Not going to bother arguing with someone who cannot accept being wrong about something that is demonstrably false.
Will the patch come on a Tuesday or Thursday? Probably, because that is what the devs seem to stick to now. But content has been released on consoles on both Friday and Monday in the past. -
Huntress came out on a Monday. Other killers came out on a Tuesday. How would either of those be possible for Xbox if what you say is true?
-
Please, everyone, stop spreading the misinformation that content or patches can only be released on specific days for consoles. On PS4 it can be any day. I've had a patch push through on Sunday. There is no set day or time.
-
Lobbies that are stuck at 3 survivors are STILL a thing and it's extremely annoying.
-
Sometimes on ps4 as a survivor it's within seconds. Other times it takes a few minutes. It's very inconsistent. I usually exit and re enter the lobby because idk if it's glitched or what. Sometimes that does the trick.
-
I think they should given survivor and killer tracking add ons to the map and make all keys unlock the hatch, but each with a different amount of time. The keys could also be used on chests to grant you a rare or ultra rare item with add ons, depending on key rarity and add ons. And maybe one of them could be used on the exit gate to open it a bit faster.Nickenzie said:
The key already does that with a add-on lol.Cetren said:Make it so the map reveals the auras to all survivors by default.
Boom, useful item. -
I love your ideas. I love the concept of the map but in its current state it's only good for hatch hunting and racking up BP, and those require add ons. It's a real shame the devs haven't touched the maps or broken key because if they were decent items then the medkit and toolbox use would drop, thus slowing down games.

Distortion benefits:Vietfox said:I dont like distortion, you got lockers or you can simply fake the direction you are heading to for 4 seconds.
If i had to use a stealh build i guess i would run: spine chill, iron will and lightweight. Not sure about the 4th one, but wouldn't be urban evasion.
- Know immediately and with certainty whether a killer is running BBQ, Bitter Mumur or Nurse's (Bitter Murmur in particular is less obvious without it because killers often head toward just completed gens anyway)
- Know when Myers or Wraith have aura add ons
- Blocks Nurse's when killer can see you healing but they have a small or no terror radius
- Insurance for when you aren't near a gen or locker (good for cleansing hexes or end game when you're opening a gate/looking for hatch)
- Helps counter Iron Maiden
- No scratch marks for 10 seconds
Even with locker hiding there have been plenty of times where I was a few seconds away from a locker and would have been seen if not for Distortion. -
I've had plenty of times where I completely let go of the gen or was done with the locker exit animation and still got grabbed. It goes both ways.

A 5 or 6 perk game mode would be fun as one of the revolving game modes that the devs talked about potentially doing some day. But no, 5 perk slots in the base game mode would be too much IMO. Lots of things would have to be rebalanced for it to work.
-
Then it would make more sense to simply remove them from the game, not give killers a completely unnecessary buff.Cetren said:
Actually one of the main points the OP stated was getting them off the bloodweb. I don't want to earn them, because I don't want them AT ALL. They're worthless as an offering because there is zero prediction about whether or not you'll be in a situation to mori the last survivor. So either just remove the offeringoffering entirely so I stop having to waste it buying through my blood points or make the mechanic base. Literally not earning them is the whole point because nobody wants them.brokedownpalace said:The devs suggest adding Kindred to the "base kit" and now every other day there's a new topic about making some perk, like friggin NOED, part of it. No, it's not necessary. Just earn your Moris like intended. -
I mean it could be that the other survivors are so inspired by your greatness that they increase their productivity.
-
The devs suggest adding Kindred to the "base kit" and now every other day there's a new topic about making some perk, like friggin NOED, part of it. No, it's not necessary. Just earn your Moris like intended.
-
Kind of a silly oversight.
While we're on the topic, why do the survivor escape ones say "escape and survive?" You can't do one without the other.
Just a nitpick.
-
They said several months ago that they still want to do it but it's not a priority. I wish they would update us again because it WAS part of the roadmap and it should either be honored or they should own up to dropping the idea.
-
Millions of bloodpoints as a reward once a month is absurd. And knowing how concerned the devs are about the bloodpoint economy, it would never happen. Rewards in the hundreds of thousands would make more sense.
-
I mean Myers so rarely attempt it (or they're attempting it and failing) that it doesn't really matter, IMO. I've probably only seen three Myers, including myself, successfully kill 3 or 4 people using either instakill add on in my 2k+ hours of playtime.
-
Isn't .10% a tenth of one percent? Do you mean 10%?
-
Why not? Why should anything do anything? This has the potential to be a really good perk but there are too many situations where tokens get completely wasted and you're not benefitting from it.TAG said:
Can't you say the same thing about, say, Barbecue & Chili if you and someone else are working on the same gen? Why should it grant both of you the same benefit?brokedownpalace said:The only thing that's annoying is when someone else is healing you, your aura is blocked but not theirs, but the killer can see that they are healing so it's a complete waste of a token. -
But it's risky since you don't know if he can see you go in there. If he sees you and gets close enough that's pretty much a free hit or grab. And you have to leave eventually, in which case he may immediately see you again.
-
They will give us updates on stuff like Freddy and the DS rework when they have something concrete to talk about.
I also thought it was a great stream. -
So it will affect healing, unhooking, opening chests, exit gates, and cleansing? Am I missing any?
Having other survivors heal and unhook you 25% faster could save your ass, especially if other buffs are involved (Botany, someone else using Leader nearby, etc). Letting someone open an exit gate 25% faster + they have Wake Up equipped means the base opening would drop from roughly 20 seconds to 12. That's massive. With a full stack of Remember Tokens you go down from 50 to 30 seconds. That's awesome.
Is that all situational? Of course, but I'm the kind of person that loves to play off meta builds (I don't use SC, SB or DS unless I'm going for a special build or ritual). I think it's a great change. -
Yeah I think that would be a great change, too. Not sure if I like your idea or mine more tbh.powerbats said:I think allowing her to vault pallets/windows while crouched but not in ambush/lunge would be fine and still stay in ambush mode.
In essence she'd be crouched still and still have slow vault speed but she'd do it silently giving no noise notification.
-
Legion needs changes, too. The more the merrier
-
That's not a good reason. They can make it longer or so the time spent vaulting doesn't count.Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:Doesn't seem worth it for how short her lunge is. -
Of course it's more reliable. That doesn't mean it's better. That being said, I agree with @Tsulan that neither are worth a slot.
-
Most of the swf groups I play against are alruistic to a fault and I end up with 3 or 4 kills because they swarm the hook and trade downs while maybe one of them is working on gens.
-
Also that new Thanatophobia is absolutely cancerous.
-
Lol so anytime a survivor uses No Mither everyone gets hit with a 15% penalty?
-
What are you talking about? There were terror radius issues for MONTHS.DwightsLifeMatters said:
I mean, how fast was the sound bug fixed with the terrorradius for survivors? 1 week?Peanits said:
Or more realistically recreating a bug that happens very, very rarely with no clear cause isn't an easy thing to do. It has nothing to do with which side it affects, that's ridiculous.DwightsLifeMatters said:Not directly with bamboozle, but more that the survivor could vault over and over again after the entity blocked the window. Known bug since months. But since this is a bug which hurts the killer and not the survivor don't expect some fixes soon
Meanwhile, since the first engine update back then in 2016 the sound got back to the way it used to be for killers (which was better in all ways). -
Based on what criteria?
-
@weirdkid5 are you still pretending to be a survivor main or have you dropped the act?
-
They will never stop crying about it, sorry. Just learn to laugh at it like I have. The best part is it's the same people whining about it at every possible opportunity and guess what? They're still playing the game and spending 24/7 on the forum. 4 player try hard SWF is SO COMMON and it makes playing killer SO AWFUL but here they are.. day in, day out. Apparently hating every second of their time here. 🤣
-
That's just what happens because the devs never created a new animation and it gives the killer a chance to grab them. You realize a survivor could simply crawl into an open hatch, correct?jackmadrox said:I don't think Survivors should be able to escape through hatch if they're grounded. You mean to say they can bounce into a full leap from off their stomachs? Kind of ridiculous.

