  • Seems fine to me but the animation looks a bit silly now.

  • Shape is the better killer but pig is more fun to play imo.

    • Michael has the best snowball in the game and one bad survivor move can end the game fast against a good Michael.
    • Pig has a lot of stall potential so if you're as sick of genrush as much as the majority of killers are she would be the way to go, her ambush also has a lot of good chase potential on medium sized loops.
  • My guess is we get wraith and freddy next, then Pig and LF (or LF and then trapper again)

  • Smart survivors don't give him free hits like everybody is claiming. He gets a lot of free pallet drops but that does not do much when he is getting genrushed. I place him next to pig and I wish I could put him higher. He just has nothing going for him other than his good chasing. Either way I am happy to see people enjoying him as much as I do. Try throwing at the top of the cow tree, it increases the spread of the bottles tremendously.

But that’s the point? It’s supposed to be a bright light in you’re eyes, hence why there are addons that make it brighter.

I legitimately can't play with more than one light in the lobby because it hurts my eyes and gives me headaches. Just make it a black screen like the killer is closing his eyes.

But then they’d have to change brightness duration addons, and I really don’t think you’d want insta-blinds back.

They could always make the add ons do something else without bringing instablinds back. For example, the fov could go down slightly for a time, or the killers hearing could be affected as well as if the entity loses control for a second.

  • I'd like balance to revolve around 8 hooks. A fun game is one where I get to even out pressure without camping and tunneling. Getting 3 hooks on two people is unfun for the two that didn't see the killer all game, unfun for the people that got tunneled and camped and unfun for the killer that feels like they have to tunnel and camp to get a kill. Because if a two kill average is being met currently it's quite obviously due to camping and tunneling all game or the survivors being rank 21s

    1. Clown
    2. Trapper
    3. Pig
  • Pig.
The only killer that can semi-stop the survivors that huddle around gens the entire game. After a few games where I spent more time in the lobby than playing I know I can always get a win with Pig.

  • I would never even mention the perk if it didn't make Freddy absolutely useless.

  • Well the next killer is a female if we follow the devs pattern. So I'm hoping for something spider-like or has something to do with mirrors. No clue why, I just think the devs could do something cool with mirrors.

  • They want to let me know that I'm having trouble catching them and want get in my head so that I throw the game tunneling. I simply move on to another survivor, waste some pallets and get a hook. Go back and now our tbagging buddy has no clue which pallets are up, they won't have time to tbag now.

I saw an idea on the steam fourms that gave a debuff to hooked survivors for a certain period of time after being unhooked, their repair efficiency would be reduced by I believe the original poster said 25%. Making games longer and actively going against tunneling. I quite liked the idea. What do you all think?

If tunneling is still the best way to win, I don't think it will change much.

Hook 4 people for a 25% repair reduction overall versus tunneling one person for an even better deal. Which would you choose?

Depends on a number of factors really. How many gens are done, did I get smacked with DS for a really long chase etc. If I was early into the game with no gens or one gen done I would take the slow and even out my pressure and just play cleanup late game because it would be more enjoyable for me. If I had three gens done after that first chase then I would naturally tunnel making a more boring game but one where I can scrape out a kill. All depends on that early pressure and if the survivors use it or not.

I don´t want another Howling Grounds.
I still get flashbacks from that terrible event.

    Howling grounds. FLASHbacks. heh.

  • Idk. I think you guys are underestimating the devs. At least on the survivor side. I got the chance to play against Jeff who I believe is on the QA team and he was actually pretty decent at survivor. No clue on the killer end though but, the survivors won't be rank 20s or anything. I DO however want to see the map design team get looped for five gens and ran along infinite loops on things like Wretched shop and disturbed ward as killer.

  • Played Michael for the first time in 5 months (still hate him)
Stalked a streamer to tier 3 because they have no situational awareness.
    Get three downs.
    "He's running fast stalk"
Reported when he saw I had no add-ons.
    Stalk hacks guys. 100%

Report system does not work, I would just ignore it.

