i quit after the legion chapter came out and came back at the end of the twins chapter. the shard grind for actually nice cosmetics was too much for me. felt like it kept pushing me to make dumb purchases. then i heard a battlepass coming and was like nope. the fact dbd has a 10$ battlepass and all these 10-15$ cool cosmetics. kinda makes me think the game itself should be free.
i also got butthurt what they did to some of my favourite licensed killers. im a horror fangirl and i get technical on certain killers. i want my amanda (pig) to be able to cheat. i also wanted ghostface to not be half the license. it hurt they promoted alot of the content in the style of scream and it didnt come with the outfit or a survivor. i would of been happier if was a scary movie ghostface reveal then just the mask.
i can only come back cause roomate is gonna make sure i wander into the store for auric cells. im poor and i need to save away but i want to enjoy the game again. plus with more licensed content im fine that some killer are just weak representations. freddy used to be a weak representation but i enjoy him now.

i feel reading that and seeing only a vote up option. Glad to be in deathgarden forums sure its dead forum but we can make polls and have a full range of choices. The other behaviour team is a great team letting us express ourselves all over the place. Really miss vote downs expressing unhappiness in posts and each subforums having own communities felt pretty magical. Killer community felt like people full of love for killers in horror genre. Survivors section felt like survival genre loving gamers that enjoyed being able to talk about how had fun goofing around on killers.

I can't wait to try it next thursday also. I think its good to stay in contact with wonderful people in this community. Hope people i know come check out this game also. This coming thursday will be amazing. Glad this game has you not looking back with gameplay. Probally gonna feel the same way after play open to everyone beta.

This whale of dbd supporter has to go before they make me poorer then already am. I will probally stay in touch with forums and twitter. Cause no matter what outside says don't think community is toxic on here just full of passionate loving fans. But i don't believe in supporting game no more like i did on day one 3 years ago.

honestly check out Gold Express. I was lucky enough to play test it this last week and my god its miles better then DbD is in its first alpha test in every single aspect to it.

Hunter feels strong and that they don't look at them as unimportant. They don't show favouritism to a side maybe hunter from runners side.
Runner feels fun with powers specially new runner dash. Its like a meg that has arrows that give people sprint burst. They can hide easily in the bushes so they can be strong if stealthy.
Leveling up has you playing different ways with objective leveling but also isn't a grind chore.
It is well worth getting as a top quality early acess product.
Suprised it keeps the title of early access but i guess they want to give the right amount of content.

Jason is possible learned from lawsuit from larry zelner that could call your killer vorhees and it be legal. Also learned from ghostface that if get licensed mask and alter the outfit can add in any icon.
Chucky could work if you put charles lee ray soul behind the doll to do the heavy lifting animations like breaking pallets and picking up survivor. With voodoo magic they have made almost anything possible in franchise.
Think chucky be better suited in a different enviromental kill game. Since he is small could slip through vents and set things off in home alone death house. Plus in same game could play as death and add final destination enviromental kills. Jigsaw would work great with same formula.

I think with balance and nerfing maybe a game could buff the stuff around the strongest thing. So you don't hear things like nerfs at all. Know that makes a bigger task but then you please both sides with them feeling added something to there game.
Also found ghostface unessential with legion specially since they had this funworld license for a year. The fact they didn't get other half of license this year and are now releasing it is to profit off franchise. Also worries me about dbd future cause whats stopping them from looking for a cheap hockey mask licenser and calling him vorhees. That is 100% copyright legal as long as character is not called jason. I think only way i could accept bootleg ghostface if it was the iconic bootleg ghostface from scary movie. Also would need survivor to be doofy or cindy from the movie.
You said don't comment ......but the 250+ hour gameplay grind for a nice cosmetic thought be fixed with archives. I was so mad it was a battlepass. And some may say its not called that but it acts and functions like one. That is really only acceptable in a free 2 play market cause then its just greed on top of it. So if dbd isn't free 2 play then they belong with the great ea and activision cause this is a tactic that those companies love :D New players buy your base game then dlc afterwards then they have a cosmetic shop which outfits cost more than chapters. Those prices then can make the premium battlepass track seem more enticing.
I think alot of people have forgotten dbd has used Red shell spyware on us. Yes they told us they removed it but at the same time. It displays what kind of marketing campaigns a gamer interacted with before playing the game. If there putting in shady stuff its because they know we will swallow it. Whatever it told them with red shell probally conveyed to them that.

oh your talking about that hint. Damn i thought would be talking about the ghostface tweet he left a year ago. I have been trying to find the tweet where he says gave them his license but have to wait and see what happens with other license. I really want this tweet to expose they have been holding on to funworld side of license for at least a year.

