Please Reduce the Percentage of Judith's Tombstone add-on and Moris offerings on the bloodweb .. it's too common and not ultra rare as it says .I'm Running into killers with This myers add on too often around Rank 1-5
I think the odds of it showing on the bloodweb should be tweaked a little bit .
I know Killer mains gonna cry about this . but it's ridiculous the other day I got moried within the first few seconds for 3 consecutive matches .. and it's not like I was even hooked .. just got grabed and murdered that myere add on is too op for it to be too common .
While prestiging myers, I got 1 tombstone per prestige, if I was lucky. How is that common?

Definitely not hard like you say it is. Flashlight saves are so easy to do that killers need to be facing a wall or tree when picking up a survivor to avoid the beam. It’s fine where it is, and you guys just body block hook and sandbag save anyways.
You survivors don't need anymore power, get better.
Are you insane?
A survivor once wants to increase gen time and you block him? Who cares about a slightly longer pickup animation, just slugg them.
80sec to 120 sec would be an insane change for killers
What are you even talking about my guy? I didn’t block anyone, I’m not suggesting change I AM AGAINST IT. My head is hurting.
How can you be against a change that makes repairing gens 50% slower?
Or maybe you are a survivor, nvm^^ -

I also don't understand, why the devs don't rate limit or make it so you can only tap the totem every 3 seconds or so. @Peanits any information on that?
It is indeed VERY annoying, I have to admit, as I use this perk too. And the constant spam really hinders the gameplay as tracking survivors by sounds is not possible with the loud explosions going all over the place.
I also had a couple of matches where they were constantly spamming BOTH totems. Now when you don't lower your sounds significantly, you will definitely get deaf >_<The game benefits from the toxic guys too, its all about $.
For the same reason you can click your flashlight like an idiot.Just DC in such a match, its pointless and they can do that all game
And what if I used ultra rare addons and very rare offerings? They are gone...

Yes, but at this point I dont care honestly.
If you wanna go through such a game just for a few BP, nobody will stop you^^ -

Funny, but this is what I am always blamed for, even though you die in 3 hooks atm

Either you mute your sound which puts you at a real disadvantage or you DC.
Sadly the devs have designed this game without thinking how toxic people can exploit their mechanics.I wouldnt use TOTH anyway because SWF can easily counter it and you have 2 dead perks then

Fear is subjective, tension is not. Since tension can be used to mimic fear my question is, where is the tension? The tension kicks in when you are looping the killer for 3 gens already and start to realize that there arent that many pallets left. Now the question is, how long can you stall him? Is it enough such that DS and adrenaline kick in or will you get camped to death for your looping crime?

Platform specific balancing is something that will never happen, you can be pretty sure about this one.
Btw, I heard that xbox is partnering with razor (?) and you might be able to use a mouse as input soon

I do see this a dual problem because it is frustrating to the killers when they want a kill, but I feel like it shuts the game out if they camp. I have a suggestion that killers get bloodlust when they hook a survivor so they have a benefit for leaving the hook to give survivors a chance to save and if they stay too close to the hook (5/6 seconds in 15>m radius) the entity stuns them once. I also think if survivors stay near the hook too long (3 seconds?) they end up exposed which would stop body blocking at least at the hook location and make sabotage more risky. This would make survivors more passive towards the hooking process since they could be exposed and have a killer with bloodlust coming for them.Bloodlust is lost after a pallet, also it can only be active during chase so that doesnt make sense
Killers wont be punished for staying close to the hook, devs tried that already and survivors always abused such a mechanic

Since the game cant detect how the DC happens, both needs to be punished equally intentional and unintentional DCs.This is the completely wrong way of looking at things. Remember it is a community-wide thing that would be implemented. This means that areas that have really crappy internet service, even though they are in the same region of the world, would be punished if they DC because of their internet. While I think it is not an excuse it happens.
You should not punish all for the problems of a few. I think the system in place is a threshold/ratio of games that they DC from. While it is extremely annoying to have someone DC they are well within their right to do so. If they hit that limit they will be punished. They play 6 games and DC from 4 or so they are still fine.
Now I can recommend they reduce that ratio to 3 games out of the last 10, but not much more than that. The other thing I would try to implement is that the game just does not start if less than 4 survivors are attempting to join.
This is a very similar debate to the balance issue. If you want to balance this game to Rank 1 players, then you need to balance the DC to the rank 1 players. If they disconnect 12 times to depip/hate playing against Killer Name/or because they want to, then everyone should get that same respect.
If you have crappy internet, then dont play a competitive multiplayer game.
Any other competitive multiplayer games punish DCs, no matter what caused them, the same.
So if you DC "only" in 3 games out of 10, then you are ok? In ANY other competitive game, a continous 30% DC rate would lead to severe punishment, most likely perma bann. What does balancing/rank has to do with DCing?
Of course everybody will be punished the same way, no matter what rank they are -
Do you even play clown though?

