My name here is actually based on my Surname and used a lot more frequently in games nowadays (Stevo / StevoTheTroll / StevoTheTrolll <twitch name was taken, used 3 L’s instead>, I was dubbed the troll by a lot of friends in my teens and it just sorta stuck), though I can’t quite remember why 9 year old me thought my PSN (crack_it_up-94) was a good name. 1994 isn’t even my year of birth nor anyone in my immediate family lol. I got nothing for that one.
-
Yeah, I’ve just moved back to PC and started streaming it instead of PS4... lasted three streams before someone said the n-word in chat. Survivors were being toxic post game chat with the usual “ggez trash killer” sort of thing (vs Legion, 4 escapes I think) but ended up driving the killer to the point where they said some pretty bad things including but not limited to the above. I’ve had other various cringe moments on PS4, best one that I can remember was getting reported for using my ears and finding someone in a locker because of Crows.
-
I don’t think I’ve broke Tier 10 on either PC or PS4 yet, not out of Tome I either, though I think I need to do one challenge on PC to get to Tome II maybe? Not really sure how it works tbh but I’m aiming to get to 30 vials on PC so I can start using my Huntress as I did on PS4 :)
-
This seems pretty typical tbh. As many have pointed out, bodyblocking by itself isn’t bannable. The best thing you can do is ignore it and move on. Same goes for trash talking post game. Just don’t be like one particular killer I had on Saturday who is probably going to get banned for fighting back against trash talk a little bit too much. I wasn’t the one trash talking, though I did happen to spectate it while streaming and uh... let’s say chat had to be closed VERY quickly.

Wait wat? Since when does it rush gens? It always been finding the hatch for me
That’s what it used to do. It gave the last survivor a +75% repair speed at tier 3 per generator that needed completed. It wasn’t terrible before the EGC as if the hatch hadn’t spawned until two gens got done, that boost could have gotten you an escape in a hard to win scenario, though post EGC it was basically useless because the hatch spawns regardless of how many gens are done for the last person alive, meaning there was no point to do a generator, meaning the perk had zero use whatsoever. Why go for a gen when you are pretty much forced to go for the hatch (or door of the killer closes it) if you want to escape? That’s pretty much why it got changed to what it is now, it’s still pretty weak if I’m honest but it at least is able to function as a perk and not a waste of space.
-
From personal experience, I pretty much don’t care and just play. I myself stream this game sometimes, but since I stream on PS4 people probably won’t know I’m a streamer unless they go out of their way to check profiles or have already tuned into my stream because not only do I not have TTV in my name, but my PSN doesn’t even match my twitch name either. Haven’t played PC version since early 2018 I’m pretty sure, can’t really remember what happened when I played over there.

It used to be a 4k back when the victory cube system was in place for ranking up as killer. The change wasn't an intentional decision on the devs' part to make the achievement more difficult, but simply an unfortunate side effect of the ranking system overhaul which was an attempt to make rank more reflective of players' ingame proficiency.
I’m aware that it was an unintended side effect of the victory cube being replaced with the emblem system, hell, before Nea / The Nurse came out, the requirement was to unlock any tier of the perks 6 times, which was laughable honestly since there basically wasn’t any challenge, just play the character you were most comfortable using and spend the BP elsewhere.
That doesn’t change the fact that they didn't even acknowledge achievements (that I know of at least) whenever the emblems system came out. They shouldn’t have inconsistent conditions between roles. It should either be both sides require a double pip to get it or both sides complete their objective to get it. Not a mix of both.
I can’t remember if these counted since I haven’t done an adept survivor recently, though Hatch escapes shouldn’t count for survivors either imo. I used to think they should, but since the hatch can spawn at any time now if you are last alive, you could luck out having done practically nothing...
I know achievements are pretty insignificant and are probably the least of the devs’ worries currently, but I still don’t think they should have different conditions between roles. Adept for objective completion or adept for a double pip. One or the other. Not both.
-
The biggest problem is that survivors’ adepts are consistent - you just have to escape, no matter what rank you are. Killer however is a different story. Not only do you have to use a setup of perks you may not be well acquainted with, let alone that they probably don’t slow the game down at all, but the difficulty scales with rank a lot more than Survivor does. Not only do your opponents tend to be better and more ruthless in doing generators quicker, but the emblem system also requires you get more emblem points to satisfy the requirements to get the adept. It’s really dumb imo.
-
I would probably return to the PC version of the game when I have the chance to, though the thought of being so far behind really puts me off going back to it. I haven’t played PC since January of 2018, meaning I’ve missed everything from the SAW Chapter onwards there. I’ve got a lot more characters with a lot more perks on PS4 and I absolutely don’t want to buy the DLCs I have missed on PC. Not a chance am I sinking more money into content I already own elsewhere. I’ve done it once before and I refuse to do it a second time. Cross-Platform Progression would be amazing, though I sincerely doubt it will ever be implemented.
-
Simply because I have to employ a different style of play to “the norm” of looping until the killer gets bored and gives up or you run out of pallets. I don’t enjoy playing against spirit but they do at least make for a different experience to the other 15 killers.