I like your addons cause really relates to the character.
It be intresting if she also on top of this have a wish for a broken key add-on that made you have to find two halves of a key in jigsaw boxes.

As a fan of slasher thought one of bads would be that he is bootleg of scream brand.They had this license confirmed for close to a year. It annoys me they didn't get 2nd license to make character complete so they shove this dlc out. Why sit on it for so long if releasing it this way and why give us legion.

This is what i thought would happen. This is not a scream chapter so they have to do nothing but follow own original character.
I know its silly but ghost face is the mask and there using it cause they know people won't understand difference in space. Ghostface is licensed killer but mask is a license and ghost face is the original bhvr name for killer. By splitting word made it a whole another entity. They could get a hockey mask license and call the killer vorhees without ever having to get brand.

The Dream Snares is literally from the first film where Nancy is trying to run up the stairs and they turn into mud and she has climb up them very slowly while Freddy is on her tale. it is amazing rework and this makes up for getting inaccurate quentin and not nancy. Guess he does have little boy face but they made him so ugly. Also was sad not original freddy because need to work with robert englund to use his likeness. (Hired for voice work) Now all those little things are nothing cause this is krueger in the flesh. Everyone who avoided game cause of krueger will have to be happy there killer got justice to his brand.

i just want 1 horror icon be ruined right now. Not happy ghostface and new pig are just awful comparisons to there franchises. Freddy is looking better but we should have that much care to brand in all licensed killers.
Feel some killers get the treatment of goombas in live action mario movie.

The worry of breaking licensed killers and just aquiring a mask license has me worried. Whats to stop them from a hockey mask licensed content. Also whats to stop them from taking your personal favourite killer and making them bad. Then can have half community not understanding why don't like your favourite killer.

Its only a killer and not the one from scream but a mask creator. Also they had this mask license 8+ months ago when the licenser talked about it. He said they were working on getting 2nd license. Since its only this licenser guess never got scream and still thought make a nice cash grab.
Classic profitable bait and switch tatics that consumers can tend to fall for. Sorry been playing shakedown hawaii and enjoying all the things companies do to never benefit the consumer. In the end it is all about those margin bhvr can make and instead of holding off. Why not profit for the horror icon face. Heck if you can get hockey mask licenser can add in a jason mask killer also.

This is what they call the claudette cosmetic. Also they can't remove the mask or they will piss of amanda young fans even more then they have. I think by clipping under mask it reveals its meg under that mask.
Hey speaking of stealthy cosmetics why not do a black pig head.
This would of been perfect to go with john kramer inspired cosmetic. Either that or give johns mask he used on her ex bf.

Amanda's Letter changes - Yep, this looks pretty good to me.
Very Rare/Ultra Rare add-on giving 2 extra traps - Ehhhhhh. I wouldn't even think this is a worthwhile add-on normally, but with the Pig's nerf in 2.7.0, I think this has a very real chance of going to waste.
why sell the character if not faithful to movies. They could just make the killer original instead. If you add a leatherface but not faithful to movies why did you get him. Might as well said forever hillbilly is your chainsaw killer. Ghostface if has nothing to do with movies might as well be legion. Same with pig if she doesn't play like her movies why not have own character. And also why bundle a movie with the same dlc if you don't want the franchise be represented. Don't sell the movie with it especially if you don't care about source material. That is what bad remakes do for what in the industry is called "cash grab" and using a character wieght to push your product value up.
Video game movies do this to us consumers all the time and the original source material is ######### on. Dbd in general with this attitude pushes horror fans away looking at game as something horror posers play. But thats because freddy was a shallow joke of himself. I never liked that horror community lumped us with slenderman and fnaf games that have jaded looks on horror. But if one doesn't care about source material than that is a jaded look that goes well with praising the sonic the hedgehog trailer.