  • Billy, Nurse, Huntress

Billy is too easy. Nurse makes me dizzy. Huntress is too slow.

What do you want survivors to do just die and not do gens? The objective is to get out and the way to do that is to do gens.

Nobody is upset with the survivors for gen-rushing. People are upset that the developers allow the gens to be done in less than three minutes.

  • With the trapper and hag getting buffs my buddies and I have been guessing the next killer is trap based, that would be nice.

  • Laurie, she knows what she brought into this game.

  • You could be the best player in the world and run DS. I would still think you were hot garbage at the game. It's a crutch for bad players.
  • A lot of people say lockers and I heavily disagree with that. The best advice I can give is to simply avoid the terror radius. At the beginning of the match run towards the doctor as he chases his first catch and get into madness one. It takes much longer to get from 1 to 2 than 0 to 1. If you're feeling really ballsy go to madness two, you'll get some illusions but it takes forever to get into madness 3 and scream again. After you get to madness one or two go back to playing stealth how you normally would or leave the TR when you hear it. If he has distressing just stealth normally.

To think I was coming on here to see what other people thought but what I got was a bunch of childish ######### who favor killers most likely because they only play them 24/7 and low ranking obviously I meant people who aren't below 10. Apparently though I can't get any reasonable answers besides being called delusional, ignorant, and people laughing again to only be ######### when obviously I have a sense of reason in what I'm talking about but apparently this is the internet why would anyone be reasonable? Facts are facts killers are overpowered. survivors nope.

If you want a reasonable debate ask for one. Don't go and say "I am saying this because it's true." because you and I both know that you don't want your stance to change on the subject. Also yes, everybody is going to mock you because it is a widely known fact that killer is extremely weak. In general lets say that a chase lasts for about 40 seconds, with pallet looping, windows and infinite loops in large buildings I say 40 is fair for an average chase at rank one against a smart survivor. A generator can get completed in 80 seconds. So the killer loads into a game and finds his first survivor, lets say that takes about 20 seconds to get around the map. So once the chase ends you have three gens that are on the verge of completion. With the time it takes to pick up and hook a survivor I would say by the time you get to a gen after that or find another survivor three gens should be done on an optimal team. If this trend continues the killer only gets two hooks. If the survivors play optimally and stick to the generators there is literally no way that the killer can win. At most he can get one kill through camping. If your statement about "high hour killer bias" was directed towards me I'm a rank 1 survivor almost every season as well.

  • His biggest counter is quite simply rushing gens. He gets rushed so hard that he will not be able to do anything at high rank. He has very bad snowball. Just rush the gens and clown will be a nonissue.

  • @MoonMoon said:
So what I'm seeing in the comments is that a bunch of low ranking people who think killer is underpowered lmfao.

I can give a better example the jump scare Myers build easily used and you can end games pretty quickly and note this is rank 1 killer against survivors under rank 5 if you don't believe me how that's played then at this point the discussion is useless to people who are brain damaged.

Look at how low rank I am guys. I've only ever touched the game once.

  • @Dabrownman1812 said:
You can win without camping absolutely, no matter what killer you use. Step da game up. Plenty do it, practice a kyf match a bit then. All killers should be treated differently, if you need ruin or noed then use it, don't need to camp to win.

I personally Disagree. I can play Trapper at rank one pretty well as well as Clown and Pig. When good survivors are playing against these mid tier killers they simply get genrushed to the point at which you need to camp/tunnel to win. It's just the way of the game when the gens are popping at the speed of light.

  • My first win was a Billy game where I was called a racial slur and told that I should have been aborted. Good times.

  • If the survivor ran DS they already got a free escape that game but other than that I always let a 4% go. If the game is going bad I slug them with KO instead of hooking them so I can get a lead.

You can't expect every killer to play by made up rules though.

