I have never experienced or noticed any bugs while using Blood Warden, Stridor or Third Seal.
-
The endgame scenario they mentioned was a proposed change. Despite that I find it really balanced (with a longer timer), the final product can be completely different, the same or with minor adjustments. Its all guessing until they reveal it.
-
Dear Vietfox...
No. -
Give Quentin-kun his swimsuit!
-
I know its not the main point of the thread, but with Deliverance around, I feel respecting the 4%ers has lost its purpose. Not that I ever followed this "rule", in the first place.
-
What about Doctor taking him a decade to just close his fist? But he is older to be fair, and really disfigured. :P
-
Been playing Clown lately, and I really enjoy extending the duration of the tonic effects with the Ether add-ons. Still, Combat Straps (Pig) and Iridescent King (Doctor) are also satisfying.
-
I cant decide. I love the threatening crescendo of Closing In and No Place to Hide.
I have only one complain about the Michael one though. I find the high beeps a little obnoxious, but I like them when they are combined in the "he is touching your butt" part.
-
Didnt they remove that in the last hotfix?MhhBurgers said:Once survivors catch on about her glimmering when she uses her power she will be #########.
Or was it something they intended to change? -
I would say thats fine. Because that means you will have two, or more, people not working on objectives rather than just one.DarkWo1f997 said:
No it has a huge impact on the match, but the way they are changing it would just mean flashlight jockeys are going to be meta. They’ll most likely get the save anyways.The_Manlet said:@DarkWo1f997 said:
It doesn’t matter to me what they do. It’s not going to change very much anyways.Decisive Strike is a game changer. Everyone gets to escape once per match for free, meaning you essentially need to get a minimum of 4 hooks per player.

Whenever Eveline posts about Killer entitlement.

During the PTB it only happened if you were carrying a Survivor while hitting something.

Solid midtier, at least. Better than Freddy, Wraith, Leatherface and Pig.

What about an actually good mori? :PTzeentchling9 said:Still have yet to see a Spirit do something that a Wraith couldn't do as well, if not better. -
Nay. Even though I am not a frequent user of the perks you mentioned, aura reading is a very good tool and doesnt deserve half the complaints it gets.
-
Endgame os something they are currently working on.
-
If 110% movement speed is too low and 115% is too much, how about... 112.5% speed?
-
Whats with everyone and their obsession (pun not intended) with token-based perks? :P
-
When they reworked the perk, if I remember correctly, they did state the purpose of this perk was not to prevent the Generator from going off, but simply surprise the Survivor (whether they completed the Generator or not, more often the former).
-
Since everyone already answered the other stuff, I will leave that aside.

4] High and low mist?
Also, what happens if everyone offers thicken mist offerings? The mist can only be increased up to a certain cap (same deal with the reduced mist ones). Depending on the quality of the offering, some offerings used will be a waste because you would be trying to go beyond that cap. If you use a Murky one, you will be at the cap already, so using any other will be a waste (unless its a reduced mist one, in which case it partially counters the effect of the Murky Reagent). Using the lesser thickening reagents together (two different players, obviously) will work together towards getting more mist, but never surpassing the cap.
-
Wait, Lowbei is back from the dead?
-
Those are 5 seconds I am never getting back. :<
-
I would say, from hardest to easiest, this is the order:
1. Wraith
2. Pig
3. Trapper
4. Myers
5. Freddy
6. Doctor
7. Hag
8. Leatherface
9. Spirit
10. Clown
11. Hillbilly
12. NurseThe last two, they are not there because their perks are amazing, but because their power is already that good. That said, you would need a bit of practice for Nurse and its learning curve, yada yada. Because of that she might be higher in the list in your case.
Hag might be easier than where I placed her, honestly. She has Ruin and she is a strong killer after her buffs, but you will be running perkless in the most realistic scenario. Same deal with Nurse however, you need to practice a bit with her.
Doctor can make use of M&A if you combine it with the Calm add-ons and have a Lery's offering. You could make an ambush type Doctor. But, this is just a possibility other than playing him normally.
Freddy has a strong endgame with his perks, but without NOED, a little bit less effective. But Freddy's case, I would say he is decent in the mid ranks, so you might have little problems for that one.
Spirit is probably a good one to pick now, as Survivors are still getting used to her. Without Hex perks which directly affect Survivors though, they may never get to trigger Haunted Grounds. That said, I have heard her achievement is bugged or something. You will be fine as long as you stay away from the high ranks. :P Good luck!
Edit:
Actually, Trapper might be easier if you bring good add-ons. Especially against non-high rank Survivors. -
But what if I want to check out myself? Why cant Object of Obsession be activated with it?
-
2 bucks here. 3 anyone? This lovely discussion for 3 bucks. Going once, going twice...
(I had to.) -
How come less than half is considered acceptable? Acceptable would be one half plus one (60%). Hatch should only open after 3 generators repaired (2 left). I guess if the case of 3 Survivors it should remain the same.
-
I can tell you my least favourite one; Dragonite. The laziest dragon design ever.
-
Any map in Coldwind Farm (except maybe Thompson House), just because they are the most common ones.
-
Did Devs state "Yes, we did this intentionally"? Otherwise, this could be just a glitch that came with the patch. There has been so many, I wouldnt be surprised.

