Why is it when you crouch and rescue somebody from the hook they start bolting away instead of crouching knowing that the traps are there?? I swear sometimes I just wanna go to the hatch and wait until they are all dead.Thats the only thing why hags still do well. Give it a few month and survivors might have learned a few things

Actually, she is very mobile with addons, maybe not like billy or nurse, but I think with BBQ, she can be really good
She cant see auras during phase walk, just fyi.
Her 110% movement speed make her power-dependent but her power is very unreliable and has a 20 sec cd. -

They need to put up some juke montage or 5 min loop video instead, that would be more appropiate sadlyThey should just put a cancerous video of ochi, him screaming, using exploits, crying for nerfs for killers etc, would encourage new players, I'm sure.
At least then the new players will know what they buy in. At the moment its like showing a trailer about a movie, but the scenes in the trailer are actually from another movie^^

If I had to list them all in order not including spirit from who I hate to VS to who I love to VS it'd go something like thisNurse, Hag, Trapper, Huntress, Pig, Clown, Doc, Freddy, Billy, Michael, Wraith, LF
Just for reference it's just the abilities that I find annoying to play against, not who I think is the best.
I really hate playing against freddy and doc. My mates always DC and I am left alone, that really sucks
Too bad that devs dont wanna punish DCingDon't play with them if they DC, sounds pretty toxic of an environment to be in :P
I am a solo survivor (most of the time)
Yes, sadly is a pretty toxic environment -
That is intentional design.
You get daily quests for the other side or for other survivors/killers in order to force you out of your comfort zone. If you always play the same and dont wanna know about the other side, thats fine, you can reroll the dailies till you get your beloved claudette daily
Btw, you dont even need to do daily quests AT ALL.
I would even go further and actually force players to play the other side, maybe then they can understand the game a bit better instead of bitching around only

When I play solo I get horrible teammates even though im at rank 1. I think rank 1 is way to easy to get to and should be made harder to keep bad players out. I try to get to rank 1 just to get away from bad survivors. If I cant play solo and enjoy it at rank 1 that just forces me to only play swf and that would make it even harder on the killer. I think they need to make solo more enjoyable for solo people. As you said, its way too easy to rank up (for both sides btw)
Anyone, and I literally mean everyone, can easily reach rank 1 in DBD if he spends enough time trying. In other competitive games even the idea to be grandmaster or whatever it is called would be ridiculous.
But yeah, DBD is weird in a lot of aspects -

- explain what you mean
- devs dont want to rise cap
- for what purpose?
- devotion rewards soon TM
- maybe, but generally I dislike being forced to log in every month to continue a streak
- this would cause a lot of issues within the game, the game is not coded for that
- you already have a item bar where you can see the item charges
- new cosmetics are coming
- seems like a good idea to slow down the game, but what happens with the old toolboxes (the item ones)

I was watching the Q&A and their ideas for Saboteur, made me think of something to make it maybe useful. Was hoping to post this here, and hear what the community thinks. Make it so that Saboteur has charges, something like 0/1/2 or however many would be good, and that is how many hooks you can break and those ones will stay broken. Hangman's Trick counters this however, in which case they come back after the normal time. These charges are also not usable on Trapper traps, as tacking away a killer's whole power is not a good idea. With this idea, Saboteur will still be pretty much the same as before, just with this change. (And probably the efficiency removed as they discussed in the Q&A.) It'll give something more for survivors to do that isn't pointless, and if you are smart with which ones you take down, you might get some good plays. It could be a problem with multiple survivors taking down hooks, but that's why I put the numbers so low. But yeah, if anyone has any other ideas, let me know, I'd like to hear what others think.Since the killer cant see survivor perks, he cant counter saboteur this way. It is a horrible idea to let survivors remove 8 hooks from the game and I am sure that you agree with me if you think twice about your suggestion.

