Right, and as I said, the devs have a threshold for how much you need to DC before they will penalize you. They're not coming after you if you DC 10 times but you played 150 matches in the same time period.fluffybunny said:@brokedownpalace said:

No matter what you don't have the right to dc then like when it's Corn or swamp or your totem gets cleansed, you can't chase properly etc.

Yes, you're right @powerbats
It is never ok to DC under any circumstances whatsoever. It's listed as a bannable offense for a reason.
Wrong. It is okay to DC under any circumstances. But if you do it too much, you'll get suspended or banned. It's not about the act of DCing, it's the frequency that is bannable.

Not quite. Under Unsportsmanlike Conduct (Which is a 24h -> 48h -> 1w -> Permanent ban), disconnects are included. -
Too Cheap to Spend $4 After A Year Watch Update

I haven't played in about a week now. Between the ridiculous lobby times, performance issues and glitches... no thanks. I'll be back for the event though.

A "right" to DC? Of course you do. You are not legally bound to commit to playing a game.yeet said:no matter the killer you dont have a right to DC them

I didn't say you said any of those things. But if DS is so common then to say there's no possibility of 4 randoms using DS in the same match is absurd.Unnamed_Freak said:@brokedownpalace said:

Mate, they're clearly a toxic SWF squad, there's no possibility of four randoms using DS in the same match.
And principally all four of them dc at the same time.
And what is your evidence of them being toxic? I didn't question whether they were SWF or not.
I also find it strange that there is "no possibility of four randoms using DS" when plenty of people in this community insist that nearly every survivor carries DS. Both can't be true.
There's no possibility of four randoms using DS at the same match, I never said that survivors don't use DS, I stated that's very unlikely 4 strangers using DS. And also, I never said that all survivors use DS, these words are not mine.
Also, of course they're toxic SWF, they all DC'ed when they heard the nurse's first blink, all of them are using DS and three are using Adrenaline. They probably wanted to bully some killer. But of course, you can't bully a good nurse.
The second part is all speculation. Again, you're basically saying using certain perks is toxic because other than them DCing (which could have been because they hate the map, one friend had to go so the other 3 didn't want to waste time playing a match with 5 gens, etc), the perks used is your only "evidence."
I'm just pointing out that you, and others, are making assumptions based on your preconceived notions, which adds nothing to any discussion except to further division in the community. -
Yeah they usually carry these perks because they are regarded as some of the best perks in the game and thus most commonly used. But simply using these perks does not make one toxic and you can't just assume they were going to be. Maybe it was 4 stoned dudes who were legit scared to face a Nurse? Lol. No need to assume the worst.HavelmomDaS1 said:
It's just my experience. Usually those toxic survivors who try to bully (or are just simply death squads who only want to depip you and to genrush the living ######### out of you) have exactly this loadout, especially if more than 2 survivors run this.brokedownpalace said:

Or are trying to tell me that usually toxic survivors are running spine chill, premonition and dark sense and map items?
Imo it was clear in this case, to much meta perks and everyone DCed.
I play on PS4 where good Nurses are a rarity, for obvious reasons. There's plenty of killer variety. I'm not sure how I would react if I was facing godly Nurses every other match on PC. -

We really don't need more aura perks in this game.

Literally nobody says this in reference to totem spawns. We all know some of them are awful. So I'm not sure who you're mocking here, other than just trolling.Acromio said:hIgH rIsK hIgH rEwArd GiT gUD!1111!!!111!!!! trololololol

Lol people will argue about literally ######### anything. I wish this forum enforced an age requirement. Nobody needs to "slam" their controller down for this to happen. If you put it down on an uneven surface (ie, your lap, leg, bed, couch, etc) it can very easily happen. It would be a simple fix for the devs to switch it to two other buttons.
-
Yes they need to come back ASAP.
-
You can counter it.. with perks, by not breaking the pallet or by making sure no one is around when you break it.

I love when people try to bring logic into this game. In what world would revving a chainsaw propel you forward at a ridiculous speed?Vietfox said: -
If you place it so survivors can get by and you can't walk around that's your own fault. It's really not difficult.

If it always gets cleansed so quickly then why would people continue to use it so often, even at rank 1? The logic makes no sense.
"Ruin gets destroyed within the first two minutes ... but also it's a mandatory perk! I love running 3 perks instead of 4 for 90% of the match." -
It's just a meme that comes from people deeming her unattractive. Anyone who "hates" any particular survivor is delusional.

