I'm not fussed about respectable buffs here and there but MoM is basically a free pallet to a survivor with no counter play. It's DS all over again.
I don't think its as good as people think. I believe TydeTime hit the nail on the head with his view of the perk.

Idk a few days ago one of those big youtubers made a no blink nurse video. You know when those youtubers do some crap then you'll see some killers coming in doing some crap.
kids these days and their TubeYoubs. Back in my day we didn't have Nurses! If you had an injury you went to that guy your friend knows that had all them' leeches! Best damn leeches I ever bought!

For me, knife. Doesn't matter which.
The Phantom Wraith mace with Sally's beating heart still inside.

What if progress on the exit gates wasn't saved? Similar to totems, if you are interrupted opening a gate, the progress goes back to zero.
This has the potential to be impossible to escape from. Sometimes the exit gates spawn along the same wall close enough that a killer could chase survivors off them before either could be opened. This can even be the case on some maps where Nurse/Billy can get to both gates before any single bar could reach full.
I do think they power up way to fast but these problems would need to be considered in any potential changes.

Every second game I play is this map and I'm sick of it!
You need to return it to Azarov!
It was his hat Mr. ShoogaMoogaMan. HE WAS #1 !

Chucky has already made clones of himself so he could in theory use them to crate a "tall person" of sorts.
I'd honestly like to see a small step ladder under every hook when playing as Chucky. XD

Hay all I main survivor but i really want to diversify and improve my basic killer skills. dose anyone have any tips for perks and killers i should try?
Nea is probably the killer you would be most familiar with. Her ability to blend in among the other survivors is what keeps her attacks always a surprise. This is also a great way to observe the survivors and learn what makes them really "tick" before going in for the throat.

I had a match my bud and I were playing where this Doctor was just going around shocking people but not actually committing to a chase. Eventually one guy DCed, another one bled out, one guy was sacrificed and he took pity on me since someone disconnec- waaaaaait a minute this sounds familiar...

While I can appreciate the time you spent on this idea I know many people who simply don't heal vs the Legion (aside from mandatory mend) meaning his power would become 100% useless against this play-style. The broken status, as others have said, would encourage people to rush gens more vigorously (maybe low ranks would hide but not skilled players) and those who care little about being injured now laugh as Legion hits them with his power.
Not sure this idea hits the mark.

This is literally only beneficial if you’re a vet killer or a SWF squad though. The person who messaged me clearly doesn’t play much survivor, and to be put up against a killer like me? Very discouraging to continue playing don’t you think?
That will again differ from person to person. I had plenty of games where I was decimated by a far more experienced player. I personally took it as a means to slow down my gameplay and learn the maps, the loops, the base mechanics and develop a style I enjoyed playing rather then trying to copy "tips" online. I also didn't experience any toxicity (as this was when the game was first launching PS4).
I can easily see the argument against this too as it could be demoralizing to others. This is why I feel no easy answer exist and BHVR has to try a few methods for the matchmaking system or we will never find what works for the majority.
I know I would rather find ANY game after X amount of time waiting then spend my whole night (short as it is) playing lobby simulator. Sure I can hope into a killer match but I enjoy playing survivor after work to relax since I can often watch a video on the side while playing.

Totems are the secondary objective. Nobody does them. That's why NOED is activated.
Also the reason NOED has reached the sheer level of usage is because every post that isn't complaining about Legion is a "Nerf NOED" post.
-
(Insert Arachnid style killer)
The longer you are in the Terror radius and not moving (excluding being in a chase and gens maybe) spiders start to craw over your body slowly webbing you down and decreasing your movement speed. After X amount of time the web will break but you must keep moving to avoid the slow web buildup.
(Siren blood curse inspired killer)
While activating your power a survivor within your terror radius will have their view shared with yours. (For those who have not played Siren blood curse the screen would split vertically down the middle, like playing co-op, and you would see what the killer saw. This made stealth both scary and fun! In this version both the killer and the survivor would see each others viewpoint for X amount of time.)
These are two terror radius examples I could think of with no regards for balance or possible mechanical issues!
Edit: corrected a few spelling mistakes!

No it doesn’t. I can confirm this when running TOTH, HG, DH, & NOED. The match had reached the endgame and all hexes were cleansed except HG, and I have to presume the survivors cleansed the only dull totem standing before the endgame because NOED did not activate.
It absolutely has to be a dull totem remaining on the map. If they’re already hexed, NOED does not replace one.
See convincing killers to run all hex perks is a great way to counter NOED.
Stop complaining now survivors!😋

Or getting the "you tunnelling (insert profanity)" even though everyone was 2 hooked before any single survivor actually died.

