First the forums are getting shut down, now they're not even being archived? Disgraceful.

Hello Hi I sent you a dm but you have a private profile so idk if you can see it.
I saw it, don't worry! Thanks so much! 😊
-
I will miss this place too. It is okay to be sad.
-
No, because none of those platforms seem tailored to having actual serious discussions, which is why I joined this forum. That's not meant to sound pretentious, I just genuinely don't see how closing down their official forum and relying solely on third-party platforms is a good decision.
-
This decision seems completely backwards, and, quite frankly, stupid, but then again there have been a lot of those recently hasn't there?
It's hard not to be sentimental though. I've been on here at least since 2020 and in that time I've met so many amazing people, some of whom I still call my friends even to this day. Regardless of this game or company, I am very thankful for that.
Goodbye, everyone. I hope life treats you well and that smiles always find your faces. (:
-
Well they're in space so it makes sense!
-
Easily most exhaustion perks (excluding perks like Head On, Smash Hit, and Rapid Response). The problem isn't necessarily that their effects are too strong, the problem is that they're too strong for the complete lack of effort it takes to activate them.
Thrill of the Hunt also pisses me off. Completely removes the "risk" part from hex perks' "risk and reward" design.
-
Took them long enough.
And I laugh whenever I see people say things like "people are only complaining about exhaustion perks because of Vigil". Personally I've always championed for all these perks to get nerfed and I suspect many others here have as well.
-
I found the Urban Evasion user.
-
By design only certain parts of Plague's Purge can actually hit a survivor, which quite frankly, I think is incredibly stupid.
-
I don't remember the last time I dodged a lobby.
If I see someone with like 5 hours I'll make it my mission to protect them or give them hatch.
-
I think something a lot of people are overlooking here is that killer is just the more interesting role.
Like, once you've learned survivor that's that aside from occasional new perks, which killers also get. Survivors are technically just skins of each other with no changes to gameplay. Killers, though, have far more identity mostly due to them having their own individual powers that you can master.
There's also an event going on right now, which always tend to mess up the que times. Especially 2v8, since that's the only time killers can play with a teammate.

We can try nerfs with Oni but legion already received nerfs and it didn't work out cause his power design is incompatible with the mode
Legion is not incompatible with 2v8, they just didn't bother trying to make them more well received.
Especially because Oni was always the problem imo, people just didn't want to accept that and blamed Legion instead.
-
Definitely don't remove him, as the roster is already small enough, but I do think he needs some adjustments.
That should've been what happened to Legion too.

