Please consider :)

Tip, Swap out Franklyns for Deer Stalker.
Nice fun build to run and mini game inside the game ^_^
However, doesn't work at high ranks.....

I just recently updated my Nun idea, whose power would be using Mirrors to see areas of the map that they are not close to.
Here is the thread: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/8246/the-conjuring-the-nun-dlc-idea-images#latest
and the rundown:
"She would curse the mirror by either raising her hand to make the sign of the cross and maybe chant some words. She would be able to curse 6 mirrors at a single time (+1 or +2 with addons). She would also carry a rosary and either a book (not bible, but a dark arts book) or a mystic ball.
After cursing a mirror, she would be able to hold up the book and flick through the pages which would show her the view of the mirror on the page. (or mystic ball, not sure which would be better).
So basically, she would be able to see a survivor walking by or doing a generator in the view of the mirror she has cursed. Yes, this would be like having CCTV cameras on a killer."
-
Not sure if this will bump my post but I edited the perks and text into the first post. Please look!

The Nun updated ability after some thought.
Her power would have full length mirrors placed around the map. On the front of every locker door and on some walls and around generators.
She would curse the mirror by either raising her hand to make the sign of the cross and maybe chant some words.
Yes, this would be like having CCTV cameras on a killer.
She would get a notification so that she would have to check the book/ball. and then choose to teleport to that mirror and come through it. Her image would be shown on the mirror that she is coming through and it would take roughly 1.5 seconds to come through.
Add ons would
-Allow The Nun's image to appear at random on any mirror that is in the match.
-Shorten the time to come through the mirror.
-Spawn more mirrors in the map.
-Spawn mirrors closer to generators.- Allow the ability to curse +1 mirrors.
- Allow the ability to curse +2 mirrors.
- Decrease the time to curse a mirror.
- Hide the appearing image from survivors.
- Increase the time before the killers heartbeat appears after coming through a mirror.
- Mirrors closest to survivor spawns are cursed at the start of the match.
- Mirror curses are activated when a survivor stays in its view for 10 seconds.
What do you think of the ability?
-
Healing at the hook is a brilliant strategy. Don't knock people for doing this. In almost every case, the killer has started to chase another survivor giving enough time to perform a full heal and get you both on the go again.
A survivor that runs away from an unhook is (in my eyes) a bad survivor. Especially when there are 2 people at your hook when you are rescued.
-
I guess we where all wrong...
Instead we got a chopped up spirit with a booty.
-
Healing: I think that the debuff change should only apply to healing yourself. This would encourage people to seek out a team mate to be healed at the faster speed. I am aware that this is already in the game, but making all healing take longer is a bit over the top.
Hook respawn time should be increased further. Make it so that they can't grow back for atleast 5minutes.
OR, as discussed in the Q&A, make it so that base sabotage and toolbox take a shorter time to complete. That way, hooks can be removed whilst a killer is picking up and taking to a hook. (Make sabo great again). I like your idea of instant sabotage addon, make it work the way brand new part works (or used to work).
This would also make Hangmans Trick more usable.I'd also like to see a feature where if a survivor has already been placed on a certain hook, they can't be placed on the same hook again. This would reduce farming.
I also put forward an idea/change for the perk Boil Over (I posted it up in Not_Queen's discord).
"Boil Over change:
Level 1: The entity blocks the use of the nearest hook.
Level 2: The entity blocks the use of the nearest 2 hooks.
Level 3: The entity blocks the use of the nearest 3 hooks.
This also works on basement hooks ^ but as we know, there are 4 in the basement"."it would make more sense than just obscuring the view of the hook aura from the killer. in many occasions the survivor goes down in range of a hook. the killer would have probably seen this hook while chasing and knows it is there. and, he can scout the area before picking up the survivor with boil over. Kates perk currently doesn't really do anything worth while in my opinion.".
Slugging. Your point regarding slugging and gens take long time is in no way related. I think you are just trying to make a reasoning behind this change but that certainly isnt it.
I can see what you mean about the sabotage reference, in the case of slugging, then yes sabotage buff does promote slugging. But in fairness, neither is fun for any player. We sabotage = Killer unhappy., We dont sabotage = Killer hooks and ends our game.Slugging, yes, is a viable strategy in some cases. However, if you played the previous versions of DBD you would have seen how much gameplay it actually did produce in a positive way. Having an extra 10% fill on your meter isn't really that great. Yes it helps survivors pick up a friend quicker, but in all senses of the game, it doesn't really effect anything. Also, it is not just a 1 tap deal, it still takes 3 seconds or so. Rather than the 5 seconds it previously took. It's not really a big deal. (this is including the self heal changes!).
The change that they made regarding end game sounded to me, too much like how Deathgarden is. When the objective is done, the exits open and the Hunter can see the aura of the runners. We don't need a feature like this.
HOWEVER, also discussed in the stream was a timer that would count down when the exits are open so that the survivor would have to leave the match. This, i can see as a good idea. A kind of 'Time till Daylight'. Which would work well with the games name. I've always had this idea that the whole game should be timed and if things are not done within the time (until sun-up) the game would end.
Whether it would end in survivor favour, or killer favour is another story. Anyway. A Death timer could be a good addition. But randomly revealing the survivor location is a bit dumb.
And, Still. I say NO to the closing the hatch mechanic. That is incredibly dumb. What I would like to suggest again is a second hatch which; if used, the survivor would only get half or less than half the points that using the gate would. The killer would only be able to 'camp' 1 of the hatches.
Your blood warden change sounds good, but im not sure that would be needed in my opinion. Maybe different perks to do a similar thing, but I quite like how Bloodwarden is right now.
Skillchecks, I made a killer idea suggestion a while ago 'The Mimic', one of her perks was called 'Mirrored Edge' which was to reverse skillchecks so they are counter clockwise. This was discussed on the stream. I still like this idea. Here is my DLC killer idea which said perk on (its in an image so click the link)
Other than that, leave skillchecks as they are, OR revamp the whole skillcheck look and feel and change it completely. Neither hard or easy!.
Good thread by the way, rated up!

