As I suggested tweak her add ons and remove that auto aim and nurse will probably be in a much better spot rather than having her own tier cause she's that strong.Auto aim was removed quite some time ago already.
Try to play her in her current state, she has changed a lil
Aye RSB pointed that one out to me about her auto aim, however the problem still stands that at high ranks only two killers are viable properly being the billy and the nurse either the survivors need to be nerfed with nurse and billy to make the other killers viable, or the other killers need some buffing but that risks a greater game imbalance.
And to clarify im giving my experience based on facing her which is watching her completely negate any type of defence (excluding DS but I refuse to run that garbage). I have never played nurse so I cant give any experience from the side of playing her.
I strongly suggest trying to learn her. This way you can learn how to counter her too (the key is breaking LoS)

Will be bad for lagswitchers

In over 2 years of playing DBD I have encountered only 2 laggswitchers. Most of the time when a survivor is crying about laggswitching, its hsi sister fault for starting a netflix stream or sth.
What I am concerned about is the impact dedicated servers will have on stuff like 360s, huntress hatchets etc. I already had quite some bad experiences in certain shooters where you actually had an advantage if you play with a ~200 ping
@Master
Yeah, but i'm pretty sure that i've played more as a survivor than you, meaning that i've had to deal with a few more. And no, it wasn't because my internet.
Not only that, random lagspikes even when the ping is green. Impossible hits 3 meters away and behind the killer, etc...
If you have a decent internet connection i think you shouldn't worry about it, we'll see anyway.Laggspikes is not laggswitching.
No matter how decent my connection is, that doesnt change that fact that the game doesnt run on real time on my own computer anymore which means that 360ing will be delayed on ym screen, but I still need to hit a survivor moving at light speed around me

And regarding shooters, as I said, in rainbow (in the beginning) you could gain an advantage by increasing your ping since you were able to walk out cover before the enemy even sees you. Guess how such an implementation would affect huntress hitboxes

Nurse is a character who is impossible to deal with these advantages. Tanatophobia - Ruin - The Nurse's Call - Barbecue and Chilli
With three blinks, there is simply no game. There is no way to make generators and this is frustrating too. There is no counter of it. Pallets, jukes are simply impossible with add-ons.In rank 1 there is practically only Nurse and Hillbilly in the game, my biggest regret was to have picked up that rank.
The official tournament has shown that nurse is the only killer who can keep up with tryhard SWF.
The devs also said that not all killers are supposed to be viable (or on the billy/nurse lvl), but that doesnt mean that there shouldnt be any viable killers at all -

Yeah, it will be interesting.
1 time they test a new hitbox for huntress hatches.
But after 1 week, they removed it.
Because it was buggy and rly frustrating.
DbD Devs and new big things are always interesting.Well the problem with dedicated servers is that they cant simply remove them after 1 week again. They need to do everything perfectly on the first try or we will have very big issues that will remain for quite some time in the game. Knowing BHVRs history, I have my doubts whether they can achieve that.....

You have a 3/4/5% increase in struggle progression against killer.
You get bonus 50/75/100% increased struggle time in the 2nd sacrifice state.Pretty much just an anti camping perk, but one for people who love button mashing.
How is that anti camping?
If the killre camped you, then you wouldnt have got off the hook in the first place. Also Id like to ask you one simple question. Do you like being slugged? Because thats whats gonna happen if you overtune struggling and deny hooks

I still get lobbies really fast, so I assume that the killer population is decreasing too?

Most of us say it. "There's really no point in getting rank 1, you don't get anything."But that isn't completely true. Think about the first time you hit rank 1 (or even 5) and that achievement popped up. It felt great. And it was on the front page of my steam profile, showing everyone what i achieved. When i hit rank 1 killer, the next time i jumped into a group with my SWF, I immediately went "check out my steam profile" and showed off my new achievement.
Now imagine if every month you could get another? Imagine if those people spamming you that you're trash loaded your profile and saw 4 months of straight rank 1 achievements? I'de like that.
What do ya'll think?
I want ingame stuff, I dont really care about achievments.
Also they would need to rework the rank system first imo, right now its just a grind, no skill involved basically

