It's a ok killer. A good idea, but some of her perks don't make sense. She need to see scratches, that is part of her power, but why does blood hound and sloppy butcher combo looks like it's not working or even hinders than on other killers? And her speed is so slow that any survivor, injured or not, can evade her without pallets in the chase. They say her speed is 110% but I don't think so. All killer's speed should be 110% but that's not happening. (EN: actually, it's different per killer, with Males 115% and females 110% under different circumstances) All the time, most killers do OK in the smaller map but not in the larger maps this should be fix a.s.a.p. not everyone is having this speed problem but I do and other players do too. When Phase Walk is active I don't see husk like in other videos on Youtube.tl;dr: I can't play and survivors run away from me. Buff her speed asap, because I can't use her well from the start.
solution: git gud
solution: dont buy

I wont need that perk.
I will slugg every single of their flithy asses when the patch hits in the current state, unfortunately I need 4 perks for that build =(
You are so full of hatred mate, relax.
Yes, my hatred lvl depends on the amount of DBD games Ive played.
After facing a 4 man DS I went on full slugg strike for 2 days

Tf? I'm a survivor main who plays both survivor and killer and I agree that killers need major buffs? Why the hell do you think survivors are dumb and entitled I'm certainly not I think. I mean I play at R1 for both. But I got some friends who have great understanding of the game and they're just rank 15. Calm your t!ts.Because the dumb and entitled survivors are the loudest.
I have friends who never really got into the game and never reached single digit ranks too, they still believe that playing killer is a lot easier because they are OP^^ -

So I just got this game about 2 months ago, and for the first month and 3 weeks, I mostly played killer. For the past week, I've been playing survivor (I did start at rank 14 since I'd played a little bit before) and somehow after just a few matches, I am rank 9 and unfortunately climbing...it seems almost impossible to derank unless I afk my character and perform no actions at all. Even during a bad game where I get caught early and camped, at most I temporarily lose 1 pip, but even on most of those I just get 0.I do not feel ready for this rank -- I still don't even know how to get away from the killer. I just run urban evasion and quick and quiet and hope he doesn't see me. If he does, gg -- I run in a straight line, jump in any windows I see, drop any pallets in the way, but otherwise it's usually a quick chase and I rarely get away.
In fact, I would say it's gotten even easier to rank up once I got past 12 or so because at that rank, my fellow survivors actually start doing objectives instead of running around in circles, so even if I stupidly get caught, if they are all winning the game for me and I would be on my last hook, I just crouch around the map and cleanse dull totems or open chests and I still pip...In fact, I've been running plunderer for exactly that purpose.
Not to mention, I feel like the killers have gotten easier...I run into a nurse at rank 15 that controls the entire game, seems to be everywhere at once and gets a 4 kill....then I face a rank 8 nurse and basically just run towards her every time she tries to blink to me and somehow she becomes completely disoriented and loses me.
Has anyone else experienced this bizarre phenomenon as you rank up, and are the devs doing anything to address this?
Yes, playing killer I have to derank all the time if I wanna avoid the unfun ranks,
Sadly piping is so easy for both sides that its a joke. Beginners can reach rank 1 in no time by playing enough. Imagine become grand master in another competitive game in your first month? That would be laughable even to think about.
If you wanna derank, please dont DC at least and find anothe way to do it, e.g. like suiciding on the hook or sth like that.
No, the devs even worsened the ranking situation with a recent patch by basicalyl removing rank 20-15 from the pool and by reducing the amount of ranks you lose after the season.
Matchmaking needs a COMPLETE rework (and a casual queue btw), but I fear its not gonna happen soon.Just a side node. SWF can break the matchmaking so badly that a rank 18 beginner killer can verse three rank 1 survivors teaming up with a single rank 20 survivor (I will never forget that game, thats when I realized that killers are not OP)

Ever think there might be something wrong when a survivor can run a killer around for several gens? That seems like a 1v1 type game and not a 1v4.
That doesnt happen at rank 15 where the devs balance the game

Healing at the hook is a brilliant strategy. Don't knock people for doing this. In almost every case, the killer has started to chase another survivor giving enough time to perform a full heal and get you both on the go again.A survivor that runs away from an unhook is (in my eyes) a bad survivor. Especially when there are 2 people at your hook when you are rescued.
I always love when people heal under the hook and blame me for tunneling afterwards, thats so hilarious

-
If survivors wouldnt hammer down shift when they spawn, it would be a lot harder to detect them.
In my games it happens very rarely taht the killer can see me at the very start of the game, but im more a stealthy guy instead of a "clicking juker"If surivors would need to search for some tools to repair the gens, that would solve the spawning to gen issue too. In my eyes, that would be the best solution to slow down the gens and make the game more intereting on the survivor side.
The devs changes wont do anything about the genrush situation because they only give tools to the "special survivors" to annoy the killer even further.

