Lmao imagine Batman as a survivor though.

His hook screams... they would be GOLD.

  • Looking forward to some guitar riffs with Legion.

  • Wrong Joker, Joker from Persona 5 as a new Survivor please. I would suggest a killer but I'm not a huge fan of dropping spoilers.

  • It should just be base, really.

  • We already have Decisive Strike, and that's the biggest prank perk to the killer.

Hops off shoulder IT'S JUST A PRANK BRO!

  • I don't feel like the Deep Wounds status effect is enough of a trade off for Survivors getting off of your shoulder more often. That doesn't seem to make sense; wouldn't you rather just hook them to get closer to winning, rather than let them get off so you have to spend longer getting them back on your shoulder so you can hook them again? This is definitely a pre-green rank mindset. Letting someone get off of your shoulder intentionally is quite possibly one of the worst things you could do.

Every second of a match is invaluable for later rank killer games and wasting it by being stunned and having to refind the person who got off seems silly. I think the Wiggle buff shouldn't be part of it, it makes the perk not very useful.

I’m not sure if you mean crutch or clutch, but I thought of it so that survivors don’t just go down in the beginning of the game. I mean obviously there are still ways to counter it, personally I don’t see it as a “crutch” perk

    Nope, definitely a crutch perk.

In the later ranks you spend most of your time trying to get ONE survivor since they're more experienced with looping and by the time you get them 1-3 gens have typically already been done, more depending on the map and pallet spawns. Increasing a Survivor's amount of hits by 5 is quite possibly the worst idea I've ever heard of. It would additionally make the perk mandatory if you wish to be performing as well as your teammates since it's so good.

If it has a sound cue like the fireworks it could work. We need to determine what "slightly invisible" exactly means tho. Yet, lore wise, I don't know if survivors are allowed to use entity's power, since the bell is the an object crafted from entity herself.

Well it's more of an "itself" but suit yourself...

    @MrrgletheMediocre thanks for the feedback

regarding justice, the hooks break the first time you get downed

I get it now! I understand what the perk means. You break a hook to save a Survivor being carried, and if you haven't been downed yet then when you get downed two nearby hooks break.

I think this perk is fine, then. I like it a lot!

    • Paramedic: It's fine. It's fair because it can be countered by keeping eyes on the hooked survivor when you know someone is coming to rescue. It's only good in the scenario where the killer failed to notice you were saving in the first place so it's good.
    • Blood Hero: In a SWF, it'd be easy to tell your teammates when the killer is camping, meaning they now know they're free to open the exit gates with no danger, and now they can go and save the camped Survivor with no repercussions. Combine this with Borrowed Time and a non-death hook is basically useless in the endgame. I don't like it, in conclusion.
    • Justice: I just noticed this, but does this say that the two closest hooks will only break if you haven't been downed before, and then get downed? That's what the wording implies. If so, I don't think Justice has any issues.
    • Breaker: I was initially under the impression that this was overpowered, until I remembered that in most chases the Survivor will already have used their Sprint Burst/Lithe/Balanced Landing so they'll already have Exhaustion. It's balanced in the same way that Lithe and Balanced Landing are as in they're not considered overpowered since they're not as bad as Sprint Burst, but are still really good perks.
    • Timed Wealth: Insta-Heal Medkits, Maxed out Tool Boxes, and Flashlights with add-ons are the only really good items in the game. Unless you're running Ace in the Whole, you won't get any of these in chests because they won't spawn with Add-ons. Timed Wealth is therefore perfectly balanced, as all perks should be.
  • Justice and Breaker are really insane, and Blood Hero is really frickin' good too. I'm still not really sure on whether or not I would consider Paramedic OP, but I guess it's fine. Timed Wealth is good though, the only issue with is really is that the picture is just Plunderer's Instinct.

  • Ha ha, you fools! You're all inferior to me!

Oh, no. Someone suggested that the game should be more balanced? FREE ESCAPES!! Let's downvote him and complain that our easy kills will actually take skill now.

I would agree with this if it weren't for the fact that it's wrong.

