadhard, again maybe it was lag/bugs but lots of people deadhard when chained which makes the power a waste of time on basically any decent surv because everyone and their mothers runs it.
-
Huh? His mori is pretty tame imo.
Still love it tho.
-
It's decent but nothing impressive imo.
-
Not care because i don't play them.
-
Camping from the first Hook or a killer at endgame securing a kill ?
Need more context.
-
Inconsistent, either i get 3 really good survs ( SWF or just good randoms ? ) And 1 potato/Decent surv, or 2 very very good survivor and 2 potatos.
When it's 3, i just lose by default because i'm rusty as hell when it's about playing loops correctly unless they massively fuckup, very sweaty matches when it happens and can be fun or unfun depending on the map / Skill difference
When it's 2 decent players and 2 potatos it's usually a 3/4K, they're usually the most fun matches altho they can be boring if the potatos have no idea what they're doing.
-
Yup, welcome to SBMM in asym games, it's only going to get worse the better you play, you gain nothing other than pain...i guess releasing the Hellraiser chapter at the same time had to be on purpose.
-
I don't see many différences , it's almost the same thing to me.
Only difference is that i usually get 2 potatos and either 2 decent solos or a 2 man SWF playing way better than both me and the potatos, which makes no sense...my guess is that SWF taking the average of all players might impact the system alot more than it should.
-
Playing 9 hooks as killer and getting in as many chases as possible because that's the only time the game becomes fun.
Also just playing whatever killer with whatever build i feel like using.
-
He's really fun and i think he has a really high Skill ceiling , i'm pretty sure his power can be used in very creative ways but i need to experiment with him more .

There is no slowdown or pressure at higher ranks. You hold Shift+W and Right Click at the same time and you're free and even have enough time to vault or stun 90% of the time. If anything small it should atleast QOL update to make the chains hold longer or hinder the survivor a little more
They shouldnt even hold longer imo, impaling wires should just be basekit, they're way too easy to break.
-
Impaling wires and greasy black lens as basekit ( maybe slightly nerfed if he's too strong that way).
I don't think he needs much more , he just feels so smooth to play with thoses two addons.
Maybe a nerfed version of Iri puzzle box as basekit but it might be too much ontop of what i suggested.

It doesn't even super take a box build, my build has consisted of plaything, retribution, deadlock, and lethal. It is just about awareness of survivors and their location. Also something I haven't seen yet, but the box has set spawn areas for maps. I played a couple matches on Hawkins, and I realized the box always spawned in similar areas at the start, so I could go start it instantly. The addons I used were range ones, because then you can reach the box solver from farther away and stop the solving. With hoarder and even Franklin's, it makes this even stronger.
I'll check this out, this sounds interesting, also retribution+plaything is nasty yeah.

He is only on the weaker side if you are just trying to play an m1 pinhead and trying to only play with his m2 power. His playstyle should be trying to keep chain hunt going as long as possible. People keep ignoring the box and expecting his strongest thing to just keep activating by itself. Play defensive of it and intercept solving. Don't complain about chain hunt but then do nothing to help begin it, it is supposed to be a battle for it, if you leave it alone survivors are just gonna disable it. Survivors are only in control of your power if you ignore a large part of your power
That's what i just said, he's weak without addons because you can't play into his potential until you use addons, you need decent addons to play a Box centric build or at least the Hoarder perk.
Base he's weak, with addons / box build he can be nasty.
-
Mine's really inconsistent and i usually get 2 swearlords and 2 absolute potatos soooo i have no idea what's going on.
-
He's definetly going to take a bit to get used to but he's still on the weaker side without addons.
With impaling wires tho he's REALLY scary.
-
Yes and no, it seems footsteps are slightly fixed depending on what survivors walks on, but it seems generators are still having issues, i had a game recently where i coudn't hear a gen when i was in the Silo when it was almost finished and it popped, it's really weird.