It would be cool, but it just doesn't fit in the game, at least not for me.Have you seen the latest trailer for the new killer? Japanese style... Samurai would fit it quite well hmm.
There is a Samurai, doesn't mean the killer will be a samurai
by the sounds in the trailer, looks like the supposed Samurai killed someone, a girl which I believe is who the killer is.
For multiple reasons I believe that she is the killer. I just believe that the Mask and the whole scene is a distraction. I think they want us to think its a Samurai or an Oni.
Even if it does turn out to be the Samurai, I still don't think it belongs in the game, nothing will change that.
Anything can be in the game, the devs have already shown this. We have a teleporting killer that draws triangles in the mud. We have a killer that can go through walls, an invisible one. And some with quite natural powers such as laying traps and throwing axes and glass bottles.
As for the video, someone translated the spoken Japanese words and it is a man speaking of his daughter in some way. not sure exactly.
Never said it couldn't be in the game, and I am fully aware that anything can be.
Just don't think it belongs is all, and nothing can change that.

You've just comented on my image I made of a killer 'The Samurai'. Maybe some of these abilities could go in favour of the image I made? hmm.
Love the idea though!
Also, Not sure if you saw my Mimic Dlc, I also had a perk which mirror'ed the skillchecks.
Can be found here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/8247/the-mimic-killer-idea-image#latest -
@swenpai said:
I think he is a bit overpowered, but still, pretty cool. The mimic definitely calls for change in how you play against it.
A stealthy player who just does generators would be a prime target, whilst a person who loops killers around would have to think twice or sometimes even 3 times before trusting another survivor.I agree that The mimic does does a bit too over powered, giving that she would have no heartbeat in survivor form and I haven’t really explained how she can surprise attack. I guess this is unknown at this point. But I would like to mention that this suprise attack would have to have some sort of draw backer Atleast perform time or cooldown. It does need to be scary when it happens though. Keeps survivors on their toes!
-
Unholy Guide: With the trial being so close to it's climax, the Entity grants you a gift. When the hatch opens, reveal all Survivor's auras for 0.5/1/1.5 seconds.
So you just want to reveal the last survivor?, 99% of the time when the hatch opens it is when you kill the second to last survivor and there is just one left. This is just madness and totally un needed. Extremely situational perk also.

I love the idea of extra parts! Having many objectives is one of the things f13 has over dbd! It gives the survivors a choice of how to spend their time. Maybe bhvr could add another way to escape or even just add little secrets in game that you can uncover like character info, cyphers, items, etc.Yess!!! Bring these!