The Wiggle timer's existence is not to get off the killer's shoulder, it's to pressure the killer into not carrying you into the basement across the map in fear of you coming off of their shoulder. If you're hooked before you're not able to wiggle off, the killer deserved to hook you there.

I don't believe I'm going to get away if I'm the last one alive, but if I've earned the opportunity to unhook myself then let me do it. The killer will get some easy points.

Okay but what I'm pretty sure OP means is that even if you didn't fulfill requirements or have already used it, it gains an immediate charge at the end of the game. That's wack.

I really like the idea mate. Want to ask where does the puppeteer turn up after he has lost control of the survivor? If he turns up right next to the survivor then he may need to wait a few seconds to attack the survivor.

He will be weak against swf I think due to the fact people can say he is controlling them, unless they are made to spectate the rest of the team instead.

Absent Actor: Is weak because that survivor will just go around cleansing totems. Which will definitely get all hex totems (Ruin) extremely quick. Have it affect 2 survivors would be better.

Roll Call: Brilliant against urban evasion survivors. I don't think it will be a top tier perk because it would waste to much time trying to find them. Would work well with whispers.

Set The Stage: No, sorry but some maps have max 4 pallets and this would just be way too strong.

Vanishing Trick: I don't think it is that good. If a killer sees a survivor looping nothing they'll know their is a pallet. Also the ground will show that the pallet hasn't been destroyed. Good at low ranks but not at high ranks.

Exposed: Is OP in a swf team. Even a solo survivor can hide from the killer extremely easy with this perk.

Justice: I like the idea of not dying on third hook and that's why the conditions are so extreme. Thing is the conditions are too extreme for me personally.

Overall really like the chapter and you have done really well with it mate. Hope I gave you good enough feedback.

Also @JAWS_BDSM it was my chapter you were getting confused with. I think there are like 3 chapters on here atm with puppet related killers.

I had initially planned on him to return to where he was when he assumed control of the Survivor. I'll stick with that for now.

Just don't bring Hex perks :^) nobutreally similar to how Hex: Haunted Grounds is hindered without other hexes, bringing hexes with Absent Actor would just not be a good strategy. If you need to slow the game down further, just bring Corrupt Intervention instead of Ruin.

I may decrease the time in which they have to be in the terror radius, but I don't want to make it too good. The time could be made less of a hindrance with Distressing, since you don't have to be as close to count the seconds down.

Which maps only have 4 pallets? That seems ridiculously inaccurate. There seems to always be an infinite supply of pallets. However, I can change it to 1/2/3 pallets, with the shack pallet being the 4th instead of the 5th. Doesn't really address your issue but it's better than nothing. I can experiment with the idea of accomplishing other actions during the match to remove pallets across the map, so like, every time you sacrifice a Survivor one or two random pallets break or something, or maybe the first time you sacrifice a Survivor, 3 pallets break. You get the idea.

Vanishing Trick is definitely very situational: Especially considering using it "effectively" would overall lower the time you waste on the killer since you'd have to throw it before a loop, but also not camp it. It's more for a very clutch moment that only comes so often, where you're in lunging distance but also in pallet distance, so the killer would lunge if there's no pallet, but wouldn't if there was one. It could make fake debris on the ground, although that seems hard to calculate how it would work. I'll keep looking in this one.

Since I made the Killer's perks so good, I felt like I would have to even the odds by dropping a really good Survivor perk, just to prevent too much whining. Anyway, using Exposed also makes it harder to build Mettle of Man stacks. Although, it is true that in a 4-man SWF all it takes is one person with the info to make life impossible for the killer. SWF ruins everything in this game :/ I did just realize something though. By complete accident in design, I just realized Role Call acts as a great counter to Exposed as long as the Exposed individual is close. Survivors should also have some sort of symbol by their name so the killer can see if they're running the perk.

Well, that's how the perk is designed. Use your flashlight to cheat the killer out of a kill, and you can also cheat death. Free escapes for everyone! Well, two of you at least. I think it's fine as is, although the criteria is a little easy as long as your team follows the usual rules, so I might actually change it to make it more extreme.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm always looking for ways to improve my writing.

Idk, could be award to be the sole survivor and not be so quick to die, like a final survivor in a horror game. True that there will be too many advantages though... Just no way to insta-heal while being chased.

