Camping is a legitimate strategy when it yields results. The whole point of a strategy is to increase your odds of winning. If the survivors you are playing against rush gens while you're camping then the strategy was not useful and thus you should change tactics or accept the loss. But if the team tries to play over altruistic and ends up getting themselves killed you have achieve your desired outcome and thus the strategy worked.
There is no argument to be made about camping not being a strategy it is a method to win vs less experienced players. It sadly even works on the occasional high rank game. Is it a fun strategy? No.
T-bagging killers to get their attention/aggression is also a strategy. If you are able to maintain a chase and hold the killer attention then you are effectively increasing your teams chances of survival. If you die without much of a chase and get quickly tunneled down then clearly your strategy did not yield the results you planned.
Is it a fun strategy? No its sort of kiddish, but it works well on low ranks also."Strat-e-gy

A plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim." -

Against a nurse i dont dc because in dont want a ban ofc but i let me die on the hook as fast possible for move into the next game.By that logic Killers choosing to lobby dodge SWF or disconnecting after that second/third DS or (insert other Forum complaint) is perfectly fine too.
There are better ways of communicating frustration or opinions than purposely ruining someones experience by participating in such behavior, and this "eye for an eye" mentality is why this community is so widely viewed as toxic.

I have to disagree @Might_Oakk this game doesn't need to be F2P because 1: Its already cheap enough 2: Mostly all cosmetic pieces can be gotten for free (admittedly the grind is a bit too much right now). I do however, despite disagreeing with you, still do support what @Orian said.

One perk slot for the survivors to remove the co-op repair debuff? Sure, I mean they have to be working on the same gen which makes them easier to pressure because they're all in the same area. While I agree it is a very positive thing to have everyone together at the start of a match this perk truly grows in strength when there are fewer gens needing repair. The generator times even with 1 being chased and 3 on a gen can make the last 2-3 gens feel incredibly fast.

See, I can do the same thing. Taking something out of context makes your argument false.
? Fail to see how what you quoted from me did any of that. I also explained in detail why I felt what you said was contradictory in my post. Oh well this internet argument isn't going to go anywhere.

Sort of contradictory. You need to lookup the definition of contradictory.
Yup. By saying what I quoted you said, "it sucks for killer" (one whole side of the game) indicating something isn't up to par as it should be, then you immediately claim " I don't see a problem with it."
Then after claiming you see no problem you say its unfun for both sides. This either means you do see there is a problem or you truly believe something being unfun is fine, though the latter would then contradict you saying "it sucks for killer".
Pretty sure I understand the word just fine.

@Kaelum said:
While it sucks as killer, I don’t see a problem with it.TBH though, I’d prefer to have both keys and moris removed from the game. I don’t consider either fun, no matter which side you are on.
Sort of contradictory.

It isn't difficult to hit those types of players once you practice. As a survivor I do 360s, fake 360s, delayed 360s and various other juke techniques. Sometimes they work great but most of the time they work once or twice a match because Killers can track me.
As a killer I also fall for these jukes maybe once or twice a match and then have no problem. It takes practice but also helps to have practice from being the "juker". Try pulling it off as a survivor (mid to high rank only) and you will see how killers deal with it.

Games can fade away into obscurity but you never forget that experience. Games less die and rather the players interest dies. So everytime i hear anyone say this phrase wanna tell them to "F*** Off your interest in the game is only thing that has died today"
But F13 the game is legit dead
I don't know many people that play Pacman as much as F13 and I wouldn't say Pacman is dead.
You know unless you suck at Pacman then yeah he is probably dead. -

They don't have useful perks at beginning., only one maybe. But they need to face many full perks', and rank hacked killers. How can they enjoy the game? Please back in the day you didn't even have access to your 3 character perks and you had to get to level 25 to unlock 4 slots. Things have gotten a little easier for new comers in terms of learning the game.
Now I will say that new players have it rough since by this point a lot more people know the game and are getting matched against you. Just keep playing and remember the #1 thing that will boost your ability to survive/ get kills is learning the map layouts.

I'm against it. There is nothing I ....enjoy....more than deciding to give console Nurse another go only to get Lery's Memorial Treatment Theater.
You monster.
I don't understand why Lery's map is so hated by survivors as well, i'm a survivor main and i love that map. Might be small but it's so easy to juke killers there.Oh don't get me wrong I love the map but I only ever get it when I decide to play Nurse. Let me tell you PS4 Nurse is bad enough without that damn hospital.

I wanted to talk about how there really is no difference between one survivor over the other. They all have the same abilities. Playing Jake, Dwight, Meg, or Jeff is the same as playing Kate, Nea, Ace, David, or any other character. The only difference is their perks they start with. Once you unlocked them all for everyone then what's the point in having the different survivors. The killers are similar, but they all have a unique power that cannot be learned by the others. Why can't survivors have something like that. I guess claudette does have her camouflage so there is a reason to use her to some degree. She still has the same stats as everyone else. Same equipment and addons, same running speed, same offerings, etc. It literally comes down to which survivors look you like the most. I find that boring. Devs please give me a reason to choose one survivor over the other. Maybe give them stats or unique abilities outside of what they already possess. That is what I would like to see. What's everyone else thoughts one this?No difference eh?