Hag got buffed made her a stronger camper [...]
Hag was a stronger camper before her buffs and her camping ability is just as strong as it was before.
Wrong.
If you are camping with the Hag, then you aren't playing her right in anyway.
Make Your Choice is incredibly strong on her. Hag is a anti camping killer. Maybe patrol camp at best. She isn't this camping type in any way.
I would think that a camping hag would struggle against a smart team.
Not sure what you are trying to say, unless you quoted the wrong person.
I said the rework she got did not make her a better camper, they made her an overall better killer. Her camper potential is just as good as it was before. The changes did not affect her ability to camp, which is the contrary to what fcc was using as a point. -

Not sure if the "censored" was intended or added by a mod. Either way, I love that post.

The deal with Dwights is that:
1) He is the default Survivor. Meaning new players are more likely to pick him. Therefore they tend to hide in lockers because a first impression is that such strategy is safe.
2) He is a meme because of the previous reason. Toxic players would play him because of that. And always with the bald head.
As for other characters, for me:
- Jake, Tapp and Ace are too rare for me to give them a category.
- Claudette and Meg are the tryhards/meta perk users. They are the kind of players you suspect have DS even though there is no obsession.
- Nea is the trolly one, but not in a toxic way.
- Lauries are just newish players trying to get her Adept achievement.
- David is the failed toxic player and failed altruism.
- Feng means rubberbanding.
- Quentin means no awareness around him (even though he is my main and its not my playstyle)
- Kate is the decent player with no notable traits. -

cooldown is fine, just dont use her full duration at once.and what if im in a chase. cooldown is not fine at all. so im not supposed to use it then? she is addon dependent she will only be a noob stomper.
you just need time to learn her playstyle, plus i just 4k'd with her at rank 3 so clearly she isnt a noob stomper
rank means nothing if the survivors are competent they must of been noobs if you managed to wreck them. let me guess you was using addons. without she is useless her power but thats my opinion
i had no addons actually
well. they was a bunch of noobs then. rank means nothing.
4man p3 claudettes with DS SC BT and SB and 2 BNP and 2 insta medkits but they were noobs?

It wouldn't work, you would be wasting the offering. White Wards protect the item you brought into the match, not the one gained during it.
Plus, I believe the check for these "escape under x conditions" is while you escape. So, if you dont escape, you wont trigger the achievement. -
Eh, Adept Hag has it harder.

For ps4, the dlc does not come tomorrow.there is nothing in the blog.
Not every DLC is in the blog.
If it's supposed to be a surprise they won't let Sony put it on there.
I wasn't aware of this. That's really bad news for us PS4 players, the clown didn't appear in their blog until he was actually coming out if I remember correctly.
Hardly anything comes out unannounced, I doubt this will either. Does that mean another week of watching everyone else play before we can? Blegh. I've done so much grinding for release I think I've burned myself out. I guess I'll play more Persona or Fallout this week. Maybe we'll get lucky and get the update so at least we can get the Spirit with shards?
RIP my hopes.

Sure, remove the one tiny limitation Sprint Burst has, unlike other Exhaustion perks. What would be the point of choosing Dead Hard if SB could be toggled at will (even mid chase) with more lasting effects?Yzalirk said:
How would it break the game? It would add a choice that can either pay off nicely or fail miserably.jakeb_1993 said:I wouldn't say that would be worth it. The idea I'd being able to stun a killer wherever they are would break the game.
I would say having a bigger speed boost to cover more ground, something perhaps similar but just short of a sprint burst might be a better way to go. Right now Dead hard only buys you a best an extra 3-4 seconds
That sounds like an interesting idea but why not just make Sprint Burst a toggle like Dead Hard?
And, no, DH stunning the killer not only makes little sense, it would also be too powerful. There has to be a balance for everything. At least DS has a condition. This change would make it an on demand stun. -
I believe Willcenx meant in general, not just the Spirit.Grey87 said:I heard that seeing their blood was not supposed to be a thing and is gonna be gone with dlc release.

No, Rancor tells you where everyone was. Bitter Murmur tells you where those who completed the generator are and are heading to. If anything, Rancor is a lesser version of Bitter Murmur.Hellbilly said:Go with both. Use Rancor as your tracking perk. It's better than Bitter Murmur because it tells you where EVERYONE is. And it's easily better than BBQ if you're not using Billy/Nurse.

Can I say the Winter one was really meh?
-
The only toxic cosmetic is the chemical hazard waste bag outfit.
-
If it doesn't trigger, then it means you lengthened the match, giving you more time to chase Survivors.Orion said:@Mister_Holdout said:
I would think NOED is much stronger. You can put in a lot of damage with NOED.
NOED can also be disabled before it triggers.
And Rancor only shows you the Obsession's location for 3 seconds. Knowing the killer has that perk, you could juke the killer out until the time the exit gates/hatch opens. -
I posted this a few weeks ago, analysing his story. He certainly did nothing wrong, but his story represents how no matter how hard you work, the Entity will always win. Either that, or that each trial can be taken as a small obstacle and you must always try your best to escape.
