Yea I saw that killer come out months ago and was taking a break from the game at the time but I just thought to myself who the hell would want to play that killer lol.
-
The reality of the situation is that the killer is throwing the match for one kill. It doesn't reward bad gameplay at all in that case. Because they only get 1 kill. The counter is for your team to just play well and get out, the killer will eventually learn that this strategy doesn't work as a result. It's unfortunate for you but overall you are helping your team get out and the killer will only have one kill. It's fine.
Also I'd just use DS if this is a common occurrence for you. Some might view the perk in this or that way but playing to win is nothing to be ashamed of.
-
Good for you. Weird that you didn't just care about your own fun from the start though. People will use their own stuff that they find fun. You should to have fun.
-
If you activate the exit gates with 4 people alive and you somehow manage to all four die then that is 100% your fault. Multiple methods of counterplay were available. Sacrificing a team mate and escaping with 3 people, cleansing totems, not being greedy.
-
Killers can already open the doors. I personally think it's fine.
-
Not a really popular opinion but a mix of nostalgia and the fun I had with friends made that game so wonderful for me. You could have way more friends in one game, multiple objectives. Jason was fun to play and could wreck if you were experienced with the shift learning curve. I left dead by daylight for F13 at the time. Dead By Daylight is still a great game, don't get me wrong that's why I still play it. But depending on the content added in F13 if the lawsuit didn't happen. I might have played F13 a little more.
-
For all the games flaws, I always come back to it. I really like this game. While it isn't perfect by any means at all. They have attempted to improve the game over the years and they deserve at least a bit of credit for that.
-
Ranch because....Mustard sucks and I only really use ketchup for potatoes. I use ranch for a wide variety of things by comparison.
-
No I personally think dead hard is the strongest perk in the game from my use of it at least. Then there is OoO if you are in a SWF. I could probably name multiple others as well, but the thing is DS is usually almost always completely avoidable except for niche situations which makes it way weaker than perks like DH or OoO.
-
Nope I've been getting corn and autohaven. Badham is kinda yucky in my opinion anyways.
-
Yea, unless something has changed. Killer instinct does reveal you inside of lockers.
-
You shouldn't be banned for that I think, at least. Since you didn't really take the game hostage. You trapped dwight in a corner knowing that two gens would pop and you had your rancor. You took advantage of that. Scummy by some standards? Probably. But not bannable.
-
Why not try to improve instead may I ask? Going up against people who are more skilled than you usually for me at least, leads to me getting better at the game and being at the same level of play as the people that once intimidated me. I know it can be frustrating and tilting at times to lose but, you might as well try to get better. Leatherface camping won't help you improve, but trying to play the game like you usually do will. You'll get better and learn and be able to get good games at red ranks as well if you just try.
-
Things like that happen, you shouldn't DC when you are already being mori'd anyways. You are legitimately just punishing yourself when you do that because you aren't really effecting the killer in any serious way. It's sucky when stuff like that happens I know, but it's best to just move on from it.
-
Use things like DS and if nothing else just run the killer for the entire game you won't get out but your teamates surely will and that should be a win in your book. Or you could also try playing more immersive so you don't get caught first if that's the problem. Also they aren't "scrubby" because they tunneled you. They are just playing the game the way they want to play it. I assume you wouldn't let anyone tell you how to play the game either. There are counters to being tunneled.
-
You must be really understanding OP, most people probably would have lol'd at him. If I were you I would try engaging him further, but if he tells you to leave him alone, leave him alone. There's sadly not much you can do but try to talk to him.
-
Burnout happens, if you aren't enjoying the game you should take a break. It's healthy for you, trust me you'll probably come back to the game after a moderate break from it.

