I think everyone would like number's for everything rather than tRuMeNdOuSlY
-
It doesnt need a buff, it needs to not be so damn buggy. (which at this point, is a buff)
-
Who?
-
It would be cool if the cosmetic was more unique, but chapters are cheap anyways and i like supporting the game so i just shrug it off

Don't you know which one is which by just tapping a totem and seeing if the progress bar is red or not?
not at all

maybe have an effect beyond Broken, if the character stays x second in the broken status, and extra status is applied to them.

Dont know her...

There is a percentage of people that play this game solely to make sure the opposing party has the most miserable time playing. It's more than just a play-style to those people, it's their joy in life. People weren't joking when they said some people just like to see the world burn, cause they sure as hell play this game.
EDIT : I just read the second half, and yeah, it's basically a last ditch effort when you have no clue how to continue playing killer effectively
-
If a survivor tries to reveal the location of another survivor, i will kill them. and it will be my sole job to ensure they do not survive. YOU HEAR ME DWIGHT?! I HAVE YOUR NUMBER!!!
-
Plague just makes the bad survivor's you queue up with even worse to deal with.
Sure she could be powerful in some games, but realistically, you just need to find a tall enough wall (of sorts) that is attached to a pallet and just run around until you feel that she's getting too close to you.
-
Does it spark joy?
-
Discordance, Thanatophobia, Franklin's and Bamboozle. Everyone wants to window tech a Legion, i make sure that doesn't happen
-
Not once

@LaughingFox: Thanks. I don't play Survivor and don't play Laurie, so wasn't sure about her outfits in the game. That's why I guessed the original or H20 era (21-41 years old for Michael).
Unfortunately, I erred on the side of H20 because her model certainly doesn't look 17-years-old in the game. I can buy 37-years old, but looking at the model, I have a hard time seeing 17-years-old.
we'll have to excuse DBD for that one, their graphics weren't too great from the get-go, im sure they would've been able to make Laurie look far better if it was 2019 and not 2016

As @Kikki said: There's a bug that dc's people usually running or doing an interaction such as working on a gen. One killers side they dc'd on their side the killer dc'd and it usually shows all 4 survivors got booted as if the killer dc'd.
For some reason BPS usually crash the person using them or it's just a coincidence and it seems to be similar to the loading freeze (Highly speculative.)
This happened to me today, we were in a completely winnable match with only one gen left to complete...suddenly, the person on the hook disconnected, and Daddy Jeff who was gonna work on the last gen with me ran up some stairs and dc'd while running.
Here i thought the killer was on some keen hacking abilities, but it was probably another game-breaking and soul crushing bug that continues to hamper the fun people are trying to have in their cat and mouse game

A lot of SWF groups are just bunch of people who are looking to have fun together. Most of them aren't even that good at the game.
Stop believing in this stupid myth that every SWF group is a 4-man SWAT team ready to bully killers.
If killers had this option, SWF wouldn't be playable. Maybe only God-tier Nurses would play against them.
This. Me and my friends come together to laugh and talk together about things that have nothing to do with DBD, whilst trying to survive. I acknowledge the advantage that is there, but a lot people just wanna have DBD night with their pals.

People are dissing lightweight or think it needs a buff and frankly, I disagree. It’s incredibly useful and perk adaptable without making a survivor op. I love lightweight. You don’t see a difference? I’m sorry to hear that.
I know that when I’m a survivor, I survive more with lightweight.
I know that when I’m killer, lightweight makes it hard af to find survivors with it. Also good luck finding footsteps in the corn or in maze like maps.
I feel the same exact way! Sure, visualizing it from a high point makes it seem like it doesn't do much, but add corn, walls, and other Line of Sight blocking objects and the 3 seconds subtracted can be the difference between a trail to follow or nothing but dust
-
I never understood why Evader was that way, i shouldn't feel forced to be in the killer's terror radius, AND do a majority of gens AND heal numerous times.
I must say, i dont care much for pipping in the first place due to facing sweatier killers and having no reward whatsoever, but it still doesn't make sense why an emblem system dedicated to portraying your skill is doing so with moderate inaccuracy.
-
Survivor-side chase music isnt' any quieter, it's far louder than the hatch and any other important noise queue

I can't say much because I barely play him and when I do I just end up running an insidious basement build because I suck at him so much and it's entertaining to see how many I can tag into the basement.
and this is why he will never get a buff
-
the most effective way is to just not use it, its far better to just work on gens or totems
-
There's a good way to fix what people are saying here
SWF can't vote for each other
If there's multiple voting options, only you see what they voted for, others only see that your rep became more positive
Maybe survivor's can have a flare above them that looks more Benevolent the higher their rep is. Repeatedly disconnecting survivor's have a more Entity-like flare
-
I'm sure by now we can get a better animation than the old one, one that looks aggressive and violent

