The thirty seconds kind of seals the perks fate as a three gen perk. I feel like i'm wasting time rushing tubby to a gen just to lose my hook and find a gen that has no progress. It might be a bit too good but it would be nice if the perk just held one "charge" until you kicked a gen.
It is also really good on BBQ billy. -

Wanna talk about wasted potential. Gotta bring up gigantic, I miss that game so much. They had to shut down the servers, I lost a lot of friends when they did that. Really interesting game and I wish it lasted longer.I never played it, but I just did some glancing and PWE was involved so I'm assuming that's where it went wrong. The publishers now-a-days are so money hungry they ruin incredible games.
Yep, game couldn't get a big enough playerbase being that it was something unique in a market filled with MOBAs. PWE completely cut off the funding and let off the developers.

Maybe switch around pig and clown, give nurse some gas based attacks, while doctor can have the pig traps.
As a Doc player loving member of the community I gladly accept this. Three gen doctor needed something to help him out.

Unpopular opinion
Gen speed is the biggest issue with the balance and fixing it would fix the majority of killer issues. Looping is fine as long as gens don't get done in two minutes.
Also nobody wants the killers to be OP, they just want to enjoy the game and the balance currently prevents that entirely. There's nothing fun about being looped and being in the lobby longer then the game due to gen speeds.
-
He honestly feels too lackluster for me. He can do a lot against jungle gyms but any loop with los destroys his game.
-
Down survivors and start a slug race.
Also basement loot goblin leather-face. -
I learn more about him and start to see some definite worth but also a fair bit of weakness. He can shut down the shack and a lot of jungle gyms completely. On the downside long loops absolutely destroy him and the game messes with his throws. Long loops with los throughout are going to destroy his power.
-
Far from a ruin replacement but it is something I will seriously consider when building.
-
Honestly this game gets me upset a lot. I don't agree with a lot of the balance decisions and sometimes playing it is a chore. When I do get those special moments where I pull off some crazy juke, or my farming teammates get killed slowly or I kill that four man swf it's so satisfying and fun. I don't even have to win, as long as it's a fair match I always have loads of fun. I complain about this games balance a lot but, I wouldn't be able to see myself still playing games online without dbd.

Is the pallet vaccum removal coming in the PTB? New killer is cool and all but, the vacuum needs to burn this update. (I'm still really excited for the new killer)Yeah, they said balance changes were going in.
It's a dream come true.

I'd like this a lot. It's most likely a no though. I'd be cool with getting nothing for it but, I wouldn't complain about getting a few iri shards or an exclusive cosmetic.

hey all! ive got about almost 700 hours in the game and almost ALL of it is in survivor because its really hard for me to play killer because i am colourblind. (i.e., hard to see scratch marks on certain maps, basically the hardest thing).
I've tried using the advanced options with Nvidia and its not supported anymore, so it's back to being nearly impossible for me.
any tips would be great, I appreciate it!There's not really much other then nvidia that I know of. I've heard some people say bloodhound helps immensely. Other then that we just have to wait for freestyle to fix itself or for the devs to implement a colorblind mode.
-
Looks like he will be really high on the tier list.
-
The game has a way of making new players want to quit quite quickly. I fully recommend trying out all of the killers before deciding which one works for you. When I first got the game I only tried billy and now he is my least favorite killer to play. On the survivor side you want to level up Claudette first, the survivors are just skins with different teachable perks and Claudette's self care is the best perk in the game. Other then that the game is just learning with time. If you want I can try to help you out if you play on steam. Feel free to add me

Dude those ad ones doesn't count . it like you judge Michael be tombstone . it's completely different . you are answering yourself by saying ultimate combo . but a hag main can't bring ultimate combo every match .
I guess you're right, but still. I've played her before and I know she is good. You need a lot of game sense to make correct use out of her. I just feel like Rusty Shackles should be a base thing for her.
Rusty shackles removes the camera shift towards the phantasm which is extremely important to her play style. The add on hinders her a lot imo
-
Gen speeds. If I hook all 4 survivors once and don't tunnel I already know I lost the game for not getting a survivor out of the match as soon as possible. I hate tunneling but with how fast the gens get done it certainly feels required lately.

Huntress is extremely overrated because she can stop some loops. She still gets destroyed by any tall loop, the auto-haven trucks, low movement speed, nonexistent tracking ability. She has a good chase on some maps but, honestly stopping some loops does not make a killer A tier.
Hag on the other hand has the superior map control due to her traps, a much smaller window to hide especially with monitor and abuse, the ability to get a free hit on a fairly large number of loops. The only thing huntress is better at is time management and chases on a select few maps. Hag is the better killer she just takes much more time to learn.
So tell me hag in coldwind farm
Each killer has its own weakpoints . bringing the fact that tall loops counters huntress doesn't have anything to do with hag .
The point is huntress has so many weaknesses compared to hag. Hag sucks on coldwind sure but, she excels on the majority of the other maps. Huntress has something on almost every single map that messes with her. Coldwind has the loops around the hay bales, Auto-haven has the trucks, etc; Huntress simply does not have the ability to succeed in a game with lots of stealth players, she can't win on certain maps unless the survivors royally mess up. Huntress is absolutely horrible at everything except chases but even then some loops can ruin the match for her. She's extremely overrated.
Why would Hag sucks in coldwind ? She's small and rather hard to spot. With M&A, she has no trouble sneaking on survivors. The main juking spot of half coldwind map is the shack, and the shack is a wonderful place for Hag, especially if it has basement. (Aka Rottenfields, one of her best map)
It would be nice to discuss Hag gameplay with people ACTUALLY playing her, rather than doing some theory on "what is supposedly happening at high ranks against her"
Personally I just hate every killer on cornfield. I feel like hag struggles there but then again I'm far from a really experienced hag and I struggle there as every killer. Not a lot of corners for hag mainly, a lot of the maps are super open so I struggle to find good trap spots other then the obvious shack and cow tree.

