Yeah, when Hawkins was in rotation it was one of most hated maps by the playerbase, usually considered the worst until Midwich and then RPD took that place.
I hope it will never return in any form.
What!?
Hawkins was one of my favorite maps in the game. Easily the best indoors map.
@Mandy said:
Hawkins has been permanently removed from rotation...at the same time as Stranger Things was removed from sale in the store. I do not know where the idea that this map was returning came from, but it's definitely not the case. Maybe you mean Haddonfield?
Wishful thinking, I assume. That map, along with Yamaoka and Midwich are the few that I'm never sad to go to. The atmosphere, visuals and flow of these maps was/is perfect.

Okay, this cracked me up.

Sick of the toxicity, body blocking and bullying. Even my therapist says this game isnt mentally healthy for me but I don't really have anything else to do right now after getting out of the hospital for suicide attempt.
I want to have fun playing this game but everyone seems to just be a toxic bully these days on here. Guess I can go play COD or other games I've gotten bored playing, or play Elden Ring, which is lonely AF...
FYI im not bald. My avatar has a buzzed haircut but they made fun of what I supposedly looked like. Not just this one guy, but his entire SWF. I'm sick of it.
I reported this, but I wanted to showcase why I dint want to play killer anymore. It isn't fun. It's even worse to be bullied after almost every game.

I sympathize, but sadly the fact of the matter is that BHVR have stated pretty frankly that they consider 'smack talk' to be an essential part of online gaming.
I disagree and think that this stance is decades out of date, and that it's going to come back and bite them eventually - but it is what it is.

I disabled messages on PSN from people not on my friends list; now I just get friend requests with nasty messages attached.
As others mentioned, it doesn’t seem to matter who ‘won’ or how you played.
Bad losers are sort of expected but I’ve never seen so many bad winners in a game community before, and I’ve spent a lot of time playing fighting games where similar behaviour can be a thing.
I have depression and anxiety myself and there doesn’t seem a perfect solution; either put up with the toxicity and suffer, or quit playing the game you love and suffer. I also struggle playing the killer role as often my anxiety is so bad sitting on the lobby screen before I’ve even started searching for a game, like some sort of PTSD from all the previous terrible experiences and I just end up lobby dodging endlessly.
I had a group calling me all sorts of nasty things, after I literally let 3 people leave on Demogorgon. Was a fun game.
The ingame community in DbD is appalling, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the reasons that this game seems to be struggling to retain newer players.

Honestly I think these look really, really, really good. Final picture has 2 windows upstairs open though and I'm genuinely afraid of House Of Pain ever making a return so manifesting that's a nifty little feature of concept art and nothing more.
Thoughts?
It does look cool, but I wish we had that Depth of Field in game. Love the effect.

It's J Myers Memorial/Hair Bow/Bamboozle. Longer tier 3, achieved in a reasonable amount of time, actually has control in chase without being game breaking.
Vanity Mirror turns him into an M1 killer which is too easy. If he wasn't, you'd see Legion and Pig 4King all the time because they're on the same level of M1-killerness.
Tombstone Piece and Fragrant Tuft of Hair are just cheap or, for lack of a better term, too hard.
Tombstone Piece just removes you instantly from the game, faster than old moris, faster than Sadako's mori, and the killer doesn't even have to damage you. He just has to touch you. And the "cOuNtErPlAy" is to jump in a locker and give him a free down, or see that has hand is slightly different, or somehow know exactly how much stalk he's gotten off on you and/or your teammates.
Fragrant Tuft of Hair is somewhere between Hair Bow and Tombstone Piece in terms of power. It takes competence to beat for sure, like not healing when you know the killer has instadowns the rest of the game (some haven't figured that out). So you have 1 chance in chase for the rest of the game, unless there's Dead Hard, and otherwise good survivors are comfortable staying injured and still progressing. But the fact that it's infinite, and that it's usually paired with a stalking add-on so he gets it much faster than he's supposed to, is what gets me about it.
Scratched Mirror is the most annoying thing ever, because if it's not on an indoor map, it's trash. But if it's on an indoor map, it's like Spirit with aura reading because it's like "Wow, you can see my aura but I can't even see yours with any of the perks I could equip." It honestly takes a SWF to beat unless the survivors are actually all efficient on gens.
The other insignificant add-ons like his brown tier 3 extending add-on, his aura read after stalking add-ons, and his movement speed while stalking add-ons, are too weak and again are too easy to go against.
I spent way too much BP to maintain my Vanity Mirror + Dead Rabbit + Monitor sneaky Myers. It's so much fun.
Definitely not the best on some maps, or versus a strong SWF, but I love the aura reading and I really do get the sense that I'm occasionally scaring the pants off people.
Myers is just a cozy killer. He's not the best, but he's so intuitive to play.