Hiding in a locker will hide your aura from the killer.
Distortion is a great way to learn what aura perks the killer has.
Calm Spirit will also prevent screams from The Clown and Iron Maiden.
The Legion isn't worth disconnecting over
-
This game was meant to reward stealth. If you did gens and constantly avoided the killer sight, you're working smarter, nor harder like the people who loop forever. I dont see why the game would thus say "you suck, de-pip!". Not that i ever looked to the Emblem system to judge a player's skill.
-
I mean, she's got anti-stealth a bit. if they dont use the fountain, you know what they're touching, and what they're vaulting over, plus the coughing isnt reduced by Iron Will/Calm Spirit (for whatever reason). That being said, her power's only so strong if survivor's are screwing each other over.
-
I love Kindred, on Ace i combine Kindred with Open-Handed...sadly when i solo some survivor's have little to no clue what to do with certain information and it feels like we almost ALWAYS get that survivor that runs straight into the killer highlighted in pink

Is that the same excuse you use for Bottany, Leader, We'll Make It or Empathy?
There are already strong counters to Thanatophobia but devs decided to just nerf it because survivors didnt want to change their Self-care, DS, Exhaustion, Adrenaline build.
please don't harass me, i play both sides...
-
I'm sure we ALL know that one Claudette
-
It's important to know when to play your role, if you're immersed when a survivor is in a chase, you're doing it wrong.
If you're aggressive when another survivor literally knocked down every pallet in the area like there was a seemingly endless supply, prepare to die.
Just know every second in this game counts, down to the millisecond in chase situations
Personally, i run around most of the match so i can get objectives and totems complete in the shortest amount of time, but i know how to make the most of a chase, and i have hook perks in case i go down regardless.

Autodidact is a counter to extreme anti-healing, survivors decide not to use it. Welcome to dbd.
Because it's highly unreliable due to requiring skill checks, also it's detrimental until the third skill check. Usually trying to get to the third skill check ends up in a killer tracking you or the injured survivor down and killing someone.
If the perk increased the chance of getting Healing Skill Checks, then it would be a worthwhile perk

Kindred, Open-Handed, Breakdown, Adrenaline
Kindred obviously punishes camping, Open-Handed helps when you're in an area with multiple floors and the terror radius can be masked despite not actually being far away.
Breakdown prevents the killer from hooking you in the same location if you were to be downed immediately, best case scenario the next hook is out of range and they're forced to slug you instead. Also, if anyone else were to take the fall for you, the killer is forced to change location, hopefully in a more preferable location, either way they're out one hook.
Adrenaline helps you run out if you were hooked before the last gen was completed and camped after. Combining this with Breakdown allows you to ensure you're running as far away from the killer in as short of a time as possible.

Literally this. Regardless of how unfair or OP the killer/build I'm facing, the first thought that always comes to mind is "how can I make the most out of this situation". Maybe I can get a couple hook saves and run the killer around for a bit, maybe I can push through a couple gens or maybe I'll get hatch in the end. There are endless possibilities to get a positive outcome out of a tough match if you just try. I never did and never will understand this quitter mentality that's so widespread in this community.
This is how i feel about every game as survivor. Sure some games can suck, sure some killers only care about making your games miserable ,but you gotta make do with that ya got, that's why we're called SURVIVORS not disconnectors.
-
well if they de-pip they get less try-hard killers...oh wait because camping killers de-pip too
-
Wat.
-
It all depends on the type of survivor you get, are they immersed or do they DC if they're the first one caught? If they make good use of their healing buff and dont get caught you're giving a survivor a fifth perk while having only 3 for yourself.
-
I'm wondering how the new pipping system is affecting fellow survivors. I've been stuck around 10 and 11 for the past couple of days.
@fluffybunny I used to get rank 1 even when i first played the game, if this system stays its definitely not gonna happen anymore. I'm already down to rank 6...not that i really mind, less try-hard killers for me

Well, as a fan of Evil Dead, both the films and the three seasons of the Showtime series, I hope it's a fake leak.
Ash in DbD would be stupid. Ash running around, looping a killer, kneeling in front of generators. Okay, right. That's Ash.
Someone like Ash would be a better fit into a game where the survivors can actually fight back against the Killer. I could not play Ash as someone who only runs around from a killer like a scared rabbit.
Survivor's dont run away from killer's like scared rabbits, they willingly taunt the killer and challenge them in a game of cat and mouse
-
They should just add UI in the lobbies so you can see what [ perks/items/add-ons ] your teammates have. This would fix multiple issues with miscommunication from solo survivor's and will let people that run certain perks such as Wake Up! to actually have better usage out of their perks.
-
We do want pipping to be harder, but the conditions for emblems are not indicative of skill any sense of the word.
If you're a stealth master that does a ton of gens and leaves, you're gonna de-pip even if you worked hard to not get caught.
Stealth is not awarded in this game. Doubly so, since if you don't get injured or hooked, your teammates cant gain Benevolence.
Personally, I dont want to pip. Give me all the easy games i can get without the tryhard top-tier killers all up on me.

Not sure about this but on a different note, Iron Will doesn't work on plague sickness. It would be nice if it did.
Neither Iron Will or Calm Spirit, even when together. I would also appreciate if they changed this

You should be chased during the game not after.
Thats not how Dead By Daylight works, the game isnt over until it's over. End-Game isnt post-game.
-
The issue is, with the new emblem changes, the survivor's actually do need you to chase them out or everyone de-pips
-
If you escape and still de-pip by multiple emblems, there's an issue. You dont want good survivor's in low ranks, enraging killers that have yet to get better.

They said Optimization was gradual over multiple patches, they'll probably find a way to further optimize portions of the game to restore graphical fidelity...but we all know this isn't the prettiest of games (sadly)