He is already weak, pls dont bully him

How many survivors does it take to change a lightbulb? None, because they want the light nerfed instead of learning how to change it.Just came from the balance feedback forums. Unfortunately cries for nerfs are still ongoing. Very frustrated.
Not bad, not bad at all

This exploit is called SWF (survive with friends) and it breaks multiple aspects of the game.
Part of it is matchmaking, but the most outstanding issues occur due to voice communication within the SWFThe only thing a killer can do about that is lobby dodging.
If survivors join very shortly afetr each other or even at the same time, then it is most likely a SWF. The "leave lobby" button exists for a reason, dont be afraid to use it until devs address the SWF issues

how about SC, it has 99,999999% usageAlso the devs dislike games below 5 mins I believe, hopefully they will fix gentime soon and then we can get rid of ruin

What is the purpose of a "contender rank" if it would be overwritten by your actual rank.

Nurse is the only killer that can reach that 2k average in a competitive environment, all other killers are underpowered when using this definition

As every other multiplayer game, DBD community has its big amount of toxic players that use offensive language at the end of every match, and sometimes also before the match starts.
My question is: Will you consider to put an option to mute the chat in game? So that the player that doesn't want to chat at all, it's not gonna be forced to read offensive or toxic words in the game, because it actually makes the game not fun to play anymore.
Thank you.Make sure to remove the toxic survivor ASAP from the game, usually they dont want to wait the entire game to insult you and you can "enjoy" chatting with the other ones.
Ofc you can just insta close the chat and forget about the game

Piping is too easy (for both sides) and since you dont derank that hard anymore every season...... well

I'd like them to do away with hitting survivors with the dream beam and just have it that if they are in his terror radius for x time they are put to sleep. Gives people a chance to run when they hear his lullaby and aren't boldly doing gens in the face of a killer. The closer you are to the killer, the faster the transition, pretty much like madness.
But the ideas they mentioned during Q&A sounded interesting too.But sadly they havent even started with it yet, only gather ideas etc, the rework wont happen in 2018 I fear

How about this for a vigil effect - exhaustion recovers normally while running. Vigil has no effect during a chase or for 3 seconds after escaping a chase (to prevent it working during a chase when LOS is "broken" frequently by the strange chase mechanics").This would make it really strong and worth a perk slot without undoing the point of the exhaustion nerf.
As a killer I would be totally fine with that

Ruin isn't needed. You'll realise this when you see just how often it gets cleansed very early into the game, rendering it useless. It's only really good against newer/bad players that aren't good at hitting Great Skill Checks and aren't aware where Totems can spawn.I've never understood all the posts i've seen throughout my time playing DbD with people saying X Perk is mandatory.
Yesterday I thought, Its fine, im just green rank atm I can do well without ruin too.
5 minutes later the game is over, welpRuin, even if it gets cleansed really will always cause survivors to run around searching for it, making it easier for you to catch them off guard.

-
Will never happen before we get dedicated server which will never happen

-
Well we need a new killer that can take freddys spot after he received his rework
-
You can still hide.
I see survivors all the time immediately hammering down shift after their spawn and then blame RNG afterwards if I spot them accross the map
-
Devs said they dont want to do that
-
No
-
Im fine with the sound.
But hex totems aura need to be blue, you can hardly see them.
Give the "fake totems" of the new perk another color so that they can be distinguished -
In the world of optimal loopers its considered optimal play if another survivor continues looping (hes full life)
Yeah I know it sucks if you prefer the stealthy gameplay and usually I show my appreciation by unhooking that special survivor in front of the killer
-
@BogdanNEK said:
I'll start. Some "rules" that I follow. With rank 10-20 that I can hook 2 times each very fast I'll let them escape. My sacrifice is the only category that is not maxed, but almost to the top so I can confirm a 28k+ very easy. I know when the game is won and making some extra BP is not a bad idea. Most of us want high BP games. For good players is ok to don't tunnel/focus one player. 2 hooks each if possible. Mind games represent a good weapon against skilled players too.
As killer I have no rules, usually I slugg the DS or let him bleed out, but you can hardly call that a rule.
No DS as survivor -
@KiraElijah said:
Perks:Pitch a tent: if you stay near a hooked survivor for 30/25/20 Seconds they enter phase 2.
Screw off: if you are near a hook and a survivor comes near your prey, give them a 45/30/15 Second bleed out timer.
Hex: Campfire: if you are within 8/16/24 meters of a hooked survivor, recovery speed is increased by 25/50/75%and missed attacks recover 15/30/45% faster
Ability: You can throw survivors unhooking down instead of grabbing them
I actually like those ideas.
Does "the camper" run at 115% movement speed? Then Id prefer him over the spirit and im honest