Unless you pull a jerk and bodyblock. One Dude legit wouldn't jump over pallet and I was wedged in between killer and him, so once he finally jumped over, I tried but I got hit, dude left me for dead, didn't even look back, It kind of hurt on the inside.
I have had similar things happen to me in the past, worst one in particular the window in Suffocation Pit’s main building window where the chest usually is. A Claudette (of course it was) blocked the window until the hillbilly sawed me to the ground... and put me in the basement. She even teabagged at the window, I don’t know what her problem was, but I still got out thankfully since the billy wasn’t camping. I have died in other cases but some of them are accidental, e.g. trying to take a hit for an injured teammate but timing it wrong to the point where you block them instead of the killer... *definitely not guilty of that...*
-
Given I play for points on a regular basis, unless the unhook will be easy to make and I can guarantee that I can make it back to the door / hatch, I’m not likely to risk 5000 or 7000 BP for the chance of getting an extra 1500. I have actually been told off by others for doing this, but it’s not my fault they got caught.
-
I’ve said it before elsewhere and I’ll say it again here: This is, in my opinion, the worst event they’ve done to date.
Don’t get me wrong, last year’s event wasn’t great by any means either. The fact that survivors were competing with each other for serum kinda ruined most games as there were very few, if any, generators done. People would suicide first hook if they filled or didn’t get any serum just to speed things up, also the fact it forced you to play both sides to benefit from it wasn’t a smart idea (though they did change this due to queue times as killer being awful). That, however, felt like an event. It had its own additional lore, the cosmetics were much better last year, Everything about the visuals were better last year too.
This “event” meanwhile is the most shoddy event in any game I’ve played. Ever. Not only does it feel like less of an event due to the visuals not being as interesting, but the cosmetics aren’t great, never mind the giant red flag of them being released to the store for auric cells two weeks in advance, serum is attached to something completely unrelated to the event itself, not even counting that it’s attached to the rift of all things which in my opinion is literally the worst thing that they could have done. I know this is (possibly was, haven’t played since 3.3.2 came out) an issue on PS4, not sure about elsewhere, but the petals may as well do nothing. You don’t even get the points for event gens or hooks I’m fairly sure. I could at least say last year that it was sometimes fun and was an interesting concept that could have been reworked.
TL;DR - I genuinely feel like they didn’t even try this time around. I feel like this is the one time where I can say “0/10, literally unplayable” unironically.
-
While I usually play solo and do use prove thyself in a lot of my builds for easy objective points, I have actually found myself using Better Together a lot with it. Instead of me having to find people to work on gens with, they can see where I am instead. I also see where people are in relation to someone who has just gone down so I can gauge whether I need to run for the save or continue working on at the gen I’d already been on.
-
I’m really disappointed by the event, if you can even call it that. I agree that while the plants from last year were a really cool concept, but terrible in practice due to survivors effectively competing with each other never mind the killer, at least it felt like an event. This year it just feels lazily thrown out with the rift. They also reduced the BP earned compared to previous “events” of this type for some reason. That’s not even including the fact that on PS4, at least when I last played, the event generators didn’t even give you the extra points they supposedly are meant to give you.
I had thought about buying the premium rift, though the archive challenges made it an absolute turn off given I don’t devote every minute of my free time to finding games never mind playing them with a large amount of luck dependent challenges. With a bunch of new games coming out soon too, I’d rather spend time on those than grinding out a losing battle. Not saying I’m quitting, just saying that for something that is meant to include casual players, it doesn’t feel very inclusive.

