@KingOfBadRNG But all of the other chapters had their trailers release at least a day or two before their PTB went live. This is the first trailer that hasn't released before the PTB.

I don't know how long I played exactly, I'm a PS4 player, but I can assume it was at least 200 hours. I've played almost every day since the Archives came out and spent most if not all of my free time on it when I did play. I'm happy with the cosmetics I got and don't really regret buying the Rift Pass, but man am I burnt out on DBD after that grind. They definitely did not make this something the average player could complete with 1-2 hours a day playtime.

It's early to tell for sure, but I think the removal of the modes is going to be great for playing Doctor and making the passive Static Field into the active Static Burst seems to make it less annoying for survivors and more consistent for killers, though I think the cool down is a bit too long.

Legion is viable at high ranks 20-10, but can get bullied pretty easily by more experienced players. I absolutely love Legion, they're the second killer I ever got to P3-50, and they're high movement gameplay can be very fun, but they sadly aren't really able to do much. I mean sure you can find where everyone is with Killer Instinct, but getting that first hit in on a looping survivor can be difficult if they know what they're doing and making a single mistake after that completely removed the ability. On top of that you can run around injuring everyone with FF, but once you get to the last survivor it's just a normal chase while the other three have already mended and are either healing or working on gens.
I love Legion, but he's just not strong enough at lower ranks to be viable, at least not as he is now. He desperately needs some tweaks to make him better at actually pressuring the survivors.

Honestly removing the passive Static Field seems like a good change all around, it was ridiculously annoying for survivors and often useless for killers do to the random nature of it procing. The new Static Blast on the other hand guarantees any survivor in your Terror Radius will tier up, unless already at tier three, meaning it forces a scream. That means you are assured that if they're within your Terror Radius then you will see them, but if you don't hear screams then you move on. The 60 second cool down does seem a bit extreme though, I think that should be reduced to 30-45 seconds personally, but we'll have to see in game.
On top of that the removal of Treatment and Punishment modes means that you are a 115% speed killer that can use your Shock Therapy to deny vaults and pallet drops in chase and then get a hit in without having to switch modes. This honestly seems like a massive buff to me, I mean now the Doctor will actually be able to use his power as it was intended from the start: chase survivor to a loop, shock the survivor last second to deny the loop, hit the survivor while they're screaming, and move on with the chase. The removal of the time needed to switch modes as well as the increase in movement speed while using Shock Therapy honestly sounds amazing to me.
Honestly I've hated playing as or against the Doctor from the day I got the game, his passive ability was frustrating and his need to switch modes completely ruined his power, but I'm honestly excited for these new changes to go live. I honestly think this will be a more fun and balanced Doctor for both survivors and killers.

Play Dwight. Bond + Prove Thyself makes finding gens people are on easy and you pop them quickly so you can move on to the next before another gen pops. This challenge does require some luck, but with the right perks it's not all that bad.

@Rydog I can understand that, Kindred helps people to know when a killer is camping, and that's good knowledge to have, but I'm not sure whether that's something a stealth killer should be able to do or not. I mean Pig is great at sneak attacking a survivor when they go to unhook, and it's a bit cheap, but I'm not sure if it's something that should be allowed or not, and Alert I think will mostly work the same anyway, because most killers are unstealthed when they kick pallets one way or the other, and if a killer is doing it in stealth with no Survivors around then it makes sense they would still be Undetected.

@typervader Yeah, that would be strange, though I do have to point out that they left details out of his power, such as it's name and icon, so they might not have shown it all in the live stream.
That is true, but that's part of his tunneling power, because he can only sense people while standing on a portal, and it only connects to the opposite portal.

@rayoxium TAG is right I think. It says it protects from aura reveling perks, like OoO, but it doesn't say it protects from detection perks like Spinechill. It's still a great QoL change, but it isn't completely foolproof. Also it's stated in the post that only the new killer, The Demomgorgon, will have this status affect when Chapter 13 releases, and that other killers, like Wraith, Pig, and Ghostface, will gain it in future chapter/mid-chapter patches where appropriate.

@typervader Yeah, that very well might be the case. I hope he can crouch for Undetected, like Piggy, but it seems more likely to be a short window either while or after teleporting.

@HatCreature Yeah, I agree with TAG. It says in the update and the live stream that the survivors are affected by Oblivious when interacting with the portals, I seriously doubt that is the same as Undetected, because Oblivious only affects one survivor at a time, so it would take all four survivors being Oblivious to get Undetected, it wouldn't make sense for one survivor being Oblivious to the killer for him to no longer have a terror radius or red stain for all survivors.

@iMichael I know that rumors and speculation has been going around that he would crawl on all fours thanks to the trailer showing him on all fours, but I watched the live stream twice and they never mentioned it in the power overview, they also never named the power, showed an icon for it, or anything like that.

While I really hope that isn't the case, I have to admit that it does seem likely that the leak has served as as much of a teaser as we could hope for.

Actually it didn't save the horror genre. It saved and redefined the slasher subgenre, but even without Scream we would still have plenty of horror, just less meta and much fewer slashers.

Honestly Scream is my favorite horror franchise and Ghostface is probably my favorite slasher, but I agree that the new design is amazing. Don't get me wrong, I'm still holding out hope for a black robe cosmetic, but this new grey butcher design is really cool and scary and I think it fits the playstyle of the new killer.

I love anarchy753's idea here. It makes sense to start off weak in a game like this, but as you master your character you should get higher grade perks.

I'm all for this. I've had Legion setting at level 50 for days but haven't prestiged them, would love to actually have a reason to rather than feeling like I'm just resetting my character for a new cosmetic.

I actually love Ghostface's outfits. I agree that the bright colors don't really help with stealth, but the new design is interesting and breaths new life into the character.
I think the idea is that if the survivor looks at where you are you lose your power, even if the player doesn't notice you, so I don't think the colors really matter with his stealth, I'm pretty sure that if the camera faces you you've already failed the stealth.

I agree though, Laurie definitely looks older in DBD, but I think that's more because they didn't have Jamie Lee Curtis's permission to use her likeness, so they had to change the model up a bit.

Isn't Laurie's outfit straight out of the original 1978 movie? That would put Laurie at 17 and Micheal at 21. These pictures are from the original 1978 movie, they show both of the outfits in DBD in that original movie.