@Someone said:Depends what you mean by fun in this game. Because it won't be the same for everyone.
For me it's fun when I play against good killers, when I mostly have to rely on mind games and when I feel pressure.
For someone else it's fun if they can mess with killer or/and survivors.
And some people find it fun only if they're winning.
If you don't enjoy playing against a good killers then you can just stay in lower ranks.Besides buffs and nerfs won't help that much. You can have insta hachets with all the best perks and lose or you can play as Freddy without perks and add-ons and get 4k. It all depends mostly on how well you know game mechanics and characters abilities not on buffs, nerfs, perks or add-ons. Generally speaking it depends on your intelligence.
I enjoy playing against good killers myself. My point is that, for some reason, devs are passing by the Nurse, who is definitely way above any other killer in the game. Of course, she does take more skill to play her good. But tell me that, do you think there is a difference between a good nurse or a good billy/huntress? Are these match ups equally same for survivors? I do not think so. Nurse, by her core design, is omitting the whole game (pallets, windows, distance gain).
By the way, @CallMeRusty420, "gitting gud" against a good nurse is not an option.
It is, in the official tournaments nurse was the only killer that managed a 2 kill average.
The devs consider a 2 kill average balanced and thus the nurse is the only balanced killers in a competitive setting -
He is in a way better state now, but still not viable against competent survivors.
He is better than spirit though if you ask me -
Survivors dont lose their stuff when the killer DCs, once the killer DCs its considered an escape and for some reason survivors keep their stuff if tehy escape
Actually its the other way around, if the survivors DC, then the killer loses all his stuff
But yeah punish DCs please, I just had 3 survivors DCing in my last game as slugg huntress
-

Me too, I want to main her as well. I think people are complaining because she is like The Nurse, hard to master/play but when you get the hang of it she can be deadly.People complain because she is not viable at high rank.

Nurse is the only killer that can reach a 2 kill average under competitive circumstances.
The devs consider a 2 kill average balanced -

At Which rang do you play ?? Or which game are you playing ? Because in my world (= not pro player with around 120h playing) All killers kill at least 2 survivors more than 50% of the time. And the whole team is saved in only 1 over 15 games.
And when we play versus the "Big 3" (Billy Nurse Hag) it's usually team kill.Yeah as I said in a COMPETITIVE environment. Obviously with 120h.....(after 120 hour, my friends and myself included believed that killers are OP too)
Have a look at the official tournament or the depip experiment from marth on twitch, thats what happens when experienced survivors are actually tryharding -

I always post about the hardships color blindness affected killers endure. Given that the ability of the new killer won't let you actually see survivors, instead relying on following tracks or blood,Will you please now consider adding colorblind options to the game? This killer will be unplayable for us otherwise.
I have already tried with predator and bloodhound. No tangible difference for me. And even if it DID make a difference, why should I waste 2 perk slots to overcome a difficulty that 99% of the games out there address correctly?
Previously talking about this topic, the devs said they didn't have the resources to work on it, but the BBQ event showed us that they ACTUALLY can change hook colors, even mid-game switching them, so why don't they add colorblind mode to the whole game? Imagine playing this killer against Iron Will/Calm Spirit, not seeing survivors bc the ability prevents you from doing so, not being able to follow blood trails or scratch marks bc you are color blind and not hearing them bc they equipped those 2 perks. Impossible to play for me.
I am agreeing, but are you trying to make me color blind aswell?
Cant you use proper colors for your letters?^^those colors ARE PROBABLY SO HE CAN SEE THE WORDS IDIOT
Thats why he uses 2 different colors.
Try again troll