Yes happens regularly for me actually I also made a post on this and was accused of tagging by people and that I needed to "escape and not wait at the exit" instead of some people establishing that it was a bug and happens even when you exit. You should report it in the bug section that was the best advice given to me by someone with an actual sensible mind on here but as of now this bug has been around for several weeks and nothing has been done.
I know of this bug, though I haven’t had it happen to me recently since I don’t see killers DC’ing as often as I do survivors, though this bug has been around a LOT longer than a few weeks. It’s been here for around two years at this point. I’ve reported it on several occasions and it even got fixed temporarily but broke again the patch that came after the fix. You can try reporting it as a bug, though at this point I sincerely doubt much will be done about it. Annoying when it happens, especially when point offerings are in play, but not much you can do about it since it can happen at any point in the game entirely at the killer’s disposal.
-
I think the main problem is that once you know Overcharge is in play, you pretty much know you’re going to get a skillcheck upon touching a regressing gen. Really isn’t that hard to hit unless Unnerving is also in play... though why run two, possibly three if you count distressing too, sure, infinite uses, though Ruin and Pop are always going to be better options. They slow gens far better than overcharge does and they don’t require other perks to be useful.
-
Particularly 7 And 8 I have the most fun in, the killer’s are competent, as are survivors, but neither side take themselves too seriously. Also, RIP Yellow ranks (13-16) :(
-
Rank is quite possibly one of the most meaningless things in the game currently. It’s a sign which basically says “Congratulations! You have played the game enough to reach here. Your reward is less enjoyable and less frequent games!”... currently Rank 4 survivor and the queue times were painful when I last played. I haven’t played much killer this season... currently Rank 9 I think. (PS4)
-
Not counting all the instances where I’ve been reported for a perk, looping, teabagging, genrushing, farming (as killer), camping or tunneling, best ones for me are as follows:
Killer: finding someone who had been hiding in a locker who also had two crows. I heard them after hooking someone less than 10 meters away. Apparently I was cheating for using my ears.
Survivor: I have been reported on several occasions for making no attempt to save versus an insidious Leatherface or a killer waiting to one-hit whoever comes over for the save first. I’m altruistic when it makes sense to be altruistic, not when people want me to be altruistic, potentially getting one or more of us killed. From my perspective, if it costs you a hook state, so be it, it’s better than screwing the rest of the team just because you want saved at a bad time just to save yourself a hook state.
-
You can be reported for literally anything in this game, though you can only be banned for the breaking rules set by the devs and nobody else. I’ve been reported because I found someone hiding in a locker who had crows. I’ve also been reported for using OoO once in the past. Some reasons people report you for are hilarious but 9/10 times they don’t have any ground to stand on. Blocking isn’t bannable on the condition that it’s not excessive. From what I can tell, you killed them fairly quickly so I doubt anything will come of it.
-
I’ve had this happen to me once in the time I’ve played DBD... it sucks when it happens, but like you say, it’s better for you to laugh it off than to get annoyed over it yourself.
It was a Wraith who got no kills, I had No Mither, Self Care, OoO and old Left Behind, solo survivor at the time. I think I teabagged to get him to chase me earlier in the game, think I was deranking possibly, though they didn’t seem interested in chasing me so I just did gens instead. 3 people out, me and the wraith standing at the hatch, I mindgame him at the shack and escape through the door instead. Next encounter with me using the same build he facecamped, spammed hits while I was on the hook and tunneled like there was no tomorrow. Plus a flurry of messages afterwards. Only one other person died that game, to NOED no less. Fun times.
TL;DR - Not much you can do aside from hope that your team try to help in some way or another to keep you alive. Laugh it off as you successfully getting to them.