if its free 2 play go ahead but it is not. Bhvr doing it for greed like what they did with the grind and overpriced cosmetics. 50% of community will support this because they will let them draw the line. The line will be crossed over and over until don't reckognize the project from when first bought it. Many people tried to hold them accountable to ######### actions but fanboys and girls won with there shallow puppy love of product. I'm just here to laugh like an evil villain and predict the next evolution.
"Once the battlepass is accepted so easily we will then implement the lootbox. But we will call them death hooks and can buy hooks in shop to open up. Since its not a box our whole audience won't even realize what we created. Bwhahahaha drown in those ######### dev practices and realize you want to buy lootboxes just to get a claudette voiceline of "lets get jiggy with it"
I really wish our community was like star wars battlefront and for honor cause made positive changes to there games. Feel if we had a overarching opinion in community we create real change also.

i love when people tell someone to play another killer as solution. Its like going into game 3ds majoras mask and realizing hd zora sucks compared to n64 one. So might as well just play as a goron or deku the whole game. I mean can still beat it with goron shouldn't enjoy all aspects of a game you own.

Some bought amanda cause played like amanda. Some bought for balanced killer to play like other original killers. They felt like only removing and giving both sides nothing.

I do want a power out of this world like how araki thinks. Real out the box thinking killers. Like maybe a shadow that cannot be seen like freddy. But he then becomes that survivors shadow to create a shadow clone killer of survivor.
But this character make be psychotic in jojo but his power is piss poor if not in a helicopter. Easy way to play him is to just stand on a hill or upstairs. Also would get rid of basement touching at any time. Fact you have to be a lower ground from him to start molding to death is only a good situational power.

I would take some nerfs if we could do this. This would be a fun rework and set him apart from spirit. I just associate his invisibility uncloaking as less fun.

The nerf was rly hard. Its ok , if you nerf the RBT only a little bit in the endgame. But delete a complete killer ability is not a good solution.

By the stream i watched today. Doubt it whole heartidly cause they went over a good idea. Said they thought about it but survivors too dumb to deal with 2 timers. So this is the ultimate change there sinking teeth into. One good thing about this change is improving skills in sekiro. But sadly that doesn't benifit all the pig mains.

They destroyed pig and showed me cringy selfie version of ghostface. I have zero faith in there ability to deliver proper licensed killers. Gonna look elsewhere for respectful tributes of characters. I really thought a game about embodying roles as killers would get there personalities right. But they don't care about characters just selling you another original killer. Don't need ghostface, jason, or leatherface cause there already in original roster. Plus if there not 100% commited to character they will make them awful.
Horror fans have been saying were fake horror posers in dbd community. I always hated them saying that with strong killers like pig in immersiveness. But im starting to believe those people were right. Noone cares about the character being themselves and more if they play well. I have given up on dbd and been here since the alpha.
I just wish they stuck to original killers and didn't destroy love for these horror icons. I still love them in movies but in games they get zero care and respect. I really hope they don't touch candyman or any other killers cause just gonna take a piss on the franchises. We have enough of creators doing that in the franchise itself. But to have a game that is proud of making ######### tier horror icons. Is a bigger load of garbage compared to making all killers weak to survivors. Always thought making killers weak was dbd biggest issue but making killers not go with the iconic roles is mine.
I hope all these killers get own games where they get some respect cause bhvr is sure not caring to lend some.

Legion power seems anti exhaustion perks. Either than that he just seems like a base killer. Think hes not weak but probally not entertaining.

I think i remember seeing him chase someone twice when switching channels a few years ago, but that's it.
Well if check out the movies sometime. Won't regret it since it was the base of alot of horror to come. Tv series isn't bad except for protagonist. Kinda wish she be survivor of chapter cause love for ghostface to kill her. Movie series also has ultimate final girl title among many horror fans. Supporting cast is better in tv series but movies better cause protagonist is strong. Very good watch to see where all the horror tropes and cliches really came from. Ghostface is kinda an icon not because best killer but he inspired so many movies to try to copy him.

Im worried it will be dark times for licensed killers. But will be happy if not just the mask license. Some support its not that and other signs point to that. Want a scream chapter and not a mask chapter. Legion was already that mask chapter for me.
