Dark Devotion sounds nutty in the right builds.
Going to have to see the purge power in action before judging it, though.
-
Hot take going off the above, Jane's perks are awful. The Locker one would have utility if it wasn't tied to Exhaustion and had its own cooldown instead, but it's outclassed by every existing Exhaustion perk.
The other ones are clearly 'meh'.
-
They've changed the name. It did used to say "Launch Trailer", but now it's just "Trailer".

Trailer looks great but dont get hype yet dont have disapointment.
Nah, I'm going to get hyped.
You're basically saying 'Don't have fun, you might not have fun later!" If it's bad, we'll be disappointed no matter how excited we were before. If it's not, the hype makes it even better. Don't rain on the parade.

I agree that a bad Huntress is the easiest the killer to loop, and the easier killer to run for 5 gens.
But you usually can't pull off such nonsense on a good Huntress who actually knows when to throw the hatchets.

2 PM EST, today.
Also, they've posted the times in multiple places and they've been doing it at the same time, if not the same day, for literally years. It's not they're fault at this point if someone doesn't know when and where.
-
Jane new main.
(Actually probably not, but I wanted to say it.)
-
It fits with the horror aspect. IDK if you've noticed but the male killers are all pretty messed up too.
I would think it'd be cool to have at least one female killer, maybe a siren or succubus or something along those lines, whose supposed to look beautiful, but otherwise scary and beautiful don't really mix.

Hmm, judging by the teasers so far, I'm going to have to guess with The Faithful, the chapter is called demise of the Faithful so I'm just going to go ahead and guess away with this. I doubt it would be something like The Priest or The monk but you never know. Final answer is The Faithful. Btw I love this little competition thread you start. It's pretty D A R N cool
Thanks! I like to think of it as a lighthearted way to pass the time while waiting for the next chapter.
As of this morning, we have our killer name: "The Plague"
I like it! I was thinking something like the "The Light", but I had noticed all the disease on her skin and thought she was some kind of healer/disease-related, so "The Purifier" or something along those lines.
Short competition this time around. Should have started the thread earlier. :P

It's hard to say. They've never done a Monday stream before.
We still don't have the usual 30 second trailer, but given that we have an hour long stream I'd be really surprised if there wasn't a more in-depth reveal. We just have to wait and see!
Edit: Never behind. I just woke up and I'm behind. I hadn't even seen the trailer was out.

Quentin truly is the black sheep of the bunch. Not that Tapp or Kate are that much better; but they are better. And Ace's perks are at least useful for fun builds.
-
I love how the store art is clearly more Mathieu than Dwight.
-
I agree, OP.
Though I seem to be in the small minority of people who don't hate facing Legion, so whatever that's worth. -
Two and a half years, since what (I think) was the first free weekend. Right when the Nurse was released.
-
Ace lost and was banished to the Shadow Entity's Realm.
-
Looks like some kind of seal or talisman to me. Interesting teasers as always!
-
I'm guessing they're doing some of the new matchmaking testing they were talking about recently.
And if they are, clearly it's not going so well. -

It will be way too late, 5 march just for the ptb?then the dlc will come on 20 march, which has never happened before to be that late
There'd probably be a shorter PTB, but there have been longer gaps between killers. A 12th or 19th of March release would either be right on schedule or still in time for a 'Winter' release.

Meg.
Dwight's a wannabe leader and both in-game and out is lovable, but also a joke. Meg's the real fighter of the group.
-
Captain is right, every survivor has the same hitbox. The male characters only look bigger.
For some reason I never have this problem playing as Dwight, but all the other male characters do feel very awkward to move with.

Against me it'll be a wasted Perk.Wasted against a smart killer.
And in the hands of any actually competent survivor it's a waste too.If some of you people actually think it's a buff, phew, then let's just not go through with it at all.
-
Weird. Megs are usually the ones that run straight into Hag traps. And bear traps...
I actually did exactly that a few days ago. Sprinted right up the hook and had to run off because the Hag popped up. I didn't know we were facing a Hag...

-
Is someone going to make this thread every week now?
It has a long way to go before it reaches the repetitiveness of all the NOED/DS/Legion/Nea threads that pop up again and again, but it's starting to get there. -

This mask in my opinion makes her look really good. It's no coincidence that Nea's best cosmetic is the one that covers her face.