Thank you, the question was rhetorical. You just answered it. If you can't conceptualize the idea or describe how it might work, isn't this a silly thing to discuss?
I've tried to point out why it would not be healthy for the game (it would fundamentally move every goalpost we currently have, and necessitate unforeseeable changes to so many other things), so now it is on you to form a counter-position that amounts to more than "that would be cool."
It would require adding a plethora of new game mechanics as well, and that would be a lot of wasted game development time for something that many players probably wouldn't like. Survivors have never been able to ever really fight back in the game anyways so it doesn't make sense with its theme. The entity would most likely stop the survivors from fighting back in a significant way the second they tried it. It just seems like you'd have to invent a ton of new game mechanics that would probably not even fit the game.
-
The game is never going to be perfect, I don't think anyone expects that. But I think the devs are trying their best to improve the game at least and there has been many changes since last you played. So I'd say give it a try, if you like it then stay.
-
It's not very difficult to kill Jason in F13 for one. And for second I don't feel it would fit in the game in any possible way. It wouldn't be fun for the killer at all, especially if they aren't having a fun game. It would require multiple new game mechanics and would only really be pulled off by highly coordinated SWF. Which already isn't fun to deal with.
-
Some of those vault hits might actually be fair hits. But it's also likely to be dedicated servers, which isn't related to anything being killer sided at all. As for the loops being taken out. Most of those loops are insanely long loops and taking them out is in no way "killer sided".
-
Nope, you have to deal with spirit's Waluigi sound effects.
-
I haven't been on the forums awhile....but isn't stretched res a controversial topic right now and considered cheating by some and is looked down upon? I could be wrong though, don't quote me on it.
-
You can disable it by cleansing the totems. It encourages you to do those dull totems. You even get points for them. Do totems when you see them and gens and you should be good to go :D
-
Just another day of DBD :/
-
I haven't seen a decline in survivors at all personally. The game is stable as it has been. People will always claim that Killers/Survivors are leaving en mass. Though would you like to say why you and your friends are unhappy?
-
Legion is in jail what in the world happened while I was gone?!
-
Huh, couldn't have said it better myself. Thought I was gonna come in here explaining that a purpose of a company is to make a product and make money. I am pleasantly surprised.
-
She has some of the most hated perks in the game by some sadly. Yes that is enough reason for some people to target you.
-
We still talking about this key issue, yet the easiest solution is to use your offering to negate chests. Really, they aren't that hard to find.
-
No item can inherently be toxic to be honest.
-
Hope you find another game you like.
-
If they talk to me in post chat and have some "frustrations" I'll try to be nice, if they message me on my steam profile I just don't respond. I've started to learn that honestly the people that give you hate mail are usually just very frustrated with the game ect and probably (hopefully) regret what they said after they're done raging over a game that they will probably never even remember a day later.
-
Did a necromancer esk killer just release?
-
I see where your coming from but, sounds can be pretty inconsistent especially when there is a wall ect in between you and the survivor.
-
Well....
I'm 16 years old
I don't have a favorite color
I have a number of hours in DBD that probably isn't healthy
I mentioned this one before but might as well mention it again I'm a recent survivor of a cancer diagnosis I got a few years back the odds were in favor of me not surviving but well....I'm here today! So for those of you going through something rough like that don't lose hope anything can happen!
Oh, also I'm interested in Astronomy and cosmology probably wanting one of my careers to involve something along those lines for those who care.

Face Camping is joke punishment. I think we should object them to watching 2 girls 1 cup while having to listen to Baby by Justin Biber for 90 hours straight
-
To amend the first issue I suggest giving the crows the ability to become empowered by the entity where the crows will then instant down survivors and carry them to hooks or for killers stun them for 5 minutes when they get spooked! The pig shall now have their cute oink as their dash sound so people will not slam her head! However if you still insist on dropping a pallet on the pig Bubba will join the chat and subject you to basement face camping. Do the rest of you find this acceptable? (Also why in tar nation is this in general discussion LOL)
-
Does that mean the unofficial "features" are coming too?!
-
Honestly, I can't name many stereotypes to be honest all of them seem to have a fairly mixed amount of peeps.
-
It is, there are no rules against slugging and it is a strategy. Dunno how far it will get you depending on your killer and build but go for it. Might get some hate but that's just the game people will get frustrated and frustrations leads to rants or people sending you messages they would otherwise regret.
-
I find that I too have a satisfying experience playing killer and if I am not having a satisfying experience I just switch to survivor rinse and repeat.
-
Sorry but...Why are we complaining about physics in a game like DBD? It's not known for it's realism
-
Doctor or any mind manipulation killer is what freaks me out the most because your perception of reality is twisted, you can't hide you have no idea what is real and what is not and have no way to fight back whatever is happening inside your mind effectively.

Will you Minister of the Environment: @KillermainBTWm8 make the poll and quote all the people in this Meetup? In order to see the results?
Hmmmm not at this moment but you can be assured that it will come s00n

As this falls under the purview of your ministry, you have authority over this unless The Senate overrules you or your orders contradict a ruling of The Senate.
I see, I will make a mental note of that!

We also have a pig that needs to be protected. It is now illegal to scare any wildlife in the fog, everyone else will get punished by getting 20 pallet stuns and 30 flashlight blinds. Do you agree?
Yes, that sounds reasonable however it is up to the polls to decide such a thing as well!

I wish to make you Minister of the Environment. Is this agreeable to you?
It is indeed!

Even if you were a spy, you would still be entitled to your privileges as a Senator. To prevent many of the problems with democracy and ensure everyone is represented, everyone is a Senator representing and elected by themselves.
Very well, I shall speak my mind then! As you may know, the fog has many places that consist of what we would consider the "outdoors" and in these places there are generators. What do most generators run off of well gas and various other fumes! Not only do these generators effect the plant life they also effect the animals! For example there is an extremely noticeable animal that exists in the fog.....It is known as the Crow! These crows are subject to many dangers, the survivors scare them off constantly giving them panic attacks! The generators may cause electrical fires and they also release fumes as stated before! The constant need for the repair of generators indicates that these survivors often leave these generators on before they need repaired. Something that is not acceptable. Therefore I suggest that we have laws about how we can help to protect nature and wildlife in the Fog!

I think we need a Director of Research and Development. Chainsaw proof body armor, portable salt cannons, and affordable hover tanks are all going to be needed once BHVR starts considering us a real threat.
Do you not yet have a declaration of independence with a list of grievances yet?!

Fellow citizen, you do not need to hide! As per Article IV, you are entitled to represent yourself as a Senator of the Fog! We wish to hear your thoughts and opinions!
But I am
a spy sent to systematically attempt to shut down this attempt at democracya bystander I wish not to disturb the peace with my thoughts!