Rize from Tokyo Ghoul would be fun. Or Zodd from Berserk.

Sure, absolutely. But it's a UR, and we don't get to know which map we're going to.

My english is bad, sorry.
Two builds that work really well for me:
Plaything + Pentimento + Thana + BBQ - will force people to run around and encourage them to cleanse. BBQ helps you find your next chase and also helps her terrible BP gains.
Pain Resonance + Dead Man's Switch + Discordance + Thana - PR kicks people off gen, DMS blocks it. They'll often double up on another gen so Discordance will let you find them. If you keep your tempo up, this build is absolute chaos.

There is already plenty of good advice here I won't repeat it.
I just wanted to restate to remember that its only a game and while some people take it way to seriously, the goal is not to get tilted even in the face of really obnoxious play.
Obnoxious play, while not the most fun, is not always malicious and feeling attacked because of it is a recipe for getting angry at the game. Don't do it to yourself or let anyone else do that to you.
Abuse post game really is a problem though and should be reported every time. Its sad that people feel the need to do this over a game. Toxicity goes both ways but I do find you get a 10 fold increase of it on the killer end so there is gonna be more of it.
Take measures to keep yourself safe online and report what you can, hopefully we can one day have a better gaming community who can act like adults no matter what happens to them in a video game.
Keep in mind that the devs have made it crystal clear that they consider 'smack talk' to be an essential part of online gaming. Why...I have no idea.
Unless it's rising to the level of racial slurs or actual threats, I wouldn't bother reporting.

4 weeks ago i hadnt faced a hook camper in like a month or 2 but now its like 6 out of 7 matches just pure hook camping and yet the killers that doesnt hook camp complain "yOu RuN mEtA pErKs" which ive stopped doing but honestly DS is a must at this point
its so boring because i find killer overwhelming due to ######### perks like CoH making it 3 time harder to perform well one some killers and then im like ooh fine i will play some survivor... and the killer is just an hook camper that says GGEZ NOOBS from russia playing nemesis :p
Something as simple as removing the skillchecks or bringing back the old stuggle would help 200x more it would make it so you can sit on your phone or something instead of sitting and doing skillchecks for 60 seconds...(i dont want to suicide so the killer gets even more value from it)
BHVR have said they don't like camping, and how powerful it is in the current meta. They are working on a change - but this is really something that has to be done carefully, lest you totally break the game again.

Nowhere near as common as the Big Four, but he's around.
Probably a combination of being the ultimate 'brain off stabby stabby' comfort killer, having two SSS tier addons (maybe half the Myers I see are either Tuft or TSP), one really fun combo with Vanity Mirror and a very simple kit.
He's also a pretty iconic killer.

