I think Spirit is due for a Model rework. Her facial textures look outdated and so does her hair. A shame that only Nurse, Trapper, and Doctor are the only killers that got remodeled
-
I swear, ever since bhvr updated Fengs model, I've hated it ever since, old fengs model was so much better, ######### have they done to her face? I only tolerate it when it's not her default hair

Because using a killer where the survivors control your power is boring.
I find that when plagues use thana and other slowdown perks, ppl tend to cleanse more because they don't wanna deal with the penalties.

It's annoying as hell hearing the survivor make a screaming sound only for your puke not to register. It's annoying getting stunned out of your power. It's annoying that whether you get to use your power or not is based entirely on the survivors
Oh yeah that I can understand. It seems like Plague doesn't have proper puke validation and that can be really frustrating and annoying.
-
I'm surprised most ppl consider her boring, I personally find her fun.
-
I wonder if you can bodyblock their tvs from inserting thr tapes. Also imo, a fully condemned survivor should just have built-in rancor. Be both exposed and mori'd. It would not be OP and that would be the survivors fault for not putting their tape away in time, make it more punishing.
-
How bout this, when a survivor breaks the movement Hex totem, it'll increase your movement speed at 5% for 1 min. Make it a Hex totem where cleansing it does something for you for a limited time and Have it synergize with Hexes like Haunted grounds and Retribution.

At least let bloodpact be the only one killed switch since it's kinda useless. You still get more value with object by itself.

Another thing that bothers me too is that all the Legion members are the same height. Susie I feel should be the shortest (but don't let that effect the FOV) Julie being medium height, and Frank and Joey being the tallest ones.

I think if you've been slugged for over a minute, then you'll get the option to bleed out tremendously faster.

No worries!! It takes time and practice. Just have fun with it and look up tutorials! ^^ The art program I'm currently using is MediBang Pro Paint since it's free. It's available on PC and Mobile.
-
Aww thanks everyone! Glad you liked this ^^

I'm not sure if this helps but, it's just something that's gonna take time to get used to overtime and with practice. I personally play all my killers at 80 sens, and the only time I went higher was when I was playing Nurse. If you need to adjust your sens depending on your killer, then that's fine. However do expect frame drops whenever you use your power or anything random occuring in the match. It's unfortunately the norm for us, and it'll probably disorient you for a moment because you might lose where you're going or the survivor for a moment.
Any m1 killer or m1 killer's with zoning power's are a lot easier on controller to play with. I will warn that Nemesis is the killer that will most likely drop high frames, he drops console frames a lot when playing survivor but I don't from playing him himself, but I would assume so.
Do practice with simple m1 killer's like wraith, trapper, or Doctor to get the feeling of things. If you must, use unrelenting to help you recover from missed attacks quicker. It's kinda hard to give out useful tips sorry, since I played on controller for most of my life and it just comes naturally to me. If a survivor does try to spin you though, you would hold the attack button and turn both your joysticks accordingly to hit the survivor. Turn them all the way left or right, it doesn't need to be a clockwise or counter clockwise motion, just simple turning a sharp left or right is good for spinning. I'd recommend using high sens if you wanna be able to spin as fast to hit the spinning survivor, otherwise you'll just have to wait it out.
I have tried Bubba before and trying to curve his chainsaw with controller is pretty hard since you need to be careful not bump into a lot of small things or weird hitboxes. I would probably just look up Bubba tutorials on controller.
Also console dbd in naturally darker by default and there's no option to turn to quality down to low, it's set I believe on high or ultra by default (probably why we have so many fps issues) so if you're playing on your TV just turn your brightness settings up.
So all in all, I'd recommend practicing with basic m1 killer's to get used to the movement and everything, then once you get comfortable, try more challenging killer's like blight or even spirit, hell even Bubba for those chainsaw curves. And do be prepared for the stuttering you'll have in your games.

Wear the new mask and her black leather jacket, the other one, and you'll be the meanest pig alive
-
The Boop the Snoot is my favorite mask for Meg. I wear it more often over her deathgarden mask. I wear it with her crop top red hoodie, and with her black tennis skirt or her new modern tales skirt. Ngl, the mask is what got me into playing meg because before, I never cared about meg and thought she was overrated (says me who played Feng the most). When I do play pig and I do come across a boop meg, I don't really think much of it and would kill her like the rest, but I did let a boop meg go once when she was the final survivor. I let her boop my snoot and I noticed we both had the same SAW spiral keychain, it was great. :)

I do believe that Quentin got his face updated, since the actor of him, posted a tweet where he said that people started telling him that his in game model looks like a goblin and bhvr should do something about it. Which they did, and now he looks way better.
Here is the video comprising: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYVbVjM5lZo
(Can't find his tweet, but it's there somewhere)
I know of quentin's face rework, and it does look a lot better but not accurate to the actor himself
-
To be fair, a lot of licensed models don't look accurate to their original counterparts. Laurie doesn't resemble Jamie Lee Curtis but her comic book counterpart, and Detective Tapp doesn't look exactly like Danny Glover. Same thing with Quentin, and Cheryl doesn't have her silent hill 3 face model.
-
I have a theory as to why they don't buff killer perks a lot. Because of Nurse, the one killer who can take something as mediocre as starstruck and turn it into a deadly threat. Those few nurse gods who are unstoppable can make the best out of any perk because of her ability to ignore everything involving pallets, walls, and windows.

Okay you are completly right about that. First Aid Kits in general have better utility, as in a common kit does all the things a ranger kit does, just less efficently, while a basic map does NOT do what a rainbow map does.