I feel like if this were to ever go through, it should give you Exhaustion afterwards to prevent any quick Dead Hard/Sprint Burst getaways, especially if the hatch is right there.

  • @Ember_Hunter said:

Still, killer could just be away kicking gens, or you can escape and dead hard to a pallet and attempt to escape... Too many games of mine that I died on first hook after everyone was killed already XD

Yeah, in the circumstance it DOES work, it doesn't seem fair to the killer. With the current state of perks such as Mettle of Man, Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, Decisive Strike, I don't think another second chance perk is required right now. Deliverance already gives you a nice reward for playing carefully. I don't think it should give you a free crutch to stand on at the end.

  • S-Tier: Nurse, Hillbilly, Hag

    A-Tier: Myers, Spirit, Huntress,

    B-Tier: Freddy, Pig, Wraith,

    C-Tier: Leatherface, Trapper, Clown

F-Tier: The new Legion coming out.

EDIT: Still unsure on how I feel about Plague so she's not included.

  • But the killer is going to be next you anyway, this would have no purpose. If they do leave and go get gens or pallets, then yeeting off on them doesn't exactly seem fair, free hatch chance more than what you already have before he catches you seems MEGA WACK

Can I get a HECK YES PLEASE in the chat?

  • The format doesn't really make any sense. I can't tell what's happening. Perhaps put some labels on things such as "Perk 1" and fix some of the punctuation. I feel like that's most likely why no one would've commented up until now.

  • I was lowkey expecting Michael but the mask had a huge smile.

  • Wait, so, she just fell asleep and the Entity took her for no reason?

It really do be like that sometimes.

  • I think the name of The Greater Good and A Life for a Life should be swapped, since in The Greater Good you actually die from it, while with current A Life for a Life there's no guarantee that the killer is even going to hit you.

A mild thing, otherwise I do really like this idea! I like Timid in particular.

  • I like this idea only because I want to hit people with a scale

  • @Killmaster said:

I'd prefer it if it had some killer specific interactions, an example would be sabotaging a trap would stun The Trapper when he attempted to pick it up also when you have a Reverse Beartrap on your head from The Pig you can disable the countdown timer but still need to remove it to escape. Just some small tweaks to make gettting matched up with Trapper or The Pig a fun experience, there are currently so many killers in the game it's time the devs started making game changing effects against certain killers if your lucky enough to have a perk that counters some of their abilities.

Make Trapper's life even worse? Questionable motives.

Making Pig's RBT useless for over half the game? Questionable motives.

I think it would be a good idea to add a perk that makes all the hooks in the area glow and/or extends the sabotage time of hooks. Thoughts?

As for OP, Saboteur already passively extends sabo'd time of hooks. Having all the hooks glow sounds like it would just be a lot of screen pollution. It would be overwhelming, hard to make anything out because there's so many red auras on the screen. Making it within a certain range may work. It just seems unnecessary though, hooks are already pretty easy to find.

Now I can assume by "extend sabo time of hooks," you mean significantly. Like, "a whole minute" significantly. That sounds really obnoxious for killers, though at the same time it encourages use of a scarcely run perk, Hangman's Trick, so there's a benefit. If taken too far though, it might become a requirement in which, not a benefit. Have to be real careful with something as potentially powerful as Sabotaging.

  • It looks really accurate, my only question being... why would you choose to recreate the worst of the three main masks? I can only describe the mask as three metal plates with floss on them.

As for the actual work done, yeah, it looks amazing. Identical to the one in-game, really. If you were going to cosplay as Susie, this would be perfect for it. The plates seem a little uneven in areas, but I'm not a cosplayer or costume creator so I don't know how big of an issue it would be to fix that.

  • I dunno, the oil mechanic seems unnecessary for Leatherface, since he's already struggling.

This has nothing to do with a free escape, it has something to do with balance. But it looks like you don't know what this word means, look it up and educate yourself.

A killer shouldn't be able to carry a survivor across half of the map to the basement. Right now wiggling is completely useless.

You're right, they shouldn't be able to do that.

    And they can't.