Hello everyone, I recently started playing Blight and I am really bad with him. I enjoy playing and trying to improve my blight. But lately I have been getting very toxic players almost every match and it’s really hurting my motivation to play him. I’ve gotten multiple people keeping the game hostage now and not doing gens just so they can keep clicking their flashlights at me for 30 minutes, I have gotten some very nasty messages in the end game chat and it honestly surprised me how emotional people get over a game. I just want to ask all of you killer players. How do you deal with toxicity and what can I do to not care about it so much?
Standard BM, like teabagging and seizure flashlights...you'll just learn to shrug off. It's annoying, it can get under your skin sometimes, but BHVR are totally fine with it so there isn't much to do. Make sure you turn Postgame chat off...almost nothing good ever goes on in there.
Out of game harassment - Make sure your Steam profile is set to private (or whatever console players do). Trust me on this. Unless you want your Steam wall looking like the door in a men's room cubicle, DbD is the game to go Private for. People in this game can be...unwell.
People taking the game hostage - The only thing you can do is AFK or DC. I've had groups like this from time to time, generally doing a 'let's make the killer DC lul' thing on stream, who'll stack perks and offerings with the goal of refusing to do the final gen and then being virtually unhookable. Double locker flashlights are the most common way to do this right now it seems, since Boil Over was mostly fixed.
Apparently you can report them for it, but I haven't heard of anyone actually getting banned for this, even anecdotally.

I see what you feel about Plague. She does feel janky at times. I still get puke validated which is frustrating.
Yeah I forgot to mention the other big problem, which someone else did.
A weird meta seems to have sprung up around her where survivors just...don't cleanse. At all. It generally doesn't work as you're essentially Tuft Myers (and if you bring info perks it's GG) but it does mean that you just don't get to use your kit at all and becomes frustrating as hell.
Often, I'll log on for the day and go 'ooh, let's play some Plague'. Two games later and I realize why I hadn't played her in a while.

Why is Plague still so rare when COH exists?
Since Nurse came back, this is how my survivor games have looked.
Plague is a...weird killer to play. She's very consistent, but has an odd feel to her. For the first third of the game, you really struggle - then somewhere in the next 2/3 you get a down and snowball from there - or sometimes that chance never comes and you get 2 hooks for the entire game. Plus, a lot of people don't cleanse and just force you to be an M1 killer with an instandown. She's weirdly stressful and often boring.

Because Nemmy is an unga bunga chargedown killer with a very easy to understand kit and the chaotic zombies thrown in. He's just really fun and works with a ton of builds.
A lot of Plague games, people just don't cleanse. It tends to be an easy win, but it gets really, really tedious.

Thank God they are reworking him. I'm hoping it as to do with his reveal mechanic and his power because he is TRASH.
I get revealed constantly and everywhere. You are in first-person you can't see survivors half the time when they are revealing you. Unless survivors are completely blind to your presence you get revealed from seemingly everywhere. I can be crouched in corn far from a survivor, revealed. What the hell is that. It's not even enough time to 99 a survivor half the time which is how you are ideally supposed to play him. Then you play survivor and you can be in his face 5 meters from him and you get exposed. It feels so broken on both sides but when I play killer I cannot play him the way he was int3nded to be played. The reveal mechanic is ridiculous and make a ridiculously weak m1 killer.
I hope they make his power more like Myers. I seriously have no idea how anyone thinks GF is better then Myers I see people say it quite a bit in tier lists. Myers can stalk WHENEVER HE WANTS and insta down on command, GF can be revealed before getting enough stalk to do it half the time. I hate playing this KILLER because of the reveal mechanic. You feel like the survivors are stalking you and not the other way around half the time.
Ghosty is a tricky killer to play well. You have to know how tiles work and how to approach gens from a position where you can lean, but won't be easily spotted - and if you are, tight enough not to give an easy reveal - stalking to 99% and then repositioning to attack without getting spotted, and chasing someone down to M1 before they lose their mark.
I've been learning him for the last few weeks and I'd say that he, in his own way, is at least as challenging to play well as Nurse or Blight. He's also really janky at times, looking forward to his rework.
Perks are essential on him, especially info and passive regression.
I'm having a decent amount of success with: Discordance + BBQ/Floods of Rage + Pain Resonance + Surge/Corrupt.
Pray that nobody is running Spinechill, this one dumb perk essentially hard counters him.
@Plsfix369 said:
Git gud, but sometimes awful maps tends to screw with ghostface. Myers is bad what do you mean.
Myers isn't the best killer, but he's a lot more 'comfortable' to play than Ghostface. His power is easy to understand and isn't subject to bad luck, jank and map RNG to work properly, and it doesn't have a ridiculous, punishing cooldown on top of the rest.
Plus, Myers has some nutty addons. Ghostface's are mostly really dull.
@SMitchell8 said:
He's decent against lower level players and/or on indoor maps. He's easy to bully on open maps though.
Definitely needs a bit of work
I actually prefer him somewhat on open maps, as I can often get in positions to stalk people where they can't really reveal me. 99% them, save power until you are in a chase, then boom - down they go.
Still though, he's a killer made of 100% pure jank, and badly needs his rework.
@Coffeecrashing said:
Survivors think Ghostface’s power is super confusing and frustrating, and can’t figure out how his reveal mechanic works, so it’s more likely that BHVR wants to rework him so that it’s much easier for survivors to reveal him, so that he feels “more fair”.
My guess would be his power would be reworked so that the survivor character models wouldn’t be able to block revealing, because that seems to be the #1 confusion with his power.
We'll see. Thus far the reworks/addon passes have been...mostly okay. Billy sucked, Bubba was decent, Plague was amazing, Demo was amazing, Myers was good, Pig's was awful, Wraith's was good (but overnerfed, sigh).

