It's so easy to counter: -Slug with sloppy butcher for 60 seconds
    -mori
    -make your choice
-remember me (if the obsession is dead, you can still get stacks)
-juking the killer for 60 seconds
    -rancor
...didn't you think about to remove the timer (and maybe, that it makes you the obsession), so DS activates after the first hook, like a mori?  Yes, then a mori is still a counter, but 5 of 6 counters would be denied and it's still a nerf

Slugging for 60 secs? Ok I don't need to read any further. You clearly have no idea

Sure, you can slug really easy with sloppy, you just need to camp the one person on the ground and thats it

If you are camping the person on the ground then you just wasted 60s of your time. Slugging is not a hard counter, it simply downs the survivor and pushes someone else to go save them OR people start running unbreakable again to counter the slugging! WOW imagine that DS now has counters that can also be countered, its almost like this game has some fun new mind-games to think about!

No this is just the same old crap. One side gets a change and everyone starts crying, people don't like to adapt and learn new ways of tackling a situation.

I personally would hate that killer if I were in the shoes of that survivors. Just kill me and we both can move on to a next much more interesting match. Nothing more boring than holding M1 in the terrorradius of a killer while watches you and escape through the hatch. For what? some bloodpoints. Yaaaay.....

Typically the survivor will go and point at a hook to indicate they wish to die. Clearly the OP wanted the BP the killer was offering and thus a silent agreement was settled.

  • Can't speak for their situations but with how randomly jail/bans happen and the growing toxic echo- chambers we see on the forums I've migrated to simply posting 1 liners and memes. Nothing is changing on here and anyone speaking out ( albeit on a thin line) just gets hit.

The game/forums has lost my compassion and invested intrest and I simply pop in for the clown fiesta at this point.

Killers - defend garbage like NOED, camping and tunneling which encourages people to play SWF

NOED, camping and tunneling are the only things that encourage you to play with your friends? Damn and here I though people played SWF because they actually enjoyed each-others company.

Nearly 20 years ago when I was 8 I tried to surprise my parents one morning by making them waffles for breakfast. Being the young fella I was with no real experience in cooking I tried using pancake batter in the waffle iron we had but used waaaaay too much. Needless to say nothing turned out well and my parents instead awoke to the smell of smoke and burning pancake batter. I told them that I was going to surprise them by making a really big Mega Waffle for breakfast. When it was presented for me to come up with a username this was the first real memory I thought of that would make for something unique and personal so I kept using it. Honestly I find it very difficult to create a game account should this name be taken and no slight alteration be available.

As a killer your survival depends on other three guys that might be literally braindead? No.
NOED rewards you if you fail as killer, the hatch compensates for having a bad team.

But your team could also have 4 brain-dead players and therefor someone is getting a nearly free escape and being rewarded for doing nothing.

Legion is simply the most unfun Killer to play against. And to be honest, the more people DC, the better, because this will maybe raise attention so that Legion will get his rework.

    I can understand their frustration.

By this logic SWF are really unfair to play against so the more DC the better...

Killers are already dodging Lobbies when it is possible that there is a SWF in it. I cannot dodge a Lobby when I know that I play vs Legion.

So you only want to play against very specific killers? Ok then I guess we need to show survivor perks too since some killers would rather leave if a survivor is running DS.

Again its a survival game and rather than ruining that game with disconnecting from a match try having a civilized conversation with the dev team via their social media/forums. Problems are not fixed by lashing out but by starting a conversation and showing where the problem arises.

    Property

When a Survivor starts searching a Chest, gain a Chest notification. (Like how Crows now have a Crow symbol when they scare Crows and you have Spies From The Shadows equipped.)

    Why?
Survivors got Perks to do this secondary objective faster and benefit more from doing so.
Killers can't interact with these in any way except grab Survivors from them.
Time to grant them a Chest Perk! :p

Would make the Cut & Scratched Coin better Offerings too.

The time it takes to search a chest actually loses you gen time as a result, even if you get the best toolbox. The chest perks are meant more for farming items/having a gimmick build. Although I cannot say a chest perk for killers couldn't be made i just don't think it would be worth using.

I remember someone saying that if you run ruin you aren't a good killer, now, this did come from someone who mains survivor so i would take this with a grain of salt. But feel free to comment down below what you think.

In my opinion i don't think anyone is a bad killer if they ruin, considering that gens can be done a little too fast, i can see why most people run it, i only run it on spirit simply because i would like some time to be able to find people, but i will say that on certain killers like Billy should not need ruin, considering he does have an excessive amount of map pressure.

If you are playing killer and joining the match with only 3 perks I fail to see how that makes you bad?

I'm a lot more angry at people who DON'T stay on the gen after blowing it up. If the killer is coming, he is probably going to see you running anyway, and if he is not - well done, you're wondering aimlessly and wasting precious time. If he is coming and you're on a gen, then you start running and looping, and if he is not - do gen.

I've also had games where 2 or 3 people were on a gen, it blows up, and as the killer approaches he sees 1 or 2 people run away. Since he saw them I was never caught still working on the gen.

This game is zero fun when someone is using Doctor on PS4... it lags down to like 10 FPS the entire match... Is that why you choose doctor? I see matches where the lag screws killer and survivor over equally, so its pointless and unfun.

Probably has one of the largest build diversity, best BP generator in the game, infectious laugh and overall fun to play. I see no lag when playing against a Doc unless the ping was bad to begin with and playing as the Doc I only run into lag on specific maps in specific spots (library/office in Lerys for example).