If survivors aren't doing gens then killers are much more likely to get more hooks. So they were easier matches all around. Probably about 75% of my solo matches ended in all or almost all survivors dead during the event.Tsulan said:
But those vessels were easier for survivors. No need to do gens. Make the offer, collect the nectar with others in seconds and get a ton of points. Even if you don't collect them yourself.Neska said:@fcc2014 said: Event matches are usually much shorter than average matches in my experience playing both sides.
I felt like during the Hallowed Blight, the matches were longer, because most survivors didn't worked on gens but were looking for flowers. Maybe I'm wrong, I didn't played killer that event because of the waiting times, but the matches felt longer and I think I didn't even escaped as much since gens were worked on so late..
But I agree that the killer doesn't have time to destroy vessels, especially if the survivors try to do the gens as fast as possible to escape with a vessel themselfes..
-
No. That would literally punish someone who isn't even using the perk.
-
Sure, it seems like a nerf if you have trouble wrapping your head around the actual changes.
-
Because day never comes.
-
I'm pretty sure that was a bug and it's now fixed. It's supposed to increase FoV, nothing else.
-
I mean I really like the new Leader. 25% is substantial when it comes to healing, exit gates, cleansing, and unhooking. The new Prove Thyself isn't really worth carrying for solo players, but extra BP is definitely nice.
-
Interesting. I mean, it's not really that big of a deal but I'm not sure why they wouldn't mention that.
-
-
I would be very surprised if it didn't come out tmw or Wednesday.
-
Ruin is a trash perk anyway. Stop relying on it. I never use it or NOED and regularly get 3-4 kills. I also get plenty of 0-2 kill rounds but that's the way the game works.
-
Did you know that crows fly away over and over while you work on a gen if it's close enough?Tsulan said:Did you know that CTRL has other uses than teabagging? -
45 seconds for exiting a locker is an insane amount of time for Iron Maiden. The killer could cross the entire map to get to you and still have time to spare, especially if it was Billy or Nurse.

I think Ranger Billy is super cool.
I think the way they're doing it now is good. They have some fun but they don't get over the top like F13 or, god forbid, Fortnite.

I call it one last airplane ride.

Get over it.

Prove Thyself
No Mither
Resilience
Leader
PT, NM, and Resilience for gen rushing.
Leader and Resilience for totem cleansing, unhooking, and exit gate opening, which are just as important if you want as many people to escape as possible.
-
Pallet slamming an invisible Spirit is by far one of my most satisfying moments.
-
I was using No Mither and I successfully evaded a tier 3 Myers for about three minutes. My (random) teammates finished the remaining gens and opened the gate. Then they helped me escape by body blocking because the Myers was dead set on getting me.
Immediately after the match he sent me a PM saying I'm trash and just because I use No Mither that doesn't mean I'm good. 🤷 -
A lot of these are common sense and easy changes to implement that would encourage and reward playstyles that are more fun for everyone in a game. Still want to camp or tunnel? Go ahead, but you'll be missing out on a substantial amount of BP. Still ignoring objectives so you can max out benevolence and make risky unhooks? Sure, but you'll be rewarded far less.
I dig it. -
Do you have a link to where this was said by the devs?AntiJelly said:@Bbbrian2013 said:

The stream schedule resumed last week. Same as it always was, between 13:00 and 15:00 EST.
So we get just streams again now? No more videos mixed in?
It's still the same, just look at the roadmap and imagine that week 1 was last week.

Only a truly biased killer main would write a combined total of about 30 paragraphs across 10 different comments justifying keeping a game breaking bug in the game. (So long as that bug favored the killer)
-
I don't know why so many people are saying this would kill Unbreakable. Well, with Unbreakable you can do it without a medkit or consuming charges. And... Unbreakable could be changed. Perks change literally every month or so.
-
Best - Haddonfield
Worst - The Game -
It would be better if you needed 16 charges BUT, regardless of how many charges were left over after that 16, the medkit was consumed upon use AND you were in the Broken state for 90 seconds or something.
I like where you're going with the idea but it is a bit strong as originally designed given how easy it is to come by a medkit. -
Downing survivors doesn't require skill? Huh? What does that even mean? You cannot hook someone who isn't downed.ChesterTheMolester said:

A much more prevalent issue is survivors losing everything when a killer rage quits. They are actually LOSING what they earned. You're complaining about something you may not have even gotten in the first place.

Survivors DC usually if you downed them. There is nothing more to earn than walking some steps and hitting spacebar to get your stack. And BP doesn't change anything about the match so don't bring up how easy it is after survivors dc.
Also this would go both ways, a survivor who DCs could give WGLF stacks or just simply all if a killer DCs.
Also, survivors don't lose anything if the killer DCs. In fact, they get 5k escaping points
Second, survivors DC all the time, not just when they get downed. So if one survivor dies early, another DCs and then the remaining two say "F this" and then DC, you think you should be handed double bloodpoints just for free? All that does is further reward killers who camp first hook when survivors refuse to play against them.
Also, no, survivors often lose offerings, items, addons and all BP when killers disconnect. Shows how out of touch you are. -