DCs will never be a priority. Cause it would hit their favored class of players too hard. I mean, you see some streamers who shall remain nameless play for hours, gain rank then the next stream they're right back to rank 13 again picking on intermediates. The sad fact is that survivors hurt other survivors with that, so that isnt really a reason

Its annoying on both sides, there should be a punishment for dcing. We all know the game messes up sometimes & Kicks you out during loading screen so that shouldn't be punished though. Or when my potato internet goes out... Idk lol. This is a big issue though, & It could be fixed with dedicated servers.Since the game cant detect how the DC happens, both needs to be punished equally intentional and unintentional DCs.
The game crashes really rarely, so you should be fine waiting a fwe minutes after such an event if we can get rid of the DCs every 2nd game at least. When your potato internet goes out regularly, you shouldnt be playing a "competitive" multiplayer game anyway

Why do you (devs) dont punish DCing? I know about the automatic system that will trigger when DC rate suceeds an absurdely high rate, but obviously it isnt working properly.
Why is there no queue time punishment after a DC, preferably an increasing punishment. The system detecting DCs is already in place, so it should be easy to implement such a system
I am not Not_Queen, but the answer is extremely easy. This game does not use dedicated servers. You may think what does that have to do with anything? It actually has everything to do with it.
Right now one of the key things the developers have said is that when SWF teams/lobbies are created once they connect to the Killer, who is the host, any disconnection would force the lobby to be rebuilt.
With that said, once a player is connected to the killer's lobby (server) then DbD summons home a few times to provide details. I believe this happens every 5 minutes or so. (I cannot prove this, but it seems logical). It calls once to establish the connection and once to provide a few match updates. Then a final report at the end.
Since connections can be lost a few ways, killer lag switches, poor network connection issues, really high ping time, or even game crashes, a True disconnection is hard for the service to pick up over a connection that is not hosted on their own servers.
They could go back and investigate a users game history to see if they are a chronic disconnector, which is where their Bans come in, but that takes either a logarithm or human to investigate. Then there must be a decision made.
So they err on the side of a connection issue versus purposeful disconnection since it takes a large amount of time and effort for even a partial ban. Not to mention being understaffed/overworked.
So while there maybe a system in place, they are not running the correct services/hardware to provide the solution you are looking for.
Disconnect is disconnect, no matter whether it was a ragequit, high ping or a game crash. It should all be punished, they dont need to distinguish and thus they dont need dedicated servers.
The devs said that there is already an automatic system in place that would become active if a single person DCs too much. How is that any different?
Of course the devs could be lying, who knows

Punishment for survivors: Next 5 rounds will be played against a red bracket nurse.
Punishment for killers: Next 5 rounds, all survivors will be equipped with DS and purple flash lightsJust kidding. I do like the system Blizzard implemented for their game HOTS though. If you disconnect early, you are temporarily placed in a "DCers" bracket. In this bracket, you can only play with other DCers who were also placed in this bracket to get back into the normal ques. What makes this bracket suck is ques take forever to find a game.
This is actually a genius system IMO because it's well balanced. It's harsh enough to deter a huge majority of DCers but mild enough to just be a small inconvenience to people who may have been DC'd due to losing connection or power going out.
Not sure if such a system can work in DBD, but could be a solid idea too.

-
Nerf the only two viable killers and you gonna kill the game.
The devs are aware of that, so that will never happen.I just wish that they could add more killers to that pool because seeing the same 2 killers over and over in a game with 13 killers is kinda pathetic, but I guess the devs are too scared which is quite sad

lagswitch is a forbidden (?) 3rd party action nothing to do with the game.DC is "a possibility to leave a match if you dont have fun in it" - thats what the devs said. Checkt this sentence out: One person dont have fun ( because he saw a doc, or he is a great tbagger and want to troll the killer very hard BUT that killer downs him, so he has no fun (his kind of fun) and DCs.) So all the other 3 survivors are forced to do more, its more difficult so its no more fun, so tehy also should DC. Is that what the devs want?
EVERY ranked competition game punishes DCing. If it would be non ranked, thy can the hell DC as often as they want, but at ranked? The devs should really begin to protect the other ranked players, affected by a DC. A Quitter bonus of 625 BP for every DC is just a little amount of that, what a killer could "earn" on one survivor. what do the other 3 survs get for a DCer in her team? Nothing afaik? Less fun and a reason to also DC. Its just goes downwards.
Of course if someone has no fun, he can get out over being hooked. noone must be forced to spectate the whole round. There is punishment needed. Of course, player fun is good and the devs should protect it, but this DCers ABUSE this possibility the devs give them for dont loose fun. and they also dont think about the other 3 players in the team. thats the greatest weakness in the "saving fun - system" they are talking about.
4 survivors DCing will give 2,5k BP to the killer.
That doesnt even balance out a single common addonWhat we really need is a casual mode and then strict rules in ranked

Seems like you havent experienced the biggest joke about traps yet. In certain situations the surivors are able to run past your trap, but if you take the same pathing, you will get stuck in your own trap due to your bigger hitbox.

Bond is the 1# perk to me.
It feels necessary to use it. Why?1: Better than self-healing, because finding a teammate to heal you is faster.
(Self-healing is better when you're the last surv or against Freddy but in terms of being useful during the whole match, bond 1#)
2 and 3: You don't need to search for the engines. Most of the time survivors are either being chased or fixing engines.
With Bond, you're basically quicker at helping your teammates and going from a gen to another.
4: you're in control. You know most of the time where the killer is(either chasing or searching) so you know where to be and what is the best thing to do, often. What do ya guys think? Do you agree?
Bond is already included in SWF, ofc its not the best perk

Source : https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/16750/changes-to-the-spirit/p1Whether or not it's toned down enough to actually hear anything but WWWHHHHOOOOOOOOSSSSSH... Well, we'll need to wait and see. I track by audio a lot as it is with the killers we have now, so I really hope that will be a possibility with her too.
We will see, but I have my doubts considering how hard it is for the other killers to track by sound and you have to realize that during phase walk you are a lot faster, so your tracking has to be more reliable
With faster killer it's going to be easier in my opinion.
Maybe not for console though
Keep in mind that you can't see the survivors rs