  • @AlwaysInAGoodShape

Depends. There is a reason Overwatch can be so toxic with its version of "Elo Hell".

  • I believe the most difficult Killer trophy is the one for Micheal Myers that requires you kill all 4 survivors by your hand in the match. The problem is that someone will almost always DC before you can get the achievement.

But continuing with this, the flick on hillbilly does not seem to be balanced at all, the rest is fine, but to god damn flick, you can simply scale a wall with this power, one second you deal with a killer who some its balanced and fair-ish, and others broken as hell, the next you deal with a flick that can break any chase...

This sounds like salt but, come on, flick is what breaks some games in the first place

Basically having noob team mates at red ranks, but also because stuff like NOED carries killers and as a solo survivor when you get tunneled you can't do much against that and only hope your mates are doing dull totems.

(Btw, I'm not bitching about playing survivor is difficult, I'm far away from that lol. Everyone who plays both sides agrees with me that survivor is pretty easy. I'm more focused on the terrible matchmaking/ranking system which is making solo Q really annoying.
Swf is another story, pretty much always fun to play cuz you have always your 3 decent mates with braincells.)

The problem with bad teammates is that most of them get carried to red ranks by SWF. I truly believe if everyone was forced to play solo only the good players would make it to red ranks (or at least the players who do will have a far better understanding of the game).

I also believe that by removing SWF you would gut this games community in half because a ton of people who only play with friends would legitimately move on.

Sadly there is no win/win here.

  • @Eveline said:
Why dissrespect non t-baging/non decisive group of players? I am rank 1 survivor on ps4 for a while now and one thing I noticed while I'm playing solo is that at least 50% (probably more) of time I am playing with survivors similar to me. But killers still BM most of the time with their moris etc.

I know there are respectful ones but sometimes I just want to be toxic myself since people are garbage anyway and don't deserve to be treated nice. That includes selfish survivors too.

The problem to your question is that it has nothing to do with one side or the other since no one knows who started it. All we can say for sure is that a lot of people are guilty of continuing it. Continue to play respectfully and eventually disrespectful players will be weeded out. Once you give in and start pointing fingers nothing changes.

I get what you mean but at the same time would you choose a perk that makes a gen regress faster over one that applies its full effect instantly?

Pop goes the weasel instantly removes 25% so would a perk that (just an example) doubles the regress speed be worth taking? It would still be susceptible to tapping the gen. Not saying it couldn't be a perk just not sure I see a place for it on a personal level.

So I have been playing Jeff for a bit now and I really like him very much!!

One issue is that he may be the loudest players in the game and is easily able to be found unless you get the iron will perk but even then, he is still super loud.

It would be nice in a later update to make him a quieter so he isn't so easily found by killers. If not, I will still play him cause I enjoy him a lot!

BHVR has a room where they can test a wide variety of in-game weapons on your own flesh. Depending on the recording quality they can add in your own screams for you to enjoy. Maybe you can apply to be the new Jeff?

Hi, I think I’d be cool if each survivor could have an unique bonus/stat in the game. Beside each one unique perks. This would give each survivor more character.
    For example:
    Claudette:+extra 5% speed heal
    Jake: +extra 5% sabotage speed
    Dwight: +extra 5% repair speed
    ...
    ...
And so on. What you people think?

    4 Dwights, 4 Prove Thyself, 4 X 5% character stat repair speed.
    No thanks.
I would like something to be unique about the survivors aside from being a reason to buy auric cells. Problem is finding a way to balance their abilities and how the ability would stack/balance with others.
I don't feel this is close to the top of the list for things DBD needs to fix right now.

So I just recently saw this perk on my bloodweb for the hillbilly. Is it a decent perk? It SOUNDS decent, but then, even at the low ranks I play on right now, it seems that crows don't often get set off, unless it's by me. But maybe people don't care about crows at the higher ranks?

Anyways, bearing in mind I have NO DLC characters besides the free nurse, ergo no DLC perks, is this one viable to use? Or would I Just be wasting a perk slot?

Completely debatable since there are better perks out there however it is still a good perk.
I use to run the perk a decent amount before the buff came out. It allows you to have a pseudo-Doctor terror radius effect on any killer you equip it. Take that for what you will but it helps find people who don't pay attention for crows (and honestly who actually looks out for crows, aside from Pale Rose).

Since they added new visual updates to the alerts its even easier to pinpoint where people are moving. If you have trouble prioritizing the notifications it may be best to take a step back, after all you can't chase every one you find.

Lol what? You still advance a hook stage. And if you fail you lose an entire 60 seconds plus lose a decent chunk out of the struggle stage. What will the killer be losing in your dream balance scenario?

People will literally complain about every single aspect of this game.

The scenario you are explaining is the other 96% of trying to unhook, not the 4% I was talking about.
I'm really not sure why you bothered writing this if it isn't even responding to what I was saying.

He did answer what you said, attempting to escape carries a huge risk with a low chance of a huge reward.
Having 4% chance of skiping to the 2nd stage carries no risk with a low chance of a huge reward. They are not on the same level.

Except I wasn't talking about the risk of going for a "kobe" but rather the fact that you have a 4% baseline chance to escape by yourself. I never mentioned anything about the risk because that isn't what the OP was asking in their original question. So no the response I got had nothing to do with what I wrote but rather tried to poke a hole into something I never even mentioned.
