I was told outside the forums that they were shutting down, so I really needed to come stop by for old times sake. It caught me off guard so much, because I used to be super active on here. And yeah, even though I don’t really play Spirit much anymore nor do I play much DBD these days, she still holds a special place in my heart.

i remember laughing at @Sluzzy posts even before i knew how to play the game (not that it changed much, but still xD)
i dont post much and as i dont really have much to add when i do its usually unserious stuff, but i really like reading the discussions. this has been my favorite corner of the internet since i got into dbd, and honestly im kinda sad that it will soon be gone.
I am gonna be real, I don’t really come on here anymore so I am very surprised someone remembered me. It means a lot <3

But shouldn't we all aim for being positive about improvements of the game itself (of course they first need to happen) instead of new content which - looking at the recent past - will also be released in some bad state?
I personally could wait another 3 or 4 months before ANYTHING new gets released when they freaking get a grip and REPAIR their game.
Hate to break to you, but I don’t think BHVR is trust worthy enough for that, at least based on the last 6 or so months. If we spend a few months hoping that they will be able to solve a lot of issues, then there will potentially be a lot of disappointments.
I’m hoping that BHVR does prove me wrong though, I just don’t see it happening. I haven’t really been playing DBD much anyway as of recent.

Not every killer needs to be universally liked. Artist has a niche audience that likes her and that’s completely fine. Don’t rework a killer just because of the majority that has little to no experience with her. It wouldn’t be fair necessarily.

A thread with a bait title and 3 shock images. Two were gore, one was icky. Nothing anyone hasn't seen if they've been online for a while, but still very unpleasant.
This is the third gore incident that I remember on the forums. Why people just can’t have an ounce of human decency is beyond me.

I think the devs have given up on twins tbh. Remember a few years ago when they said they were “monsters at high level”? They might be worried about the potential of even one bug fix putting them over the top especially with how disastrous that one PTB was.

This is fair. Personally, I like the voicelines but they’re not for everyone. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to give us the option to turn them off.

That’s not true in the slightest. Killers are now being rewarded for healthy gameplay, which is NOT tunneling one guy out early. Anything that punishes tunneling and incentivizes unique hooks is objectively a good feature.

Legion is fine in the main game mode, but he didn’t translate well into 2v8 very well. The devs didn’t think it through I don’t think. He’d probably need a complete power revision just in 2v8 for him to work but that’s probably unrealistic. We’re sadly stuck with him unless he’s removed from the mode.

No need to play if you aren’t having fun. Hope you can find a new game to enjoy. I personally still have fun playing DBD despite its problems, but I understand why others won’t have fun.

Fair. I love Artist but yeah she definitely isn’t for everyone. I’d like to see changes done to the anti loop portion of her power and make snipes more reliable. Sniping artist is very fun imo.

Spirit and Artist are my two favorites but I play other killers as well.
For spirit, she doesn’t need base changes imo, but I’d rework dried cherry blossom, juniper bonsai, and mother’s glasses.
For Artist, I’d nerf short range crows heavily and buff long range crows. Probably make it so they don’t do damage anymore from close range, or better yet, make doing that useless. That playstyle is boring, which I hardly ever do. I’d also rework charcoal stick, still life crow, and choclo corn.

I only got like 500 something on Thalita. Got her to P50 anyway. Traveling made it harder for me to play more.

You act like this hasn’t always been an issue. I’ve been playing the game since 2020 and rage quitting has been a serious problem since then. It doesn’t just go away sadly, there just needs to be better ways to punish rage quitting.

No matter what systems are in place, players will find a way to stop playing the game if they wanted to. I agree with Crowman here, if their best option for that is to eat a temp ban, then it’s a win in my book.

Here is my list. Unknown probably takes the number 1 overall spot for me. His whole kit is very interactive for both sides imo. Idk if that’s a popular opinion, but it is what I believe nonetheless.

Been playing since 2020, have played against every single killer. Probably every single perk as well but I haven’t kept track of that haha.

Definitely shouldn’t be intentional. Neither perk is good enough to have a downside like this.

I feel I change my primary survivor main a lot. Thalita has been my go to for a bit now. As for killer, don’t play it as much as I used to but singularity and unknown have been my favorites as of recent.

Legion is miserable AF to go against no matter what mode it is. Hit and run is the most boring playstyle and it’s what Legion specializes in. You may enjoy playing as Legion, and that’s fine, but also realize that a lot of players including myself find Legion one of the most boring and miserable killers to play against
I think miserable is a strong word tbh. When I think of a miserable killer, I think of a killer that doesn’t give me options when interacting against. At least with Legion, you get a normal chase unlike killers like Artist or knight that have boring anti loop powers to go against. The mending is mainly just obnoxious but not terrible imo. This is just for 1v4 btw.
As for 2v8, Legion definitely should’ve been handled better by the devs. Getting easy first hits as Legion complements way too well with other killers that can get fast downs.