Mm.
If someone brings streamers, it's probably going to be a duo escape and 2 hooking everyone.
If it's a showboating SWF - bye bye. And I'll remember them for next time.
I just had a game on Ghostface (not one of my best killers) and was doing my normal thing - trying to get 1 hook on everyone before I start in on the killing. Next thing, their Yoichi decides that, since he got me to shack and managed to drop the pallet on me, it was time to start the flashlight strobing - and if there's one thing that's guaranteed to make me abandon every bit of my chill and bringing every bit of my focus to bear on the game, it's that crap.
They had 3 gens done, with 3 hooks.
They were dead before they got a 4th done.

Being bored of killers that camp and tunnel is definitely not the same as being bored of losing. Not even close.
Camping, as in facecamping is annoying - but it's getting fixed, and is generally a sign that someone has had a bad day.
Tunneling is nothing to get upset about. That's...just how killers play at high MMRs, if they don't want to get chimped on.

If there's a Scoops Ahoy Steve in my lobby, I will let them go no matter what and I won't lay a finger on them if I can help it. (I won't intentionally never chase them though, seeing as that's a reportable offense. I'll just make a slight effort to avoid them.)
Oh, and if there's a cheater, I will tunnel and camp said cheater (if by some miracle I catch them) and play mercilessly and be toxic towards the remaining survivors if they continue to play as if there wasn't a cheater in the lobby. (If I somehow kill the cheater then I'll just carry on with the match normally.) If the cheater is a Scoops Ahoy Steve I'll attempt to kill them but with tears in my eyes.

Killers bring this onto themselves. The more survivors are heavily nerfed constantly with no end, the more killers have to be nerfed.
They are also constantly buffing killers and leaving broken things in the game for killers (ie. Dead Man's Switch, Blight, Pig's AFK).
Killers have it made when it comes to BHVR.

As a 50/50 player it's really both sides doing this people cry too much and the game is balanced around the lower skilled players, which is why you see nerf Noed and camping and other noob threads on here, people want to pretend like every game is a try hard death squad but in reality most of the player base isn't that good and you can easily still compete as a lower tier killer because of that but I won't deny that against good survivors there are quite a few killers who can't really compete and are forced into a camping or tunneling situation just to stay in the game
Eh...
This is an odd game.
When you first start out, killer seems unstoppable. After a few dozen hours, survivors seem unstoppable.
Facecamping is definitely too strong a strategy on some killers.
The issue isn't that you get nutty SWFs every game, it's that SBMM sometimes completely poops the bed.
Some survivor complaints are valid, and some killer complaints are valid. There is no good reason why killers like Pig, Clown, Legion, Ghostface, probably Onryo and a few others should be left to rot for ages while Blight and Nurse actually get buffs.
I think this stems from BHVR balancing this game too much around gross kill rates, rather than a more surgical approach.