Not to bash the perk or anything, but a survivor on hook is only SUPPOSE to live for 2 minutes, not 2 minutes 10 seconds. The only thing I'm finding odd is the inconsistency of time.
Yeah, Like I’d said initially, it’s not a significant problem to begin with. Couple of people have already mentioned how they would fix it, it’s just how much attention the Devs pay to this sort of issue. They have much higher priority issues that need tended to than this one, though I completely agree that the consistency is what annoys me.

So its SHORTER than 1 minute for hook phase?
No, the hook timer is still 1 minute for each phase, there’s just no 5-second scream pausing the timer as the survivor gets hooked. Like I say, it’s not a significant problem, Survivors just have to save a little quicker.
Basically the hook timer is 60 seconds on summoning, 60 seconds on struggling. Depending on if you’re hooked incentive or twice before being sacrificed, there’s also an additional 5 or 10 seconds added due to the “Hooked” animation pausing the timer for it’s duration.
-
@LordGlint said:
How did you even notice the difference? Anyway youd be willing to make a video of this?
The difference is actually fairly noticeable. You lose the entirety of the scream audio and animation from your survivor getting hooked, which also acts as a buffer before the timer starts. It’s only about 10 seconds loss overall on hook time, but it’s very easy to tell the difference on second hook in particular as you start struggling the second you go onto the hook instead of around 5 seconds after when your survivor is done screaming. Doubt anything will happen any time soon as it isn’t a significant problem.

Usually I don’t bring items, If you catch me with an item, it’s probably from a chest (I like using Plunderer’s, Ace in the Hole and Streetwise) or I’ve forgotten to take it off, though in the chance I do go out of my way to use one it’s either a Medkit or Toolbox. Since I’m a gen jockey, toolboxes are my go to most of the time. Usually though I just hoard them or donate them if people want anything... provided I have more than one of the item :)
-
Been there, done that plenty of times before. Still sucks really bad when it happens. Hurts more if NOED isn’t even being used.
If I were to give my take from the killer side of things I’d definitely say seeing any hex totem spawn literally opposite or beside a generator. Bonus points if it was where the survivors spawned... at the other end of the map...
-
Most people I know thought that Exposed meant their aura was being shown to the killer, hence their current location was exposed to the killer. For experienced players it won’t make an ounce of difference, though from my experience into does seem to be misleading for lesser informed or newer players.

Did you just say the DS rework was unnecessary? DS absolutely needed changes. I still think it's a tad strong right now...
... but I agree with everything else.
No, I didn’t say it’s unnecessary, if I did, that’s an autocorrect that I mustn't have spotted, because the DS rework was very necessary. I’ll edit it if it was wrong. Using mobile and predictive text is not fun, specifically when using this site.
Edit: Comment was correct initially, you might have just misread or misinterpreted what I said. Don’t blame you tbh, it is a wall of text after all :)

I prestiged characters when I played on the PC version, and I also P3’d Ace (main) and Claudette (for the memes) after switching tin PS4, but I haven’t played prestiged any other character, despite the fact I do play more than just those two (don’t even use Claudette that often which is the sad part). I just don’t have the time or patience to get everyone P3, so I’ve resorted to going for all perks on the characters I Play, which in itself is taking a long time. Just ain’t worth it for some bloody cosmetics imo.
-
Devotion 3 Lv71... I played a lot more before devotion was a thing, since then I’ve had less time to play due to other commitments so... 🤷♂️
-
Usually a gen jockey, only go for saves when I feel like nobody else is going to. I also fall under the find a key and survival of the fittest category when I’m using my items build, mostly as a side effect of the build itself giving more keys than it probably should.