Having zombies that can do the dirty work for him. All you need is a very inconvenient moment and not hearing a zombie around the corner to get infected, damaged or even downed. Let alone that his zombies can fully counter a DS, can facecamp for him, give info on where survivors are(aka, giving Nemesis quick chases), let alone that T2 Nemesis has by far the best pallet breaking mechanic, and it's easier to hit T2 as Nemesis than Myers.
And that's just basekit Nemesis, ignoring perks and addons.
Myers is still an m1 killer with his only source of damage being his m1. He cannot break pallets faster, he doesnt have a way of getting information on survivors that arent already in his vision, and even his vault speed, which is his best asset, is often still slower than just walking around.
I could play Nemesis with 0 perks and addons, and still get consistent 2k's in red ranks, possibly even 4k's if im willing to tunnel someone out early on.
I cant play Myers with 0 perks and addons, and even though I might still get 2k's, they wont be consistent, where 4k's would be extremely rare and those games would be where I managed to stalk a survivor from a very sneaky angle without them even suspecting a thing.
Myers doesnt have his instadown available when he wants, he needs to work for it, let alone that it will take quite some time to regain it once he lost it. Nemesis will have his pallet breaking available the moment he hits 1 survivor and 2 zombies. Deadzones leading to consistent hooks>>>>>getting maybe 1-2 hooks because survivors were impatient.
No offense but no thanks
-
Pig overall, but Nemesis can be the weakest depending on the map, because there's lots of weird hitboxes that completly block his tentacle hitbox which makes him a M1 killer with zombies.
Myers at least has a oneshot and faster vault speed in tier 3, and pig has slowdown, both of which works on any maps.
-
Legion
They're still far from top tier or being even very good, but lots of people heavily underestimate them.
-
Hard to aim with a stick without any good controller settings, that's mostly why.
Same reason why it's so easy to spin controller killers as well, on top of bad performances.
-
I'll try to burn the pallet but thats it, really depends on the killer and what stage the match is tho
-
If the stars align he has crazy down speed as long as you're on PC and are good at aiming projectile and tracking.
Otherwise he's still as bad as he used to be, some can argue he's worst since he has less total ammo and can't spam until he gets a down anymore...
-
You need to drop pallet early but even then it heavily depends on teammates as well because he's one of the best pubstomper in the game, he just shreds randoms.
-
They also need to make so both sens are equal because currently Horizontal sens is faster than Vertical and it's really annoying and clunky.
-
It's been like this for awhile since Dedicated servers became a thing, at least from my experience, pallet stun range is very inconsistent depending on both players ping.
-
Unoriginal builds and meta slaves, it's just boring after awhile.
-
Last patch broke some stuff again, getting lots of freezes when survs fast vault windows now, and overall stutter issues are back altho not when using powers this time, but it seems everything that create a noise bubble can and usually will freeze the game.
-
Slightly less sweats than usual for me, but that's it.
-
I feel the opposite, like his tentacle hitbox is too small and inconsistent especially at angles... whatever side i play btw.
-
Hag, Twins, spirit.
-
On a good day when the game decides to not make every surface lubed up, he's pretty strong, even better with addons.
-
She looks better than she used to,it seems lots of people fail to realise she's not supposed to be a supermodel and that everyone has angles that make them look "uglier" than they are.
-
Bad Aim, Bad memory for how to play tiles and i easily get spun.

Did the latest update really helped last gen console performance? Or its better for some, same for others?
I'm on base ps4 and it fixed most stutters issues, they still happen sometimes depending on the map and what's happening, deadhard still freezes the game but not as often as before.
The framerate is still terrible tho but it's slightly better than before altho it's really Map dependant.
-
Strafe aiming for the most part, i don't bother trying to control recoil as it's not worth it with a controller.
Also stay away from faster throwing addons, they're only good if you can hit your Knives and with how hard it is on console it usually feels like a downside to have.
I keep my sens at around 40 so i can M1 chases, i only correct my aim by strafing because it's impossible to do with the right stick with how awful the stick deadzone is in this game.
-
Lookin like a snack tbh
-
Oni, Michael, PH, Legion, Billy and nurse as long as she isn't way way better than me and i have a fighting chance.
-
Could explain why i was so confused during chases yesterday but then again scratchmarks have always been weird as hell so who knows
-
I'm on base ps4 and the issues are fixed for the most part, stutters happens very rarely ( or only on certain maps) OR if someone uses dead hard, and even then not every deadhard freezes the game for some reason.
-
Yeah he's not op, he gets ######### by most maps and most loops, he's only really good out in the open if you aren't on controller and can actually aim.