Nobody owes you anything, especially not strangers in a video game. Get over yourself.
-
Nah.
-
Swatting and doxxing are not common in the US. They were just in the news for a little bit because of two notable incidents.
-
I see it. *shrug*
-
You could just do a search. But I'm sure this isn't a genuine question.
-
Borrowed Time has failed to activate within the killer's TR a couple times since the latest patch.
-
The second combo is how I unlocked the trophy for killing all 4 survivors in EW. Got the last guy literally 6 feet from the hatch. It was glorious.EntityDispleased said:If a Myers with a Judith's Tombstone is able to get more than one kill then either you or your team sucked. If a Myers with a Fragrant Tuft and Judith's Tombstone is able to get any kills at all (assuming they're not hooking or downing anyone) before the gens pop then you or your team seriously sucked.

With. Beards are beautiful.

It's a real treat. I always played a pink Master Chief so you can imagine the names I got called. The thing is I don't put stock in the opinions of strangers over the internet.Vietfox said:@brokedownpalace said:

Honestly I would love to see the age statistics for this game and specifically the users here. I can't imagine many people who grew up playing Halo 2 or the early COD could say this game is any more toxic than them. People literally screaming ######### into your ear the whole match.
-
I did 5. It's average.
-
Double BP starts like the 27th I think.
-
You can't just say SWF is too strong. There are too many factors to consider. Are 4 skilled and communicative partners with meta load outs and the best items going to give most killers a hard time? Yes. But there's also 2-4 kids who only play together stoned and talk about memes the whole time. You can't just buff killers to SWF A-team level because solo survivors would get absolutely destroyed and it is not possible to ever make solo survivors as strong as SWF because then killers would get destroyed and SWF would get made even stronger.KingB said:@brokedownpalace I was using generic terms to simplify the state of balance. What's your point here? Are you trying to dispute that the game is unbalanced? Are you trying to find what I meant when I said SWF?
What they really should be doing is compensating killers and making it easier to pip/safety pip when against SWF.
-
Just being in a SWF isn't enough to go on. How many? 2, 3, 4? How skilled are they? Are there two good players and two newbies? How good is the killer? What killer is it? What perks are they all carrying? Add ons? Offerings? Maps? How's the RNG?
Stop acting like SWF is one monolithic thing. -
Honestly, complaining that the PTB isn't long enough or they didn't do an update is silly. They've got deadlines, they need to keep moving and making money. In a perfect world they'd be able to iron everything out and release a flawless patch. That's not going to happen. It never has. Legion isn't unplayable. You might not understand how to use him or like how he plays but if you bought him after reading about the PTB and the changes they were going to implement then that's your own fault. It's akin to buying an EA game for $60 and then complaining when it's inevitably being sold at $30 three months later. It's called the early adopter's fee. In situations like Freddy it's ridiculous, I admit, but Clown? Spirit? They got good buffs and are very viable killers. Is Legion going to be as good as them? I'm not so sure, but that's the risk you take when you rush to buy new content. Everyone can come on here and complain till their blue in the face but the only thing that talks is numbers aka $$$.