Sure, survivor controls the position of the skillcheck while the killer can counteract to wiggling, has to hit through bodyblocking survivors, plan his path around pallets and avoid flashlights.Seems like a solid idea.
I like the idea but this is a fair point.
Anyway the devs have confirmed changes are coming to Decisive Strike and they already know what they're gonna do with it. I don't know what the proposed changes are though so if anyone could tell me I would appreciate it!
The plan is that the survivor can stun the killer just like it is now for a certain amount of time. The difference is that the survivor isnt dropped anymore and that other survivors have to assist with flashlights/palllets to free the grabed survivor. DS is supposed to be triggered manually, guess like deadhard with a button instead of a skillcheck (that wasnt really precise when they explained it though)

looking for wraith builds for the upcoming update, any ideas?@Master I summon thee
Not sure why you summon me, im not a wraith man

Of course you wanna use ruin and BBQ, no need to question that

Im not a fan of TOTH and whispers as suggested above, they are situational and SWF can completely deny TOTH for example.Bamboozle is always a great idea if you dont know what to take else.
On M1 killers liek wraith I can always recommend brutal strength. With the addition of the new hex perk, you might wanna try that together with ruin, but we will see how that perk turns out.
I havent experimented with the addons yet, but I dont think windstorm is a good idea anymore. You wanna choose your addons such that you do well during chases or for jump scares, that ultra rare addon that removes your bell sound is really interesting too.
The addon that lets you see gen progress while cloaked could also be very decent (if devs manage to actually make the progress visual)
-
Try hitting them slowly. With some experience, you will find the sweet spot

I am an avid DBD player and absolutely love the game. But it is very annoying when i get downed and have a very slim chance of escaping because there are too many damn hooks around the map.The offerings are random so it could only erase a hook thats nearby another 40 hooks.
Not everyone has saboteur and can communicate within game to get rid of hooks.
The damn wiggle time is too hard, we already have Iron Grasp to make it impossible, it doesn't have to be nearly impossible without it.
Wiggle is there to make it impossible that the killer can always carry you to the basement.
It is not meant to be an escape tool and actually the bodyblocking thing gives you a guaranteed escape (devs realized that too late sadly)Iron grasp is there to make it impossible for you to escape at all. I'm not saying completely nerf it but at least despawn maybe 1 or 2 less hooks? They always spawn way too close and we might as well let killers automatically have iron grasp
And still, it happened to me several times on certain maps that you are UNABLE to reach a hook, even without any bodyblocks. If anything, then the number of hooks needs to be increased

Thats a feature for quite some time now. It can be used to insta grab survivors too.

Now I know freddy needs much better stuff than fixing his hook animation but it's been bothering me idk why but it has. The survivor is just floating in the air and then they suddenly teleport onto the hook while they're not even in freddys arms. This shouldn't be fixed immediately since theres much bigger things to worry about (like buffing freddy) but it would be nice since right now it looks kinda weirdAll small killers have really weird hook animations.

But yeah punish DCs please, I just had 3 survivors DCing in my last game as slugg huntress
Weird because the killer DC Last Night and I lost all my stuff
You will alwasy lose the offering but you keep your items.
If they dissapear from your l,oadout, then they have been teleported to your inventory, that is a thing for ages now and the devs never bothered fixing it. But since you dont actually lose stuff, who cares, there are gamebreaking bugs too -
The only balanced killer under competitive circumstances is nurse because she is the only one that can reach the 2 kill average the devs aim for.
Under normal DBD conditions I consider billy the most balanced, nurse is a bit OP against solo survivors if you ask me