And i get that, players might have very different opinions after playing both for a while.
But i've been playing Killer almost exclusively for a long time now, while i enjoyed Survivor a lot before. Now of course i don't have the right to say what Survivor should be, just a player.
But i started disliking where Survivors are going more and more as time went on.So now i wonder: What does the community think of a person who decides to not play Survivor anymore while playing both sides pretty equally before?
(I might throw in a game of Survivor every now and then, but it certainly won't come even close to being 50/50 Survivor/Killer playtime anymore.)Well it boils down to a simple question
DO killers need to get buffed? => filthy killer main
Do killers need to get nerfed? => filthy survivor main

So I was playing with a friend last night, running my usual build for BP (Self Care, WGLF, BT and WMI) and during these games I played my friend got killed because of either a bug or something I'm not aware was changed. In any of the recent patches, was Borrowed Time changed to be completely negated by instadowns? This happened on two occasions and both were against Leatherface (chance it could be just him, haven't had people to test with for other killers since it happened). It had never been like that, so I'm wondering is this a bug or a change I wasn't aware of?Borrowed time saves you only from the first hit, if you get hit again then you are down.
My guess is that your friend got hit twice by bubbas chainsawYes, I've already mentioned that they got hit twice. I have also mentioned how, if I'm not mistaken, there should be a buffer period where you can't get hit during an unhook? Am I not right in saying that? If I am, my friend should have been able to take 3 hits and not 2.

Look, playing The Legion is bad enough at high ranks, but if you t-bag and emote at a Legion like you're some amazing player or something, I've got news for you. You're not. T-bagging at the exit gates against Legion is pointless, they already don't get a lot of kills so why do you have to rub salt in the wound? Being toxic like this at all just discourages people from buying the game and strengthens the stereotype that the DBD community is toxic. Now I'm not saying that killers aren't toxic, because a lot of them are, but when I'm just trying to enjoy myself with a few games it's frustrating when every game at least one survivor will choose to BM and be toxic. When you're toxic, it's not fun for anyone but you. That's why I don't use noed. Because I want the game to be fun for everyone.Dont play unviable killers and punish them for tbagigng instead.

I main killer, and I hate tunneling more than anything. It ruins a players experience. Losing, and having no chance in randoms is ridiculous. While all the skins, and new killers (however weak) are nice. The game needs some balance to the most fundamental aspects. I enjoy playing survivor, I've played a lot of it lately. I've put 650hrs into this game.Tunneling needs to be dealt with hard, especially with these events. Camping, I like where that is. If a killer wants to camp, fine, do gens survivors instead of trying to gang up on the hook. As for tunneling, that is a mess. Instead of rewarding for kills, the the killer needs to be rewarded on number of hooks, and even then it needs to be tweaked. If a survivor can make unsafe unhooks, I know you can make a tunnel stat that doesn't reward full points, and hurts an emblem. It gives the killer a choice, a kill or points.
On another note, I think the game would see less DC's that only hurt the other team because there is ZERO penalty for DC'ing which rewards this behavior. Depiping is NOT a penalty. It's a joke. Something needs to be done, and quickly. The fact that DbD is focused on spitting out skins and killers that "provide a different playstyle" than killing that is supposedly "fun" is frustrating.
Balance your game. Zero excuses. I've played this since infinite loops, and insta flashlights. C'mon now. I personally believe this game is showing signs of devolving in gameplay than growth.
Its been suggested several times. THere needs to be a benefit for hooking other survivors, some kind of genspeed debuff for example.
Right now, the game is balanced that way that you need to get rid of one survivor ASAP to be time efficient.
And btw, tunneling is just HOW you choose your target, the number of hooks doesnt change (that woud be camping)
And I really hope that BHVR finally gets their shizzle together and figures out a plan how to punish DCing once they have dedicated servers.

**Yeah. SWF isn't going anywhere. It's basically vital to any online game. **That doesn't mean it's not a means to break this game.
That also doesn't mean we can't have a decent dodge method, either filters or labels.
At the very least, compensate the killer for going against people harder than they should be at the rank, and/or make SWFs match make against higher ranked killers than usual.
The bolded part will never get through to the people that want an easier game or that removing SWF would kill the game.
Dodging would just be used as an excuse like always hey I don't like the character choice dodge, they brought a flashlight dodge etc.
The bloodpoit bonus is something that should be added with a x multiplier number at the bonus screen. They also need to match to the highest ranked player more. So if you have a rank 1 player and 3 rank 17'-20's you get at least a rank 8 or so killer.
Since DBD is a game where a survivor can 1vs1 the killer and SWF give you an insane advantage anyway, my suggestion would be to search for a killer at rank 1 in your scenario. (highest rank of swf members)

Eninya said:Rank resets are dumb and the crux of this issue.
I hate rank resets because I drop down and end up smashing people that are new and just trying to learn and enjoy the game, maybe explore around and have a fighting chance at living.
And then me, a previously rank 1 killer, comes in and bulldozes 5 random newbies.

