His tier 3 isn't instant either anymore even when using tuft of hair. There's a small slow down which could be the difference between the survivor reaching safety or not.

This sounds like crying because you can't do it. I main michael and its way to easy to get 4k every match without camping, tunneling or slugging. Its freaking too easy that its boring. So if you can't win as killer, thats a you problem and is probably because you don't know how to use skill or strategy.
I'm a p100 Myers main myself and I'd say I 3k or 4k at least 75% of my matches. It depends on how efficient the survivors are on gens lmao. Every once and while I'll get the team that does all the gens in a blink but besides that it's usually a 3 or 4k

Thanks fellas it makes sense now lol

I'm really enjoying this build I've been using recently: plunderer instinct, Appraisal, Especialist and Moment of glory.
Thanks I've been giving this a try and it's pretty fun!! It provides teammates with help to because an item is there for them when they need it.

When did you guys start playing? Both Badham and Eyrie have already been nerfed. Both were shrunken in size and Eyrie was nerfed at least twice already with the god pallet removed in main, and the newer 50/50 tiles added.
If every map gets the Wrecker’s Yard treatment, playing Solo Que survivor at lower to mid levels will be brutal.
I agree and I'm a killer main. I play some survivor to. I think people need to just suck it up and deal with it at this point. Each side has maps that favor them. You can't make every map impossible to escape on.
-
Myers: Fire Up, Friends till the End, PWYF, Surge.
This build is absolute S tier + on Mikey, but make sure to get those PWYF stacks, Friends till the End makes it much easier to always have at least a stack in your pocket.
-
Dead Hard "for distance" was finally obliterated so I personally think it's the best update ever until the recent Myers changes.
-
I watch a steamer who uses Knock Out as an alternative way to victory. He refuses to hook survivors because it gives them access to perks after being hooked and doesn't generate enough pressure vs quick gen teams.
Not everyone who uses it is toxic. I rarely use it ever.
-
Because people stink, this translates into society as well.
-
The Myers changes are amazing. Many of games I'm out of tier 1 within seconds of the match starting now. Sounds like a lot of people can't adapt to his new playstyle.
-
Myers main and I absolutely love the Myers changes. These posts are such a bunch of BS.

I really am shocked that people see this as a Myers nerf, heck there was a discussion here on the forums earlier with tons of comments claiming he is worse off now. We must be playing different games
The amount of times ive stalked from tier 1 to 99ing tier 3 within seconds because I'm stalking from so far away and they don't see me is insane. People claiming this is a nerf don't know what they're talking about. Not to mention it so easy to get out of tier 1 now which was tons of people's complaints with him.
-
How is he "useless" on both outdoor and indoor maps lmao. Little exaggeration on your part no??? Lol

@Prometheus1092 said:
So far I'm not liking the rework, the stalk build up when survivors are close is so slow it's unreal and survivors know this so they get closer and hide behind a loop. Before if survivors tried looping Myers he could stalk them but now it's so slow it's a case of run around a loop by which time 2 gens pop, stalk them at the loop by which time about 2 gens pop or abandon them at the loop and find another survivor...at which they run to a loop.
Also, before it was open maps that were a nightmare for Myers and indoor maps went in his favour but the stalk being slow when close means he's useless indoors because he can't get the distance needed to build stalk so he's useless indoor and outdoor. I thought maybe Myers would be better in outdoor open map because he could get distance to stalk efficiently but the problem with having distance to stalk is that the further away the survivor is the more obstacles they have between themselves and Myers. This makes stalking incredibly difficult against players that can simply hear the breathing when Myers is stalking.
The other changes to Myers are fine but the stalk distance switch has pretty much killed him... Shame because I'm a p100 Myers main but looks like PH is going to be my main from now on.
I disagree. I've had multiple games now where I use Lethal on him and I have my tier 3 99d within seconds of the match starting because I stalked the survivors from a mile away without them even knowing. I'm having an absolute blast with this rework. I seriously think people have no clue how to use him at this point because this IS NOT A NERF!

I'm just happy Myers got a massive change, the guy really needed it and I am excited as a Myers Enjoyer to come back and see how both my beloved Stalky Boyes are doing now after all the hype from release and my holiday vacation have died down.
The change for Mikey is amazing. He's a threat on open out door maps now. You gain so much stalk from afar with survivors not even noticing. The top of main building in Eyrie of Crows is a stalk heaven for him lmao!!
-
@Devil_hit11 said:
Myers is not bad because he ran out of stalk. Myer's is bad because his evil within 3 is a joke power-up ability that can be looped by experienced survivors. Nothing in rework changes that.
Tombstone is significantly worse because the 0.4 stalking mechanic exaggerates myer's counter-play towards long-walls and breaking line of sight increasing the time sink to earn his mori.
The changes somehow managed to make Myer's an easier character to play by removing the need to juggle survivor's stalk. So what little skill-floor he had within juggling stalk within 4 survivor is made easier. Potato survivors will now get mori'd faster because they are unable to keep aware of their surrounding and counter-play Myer's ability by feeding him stalk while more experienced survivors are able to waste more of his time stalking. He is stronger vs weaker players and weaker vs better players. The complete opposite for what the killer should be striving for.
Yeah hard disagree sorry.