I don't think this qualifies but I really like Legion's(Susie) ruler weapon, it's the most makeshift weapon I have ever seen. The wooden ruler is obviously easy to make a stake out of but the metal one looks a lot harder and it's beautiful because it's ugly, the effort she must have gone through to make it a weapon makes me happy.Making a weapon out of a ruler is a great way to measure your skill...

Could anyone explain why you'd rather run this perk over lithe and adrendaline?
1. You are surrounded by objects to vault over in which you can use lithe and even dance with me to get away.- You cant always find a place to drop off of in crucial moments.
I'm curious as to what everyone is going to say. Could anyone steer my reasoning and maybe I'll give it a shot. Thanks
Well if you read every other perk name THIS perk is the only one that's balanced. 8-)

This has probably been asked time and time again but I cant seem to find any.I find a lot of survivors running something that makes their portrait look like two ends of a plug that got pulled apart. It seems like a very viable stealth build as I never seem to find them once its activated.
-
I play a few for different reasons.
Feng- As @Vietfox said "she's simply the best one."
Claudette- Because the best chase is the one that never happens.
Dwight- Because he is bae.
Ace- I only play Ace with his Leopard shirt since I have a 100% escape rate with that shirt and it makes my friends mad.
Nea- Only because she got a cat sweater.
All the others I only play because I have a daily...

This has been happening for a while now and i don't know why, so I'm just going to ask. I made a question post around a couple months ago and never got the answer I needed, so none of the answers on the post were accepted. Ever since then I have that stupid notification in the bottom left of my screen that says "You've asked questions that now have answers. Make sure you accept/reject the answers." When I go to the post I don't get the option to accept or reject any answers because they have all been rejected. So the notification is there the entire time I'm on the forum and will reappear shortly after I hit the little X on it to close it. Is there any way that I can fix this?Just @ a mod and ask for the post to be deleted.

The fun lies within the interaction between killer and survivor, with franks mixtape you simply take away all of that and replace it with free hits.
It's boring AF.

I think the big problem with Rotten fields is either:
A: You suffer from corn-blindness and the map is terrible for your enjoyment.
B: You do not suffer from corn-blindness and so survivors have 0 chance to hide in the corn. For me the map just feels boring to play as either side and it really effects all killers on a different level.
-Clown cannot really set up bottles when 70% of the map is open corn-field.
-Myers cannot stalk anyone who is somehow hidden behind a single stalk of corn.
-Nurse seems ok on PC for this map (still one of her more difficult) but is nearly impossible on console (fps and corn...).
-Hillbilly is a transcended GOD on this map.
-Leatherface seems largely unaffected.
-Wraith is given away by the shaking corn stalks.
-Pig is given away just like wraith (assuming you try to sneak)
-Trapper has unreliable places to put his traps in the open field (however can really take advantage of the middle of the map basement).
-Doctor seems largely unaffected.
-Hag seems like a mixed bag since her traps have a larger trigger radius and can still be effective in the open fields.
-Huntress seems alright if you don't suffer from corn-blindness.
-Freddy is actually "good" on this map and is honestly the most boring Killer to play against.
-I haven't seen many Spirit or Legion players on this map yet and have no experience with how good/bad they are.The same argument can be made for ever map I agree (in terms of Killer strength/weakness) but I feel this map in particular just isn't fun with how it normally plays out.
-
Well if they ever create that C.E.O killer I'd be terrified when he/she starts throwing lootboxes. Especially once you realized it charged your credit card each time you got hit.

It's very frustrating when you're a fair distance from the killer and he has a 10 metre lunge attack, it doesn't help that the tracking of killers has a side swing, which is so stupidly op because it's just impossible to escape the killer... I think every killer has to rely on being closer to get the hit rather then being lucky with lunge and tracking... I also believe attacks should be vertical so killers have to be more skillful when striking. It's so easy to hit people simply because you swing from an angle meaning it's more wide, but if it were to be vertical the killer has to read what the survivor is going to do.Lunge attacks don't have tracking only the close "quick click" attacks do. The hit box for the attack is a vertical zone right down the middle of your screen meaning if the survivor on your screen is off to the left or right the attack will miss. The attack does not come out at an angle like you are describing.
Once the attack animation has started (for close quick click attacks) your character locks on to the survivor hit box (assuming the button was hit during the hit box alignment/interaction) and you gain the hit score. For lunge attacks the survivor has to be within that vertical hit box during the end of the animation (when the lunge is let go/ended).
As for you believing its a "10 meter lunge attack" this is most likely due to the poor latency the game suffers and how it will appear an attack landed from further than it should have. This is not the case however and its simply that the data took time to travel and register to both clients. Hopefully with the dedicated servers in the works such problems will be reduced.

Or this.

If a Survivor is hooked when all the gens are done the perk is active, and will block the exit gates if they're opened while the Survivor is on the hook. This way you can't just 99% the gate and then open it after the Survivor is hooked.Bloodwarden should take affect as it does now when someone is hooked and gates are opened but it should also prevent the 99% by simply having the effect take place (60s) if someone is on the hook when the gates are opened.
Basically if someone is on the hook the timer will start once the gates are opened be it before or after that person was hooked. To counter play this you either have to wait the 60s as Bloodwarden was intended should you open the gate while the person was hooked or you have to save that person before trying to escape.