I Ok, ypu need to stop... This game is for adults, presumably the kind who have played a video game before. There is no rule that new players are entitled to a welcome wagon and snuggles in their games. At this point, anyone JUST getting into the game knows what they signed up for, and it wasn't to be coddled.
Now granted, I hate rank reset too... because Ranks should not exist in a game that is not trully competitive in the first place. An assymetrical horror game does not scream "sport center" to me. The other problem is ranks and other fairly intangible rubrics are used to decide how weak and how strong something should be, because it must be prefaced with the illusion of balance in mind. If we could just get rid of the idea that a game where you can't possibly be properly prepared or adjusted for, at any given time, what killer you go against, what map you get, and other factors including perks and addons is supposed to be a competitively balanced game, then this game would be all the better for it and we could worry about things that are fun on both sides and accentuating those features, rather than focusing on the imbalances we don't like.
Camping and looping will always be in the game. So will D-strike and NOED. They aren't always fun to go against, but they are fun for those on the using end. I say that if there were enough fun, exciting, possibly risky ideas thrown into both sides, it would make the frustrations of this game pale compared to the fun factor.
Okay, you went on wild tangent there. My point is that I should be facing veterans, even at lower ranks, since everyone gets reset so often. I'm constantly facing lobbies of randoms where 1-2 people having only the base perks, or mixed tiers of the shared perks, and it's clear in-game that they're not seasoned in the slightest.
It isn't fun to 5-gen survivors, it really isn't. I know that's what people like Marth88 wanted, but there's no challenge in it. I resort to playing with my food, slugging people on their last hooks just to draw it out. I'm not someone that HAS to 4K every game, and I'm fine with 2-3K and a hatch escape. (Granted, I wish this sort of thing didn't hinge on how long Ruin lasts.)
The veterans will keep leaving the game as long as high-lvl gameplay is unfun and unbalanced.

I still find lobbies pretty fast

Hi killer main here I'd just like to start off by saying in my 1200 hours of DBD across all 3 platforms the only one which I encountered survivors who were toxic toxic was PS4. Other then on PC i have a solid 300 hours and I've had little to no end game toxicity other then when I play survivor and the killer goes "GG EZ noob team." on my 900 hours on xbox I have received 3 end game anger chats. Thats it. It really isn't survivors being toxic because most things survivors do is well needed to survive the match. Pallet looping, is needed to live, 360's is needed to live sometimes, blinds are meh in needs, DS is a basic perk that I haven't had much problem although that may just be luck, and unhooks and body blocking are just what any altruistic survivor would do. Unless a survivor is tea bagging and constantly flash light clicking they aren't being toxic they're just doing what they can to survive. I don't camp, tunnel, or anything I still get 4 k's at rank 2 and I know you may think you aren't camping or tunneling but waiting for a survivor to get unhooked when you can easily run back and kill them is camping as well. It isn't a free unhook if you're good.Ive tried to be a positive guy for the first 600 hours in this game.
After that the survivors managed to break me

bad legions will "break" chases just to force the survivor to not be able to continue running/mend. Its similar to how Lithe sometimes decides to not work because it doesnt think you're in a chase.
You mean he breaks the chase, baits the survivor into mending and then he comes again to waste a few second of the timer, then repeat?
Yeah sounds like a totally viable strategy...... if you wanna lose the game
No, he breaks the chase, then slowly follows their scratch marks/blood without actually looking at them, causing the wound timer to decrease while still being very closeby. Then the survivor is forced to mend right near him, so he just turns around and hits them. Most people do this by moonwalking, but all you need to do is not maintain regain LoS of the survivor while following them.
Unfortunately the game has no way to detect when its happening and when legion just can't find the survivor, so its borderline an exploit but not one directly condemned by the devs so it's allowed. There are ways it can be adjusted like having his TR affect the deep wounds bleedout, but as it stands now it's the most guaranteed down in the game, even though its directly opposed to his intended playstyle.
Well just lose the killer if hes moonwalking, he is literally walking blind then