i appreciate the feedback, im less survivor than killer but i switched so i can enjoy being scared by chainsaws for the month of october. Adrenaline has always been a nice perk to unlock, I may switch to meg then to prioritize it as my first shareable perk. what are the other ways to heal? Or the other more useful perks in your opinion?
I made a full list in a comment above here in all other ways to deal with being injured.
Adrenaline is regarded as one of the meta perks currently, since it heals you one health state for your team doing your primary objective in the event you are injured or dying, as well as giving you the 5 second speed boost. I personally don’t use it, though when playing killer I usually see this on at least two survivors.
Some perks require you to run them, others require other survivors to run them, but the best one currently in my opinion is Nancy’s perk Inner Strength as it incentivises removing totems to get a health state for going into a locker for half the standard healing time, or a quarter of the self care healing time. If you don’t own Nancy though you could always go for Botany Knowledge (Claudette) / Streetwise (Nea) and a Medkit to heal yourself, or use Leader (Dwight) to give those healing you 25% better healing speed. For the full list, see my wall of text further up in this thread :)
-
I’m gonna add another “No” here. Just to clear something up, I’m a survivor main. Currently Rank 3 Survivor and Rank 6 Killer (<- Queue times are trash on PS4 at Rank 3 Survivor).
NOED rewards Killers who aren’t confident about their ability and can also act as a really good late game option paired with the likes of Blood Warden. It should absolutely not be changed because if dealt with correctly, it won’t activate. Ever. If you seriously doubt your teams ability to destroy up to 5 dull totems (less if more hexes are in play), then run small game, Detective’s hunch or a map as others have said.
It’s annoying when you put the work in for four totems and the fifth happens to be NOED, sure, but that’s not your fault, nor the killer’s. Your team have not done you any favours. Yeah, it’ll suck if you have to leave someone behind or get left behind yourself, but if the totems were destroyed you wouldn’t be in that situation in the first place.
Also it’s not as if survivors have more than plenty second chances too. Guess what, they mostly have work arounds too. You don’t see killers moan about X perk being OP nearly as often ever since the reworks of DS and MoM, both of which were very necessary. NOED used to be much worse for survivors, back before hexes even came into play. It used to be a flat 2 minute time period of instadowns similar to how Hope works. It also got nerfed as a hex either once or twice. It now has a counterplay, which some people willingly ignore because... reasons.
In short, if you come to expect NOED in every game, you get into the mindset of removing all dulls as a priority. This will obviously mean less deaths to NOED while gens take a little longer than normal. Only one survivor needs to look for totems, though Inner Strength is a good incentive to remove all the totems too so you get a health state on demand while lessening the chances of NOED causing problems later.
-
I wish I could select two here to be honest. Slugging and Tunneling are both lame and boring for the survivor targeted, but all of the things listed are still valid tactics, all of which can be punished.
Camping = do gens
Tunneling = use DS to either get off shoulder or stall for a minute
Slugging = use No Mither and / or Unbreakable.
Hex Ruin = destroy the totem or just hit great skill checks. This one I find amusing when people complain about it, since it’s usually because they either aren’t good enough at skill checks or they can’t be bothered to find the totem. Not even the killer’s problem tbh.
Addons are an iffy one. Prayer Beads are BS, I’ll give you that, though I’ve never had a huge problem with a killer using OP addons. Sure, it may sway the game in their favour, but that’s kind of the point. They’re meant to make it harder for survivors or at the very least give a different experience to the norm. With instaheals being nerfed, I imagine the outcry to get some killer addons nerfed will be about as bad as when BNP got nerfed to oblivion, I’ve seen that one thread where the comparison of One Hit Downs to instaheals was made (lol) and I wouldn’t be surprised if something dumb came from it. Anyways, back on topic, a lot of addons are usually identifiable and play styles usually can be adjusted to suit it without too much difficulty.
TL;DR - Slugging and Tunneling are lame for the person targeted but all of the above are perfectly legal and can be punished in some way or another.
-
I would say Legion. Literally have not seen one of these since August (PS4). Don’t know whether it’s because Legion is bad or whether I have a very strange bout of luck? I’ve seen at least 10 clowns but not a single Legion. This is between ranks 12 and 3, across two “seasons” pretty much. I don’t play Legion either as killer but I didn’t think they were that unpopular.
-
I personally am of the opinion that it’s a lame strategy for the survivor getting tunneled, but it’s still perfectly valid. If the killer wants to make their life a bit easier then removing one survivor as early as possible is the best way of doing so. Sucks for the person targeted, sure, but it’s far from “Wrong”.