Nurse
Billy
Hag
Huntress
Myers
Doctor
Pig
Cannibal
Wraith
Trapper
Freddy -
My hope is still a ranged area denial killer. He throws out the gas near a pallet or a window that he is being looped on, the survivor can either tank the gas and get a debuff/injured or they can leave the loop. If the killer has this power and a top hat I will never touch doc again.
-
Trapper. His setup is too long. He simply isn't viable because he has to waste time lumbering around the map for traps. It sucks because I really love his design and feel like he has a lot of potential cosmetics wise.
-
Load in as overcharge/unnerving Freddy.

-
Two generators.
-

This was my favorite cosplay that I've seen so far.
-
Any map with lots of LOS blockers generally give me the creeps. Lery, Haddonfield and, the game mainly.
-
BBQ is a difficult thing to talk about from a balance standpoint. The safest thing to say here is that the perk for the most part is fine. The terror radius normally is a dead give away that the killer is nearby and should be enough time to run. Due to the speed at which killers move I generally think that the perk is fine from a balance standpoint. There are a few soft counters like hiding behind an unfinished generator or walking in one direction for four seconds and then turning around.
-
Dark sense: Once you escape a chase with the killer have their aura revealed to you for 6/7/8 seconds.
I always escape and run right back into Nurses arms.
-
Hands down my favorite film is The Fly. As far as more gory things go I'm a sucker for saw.
-
Laurie. We all know what perk they're packing.
-
I'm happy to see Sabo. Bonus points for no mither. It's nice to see survivors doing another objective.
-
To be entirely honest I like the PTB having the new chapter. The if the killer is too weak or too strong they can be toned accordingly more quickly leading to more balance and sooner. I don't exactly know how Microsoft and Sony do PTB's. My friends that play on console are disappointed they don't get to play it early but at the same time videos will be everywhere. I know this isn't exactly what you want to hear but look on the bright side, we all get to see the killer earlier and watch game-play.

I hate the doctor since for some reason the devs decided to let this toxic community decide who to buff when there are killer that needed buffs way more cough cough WRAITH and the Doc's shock that causes you to teleport back after you already vaulted a window is downright wrong. I'm a kIller main, but I refuse to accept bs mechanics since we, as Killers have gone against more than a fair share with the survs having them. It's pathetic.Sounds like you are describing lagg, it has nothing to do with the doc ;D
Oh it's not lag. That's an actual thing the doc can do with the absolute pixel perfect timing. People will fly back to the wrong side of the window. It's probably a bug that should be fixed
I am P3 doctor, but the thing you are describing only happens if I am downloading sth in the background
Maybe we are thinking of different things. I'm talking about this which can be timed.

I think the change is garbage, and that the perk will now always be used as a 3rd hook/end game crutch.This. I'd much rather just make it an exhaustion perk so you can't pair it with SB in your build or make it require an item so that I can run Franklins on every killer.
-
I feel the same. He's the fourth worst killer imo right in front of Wraith, Trapper and, Freddy. I'd like his power to have more mind-games so that good players can profit, one suggestion I saw was to have him be able to just tap m2 to make a sound as if the chainsaw was being charged (without the slow). Survivors would go for another loop and give LF a free hit.

I hear fellow killer mains frequently stating that self care, desicive strike, borrowed time (before), and sprint burst are op, and should be nerfed, BECAUSE they are the most used perks.By that logic shouldn’t ruin and BBQ be nerfed?
BBQ needs some sort of downside on Billy and Nurse. It's just for BP on other killers. Ruin is actually a horrible perk, I hate running it the totem never lasts and you barely get any stall from it. Sadly the gens just get done so fast that you get forced into running ruin unless you play Billy/Nurse. Trust me if the gen speeds were a little more reasonable nobody would run ruin.
-
Billy.
He can be looped sure but he has insane mobility, a one hit down and, BBQ. There is nothing fun about getting back-revved all game. He's the one killer that I feel required to loop against. -
I'd also really like one of trappers designs like this.

It does unless there's some bug I didn't know about. It won't hide blood or anything though so it's better to not get injured.

I hear ya, but to be fair thats just his opinion. His content is great in my opinion, as is his knowledge of the game and its mechanics.I love his gameplay videos. I just think he goes out of his way to say Doc and Hag are bad without learning them fully and it leaves a bad impression. Full respect for him though, he was a part of what got me playing.
-
Personally It's up to that killers style. I hate having games where people hide in corners and nothing happens so I play a full tracking Doc. I wish chases were a bit less in the survivors favor but I honestly enjoy it more then the survivors falling asleep at their keyboards. Gen speeds need to be fixed if chases are going to be that long however.
-
I got stuck with one group for some unknown reason. Luckily I was playing Wraith so I didn't confuse them or stomp.