The guy survivors are pretty diverse meanwhile the girls are pretty, athletic, slender, and young.

To be 100% fair of course they're athletic, slender, and young they have to run from a killer 24/7 but the grandma idea is pretty nice and im down for another female survivor. Oh and side note HOW IS FENG ATHLETIC SHE JUST SAT AROUND AND PLAYED GAMES?!

She was probably one of those tiddy streamers on Twitch that whenever they won they did some push-ups. You know the kinds I'm talking about.

We'll never get to know because I'm assuming they are two responsible adults who do protected sex.

  • Well, Claudette is a bookworm I thought.

And while I wouldn't call her overweight, I also wouldn't call Kate slender necessarily.

Nea has the face of a swamp monster, and is extremely punk and tomboy. Definitely not pretty.

Otherwise, yeah, I guess your point does stand with the other three. (Although I personally think Meg looks like an escaped test monkey, other people seem to think that she's great for whatever reason.)

It would be very interesting to see an old, nonathletic, fat, ugly faced Survivor of either gender though tbh. Some Survivors incorporate at least one of these, but damn having the OMEGA ugly Survivor would be the best meme character.

I enjoy the idea of this killer, the dynamite sounds great and fun to use, I like the perks and the backstories too! If the killer ever in DBD would throwing the dynamite be similar to how huntress or clown throw their abilities or would it be different?

It would be closest to Clown because of the way the gravity works, all though it would have a much heavier arc so you couldn't throw it as far.

Quick thoughts (from one person who like to make killers to another)...Are injured survivors hit by the blast put into the dying state? What happens if he holds it too long? What's the area of effect of the blast?

    A. No, without the help of the Ultra Rare add-on, injured Survivors hit by the blast are not put into the dying state, they're just stunned and knocked aside.
    B. If he holds on to it too long, he'll automatically throw it.
    C. I don't have an exact measurement of the blast radius, Though I'd like to think if you threw it at a generator in Macmillan Estate it should be able to hit people that are at the nearest pallet.

Freddy is not the worst Killer. He is actually under rated. Change my mind.

All killers use powers to their advantage except Freddy. His power is literally starting chases. Any other killer you just have to walk up to survivors and it starts a chase.

IT SLOWS ACTION SPEED AND FORCES FAILED SKILL CHECKS IN MOST SCENARIOS, SEVERELY SLOWING DOWN THE GAME IF YOU CAN SLEEP MULTIPLE PEOPLE AT ONCE

  • I can't believe there are still people out there that think Freddy is the worst killer in the game, holy #########.
In conversations like this, people always seem to forget one crucial detail.
PEOPLE WHO ARE ASLEEP HAVE REDUCED ACTION SPEED AND UNLESS THERE IS AN ALLY IMMEDIATELY NEARBY THEY NEED TO HARM A GENERATOR OR THEMSELVES TO WAKE UP
You are literally slowing the game down instantly by holding M2 on someone. Better yet, sleep them and DON'T hit them, and then they can't Self Care themselves awake. When you sleep someone, they can't see you for a few seconds. Pretend to leave, and then surprise them. He has mindgames.

He is the only short killer in the game with a reduced terror radius and normal speed, allowing for looping mindgames as well.

The "Worse Wraith" mentality is absolutely ridiculous and you're clearly playing him incorrectly. You don't just sleep and chase. Then, them being asleep has no benefit to you. Mess with them. Sleep them and let them struggle. Only chase when you're absolutely certain that is what benefits you most right now.

I need help with Leatherface. He’s not my main but would like to get better. I find that without the high tier add-ons I just can’t hit survivors with the chainsaw. I can be right on their butt, rev the saw, but the survivor has gained enough distance that the swings never catch up to them.

Not much you can do lad, that's just the lament of Bubba. Your best bet is just to go in 99% M1 and only M2 when they're in the middle of a cornfield or something.

  • There's this feature in the game called windows, and if the Survivors have a semblance of intelligence they'll use them. Then Bubba's Chainsaw is literally worthless, and if you try to get risky for the hit, unlike Hillbilly, Leatherface is almost guaranteed to enter tantrum mode versus Hillbilly's magical through window hits.