when did this nerf happen and what changed? I didnt realize this isnt the most important perk to learn first anymore.
I switched from xbox to pc so im starting from nothing in my perk pool, but during the switch i was on hiatus from dbd since after summer bbq event (ill miss my pro-pain hammer)
The nerf happened a while back, can’t remember exactly when, though healing was changed from 12 to 16 seconds, which translated to self care Speed is 24 to 32 seconds. There’s far more worthwhile ways to get healed, heck, a lot of people don’t heal at all just so they can rush gens and get Adrenaline to pop. It can still have it’s benefits of infinite use and not require a teammate, it just takes a lot more time than someone else healing you or just powering through gens.
-
Used to main Leatherface and Wraith. Now main Huntress because of the outfit from last year’s Halloween event, though I still play other killers from time to time just because i like their powers.
-
I personally like this more. Survivors who don’t have Spine Chill and the equivalent will be easier to sneak up on or stalk. Frees up a perk space if you intend on using a scratched mirror since you’ll no longer have a terror radius in T1. In saying that my opinion probably shouldn’t count since I’m a PS4 survivor main, though I don’t really use spine chill anyway so I won’t be affected by the change on that particular front.
-
While I personally think NOED is balanced as it is, a totem count would be a good QoL change for solos, given SWF will have this information anyway. It’d be better than having to guess if your team were competent enough to look for totems or not just to get screwed over because they didn’t. Worst thing is when you as an individual cleanse 4 totems and get killed because of NOED. One of the worst feelings in the game without a doubt.
-
I’ll play Stealthy when on my own, and loop the killer where necessary, though when in SWF, I would usually spend more time in chases to buy the rest more time on gens since they don’t have the ability to do the same but with the roles reversed usually. Then again I do play this game considerably more often than them, so it’s something I’ve just kinda got used to over time.
-
I used to use it before the healing nerf, though nowadays I would occasionally randomise my perk loadout and would use self care if I got it then. I would also sometimes use it with No Mither for the memes, but I would never willingly choose this perk for a proper loadout. Too much of a waste of time. You can find someone else or heal via a medkit quicker, or alternatively not heal at all and wait for Adrenaline or reap the benefits of Resilience and other perks which require you to be injured. Been recently enjoying using Better Together which can also help teammates find you without perks of their own. Quite a list of options better than self care really.
Bond - find teammates to get them to heal
Empathy - find other injured teammates or avoid those who are injured and being chased, better idea of where not to go so staying injured isn’t as risky.
Adrenaline - who needs healing (when injured specifically) when it’s not a part of the survivors objective? Just do gens fast and you’ll get a health state for doing the primary objective.
Inner Strength - Doing a secondary objective to have an on demand health state is always nice. While it’s capped at 5 uses, it still helps encourage removing totems.
Better Together - As I explained above, this can help teammates locate you while doing the primary objective. You also get a glimpse of where the two remaining survivors are if the third one goes down while you are doing a gen.
Finding a teammate while using Leader - Heals take less time for those healing you. Stacked with perks of their own can increase that further.
A Medkit - heals you over double the speed of self care, though has limited uses. Charge addons or Speed addons also further this one. Botany and Streetwise increase efficiency more than Self Care does too.
One of your teammates runs We’ll Make It and / or Botany Knowledge. One makes heals take 8 seconds after an unhook, the other brings it down to ~12 seconds I believe. You don’t even have to have anything in this case aside from finding the survivor running one of these.
Pharmacy (+ Plunderer’s if you struggle to find chests) - Guaranteed Green Medkit, though relies on teammates not finding and taking chests first.
Perks which have the prerequisite of being injured - Resilience, This is Not Happening, Dead Hard can all only be used while injured. I personally like combining No Mither with at least one of these.
Only benefits to using self care is that your team doesn’t need to leave a gen to heal you and it can be used infinitely... not much else going for it really since it’s simply outclassed by other options.
TL;DR - Self Care is arguably one of, if not, the worst of about 10 different ways to get healed. Not worth using in a loadout you want to do well with. Sorry for the wall of text. There’s probably errors too since predictive text is beyond drunk on mobile 🤷♂️
-
While I personally find tunneling much more annoying than camping, both are perfectly valid tactics.
The way people should really see camping is that’s they are giving their team time to do generators. If your teammates want to waste time on a camped survivor that’s on them. Camping is very punishable, but nobody seems to believe that it is punishable... for some reason. The only killer that can “Facecamp” per se is Leatherface. Annoying? Yes. Preventable? Yes. Punishable if it happens? You know it!
Punishing a killer over something that is already very situational, gets punished in the emblems system and works only when their opponents allow it to is flat out dumb, rewarding survivors for it arguably even more so, considering that when the first survivor gets camped, 4 gens could get done in that time by the remaining 3 survivors and that’s not even taking into consideration if gens were already done when the camped survivor got caught. Camping, while somewhat lame for the hooked, should be considered a positive thing overall for the team. Yeah, losing a member sucks, but would you rather snowball into a 4K or see the remaining three destroy the camper with genrushing? Seems pointless adding penalties to something that already has a huge downside.
-
I had been playing yesterday... survivor queues (Rank 6) were a gift compared to normal, getting games within a minute or two of searching. Killer queues (Rank 11) however... complete opposite. Takes 10 minutes to get a lobby at best. Also 3 man lobbies make that worse again.
I’m in the UK, if that information is useful at all. Recently the queues were as bad as each other but now that the event is on Killer queues are far worse.