I can't convince you, I get it. But I just want to say, fro. What I can see in her, the more I play as and against her, I see where her strengths lie, and she is not being given a fair enough observation. I said the same thing about Hag 4 years ago, just like Hexy and a few others, and people thought that was a joke. I say, give her time.
Hag on release was probably the worst killer BHVR ever made. She was quickly adjusted.
Who knows - maybe everyone is just Sadako-ing wrong? But I've looked at it from every angle I can think of, and I share Otz's opinion that she's, at best, 'below average'.

The iridescent switches on 4 TVS that you teleported to, base kit it should be 1. That way you'd be rewarded for using TVs well, and keep pressure where pressure needs to be if you keep turning on one by a progressed gen. If you were too flippant about teleporting and didn't find people, you'd still be punished by the cooldown which would be better.
There are so many ways to improve her - but Condemn is just a silly mechanic. Being able to mori someone instantly is impossible to balance. As it stands, it's mostly negligible. Buff it and it could end up being Tombstone Piece...and that's not ideal either.

i didnt push anything. I said in the beginning of this conversation that the thought had occured to me. No accusations or anything. i did not outright state that i think this is happening. In fact i said the opposite
Why are so uptight about this? I am allowed to speculate and if nothing is actually going on. Then its just banter on the forums and harms nothing.
Shrug.
If you are allowed to express an opinion, I'm also allowed to express the opinion that your opinion is a little daft :)

Just wanted to post this, as...I'm wondering if this is actually a server issue.
In my last 6 games, 5 have either had someone DC at the loading screen, or DC the second I down them. Not a rage DC, a 'a player has disconnected' complete match DC.
I have no idea if I'm just unlucky or what's going on.

I was right near it (killer didnt see me) then I went back on it after, me and my friend was 100% positive of PGTW. We predicted some other perks due to how they was playing but didnt see those either but cant really be 100% on those others.
I just found it weird as I'm usually on point and never wrong with the perks they're using. I just wasnt sure if it was like that bug which shows you versed one killer when you was actually against another (though this is rare and happens when they DC)
If you are certain it's a hacker, submit a report. That's about all you can do.

Yup because there are no white collar criminals out there lol. I dont believe this but I'm not going to sit there and act like its not possible
Possible?
Sure, anything is possible. It's possible that my keys were taken by a dwarf that lives under my stairs - but it's not a reasonable belief, as it's infinitely more likely that I'm just an old man who can't remember where he puts things.
Ockham it.

I just said in my last comment that im going to start following up my reporting with checking back on the accounts. It genuinely never occurred to me to check on previously reported cheaters. The only reason why I made this post was because I saw a hacker yesterday that I reported a week ago.
If anything you and a few others here just reassured me that it works. Which is kind of what I was looking for. Why so hostile?
Because you are pushing a silly theory that the developers are actually involved in selling hacks. That's not an accusation you really want to make without some sort of evidence, even obliquely.

Hence why i said my conspiracy brain. Weirder stuff has come true though to say that it has no basis in reality is a bit hyperbolic
No, it has no basis in reality. I don't think I've ever heard of a mainstream competitive game where the devs were involved in selling hacks - not just because it would be career suicide, but because it would almost certainly be illegal.

@EntitySpawn said:
So while I have vast knowledge of DBD I dont tend to track every bug so i thought I'd ask if it's a known bug or a cheater.
Basically the killer was using perks that wasnt in his load out at the end. For example it was very clear PGTW was being used, i was even in a duo swf and they confirmed the same (I always try figure out their build during the match) But end of the game an 0 PGTW in their load out.
I dunno if this is a visual bug or this player is somehow using more than 4 perks
If PGTW is being used without having it equipped, that's a cheater.
That said, the visual on kicking the gen is a little difficult to determine at a glance.

My conspiracy brain thinks that bhvr has their hands in that money based off of their lack of trying to fight it. I hope not because if thats the case we wont ever see it leave the game.
Yeah that's something of a crackpot theory that almost certainly has no basis in reality.