Hmm. I am not sure, Maybe some sort of Sickle. Or a short handled scythe so it can be concealed in the gown/cape.
-
Game should be about having fun and making the game fun for both survivors and the killer.
When I play killer i treat it like a game, have a bit of fun. I mean, it's always nice to catch the looper 8-) , but when you don't it's not the end of the world.
Have fun with the killer, hey, use deerstalker its so much fun to down someone and then chase another. You might even get another hit/survivor found and chase points in the process.
Have fun!
-
Come on @deadbydaylight , have words with the owners of Alice In Wonderland and bring us this Dlc

-
Just thought, a generator part would be required to be picked up by a survivor.
Thus, them having to drop their carried item to collect the generator part.Franklin’s Demise could make this game play very interesting. Obviously franks wouldn’t destroy the Part, the survivor would just drop it.

It sounds cool but it’s too similar to the hag so the power needs to be reworked
Hi, Thank you for this comment. I realise this, however a couple of the killers that are already in the game have similar powers.
HillBilly & Leatherface both have chainsaw attacks.
Trapper & Pig both use traps.
Huntress & Clown both use ranged/throwing attacks.
It would only be fair if The Hag's power had a counterpart also

Hag's traps must be triggered and set by herself.
Nun's traps are placed randomly throughout the map & maybe the possibility to place some herself also.
I was also thinking that if a survivor runs through a puddle their footprints (outlined blue) will appear longer if;
Running through the puddle = Foot prints stay visible for 5metres
Walking through the puddle = Foot prints stay visible for 3metres
Crouching through the puddle = Foot prints stay visible for 1.5metres
I was thinking maybe instead of being able to teleport to her traps or see where survivors are going, her traps could punish victims who run through them maybe taking them down a health state, or if she is nearby or even in the puddle it puts the survivor in the borrowed time state, forcing them to heal!
PS. You can kind of say the hag and nurse share a similar power, transporting through the spirit realm and what not, but I totally get what you’re saying about killers sharing similar abilities.
You are not wrong!. Also thank you for taking your time to comment on my threads ^_^ I really do appreciate it.
-
Can I have more feedback on this killer, power and perks.
Many thanks!
-
You should whip out your phone (giving that you are on PS4) and record your screen. Keep the recording on and check their profile if possible while in game. Send the video to deadbydaylight and they can be banned.
I know it’s not ideal but it’s the only way.
On PC, I suggest you download OBS and record every match you play. After that match, delete the video and set up the recording again.
If something fishy happens in said game, upload it and link profiles of the offender. -
Secondary ability will never be effected by these perks; Noed, MYC.
It has already been confirmed by the Devs. -
Not really. All characters are basically the same. Just their skins are different.
I am a fair killer and chase everyone equally when I can. I avoid tunnelling. But on the rare occasion one survivor thinks they are excellent at the game and attempts to run me around, I will give chase
, normally ending in my favour but sometimes in the favour of them.If I had to choose one I dislike the most, I’d have to agree with you, Quentin must die >=)!

It is nice to see some great ideas in the forums.
I’d love an Egyptian style Dlc especially a map. I had an idea of ‘The Minotaur’ which I posted a few days ago. His map would be also in a Egyptian/sandy Maze sort of style, so these would go well together in that sense
.I actually like the idea of The Pharaoh however not sure about the way his ability would work. So he looks at you (similar to Myers) and curses you. You are slowed down, then he can hit you as a normal killer would.?. Not too sure about this.
I’ve also just had a suggestion for you to change the name of the dlc to ‘Sands of Time’, or even play on words and change the spelling to ‘thyme’ and maybe link the power to the herb ‘thyme’.
Definition: a low-growing aromatic plant of the mint family. The small leaves are used as a culinary herb and the plant yields a medicinal oil.
I like the trapping chest perk, that would be so evil, but so satisfying as a killer.
I don’t like the killer hex appearing at the end of the match. Which perk would get priority if you used that and noed at the same time?. (Thyme lol).Master scavenger sounds good, I like that one.

Woah woah. I for one LOVE using Insidious to wait by a generator or even by corners to make at least ONE survivor mess their trousers!
But perhaps you’re right, in the quick confusion of things, even communicative survivors may “doubt” or wonder, “wait, just who are you...?”
I’m already imagining a scene in my head...Insidious can be used in a few different ways, a lot of people just use it to camp a hooked survivor from a few feet away or just behind a wall when they have hooked someone. An experienced player will use insidious within a chase to make the survivor think that they have left them alone. I would not recommend you just stay in 1 place the whole match and wait for someone to walk by you. Once they know you are using insidious they will be wary of your existence and keep an eye out for you. Especially if you’ve hooked someone.