I think I pretty much agree with the OP. Keys are hardly unbalanced and I'm not really upset about it, but it is a bit silly how many of them I seem to be finding lately. It used to be the highlight of a match if I pulled a key (with Plunderer's) but nowadays there a little too common. A few days ago, I found two keys in one game. At best I think it should be 1 every two or three games, with Plunderer's.

I have my own idea. Group all of the maps that are the same location (All the farm maps for example) and if the game chooses Coldwind Farm, it would then randomly choose one of the farm maps. Therefor decreasing the chances of getting coldwind three times in a row since the game sees it as one map until it chooses it, then chooses one of the variations after. Kinda like MKX where you turn on randomize character, the game chooses the character, THEN it chooses one of the variations. This is exactly how it used to work. They changed it because it led to the opposite problem; you saw the newer maps way out of proportion with the others.
To the main topic, even if they're in the same realm, each of the maps are laid out differently. The gameplay changes between maps in the same realm and maps in different realms is comparable. Beyond aesthetics there's not much of a reason to prefer different realms over different maps.
-
At least it's pretty.

Her original scream was awful and scratchy not "gory and piercing", not to mention how it didn't match up with her character at all. They can easily do better for whatever new character they introduce. How did it not match her character at all?
She's a singer and yet her voice was hoarse and scratchy.

1. Blowing up a gen at the beginning of the match and continuing to work on that same gen. Newsflash, Nea: the killer is DEFINITELY coming. This isn't always true. If the killer is chasing someone else they won't bother to come over to your gen. It's actually more important you keep working on the gen and just run when you see/hear the killer, otherwise you waste time hiding pointlessly.
I agree, running before the killer is in sight/terror radius is silly. A good player should stay on the gen.
-
And how did you "outskill" the survivor you didn't catch?
-
They are the worst.
Speaking of Bond, they're the reason I don't run that perk. If they are crouching behind a wall being "stealthy" when the killer is clearly busy, at least I don't have to know about it. Out of sight, out of mind. -
I like running PI as Dwight and then refusing to do anything helpful until I've raided all the chests. Usually with AITH, but not during the events because of all the fire crackers.
Whenever I wear my Legacy outfits, I secretly love it when someone accuses me of hacking and threaten that they're going to me banned for it.
-

Depends on which map you're on.
-
Now this is an idea I can get behind.
-
IDK where you hanging out in 2016, but imo the community was far more toxic in the beginning. Ironically, some of the most toxic people even back then were the ones wishfully declaring the game was gonna die any day now.
Hope they weren't holding their breath... -
Odd, I see Tapp pretty often. Quentin is the rarest for me. Although I see so little of Jeff, I may just not even be noticing he's never there.
-
Caves. It's a shame we have a realm set in a mine that has 5 different maps and yet none of them are underground.

So, now that Surveillance is actually good, what Killer perk will we all ######### on? Monstrous Shrine? We'll always have Monstrous Shrine.
-
It should be an interesting change. In a given game, most of the time you'll probably be doing more healing than self-healing.
-
What would be the point?
Let's say there were two separate modes. Everyone would still play exactly the same way: there's still only one objective no matter which side you're on. To play against different people? The point of the ranking is so that people with less skill don't have to put up with being steamrolled and abused by people with more experience. If you try to fix that by still matching people based on rank in either queue, well, then there's not really any difference between the two modes at all. -

The meme originated from Nea being ugly. That's it.There was actually a little more to it than that.
Back in the day, before the bloodweb changes, Nea was the one character who almost nobody ever played.
Honestly, half the joke in the original Sam video and something that's kinda got lost to time is it's not just that the Dwights think she's the killer, it's that they don't even know who she is because they've never seen her before. The meme existed a while before that Samination video.
Yep. It was just referencing a long-running joke.
-
Alien seems like the last classic horror franchise they haven't tapped (besides F13, yeah we all know about that). It would be a perfect addition.
-
Whoa, less Meg cosmetics?!? Are you crazy?
-
I agree. Since the nerf it's not even worth VR status, let alone UR. Green rarity probably is the best place for it now.

Gotta be honest: Eh.
Game has lasted 2 yrs without them. And the end of the day, this will resolve a few annoying issues but not do much else.