That I will give to you as well, the soudn from the beam is GOD AWFUL. A beam near a totem is just sound hell.
I really don't understand why those types noises are so loud. Billy's chainsaw is too loud, the bloodweb is too loud, the boon effect is too blue which makes the screen hard to focus on.
-
I guess a problem with the glass beads is that it's loud a d super annoying hence why no one uses it. I really wish bhvr would tone down some noises in this game, especially when you purposely don't wiggle and the missed wiggle bar is loud af.

Okay, why am I getting notifications for this post? did I write something in here?

Ace's Ante Up
Okay, but on the flipside, killers have such mind-bogglingly OP perks as Monstrous Shrine and Territorial Imperative! Survivors need their Up the Ante to even stand a chance!
Seriously though, if you're complaining about Up the Ante, you're complaining about survivors having perks, period.
Honestly that is kinda funny. Oh no!! 9% luck in total to kobe, what will I ever do?
-
Doctor was the my first killer because of his built-in ability to track survivors. I still play him now from time to time, but against a god squad, you're gonna get destroyed. But he is kinda oppressive to newer players because of the Madness effect. Either way he's mid-tier at best, and his add-ons are relatively fair and balanced, although those green tape add-ons he has are complete garbage and should be completely reworked. Also I think his brown range add-on should be basekit because his default shock therapy is too small to guarantee anti-loop at strong pallets and windows hence why a lot of Doctor players run range and duration add-ons, but I only think his brown range add-on should just be basekit for him.
Also on a side note, I run Iron Maiden on him so no survivors can hide from me and to counter their locker strat when I use Static Blast. Zanshin Tactics is pretty good on him too, so you see every vault and window and you can pre-shock before a survivor makes it to it. Sure if you have good game sense you'll know where pallets and windows typically spawn, but a lot of loops and pallets are RNG so it's great to have that knowledge ahead of time. I would say Doctor is one of few killers that benefits from this perk.
And one last thing as well is that shock validation can be unfair at times where the survivor was shocked way before they made it to a vault or pallet, and that I think could be a server issue with latency or survivor's ping, I really don't know, but maybe someday Doctor can have a proper shock validation because even with his best purple add-on (I forgot the name, the one with less duration) and his green range add-on, survivors still somehow get the vault and pallet.

COH now heals you passively if you stay in totem radius. Full heal takes 60s and you can do something else during that time. Bonus healing reverted to 100%
New COH still provides fast heals but fixes main problem: infinite healing without teammets. If you really want to heal yourself you have to waste 60s in totem radius which i think is pretty decent delay for the killer.
You can use totems strategically and boon them near the gen you're planning to do to passively heal while repairing. I think that's more fun than just boon in the corner and run there and heal every time you're injured
With this change self healing should be still possible but not viable in most situations. That should solve Huge infinite healing problem which is COH right now
You know this is actually interesting. What if instead of 60 seconds, it's 32, the same as self care? It'll be self-care but for passive healing. But I do think this is interesting since there's not a of healing perks that are passive.
-
Oh I see, meh. I personally like current leader. I guess yeah old repair was there but I don't think it's worth it at the price of everything else being 9%. You might as well run resilience then. But that's just me, 25% for other teammates has came in clutch for me a few times
-
@GeneralV said:
Well...keep in mind the thread asks for our hot takes.
Here it goes:
- Boons should not exist, and if they are to stay in the game then they should be one-time use.
- Self-Care needs a buff. They have to make it reduce the amount of charges required to complete a healing action from 16 to 12, as it used to be.
- Some versions of the older Old DS were not as overpowered by themselves, and most killers could actually deal with them.
- All three of Quentin's perks are underrated and have their uses.
- Leader and Borrowed Time should be reverted.
Wait, what was Old Leader?
-

It feels like some sets only exist because they don't think people would want to buy the entire outfit otherwise.
But by that logic, wouldn't that mean no one buys the whole outfit at all?

Then to the past we go, because anti-loop killers are boring.
Thank you!! Every new killer since Blight has been zone, range, zone, range, altogether, Anti-loop. A breath of Fresh air from those killers!!! But For real, most maps are the problem for why we've had repetitive killers and maybe those should be fixed instead of releasing killers that can counter broken loops as a band-aid fix which in turn, makes 1v1s more oppressive. It's just problems adding onto problems and not solutions.

Do we have to email her or something? Or just @ her in the forums?

Well... you have to heal 1 health state of ANY survivor... so just use COH, medkit or if you want to make your team mad selfcare (i really hate when someone selfcares next to me... or even worse, i will never forget this one clip, where there are 2 survivors self caring next to each other spotted by nurses...)
I also had a daily to heal of survivors 3 times, so that plus the rift makes it 4 times in total I have to heal people.

Flip flop, Tenacity, Boil Over, and Power struggle. I've gotten a lot of value from those perks before and it's so good.

Let's say This is your wriggle progress:

Then the Killer drops from a great height, so 33% of THAT bar would be added onto itself:
|>>>>>>>>> |
(The bold is what you get added from the fall)
The amount you get, of course, changes based on how much you wriggled before the fall.
I see, thank you so much. It makes more sense now. I'm more of a Visual learner myself.

Whatever your wiggle bar is at the time of the drop, you get a third of that added immediately. If you have 20% wiggle when you drop, you get 6.67% extra wiggle progress from Boil Over. If you have 60% wiggle when the drop happens, you get 20% bonus wiggle.
Oh I see. Alright not so bad, doesn't seem Op