I value mechanical skill above everything else, you need hundreds of hours practice with Nurse to be playable at all, the other killers are very easy compared to her. Blight is Nurse lite though, still he lot easier than Nurse
Huh.
Honestly, I've tried to learn both.
Blight is indeed easier to pick up, but once you get to a certain point I'd say he's a lot more demanding to play well.
Nurse is harder to pick up, but...once you get the tempo of her blinks down and have a rough idea of how survivors are going to move, the rest is just refinement.

Nemesis and Artist deserve to be way lower. A trained parakeet could learn how to play these Killers.
What?
Nemesis has quite a lot to learn regarding which objects he can hit over, and how to move the lingering hitbox of his tentacle.
Artist requires you to know how survivors run loops, predict movements and land repeated skillshots.

To be fair, being the first one hooked/downed always sucks.
Yes, it does.
But it sucks way more for your 3 allies when you DC, and for the killer who was hoping for a proper game.

3 days of not being able to play at all is soft? LMAO what
Yes.
Soft.
The amount of DCing that would require would get you permabanned several times over in LoL.

It might be happening but either people are going around it or BHVR is saying they're doing it but not actually doing it as the amount of cheaters doesn't seem to be going down at all. That's all anecdotal evidence though as we'd have no way to know what BHVR is actually doing about these things but just looking at the landscape of the game, BHVR is either not doing nearly enough to curtail the cheaters, what they're doing isn't working, or cheaters have found ways to go right around what BHVR is doing.
I've had a cursory look around the internet (literally...nothing I could link here without getting smacked by the mods though) and people definitely get banned in waves. The MAC ban thing is anecdotal, but does seem to be becoming the industry norm.
There is a reason for that - game hacking has become a big money industry, and incredibly sophisticated. Even top tier proprietary anti-cheats get bypassed pretty quickly, and the only games that have managed to stave off most of it are entirely server-side.

I wouldn’t say I use discordance regularly on most killers but sometimes I do and it’s usually a solid choice. I do like it on nemesis and plague for the reasons you mentioned and it’s certainly useful on the other killers you listed as well. I should also try it on Artist (and probably w/ severed hands?), that seems like it would be good.
Plaything has been one of my favorite perks pretty much ever since it came out. Plaything bubba is absolutely hilarious sometimes and I’ve had multiple survivors say they were terrified by it xD. Pentimento just gave me even more of a reason to run it. I don’t typically go for 5 stacks but it’s happened anyways a couple of times. I’ve been meaning to try that combo on Pig with face mask + rules set 2, so they can’t see the plaything totem aura and can’t remove their trap as easily to get rid of the blindness. But I haven’t gotten around to that yet.
It's incredible on Artist, as people probably won't realize you have it - meaning that you can easy do the triple bird spaced volley to bird both survivors and injure one. Combined with DMS, it's absolutely deadly.
Plaything is a really fun perk and I used to run it with Retribution on basically everyone before Artist arrived (PR changed my entire playstyle). Pentimento made it even better.
However, I'm also starting to run into survivor groups who just ignore Plaything completely, and just rely on voicecoms and sight.
Yes, Plaything is absolutely brilliant on 'side objective' killers, as you can often completely overwhelm survivors and get them running all over the map.
That build is...okay on Pig, but if you want to really make that concept work - try it on Demogorgon with Mew and Lighter. Survivors are almost permanently blind.

@Piruluk said:
Nurse should be a tier its own, nothing come close to her
Eh...
I'd say that Billy and Blight are on par with Nurse, with Huntress only slightly behind.
Nurse is actually very easy to understand. It's all mechanical skill and gamesense.
Billy and Blight have curves, which require an entirely new system of controlling your system and incredible knowledge of tiles.