Being P100 has nothing to do with your level of skill on a specific killer. If you wanna flex just flex.
I'm not flexing I'm making a point that Myers is my main and I know how he plays. I think the opinion that he's "nerfed" is incredibly dumb.

The only thing I agree with in this discussion is the up close stalk multiplier could do with a buff. But even at where it is it's not that bad.
I have been playing him for hours and haven't struggled once to stalk.
I agree. This is most deffinitly a buff and not a nerf. Only thing needed is the up close stalk multiplier to be buffed from .4 to .6 imo.
-
Stalki boi doesn't think the change is a nerf.

@IndigoA said:
Coming from a Myers main, I wanted to express my sadness at the Myers nerf, and explain why it is a nerf. Myers is currently F tier.
Firstly and least importantly, tombstone is now not a viable option and is an extremely weak build. Perma tombstone is virtually impossible to use now due to needing a huge amount of stalk, which survivors will NOT let you get.
Due to Myers being easy to spot from afar, the nerf to Myers close stalk is absolutely devastating to gameplay and makes the fragrant tuft of hair unviable due to the 400% stalk required.The buff to afar stalk is useless, as Myers can be easily spotted from afar, unlike Ghostie.
Due to the close stalk nerf, Myers is completely useless on indoor maps, as well as the majority of other maps that have a lot of walls and blockages between gens.
Survivors know that Myers now needs stalk from afar, so they will just tightly loop and stay near walls so close stalk is forced.
These add ons were the only thing that made Myers remotely ‘strong’ and now his basekit has to be relied on, but overall, all things considered, this is most certainly a nerf.
I really hope the devs will pay attention to this and make changes to him, please, I beg you (or at least revert all of these changes).
No do not revert this changes!! Are you out of your mind??? What about his buffed tier 1??? All they need to do is make his up close stalk a little faster chill out!!!
-
This is definitely not a nerf you people are on some good drugs lmao. His tier 1 is massivly buffed and you can get out it way easier which was one of his main problems. And it's almost impossible for him to run out of stalk on survivors now.
-
@LordGlint said:
I'm curious if anyone will try playing tier 1 myers WITHOUT scratched mirror to take advantage of the buff to speed.
I might give it a try. It would have to be with a PWYF build which I already use on Myers a lot anyway. Moving around undetectable at 120%-125% speed sounds like it could actually be somewhat viable lol. Maybe throw a couple exposed perks on the build as well.
-
They did a good job though on fixing the busted windows in all the houses. That was super frustrating with m1 killers.
They deffinitly could have added a few more pallets along those barren parts of the map though for sure.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
TLDR.
I think the issue is killer speeds. If killer movement speed were more normalized, it would be easier to fix and balance gen speeds. Slow-moving killers waste a lot of time traveling from A to B and chasing survivors, unlike fast-moving killers. Because of this, slow-moving killers need longer gen times to compensate for all the wasted time. While, it can be hard for survivors to fix gens in time when they play against a fast-moving killer.
Would buffing m1 killers to 120% be broken? I think this is a fair valid question.
-
@jezebelthenun said:
Survivor should just lose the ability to move while we're at it. And they should just scream constantly with crows spawning immediately around their heads until the killer finally gets to them and does them the generous service of killing them, which should also be instant and require no work on the killers part at all.
Stop being dramatic. My goodness. Gen speeds are broken, play some killer for a change.
-
People consider everythin tunneling. So it's completely over blown. I think I've ACTUALLY been tunneled like once in the last 30 or so games. A Trickster and I abused him with the portals on the new map and everyone escaped lol.
-
I often feel bad for them and think their cute, lol I feel bad tunnelling them when they are very obviously new to the game.

@Nazzzak said:
"sometimes it’s bad for killer because you can get lost and stuck and have no idea where to go"
Except this is the same for survivors as well. We are all getting lost down there. No one knows the layout. Also I died in the basement down there because no one could get to me in time from the top floor. I also went to second hook in another game because, again, my team mates couldn't find their way to me fast enough. I've had another team mate go to second hook in a different game as well. So no, I don't think it's survivor sided at all. I think it's a difficult map for everyone to navigate.
I can confirm this. I've had 2 games where I was playing killer where survivors died on 2nd hook from the teammates not getting to them in time. As killer it's delightful though lol
-
Old thanatophobia should be base kit. The one that debuffed 5% for every survivor injured up to 20%. That perk did not need nerfing when they increased gens by 10 seconds. It was only a little pesky vs a Legion or Plague. Plus survivors should not repair at full speed when they are injured and gushing blood.