Leopard Ace is the only survivor worth playing. Natural stealth and more MAN than one killer can handle!

Let's discuss what you think goes through the heads of survivor players when they see a certain killer. I'll start with Freddy:

Killer: Where!?
Survivor: There diagonally! *DC*
Killer:.....

I really enjoy DBD I’m not great but I’m okay.
Others have pretty well already answered your question but here are the tips that I followed way back when I was new to DBD.
Don't rely on scratch marks. The marks left behind can sometimes be a little wonky (thankfully not as bad as when the game first launched). Use the marks as a quick indication a survivor is nearby but always focus your eyes on the paths ahead of you. More likely than not you will see the survivor without the need to follow the tracks. Scratch marks by default (without perks) last for 7 seconds so the culprit is most likely nearby.
Don't rely on blood trails unless your build is focused on making people bleed. Blood can easily be hidden in tall grass (abundant nearly everywhere) and can easily make you lose track of someone who you may have found by keeping your eyes glued in front of you. Some maps that don't have grass like The Game or Lery's are great for following blood since its very easy to follow and the map has a lot of vision breakers.
Learn the maps from a survivor viewpoint. If you know that a survivor is in the area thanks to seeing the marks but you are not sure where, its great to have the insider knowledge of where they might have run too based on your experience playing survivor. This all ties back again to keeping your eye in front of you rather than trained on the ground and scanning possible "escape" routs the soon to be victim might have run too.
TLDR: Always look in front of you rather than focus on the ground.
-
I didn't read any of the posts so if this ends up being a repeat of what other have already said so be it.
Both sides have toxic people. This game should not be viewed as "toxic survivors" vs "toxic killers" as its simply TOXIC PEOPLE. If you have a problem with people who complain about the game from the view point of survivor its not going to fix anything if you lump every survivor player into the toxic player bucket. Same goes for killer players.
The forums is filled with posts attacking one side or the other when in reality everyone is just fed up with toxic people in general.
-
Personally I really like the new DS, because it is punishing the people who was over and over tunneling the one person, which was unfun though.
I have to admit I'm a little torn on this. On one hand I'm glad because I think everything should in some way have counterplay/counter builds and this is a great way to fight the affects of the new DS. On the other hand since Enduring is a pretty staple perk in a lot, if not most, builds (excluding gimmick/fun builds) it seems like an awfully hard counter. Honestly the only way to find out for sure is to give it some time and see how things play out.

As I say in the title, if the survivors DECIDE not to cure themselves at the source so that the plague improves their power, their power is useless.
So far it seems to be a common theme to NOT use the corrupt fountains as the Plague in the PTB. Things may change but I don't really see a substantial benefit to the upgrade.

Lets just stick to the topic of perk ideas and keep the equally toxic killer vs survivor stuff out of here please.

533 votes and 111 comments so far on RedditJust played a match as Legion. Building up my BP reserves for the new killer and survivor soon. Using BBQ and used streamers this time.
This team managed to do a single gen in 13.6 seconds. Although this time is given optimal efficiency and setup I would say the average time a team could do this in a normal match would be closer to 20-25 seconds.

Really; Im the only one who wish this Bill on Ps4?
Don't worry we are getting our own Green clad survivor on the Switch.

Default skin looks nice.
Prestige 3 skin I think looks really nice as the blood compliments and doesn't clash at all with her original look.
First new skin looks sort of bland to me. I like the blindfold idea but I feel the rest is lacking anything that would make it stand out.
The last one is really nice. The color really "pops" and it implements the same blindfold idea I liked from the first.
Favorite in order: Last/red one, Prestige 3, Original, Bland full body robe.

I guess you are correct. It seems the change was live on the PTB following Legions release (Darkness Amount Us) but it has not been officially released into the game. That seems to be where my misunderstanding came from. I'll correct the post but thanks for pointing it out.

That was never announced, and is not true. That is the final intent, but the code to fully do that has not been implemented. The next patch will bring us closer, but there is still at least 1 more patch beyond that, to get to this new system. They are still testing the matchmaking, which is currently worse than all of the previous systems, when it comes to balance.
ON TOPIC:
I have pretty much stopped playing solo survivor due to the ranking system. Once the new system is in place, I’ll give it a try. I refuse to play with others who are playing at a rank that is seriously out of their league.
I was confident they implemented the change already as far as lobby grouping went and the other matchmaking changes with how it groups "similar skilled" players was being tested. Maybe I am wrong I'll take a deeper look myself and correct my post should I be misinformed.