I've said it before and I'll say it again and maybe even a third time if I'm feeling bored!
It would shock me if even 75% of the playerbase knew how to actually properly fill out the report system because this system is so damn archaic that multiplayer games in the 90s would scoff at how stupid and overly complicated it is. Out of the 25% that DO know how to report it, it takes so long that I would think at least half of them don't even bother. Then out of the ones that do report, there's so much to put in that it is real easy to just make a simple mistake and now your report does nothing because when you were typing in user name xXx6969420TeabagYurMomLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL6969xXxx you inadvertantly typed xXx6969420TeabagYurMomLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOL6969xXxx and now your report is thrown out the window.
Then when a miracle happens and someone DOES get banned, you go onto one of the many hacking sites, pay $5 for a fully loaded account, and hop right back in (though I've been told some have gotten so sophisticated that they can unban themselves, though I cannot confirm that myself).
It's pathetic
Yes, the report system is daft and outdated.
However, from a thread earlier this year, it looks like there's a MAC ban too - meaning that unless you are dedicated enough to spoof your MAC address (actually really tricky and unreliable), once you're banned, you're not going to be playing DbD on that PC again.

Yeah. I think I’ve done ruin/undying/retribution/discordance before and it was good. I don’t think I’ve done that since before she got buffed too so it’d be even better now (and that would’ve been with pre-buff retribution too).
You'll notice that most of my builds have Discordance now. I've really come back to this perk in a big way. It's just so reliable - basically a Lethal Pursuer that activates multiple times a game.
It also has some interesting interactions with certain killers:
- Myers and Ghostface can use it to locate stalk multiple people easily.
- Plague can infect fast.
- The loud noise notification works for Nemesis zombies (with DMS and zombie addons, this combo is disgusting).
- Onryo can use this with teleports.
Plaything+Penti is another I keep coming back to.

I've made at least 15-20 support tickets with proper proof of hacking. None of which are responded to. Now I'm running into the same hackers I've already reported. Some sort of response to let players know that something is being done would be appreciated. With no answer I'm done buying anything from this company as it is obvious by now that they dont care. Which will inevitably lead to me just not playing anymore. Which sucks but at this point its just the principle of it all.
Generally, companies ban in waves.
They essentially collect reports and compile a list, then suddenly a bunch of accounts get banned in one go.
This is generally done to catch more people, and delay development/refinement of a new obfuscation tool to block detection. The second they start banning people, the hack is marked as 'detected' and then modifed.
Yeah, it sucks to run into hackers. But - and this may help - it looks like BHVR are MAC banning people (if a thread a bit back was to be believed), meaning that once they get banned, they won't be back unless they buy a new PC.
Don't worry - they'll get theirs.

Aka "How much big brain and practise you need to have to do the maximum best with each killer".
Hmm.
Tier S - Yes, but I'd move Cenobite down to A, he sort of has an artificial 'power' cap no matter how skilled you are. At best, you'll be chaining people more and finding the cube more often, which is subject to RNG.
Tier A - I'd move Huntress and Artist up to S. Incredibly high skillcap killers. Artist in particular is, like Nurse, theoretically unstoppable with perfect play. Slinger goes down to 'B'. He's like a simplified, less effective Huntress.
Tier B - I'd move Demo and Hag up to A and Doctor down to C. Both Demo and Hag can do a lot of really crazy stuff if you understand them well. Doctor honestly depends more on latency than skill, barring standard M1 chasing ability. He's another 'comfortable' killer in terms of playstyle - very simple.
Tier C: Wraith goes up one. At high end play, there is actually a lot of complexity to him regarding his hitbox and precisely bodyblocking mid chase while decloaking.
Tier D: Ghostface definitely goes up to B. There is a lot of stuff to learn on him at the higher end, regarding the reveal mechanic and clever approaches/stalks.

Discordance seems decent for that build, yeah. I just use thrill there mainly because it stacks with thana and makes the totems take forever to do + discourages blessing the playthings, although plague kinda does that anyways since coh is mostly worthless against her. I’d imagine ruin would fit well here too but I haven’t tried it on this particular build.
Also yea tombstone has pretty much always been like that, which is a big part of why I almost never do it.
Ruin+Undying+Retribution+Thrill is a classic OG Plague build. I think that's the one Otz plays.
