How do Doctors keep seeing people??

It seems to not fail, from almost any distance a dirt basic doctor, no aura perks (usually just overcharge), no addons, no offerings can zero in on people like a homing missile. No screams, no static, no direct line of sight.
It's frustrating Not calling for a nerf, or anything, I would just like some understanding.

  • In my experience, when people see doctor they tend to be a lot more lax about making their positions known.
  • Doc gets illusionary doctors which give the doctor a general direction of where you are as a survivor. Obviously screaming gives you away and a good doc will always check lockers every once in a while to make sure no survivors are hiding from his static field. Stealth is incredibly weak against doc but looping is very strong against him. If your facing doc drop pallets a little earlier if hes charging the stun and loop'em like a normal killer. Also try to avoid letting him 3 gen strat you. its a docs favorite strat. Hes pretty low tier and in my personal experience his attack with his weapon is kinda wonky so often enough you will see them overestimate their range or fk up their swing.

This. Most people when they see a Doc coming just run, no ands ifs or buts. It may seem like they know you're there, but most times survivors reveal themselves by bolting out of hiding like a scared animal being hunted.

In my experiance these survivours are smarter. Why take the risk of assumung a killer dosent see you or the crow you triggered 5 seconds ago. Leatherface is hilariously powerful against immersed survivours who assume that you havent seen them.

    She said: no Add-ons.

Illusionary Doctors are a thing without Add-ons, but he only sees their Aura if Survivors are on Madness III in that case.

  • I'm going to give away a big Killer secret: Survivors are not as good at stealth as they think they are. Many times when you think you "got away" or "evaded" Killers, the truth is, they saw you and just didn't think you were worth chasing.

Or are pretending they didnt see you by walking at an angle that suggests they dont know where you are so they can immediatly turn around once the gap has been closed a bit and punish.

This is exactly what I do. I’ll act like I didn’t see them, but when I get close enough, I’ll swing at them. I’m very surprised that I haven’t gotten any hacker accusations from that.

Have you been eating your apples?

"An apple a day keeps the Doctor away."