People of the forums, stop complaining about pallets.
Pallets are not a problem anymore, if you are experiencing issues regarding loops and pallet stuns then YOU are not doing all you can to prevent this.Pallets where changed many patches ago and have been significantly reduced throughout all maps. (They used to be at every single corner, so consider yourself lucky!).
The game is procedurally generated and so are pallet locations, some maps will have more pallets in 1 area some will have next to none. You win some, you lose some. Some matches will be easier to kill all 4 within minutes, some may take 24minutes.
Try equipping Brutal Strength, Fire Up or Enduring. These are excellent perks to combat pallets if they are a problem for you. You don’t have to ‘just play nurse’ to sort your issue.
Instead of complaining about it, do something about it! Equip perks as above.
-
Also to add.
I have not seen this film but from what I gather from the youtube video I got this power idea from, The Nun has something to do with reflections. i.e the puddle idea would be great.
I think if they stuck mirrors around everywhere it would be too obvious that it is The Nun you are facing.

I am a little upset that nobody has commented on The Minotaur DLC

-
The parts would be highlighted in some way. Maybe a low glow. Similar to the Hex totems, placement would be randomised.
Maybe finding 3 of each part would be a little too over the top. What about this suggestion/edit:
Find 3 parts, 3 generators are randomly selected with missing parts. You must locate the parts for the correct generator in order to start a repair on it. This means, atleast 1 part would be required to power 1 generator (making 5 total generators for the exit gates).
Add ons for The Mechanic would include; Having to find 2 parts for the 1 of the 3 generators.
Yes, that would mean there are 3 sets of spark plugs, 3 fuels and 3 alternators per map. -
@TheTimeMachine said:
I really like those perks (especially Mirrored Edge) and the pictures you have for them. This idea would really excel for immersed players who just want to have a good time.
But the only problem with a Killer-turned-survivor is SWF groups and those on teamspeak. Maybe we should have a Killer that can shapeshift into objects like cabinets or rocks? That way even hardcore players may miss a simple object that they’ve seen millions of times. Like Chameleon in Dark SoulsThe problem of turning into a non moving object is that it is no fun for a killer to just sit there for minutes upon minutes in the hope that a survivor will cross their path for them to then jump out at them and attack.
Having a killer who can change into a survivor seems more legit. Yes, Swf could be an issue, but i am pretty certain even the best communicators would have issues when running into another survivor inwhich they thought was their friend.
Also, the amount of other possible killers that there are to choose from, a normal situation would be that another survivor would come and help you with a generator if they heard it running. The PERFECT opportunity for The Mimic to attack. Nobody would expect a thing.
Solo, Duo players would be effected most. And the scare element is restored

Alright, so I planned on making Perks for these guys and I decided to research them and it ended up being a bizarre experience throughout Wikipedia, in which case I've found out that the specific instance of these characters you're using here are from an obscure PC game about Alice in Wonderland in which case everyone seems real mean? How strange. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the game to accurately give many ideas.Though I can say that the mechanic for the killer does not sound fun, at least to me personally. Rather than having a unique and savage tool to help you maim Survivors in a classic Slasher fashion, instead you have to play a mildy enhanced baseline killer with the Ability to switch between another mildly enhanced baseline killer in a couple seconds; however, I don't believe you have time to switch between them quick enough in during a chase for the difference between the two to be relevant, and if you could it would be overpowered. So unfortunately I don't have too many solutions to the problems at hand, because I kind of suck at constructive criticism but also because I know nothing about the source material game other than you can throw jacks at people as demonstrated in the boss fight video I watched.
Alice in wonderland is a movie(film) the game is just a spin off.
Well, actually Alice in Wonderland was a book, turned movie, turned many other things. All I'm saying is that this specific iteration of cruel Tweedle Twins is from an obscure game.
Thats true.

There's already counters to being carried to a hook, and you should honestly be mindful of where you're going down. I hate people that run a killer for miles, only to end up in the basement because that's where they decided to go down.Flashlight saves, sabotage, body blocking, and the rare pallet stun are all counters. A lot of carries for the distance will result in 80% struggle, so only a single body blocked hit is needed to free someone.
Eninya knows!
-
Added this part to the above:
The Larger One: Slower in Speed, Longer Lunge, Ability to carry the survivors.
The Smaller One: Faster Speed, Smaller Lunge, Harder to see. Attacks made by the smaller one would only injure the survivor and would never down them completely. Instead, each successful hit by the smaller guy would reduce survivor speed. This way, when they change to the Larger guy, he can catch up to survivors suffering from speed debuff.