Things you can do to avoid getting camped:- don't start directly with the repair of the gen. Wait 30 seconds before even touching it.
- don't run everywhere. The killer can see scratch marks when you run.
- if the killer camps you, move a lot on the hook to signalize others that he's camping.
- if the killer camps, just do gens.
- equip Borrowed Time to unhook camped survivors
Hope this helps
I'm not a new player. I been playing for a while I just don't think killers should be allowed to do that. It really sucks the fun out the game. There's a lot of people I met that think the same way. I feel happy to die when the killer is hunting while u have your friend on the hook it makes it exciting.
So instead of using already mentioned counter tactics, you prefer to complain?
Fine, go ahead and cry me a river then -

Imagine a perk when every time you hook someone all gens that aren't being actively fixed start regressing, and all gens being fixed lose 6/8/10 percent of possible progress. My intent with the perk is to encourage killers to chase and hook as much as possible and dissuade camping. Additionally, there is counter play, you just have to stop fixing every time you see the killer pick someone up, so the gen will only regress, and you can start fixing again.
But, there is also synergy with knock out, so survivors can't see when you pick people up, so that specific mind game is more in the killers favor.
What do yall think?
To be honest, how is taht suppost to work?
Thats a perk that can COMPLETELY be nullified by survivors as you explained. Regression is really weak as the devs explained last Q&A and is not viable if thats the only effect. No killer would use such a perk.Knock out is a useles perk too. I tried in the last days to get a slugging build together and SWF makes that perk useless too.

Survivors will actually be scared of NOED and have to cleanse totems instead of just rushing genssurvivors ARE scared of noed we rush the gens because finding totems is boring and tedious and whether its with or without noed someone will most likely go down by the end anyways so there is no point, the longer we take finding totems the less likely its for us to escape since bbq is a chaining hook bs perk and you cant really hide
Survivors are not scared of NOED.
I cant remember the last game where survivors cleansed all dull totems before completing the gens. IF they actually were scared, they would do that.BBQ only works if the kilelr hooks someone and there are so many ways to prevent that. And even then, there are multiple counters to BBQ, do I need to explain?

Okay so what are you least favorite perks go against as a survivor or killer? My least favorite perk to go against as a survivor is definitely Franklin’s Demise. No other killer perk really annoys me as much as Franklin’s. If you wind up being the obsession the new perk Rancor could also be annoying to go against if you get caught in the end
My least favorite perk to go against as a killer is probably Adrenaline. I mean Decisive Strike is annoying to go against but having hit a survivor then having them blast off with Adrenaline and then having them break line of sight can be crushing.
DS
Anyone using it in my lobby can prepare to be used as mop to clean the floor.
I dont have killer perks I really hate, I dislike playing against NOED though. Staying stealthy the whole game and then dieing because of one hit feels really bad
I don’t dislike Decisive since it is a one and done perk and if you run Enduring it isn’t as bad as people claim it is. I do however dislike the trolls who run DS and click their flashlights at you and teabag. It doesn’t personally affect me because it is online multiplayer but it can get annoying really quickly especially if you have a 4 man DS SWF team. It’s not the perk normally but usually it is the way people play that I dislike
A few hours ago I actually had a 4 man DS SWF (never happens eh).
Still managed to 4k them though because they were boosted AF and belived they are gods. But even if I 4ked, the game was really frustrating and I stopped playing after that. The two games before were both spoiled by DCs, guess enough DBD for one day

Survivors will actually be scared of NOED and have to cleanse totems instead of just rushing gens -
I have no idea how the devs even come up with the idea to change the slugging cap from 85 to 95.
That literally means that it is 3 times, yes THREE TIMES, easier to pick up a survivor.Thats literally insane, how about tripling gentime? That would be a joke too.
Seriously I am starting to lose hope. The whole issue is gentime and it wont help to add alternative (not forced) secondary objectives. They already tried that with the hex totems and survivors always prefer it to rush through the gens and complain about NOED instead of cleansing the totems. The survivors need to be forced to do other objectives, otherwise it wont help. And taking hooks away from a killer will make him lose momentum and even worsen the genrush situation.
The endgame mechanic is still better than the stupid standoff /hostage situation we have now.
BUT as usual, its a mechanic designed for low/medium ranks. Competent survivors will easily loop you for a minute and then escape, but I wont care, anythign is better than the current situation
Sure, skillchecks might be hard for beginners, but why not simply make them harder the higher you rank up (add different features like counterclockwise, other great spots etc when you reach a certain rank).
Then introduce a small multiplier for your BP which will increase the higher you get, such that you actually reward ranking up and we have an actual competitive game where players want to rank up.