Killer powers has been coming incredibly cheesy recently and those that are still have level of back and forth is slowly getting updated to be more cheesy (Twins). Unsafe pallets too is increasingly getting more common.
Doesn't help that doodoo servers with killers swinging way too early and getting rewarded for it, Can't remember the last time I played a DBD match where connection felt good.
There's still tons of god pallets in the game.

The simple way to prevent someone spinning you is to not spin with them. Instead of trying yo keep up with their spin just step back. As soon as they start to spin stop, step back, and then when you know you can hit them then swing.
Yeah I've heard the whole stepping back thing and I've never really implemented it. Lack of discipline and patience on my part because I have this mental block that if I step back I'm gonna somehow lose distance on the survivor and fail.

It's the sensitivity I'd almost guarantee it, I don't see how console players can do it honestly I've played on both platforms and can safely say console feels like slow motion just due to the Cap on sensitivity as to where the m&k can always out spin you , when it comes to the killer role console is at a significant disadvantage I commend any killer that hangs in there on those platforms especially Nintendo switch because you know they go through hell against literally any other platform at like 25 fps
It's one thing if it's a slight inconvenience. It's a whole other thing if I literally lost the game because of it. Which has happened many times to me and I'm just totally sick and tired of it. I got 4 outed in that last game because of it when I could have at least gotten a 1k to a 3k if I was just able to land these hits.

Am I just having bad luck or does it feel like this somehow got scaled up lately?
I am constantly having situations happen that make me just want to instantly exit out of the match when I miss a hit I 1 thousand percent should've had.
Main offender. Injured survivor has literally nowhere to go. I round a corner and see they're 1 second from a pallet. Swing and for some reason I hit the FREAKING pallet instead of the survivor and then they drop it. COMPLETELY undoing everything that just happened which might as well mean I instantly lose the match.
I even feel like I saw this happen to a killer I went against recently. I dropped a pallet too late they swung BUT instead of hitting me they hit the pallet and I stunned them and they got pushed to my side. IDK if I have ever seen that happen before. Usually when that happens you get hit AND they get stunned and come over to your side of the pallet.
Yes and it always allows survivor to reach some super safe area like a god pallet and the chase is ruined and perhaps your whole game. Survivor should be on the floor instead you're starting all over again or watching them run into the distance. For a long time I didn't know aim dressing was in this game, I just thought I sucked at the game every time this happened, especially the mini lunge it forces you to do which makes you miss the survivor. This is a thing that can lose you games and it's enraging.

They didn't need four gen regression perks, most people just want the easiest possible match.
Nothing will change except more bad Killers will complain after having crutched on gen regression perks.
Some games are literally unplayable without some form of gen defense. Can we stop blanket calling killers "bad" who use it. That's a load of nonsense. Streamers with thousands of hours have killer games that last 4-5 minutes when they don't use slowdown, it's not because they are bad. Stop that. Its called wanting to actually play the game and have more then 2-3 chases before the game is over. You play against a 3-4 man who is efficient on gens it doesn't even matter how quick your chases are without slowdown.
-
It is a totally BS combo. If this combo had the same usage rate as old DH did I'd probably quit the game, no exaggeration. It's even worse when playing an M1 killer who takes 15-20 seconds just to catch up to them anyway after the pick up is done. Very unfair.
-
Does holding a tape make you immune? They've changed this killer so many times now that I guess I don't even know how she works anymore.

PS5 US eastern time. Games pretty much unplayable right now. It's constant rubber banding.

This honestly needs an emergency patch.

It must be afflicting PC players more because I am on PS5 and have not experienced any rubber banding. Its funny its usually the other way around when this stuff happens. Console usually gets it worse.
I'm on PS5 and have had rubber banding in every single game since the update. Sometimes it's only once and sometimes it's 5-10 times in one match. It really sucks.

Yes I played killer and used Myers and was in tier 1 the entire game because I had no clue how to play or use him. Lmao. I was just excited to stab people with Michael Myers in a video game.

The prospect of a bully squad is the real horror experience in this game.
-
Yeah the SBMM is horrible. I miss old ranks. Even though old ranks were broken at times to. I remember being a green rank killer and going up against 4 red rank survivors a few times and getting absolutely bullied to death when I was new at the game.

Can someone explain how the drones injure you and when they can't injure you??? Because I'm still lost on that.

Right, and as killer you lose 2-3 gens during your first chase. It's basically how this game is designed, the first chase dictates what happens 90% of the time assuming everyone plays well. If the killer gets a fast down, its gonna be an uphill battle. If they don't, they lose 3 gens in the first chase and its a tunnel/camp scramble fest.
Exactly this.

@OneGoodBoyDemo said:
This is funny, because in my killer games, 1 or 2 generators are finished before l down the first survivor.
Probably it's just a skill issue...
Well same here. That's the problem with this game. You switch back and forth and it's the unfun BS on both sides.