They should switch it to 100% avoiding the map instead so if I choose Eyrie of Crows offering for Trapper I know 100% I don't have to play on that map.
This 100%.
Map offerings would actually have a use and be healthier for the game.
-
She doesn't need a rework, just a buff. Please do not turn her drones into a dash attack or projectile.
-
Jason using his power to find you is not holding the game hostage lol.
Putting aside his strength, honestly I really don't care that he's good at patrolling gates in the 1v1. Plenty of killers are and at this point you've already failed both your main objective and to find the hatch.
-
I've been saying how poorly designed these maps are for years. As killer you either hard 3-gen right out the gate or you loose. There's basically no in between.
-
"Abusing", like they're using an exploit as opposed to playing the most recent character added to the game.
-
Double it and give it to the next person
-
I would play the crap out of this even with how unbalanced it would be just because I miss the old atmosphere 😅
-
Legion.
-
The literal point of the event is to randomize your perks, lol. If you don't like No Mither that's fine, but don't pretend like only survivors have crappy perks.
-
Thank you ❤️
-
Here we go…
-
Please do not rework one of the three trap killers in the game.
-
I love Chaos Shuffle on both sides.
It's so refreshing not having to deal with the same bland, over-powered meta perks in every single match. I wish they brought back this mode more instead of 2v8 every three months.
-
I'll never forgive the devs for robbing Claudette of her thong on that one community outfit.
-
Yes, it was too good of a perk, lmao. That's why it's finally being toned down a little.
-
I really think it's time for the devs to implement some kind of adaptive pallet density.
The fact that Blight and Hag both have to deal with the same amount of resources is baffling to me.
-
I too am glad to see this perk be brought in line. It makes defending hexes way too easy for a perk type that is supposed to be high risk high reward.
-
Eh, I like to imagine that I've been in this community and on this forum long enough to recognize that it tends to bounce around between clearly being survivor biased and killer biased. Just give it time and it'll pass eventually.
That being said, DbD being in a, quite frankly, terrible state right is probably not helping with people's temperaments.
-
Eh, I'd rather they be left alone than turned into more dash slop.
At this point I'm surprised they haven't given Hag "Swampy Strike" or some crap that lets her rush forward and crawl under pallets to injure survivors.
-
It really is just:
mobility + dash attack
or
mobility + ranged attack
-
SB has been outrunning nerfs alongside Blight for years, this has been a long time coming.
-
Oh my god, finally.
-
If you throw your Pebble at the killer they should get a concussion and need to sit the rest of the match out.
-
I love how Behavior is now just using Krasue's release to justify adding less content and fewer balance changes to the game, and no one seems to really care. Ridiculous.
At this point I think the only thing lazier than Behavior itself is DbD's player base. Literally any perk that doesn't grant an immediate game-winning effect gets written off as bad or useless. Like people across both roles are so scared of having to put in literally any effort to win, it's insane.
-
At this point I feel like anyone who hasn't accepted this is being willfully ignorant. These past years have been terrible for the game.
-
Horrible change that damaged build variety under the pretense of future balance changes that are going to take years to arrive, assuming they even do at all.
-
Behavior does not deserve your money.

This is one of the perks that needs to be removed killers need less hand holding perks.
I know this is bait, but man, complaining about Lethal Pursuer being overpowered when crap like Shoulder the Burden, Deli, and Sprint Burst exists is wild.
-
I don't know what modding the devs will allow, but I can guarantee that if people are able to create new killer powers and perks, said power and perks will be far more creative and balanced than their official counterparts.
Also I would not be surprised at all if the theory stated by OP was correct.
-
I guarantee this was done on purpose to sell more skins.
-
God, I would hope not.
-
I'm not necessarily opposed to this, but I don't think it's really needed either.
-
I think there are some good suggestions here, but your post comes across as extremely "us vs them hivemind" which isn't going to fix anything (and what's up with randomly talking about Bendy? I'm sorry if this upsets you, but that's only going to make most people think you're a child)
The real truth is that Dead by Daylight, and Behavior, does not care about any of it's players. Take the anniversary event for instance, as I see it as an almost perfect representation of the wider game as a whole. Survivors are given a plethora of overpowered abilities, killers are given an effective yet incredibility uninteresting and unfun ranged attack, it's riddled with bugs and glitches, and all the while in the background the devs are intentionally nerfing BP cakes to make the game more grindy for everyone - then lying about it then they get called out.
You want to see change? Want to see bugs actually get fixed, want killers to have fresh and interesting power designs, want the devs to improve the content that's already in the game instead of shoveling in shiny new licenses to distract everyone, want them to actually care about their product and it's community? Then stop playing the game. Stop giving them your money and your time, because that is the only thing that gets their attention.
-
I hate to seem like a downer, but man could I really not care any less about licenses right now. It just feels like the devs are constantly jingling keys in front of our faces.
-
We have to do the opposite - nerfing the strongest perks down to the level of most others. Perks should be fun bonuses or a rare powerful effect, not the deciding factor of who wins the match.

The existence of killer-anxiety is not the point of contention, its pretending that it's killer exclusive.
The fact that people think survivors have no reason to feel anxious is exactly why solo queue is so terrible, too many people play it to fool around instead of win, but that's a different topic for a different thread.Of course survivor players can suffer from anxiety as well, I don't think anyone is arguing that they don't (at least, that's not my position). What people are arguing is that the natural anxiety one can get from playing an online multiplayer video game is worse on the killer side for the reasons I initially listed.