(The worst kind of person is one who DCs despite the game being nearly over or having just started. This goes for both sides.
For killer thing thing that annoys me the most, on PS4 at least, is that if they DC a certain way, all remaining players in-game don’t get the BP accumulated from the match, making the match a waste of time for everyone.
For survivor, there are several things... DC’ing on first down, DC’ing when being carried to the hook (slugging is lame, still not a reason to DC though) to give last survivor hatch or to simply prevent the killer getting an extra hook, DC’ing to prevent a BBQ stack, the list goes on I’m sure but those are the ones that annoy me the most.)
Edits: ^ Yeah don’t mind this. My brain stopped working for a solid 5 minutes and I’ve just realised that I was ranting about a different post... my bad.
Regarding what they said... just ignore it. You likely played it how you should have done and they’re just annoyed that you beat them. If it gets to you, just set messages to private. There are far fewer people who’ll go out of their way to say “gg” or ask genuine questions on PS4 than there are people who will call you out for some reason or another.
TL;DR - This is normal. Ignore them and block them/private your messages if they harass you.
Note: Sorry for any words don’t make sense, autocorrect is being funky on my phone currently...

I’ve been having somewhat slow times to find games on both sides (Purple Survivor, Green Killer, Play on PS4). Queues take around 5 minutes usually but there’s various factors that make it longer on the survivor side specifically.... which is why I’ve played more killer games over the last few days.

I’m personally indifferent to the changes being made to SWF. Someone was always going to take the fall either way since its very existence is a thing. The way I see it is that they’re making it less luck based for killers which I’m fine with to be honest.
It is a shame though that my friends aren’t really taking it too well since they don’t put nearly as much time into the game as me and never really get a chance to reach green ranks on a regular basis never mind purple or red... that coupled with the fact that they aren’t great players to begin with has been a bit of a turnoff for them from what I can tell. I’m sure if they do leave that I’ll find other people to team with be it here or in game, but it does suck that they are taking it as badly as they are.
Edit: words (gotta love autocorrect...)

You never know. Streaming is better in my opinion due to live interaction with people as you play. Admittedly though one of the hardest things is viewer retention on stream though, especially on DBD. I find trying to get a game takes a solid 5+ minutes as a survivor and without any conversation going on it just feels... awkward. Killer queues generally aren’t too bad, but I don’t play killer as much, only really when I want BP or need to bring my ego down a bit.
