Anonymous mode would let trolls run rampant among our games with no identity to tag them with. Not a good idea. And if only streamers could use it, then it would be kinda obvious who's who.
-
If someone looked at the Optimization post they made you wouldve clearly seen the Chapter go beyond 11
-
I will either find the killer comical or vile, we'll see once the PTB starts
-
INB4 Vigil doesn't affect it at all
-
I dont use BBQ on Legion, but I do wish you a swift return to your delicious perk
-
There should be a suicide option after being left on the floor for 2 minutes, slugging is the antithesis of 4 D-strike survivors in a game
-
i dont think the vomit is scary, more humerous than anything else. nonetheless seems like fun to play around.

I just thought of an amazing idea. Once every gen is completed, the perk also blocks the closest 3 gens to the completed one for 20 seconds.
that would be great for survivor's, it would stop them from 3 gen strat-ing themselves
-
Well it seems i got what i wanted, cause that's literally one of Jane's perks coming in the next chapter.
-
I'd like to see Anubis just for a very cinematic Mori. He swiftly rips your heart out and gazes at it, then turns around and places it on a scale. The last thing the survivor sees is their heart weighing more than a feather and themselves stumbling and falling.
-
As a survivor main, this is a non-issue. Hag and Spirit both move slower than the average killer. The blind on Hag wont matter if you step on a trap soon after, and the blind on The Spirit wont matter if she finds your Scratch Marks and phases to you anyways.
-
30 FPS sounds DISGOSTANG when a few milliseconds can be the difference between a kill and an escape
-
That's why they're making all survivors appear at the same time in the future (SWF or not), another way to reduce lobby times

A killer can never be fun if they're designed as a toy for survivors to play with, fact.
This is true, they need to be powerful and something to fear, such as Michael.
-
unless offerings could lock-in, this WILL go very toxic, very quick
Also, even if they do lock-in, a D-bag killer can dc and waste up to 4 BPS
-
Ping usually has no severe effect on me anyways, i just take the insta-lobbies i can get
-
No.
-
Yes, fun killers are needed. Legion is fun to play as, his lack of success can kill said fun. Legion would be more fun to play against if there were more interactions possible with Deep Wound. I don't feel either way about Legion on the survivor's side
-
Creation of the Deep Wound
-
the concept of Claudette parkour-ing from box to box is hilarious to me
-
I just want the 2017 halloween music back. i think it really fit this game well
-
If the killer is as scary as i hope they are, then A. Otherwise B. I love new playstyle additions. All of Jeff's perks were at least B tier to me so they couldnt have regressed in their thinking...(we dont talk about Legion...even though i play him)
-
I take Kindred,Open-Handed, and Breakdown and somehow people still fall for the Leatherface camp. They don't take BT either so its like why did you even try?
-
People don't realize it's a two way-street. You both want your points, you both want an intended outcome from this, you both are screwed if the other wins over. you can complain about the survivor, and the survivor can complain about the killer, but you both put yourself in a situation in which a hatch stand-off was possible. If the survivors performed better they wouldve just walked out the gate, if the killer performed better they wouldnt have had the chance to reach the hatch. Nobody truly wins except the person with the most patience / inflated sense of ego.
-
If it's a fantasy of what i want, changes to killers to make them scarier, we all love a good scare!
-
Legion just needs Movement speed and Duration when moving towards a healthy survivor after Deep Wounding the original one he was chasing. He needs more incentives not to tunnel. Spirit can have both passive-phasing add-ons, not like they'll do much anyways.
-
Either that or make grass invisible/not render when she approaches it. would be great to get more stealthy approaches towards survivors
-
I don't mind it, there are far worse/toxic killer add-on combinations and i could use a good scare
-
i can't tell if you're trolling, but Benevolence clearly states that you gain points towards the emblem if you take a hit for another survivor being carried. Gen tapping is not effective, and no survivor is ever going to just walk in a straight line and not use Windows or Pallets just to be nice to any given killer who can't handle it.
-
thanks guys, i really appreciate the quick response 😄
-
it's a good thing Rancor doesn't take away Distortion stacks. it's also a good thing Rancor isn't an aura perk.
-
Pantsless Jeff comes first
-
Yeah... no thanks.when I'm coming for the save, I'm not taking no for an answer, you're coming with me.
-
You know what. with the recent chapter, you can at least probably have a cult outfit for Jeff, which is as close as we're gonna get
-
Well there can be simple fixes to make the game scarier. start off by fixing Wraith's / Billy's derp face. make stun sounds by killers sound angry and aggresive and not "ouchie!". Make the game dark again for survivors but keep it as-is for killers. add more ambiance and make the realms look like the entity meant for it to scare people
-
Just like other games that become popular, either the developers in certain departments improve, or they're tossed out for someone better. Hopefully the optimization strike teams know what they're doing. I doubt they'd hype up optimization if they didn't believe it was possible.
-
There needs to be a different key for jumping into a locker from vaulting, thats just it. I need those lockers by the windows, i just dont need them bound to the same key
-
Legion is fun to play as...but he's undeniably weaker than your average killer.
-
The difficulty comes from a survivor's attempt to overcome the oppressive and relentless nature of the killers.
For the killer, it's overcoming the elusive nature of the survivors.
If a survivor cant elude, there is little difficulty, and if the killer has no clue how to use their power to halt generator progress, then the survivors have little difficulty. Mostly, things become difficult when strategies become increasingly frustrating to deal with. and that's on both sides.
-
The teaser has heavy emphasis on the mist, with the mist obscuring the majority of the killer. something tells me he's going to be along the line of Spirit/ Michael and be stealth-oriented. Probably using the fog/smoke to ambush disoriented survivors
-
If the killer is THAT petty that they don't even wanna give survivors points, there's an issue
-
I've had that happen to me once, literally as the panning was happening, I could hear the heartbeat. I was against Billy and Billy was facing me. luckily he went easy on me because of it but not everyone is gonna be so lucky
-
The new killer is stalking the forums and mori'ing our comments
-
I've never had issues with lobbies, so i guess its working as intended?

Nope, but this change made me take a break from DbD up to v1.8.
It was, probably, one of those changes nobody ever wanted and needed, but they still did it, like breaking up the sounds in game, or getting rid of a way better graphic shaders from the beta
do you have a link to where i can find what beta graphics looked like?

Ace's perks are worse than Quentin's though.but at least 2 of Ace's perks have a remotely good use. Quentin cannot be defended.
-
If you like playing a fair and scary killer, then Spirit. If you hate survivor with a deep-rooted passion, then Legion.
-
@TheMidnightRidr said:
What about higher rank killers and survivors? Is it any different?
There's no way it stays the same, at least for killers. someone has to get pushed out to make way for Nurse and Billy
-
It's like when someone tries to body block you as legion, and your gut reaction is to m1 and not m2 to dash right through them