Damn did you make a whole edit in Movie maker pro?!
JK don't worry I do believe you as I have seen some funny daily bugs happen in For Honor that no one believed I did not edit.

They changed it like 3 patches ago so all lobbies try to get 4 people before loading in. This was to make it harder to detect SWF so lobby dodging would slow down. It sadly seems to have backfired as loads of people clearly never read this change and lobby dodge even more.
-After checking the patch notes again, the above information is incorrect so I shall correct myself here.
-The change I mentioned above was introduced in the PTB during Legions release (Darkness Among Us) but never officially made its way into the game itself. So I guess there is a possibility we could see it during the official release of Chapter 11 but it is currently not in effect. Sorry for the misinformation.

@AntiJelly said:
It's your own fault if you get gen rushed. Stop getting baited by the decisive flashlight clickers.
That can be part of the reason however its far easier for survivors to put gen pressure on a killer than it is for the killer to put that pressure on the team. This also varies based on the killer in question.
The killer has to get hook/kills to "win" the game. To do this they have to have a chase that ultimately leads to that chased survivor getting knocked down. In that time the other teammates are (hopefully) doing gens. Yes it can be useful to break a chase from time to time to go scare players off generators but what you will find is that "gen rush" players will often forgo healing themselves to instantly rush back to their generator. For this reason you either have to try and slug people while also running back and forth to gens or risk having any broken chases result in an immediate return to a gen. With both of these cases you are not getting hooks or kills and the generators are progressing faster than you can regress them.
Killers cannot be blamed for "gen rush" as the term can only be applied to a team who is strongly focused on generators and who will forgo their own safety to push those gens down. A killer can do their best to slow that rush down but when a team is putting pressure on you, and you can only put pressure on 1 person at a time, it becomes very difficult to deal with.
Sure you won't see a well organized team rushing gens down in every match but when you do you can quickly see how one sided things can become.
-
Will you ever open your eyes and see that GEN RUSH is a damn problem and fix the gen times or will you still be closing the eyes before the real problem of the game.
The team has already addressed that gen times are fast however they said they would rather fix the issue by creating mechanics to slow the game down rather than increase base gen times. The reason they don't want to simply increase the time is because holding M1/R1 for a longer period of time isn't very engaging.
Before going on a huge rant maybe check to see if the issue has been addressed first. Could save you some time and answer your questions without making you seems like another flame on the DBD forums.

Btw is it bad to make people happy?
Don't worry mate I'm just poking fun at the fact that people who really like Legion are having trouble getting matches because everyone keeps DCing.
And yes Happiness is infectious and I don't believe anything that infectious should be allowed to spread. 😉
-
Nice and Simple. Rate 1 - 10, or just say undecided Right now I'm Undecided, but leaning towards a low rating :/
To early to call power/rank but I would give her 4 1/2 buckets of vomit out of 5 on the "fun scale".
-
Dark devotion could be cool on Doctor but ONLY if it also takes his power and attaches it to the survivor. I think any killer can make some use of this though.
The Corrupt Intervention seems like an easier way for Sniper Doc builds to set up an easy 3 gen strat. This perk seems very nich and far too unreliable.
The Infectious fright seems useless all around.
-
I love that whatever add on the Coccombed Clapper use to be before Wraith cube was a common, so when the change took place I had over 50 Ultra rare add-ons. I have not played a Wraith game since his rework where I have not been able to mix Coxcombed Clapper and Ghost rune. I'm not sure I remember how to play a "normal" Wraith anymore.

They are a Legion main so they are attempting to gain survivor trust so they will stop DCing once a match starts.

Even if it's real, the part i find hard to believe is that you managed to not fill it up, but that it's not completely empty either.
I know Trapper's Power is traps, but an entire match with only 2.9 seconds of chase? Statistically possible yes, but very hard to believe.
It can simply be an error in text and not mechanics meaning its still 3 minutes even though the text claims 3 seconds. Or edit.

Sadly this achievement is busted since DCing doesn't count as a kill. I luckily got this the first week Myers was released well before this DC craze took "shape"...hehe...

For me it’s spirit. *edit now Myers.
A few Billy/Nurse players but mostly SWFs.

If I want less frustrating games. Other killers are either too slow or easily looped. Before you say Nurse I am on console and don't like her.
If you manage to get use to Nurse on console you won't lose a single match because everyone will automatically assume you are bad. It just takes waaay to much effort for me to continue practicing.