Nerf three gen, encourage commitment to chases. Three gen is a meme build that my ex-doc main self looks down upon heavily, It is not meant to be a serious build and a lot of people see it and decide "Well this youtuber says it's the best". If the devs were to for example make shakey skill checks an add on again and in turn making something like illusion pallets in t2/3 baseline Doc players will be encouraged to pursue a more engaging play style (it does sound op, none of his other add-ons would do the job though, he probably just needs a different mechanic or a base shock increase)

Why should you nerf the result of the Survivors' mistake? If the Killer is holding the game hostage, that's a reason for reporting them. If the Killer is taking advantage of the Survivors' lack of map awareness, that's a reason for the Survivors to play better. Neither is a reason to nerf capitalizing on a mistake.

I know almost all of the killer things in this game are preventable and this is something that really isn't without being a 4 man swf. If the survivors three gen themselves then it sucks to suck at the game but, if the Doc just sits there they really can't do much. So the survivors messing up is on them, the problem is when Doctor players sit at the three gen and do nothing.

I also agree with mid tier placement. His chase is decent if your aim is solid, but he suffers (again.. AGAIN) like all other killers from looping. He forces an early drop at best, which.. y'know, means little since there are so many pallets on each map. Prettyfeelsbad

I've went to running full stall. Stick to the most scared survivor of the group. You can make them waste all the pallets fairly quickly. His power can also be VERY anti infinite if used correctly. Also if they made his extra hindered add-on base he would be amazing.

  • Mid tier. Has a lot of tricks and things to learn he just needs a bit more of a punch to be viable.

  • Billy, he just feels cheap due to the fact that he gets results while being terribly easy imo.

  • I like to switch from a very toxic looking Claudette with a flashlight to a Pizza Dwight at the last second.

If survivors don't ready up with 10 seconds left you should just dodge.

  • I threw a clown bottle at the right position on the cow tree to completely cut off the loop. The DC was glorious.

  • @Soren said:
Yes, he has the best learning curve / results ratio, and is probably over powered compared to the other killers. But compared to survivors, his kit is balanced ; in other words, we need overpowered killers to face survivors (who are overpowered in the current state of the game).

Pretty much this. He is really easy to get into but, the game needs easier characters. He will need some tweaking once the survivors are balanced out though.

  • Personally I play at rank one every season now. Rank 12-8 are a major pain in the ass but people at rank one are normally chill. Some maps upset me when I load into them like Disturbed ward and Haddonfield but I can generally manage. The only thing that really tilts me is that I run full stall perks and the game still gets done in less than 5 minutes if the survivors know how to play. I just take a break after that for a few minutes, play a few rounds of pig and keep on killing with Clown and Trapper after that.

  • Lithe + DWM rewards good play and positioning in a chase. This will not be seen as a meta combo any time soon for that reason. Every other meta perk gives survivors rewards for making mistakes or at the least fixes those mistakes for free. Lithe + DWM is really good, but it's not overbearingly strong like the current meta and it rewards good play instead of rewarding the survivor for getting outplayed or playing poorly.

  • Hex: The nightmare - The nightmares power is now tied to a hex totem, this totem takes 7 seconds to destroy and once destroyed removes the nightmares ability to pull survivors into the dream world.

Angles are everything. There are spots like this that grant free hits on almost every map. (480p for your viewing displeasure)

  • I like all of the autohaven maps as well as red forest. I'm tempted to DC the second I get Haddonfield or Disturbed ward.

  • I don't think the nerf fixes anything. It destroys vigil, hurts Dead hard a lot. It does not solve the problem with SB which is that the survivor can have absolutely abysmal positioning and get away for free. SB needs a nerf, not Vigil and DH.

  • Leatherface = Leatherbilly
    Freddy = Diddler
    Clown = Absolute unit
    Huntress = No funtress

  • Survivor: Surviving.
Killer: 8 Hooks. I want to get everybody to struggle. Don't care if any of them die.
