Massive corn blindness incoming.
-
It will be implemented on the same update the DS nerf comes through.
-
There was this one game as Survivor a while ago. It was a Leatherface in Haddonfield, he had Whispers. Basically, it was him and I in one of the houses (the one with the single Gen on the first floor).
I was hiding in the kitchen area and quickly hid on the porch outside. LF came and went through the door right next to me. I had to hide back inside the kitchen in case he came back, and I was right. He went through the door next to me again. I had to change sides again while he was crossing the door, right behind him.
This situation repeated another 4 times. It was one if the best stealth tricks I managed without any stealth perks. -
After reading the notes from the event, I kind of feel whoever is the writer will become the new killer. Maybe a person with an overgrown arm, or missing one of them.
-
Then you will be sacrificed, and I will laugh. (Non-sarcasm)KillJiggy said:And yeah because I know what map the game is going to choose, and what killer i will be playing against so ill run those perks for those instances (sarcasm)
-
Then shall we talk about Balanced Landing in The Game? Claudette in dark maps? Stealth killers in Lery's? Trapper in Macmillan Estate?KillJiggy said:@PigNRun said:
You can still hear her interactions with the environment, like corn and grass.Again refer to my comment about buildings, and the game map. And also about totally hearing the slight movement of grass when I am working on a generator
Maps will always favour a certain gameplay. Thats how it is and wont change. -
You can still hear her interactions with the environment, like corn and grass.

Spine Chill, Object of Obsession, actually listening, actually paying attention to the environment. It is indeed a powerful add-on, but dont spread your lies.KillJiggy said:@Radiant said:
Hi killer mains, I welcome you all to another topic you're trying to hide under tons of useless answers.Kisses.
Im a killer main, and a fan of the spirit, and I actually agree with you on this one
That addon is extremely strong for a purple and there is not any real counterplay. -
You mean this one.Tsulan said:

Can someone insert the "killer main" meme, please?Killer lobbies are only high, because survivors HAD to play killer. 4 times more killers = long queues.
That's it. Nothing else. Survivor hasn't become suddenly unfun or unplayable.
The healing nerf only increased teamwork.
Now, after defending SWF for ages, teamwork is suddenly a bad thing?
Like, really?Survivor is still to easy, still to quick to complete the objective, SWF still OP, the majority of the killers are still not viable on high ranks, etc.
But survivor mains think that the increased lobby queues for killers mean that every survivor left the game. Which is simply nonsense.
It’s a bit dusty, but here

Whoops. Sorry I’m trying a new build

But ok.

Survivors:
- Self-Care
- Dead Hard
Sprint Burst
...Pharmacy (even though I use it)
- Wake Up (same)
- Sole Survivor
These were just the first ones that came to mind. There are several others that could qualify, like Open-Handed, Kindred, Small Game, Premonition, Prove Thyself, Left Behind, Stake Out, Detective's Hunch, etc.
Killers:
- Ruin (though I dont see it that often anymore)
- BBQ
Something
...Beast of Prey
- Spies from the Shadows
- Fire Up
-
UE being a counter for Hag is 50-50. Less popped traps outside chases means they are more likely to pop them mid-chase afterwards. And, even then, a full UE Survivor will still only move around the map at walking speed. That is a bit of a time waster compared to running when you know the Killer isnt around you.

I can't hear anything in this game. Stridor or not.
I can tell when a gen is being worked on or a chest being searched but that is about it.I'll be watching a streamer like Tru3 or Panda and they'll say I heard them breathing/moving. It genuinely has me concerned about my hearing.
Well, regarding streamers, dont sweat on it. They usually have their obnoxious voices all the way up to 95% volume and game down to 10%. Streamer mentality.
-
I kind of loled at the Divided, because Rin and all that. Excellent work, by the way.
-
I feel Myers is just overrated because he is difficult to place on a list as he is the most diverse killer due to his add-ons.
-
Honestly, he still ranks higher than Huntress on my book.

Gladly. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)PhantomMask20763 said:Aari_Piggy66 said:

Kate, because jiggly.

They already said they are interested on the idea of alternative/secondary objectives. The event wont stay, but we will eventually get something like that.
-
I mean, its a pretty generic pumpkin as well. :P
-
Well, and about the new question, yes. These cosmetics will be around 24/7 but you will not be able to collect nectar once the event ends.
-
Killers fill their vials the same waybas previous events. Survivors however, have to harvest nodes (action is similar to a generator, multiple people can work on them, but once the bar is complete, you cant juice it anymore). These bushes look like glowing thorny bushes, half the size of a generator.
The more nectar you extract from them, the more your vial fills up. Escaping means you can turn what you have on your vial into the token you need to get the cosmetics. If you die, you lose a certain amount of nectar from your vial. For each third part of your vial, you gain a safe spot. If you die, your nectar wont deplete below that point. For instance, if you have a full vial, you wont lose any nectar. -
I believe its because they ran out of things to complain about in latest mid-chapter patch, so they are getting off.
-
I cant call this entitlement (because it isnt) but this whine is a bit stupid. You can dislike it, sure, but come on.
Its a grindable outfit, being hard or whatever. If you dont have time or just dont feel like doing it, then you can purchase it. If it was strictly cash only, then there could be a valid complain... even though cosmetics do not realistically change gameplay, they dont give an advantage, so it would still be fair. Sincerely, I see literally nothing greedy, illogical or nyerk-move here.
They are really cool looking costumes, as said on the stream, the best ones so far. There are far more relevant things to complain about when it comes to cash, such as The Spirit's release and her weaknesses at first (not saying she is still like that). -
So, you were politely refuted each time with valid points in a public board. -Sarcastic "Oh no!"-Wahara said:I feel like people have begun to stop seriously engaging with me. The goal posts have been moved all over the damn place. First, I went up against the idea that the request for LGBTQ characters implies an irrational fixation with gender or unnecessary identity politics. Then, I go up against the idea that it "doesn't matter" Then, I go up against the notion a character's identity cannot inform their lore. Now, the argument is but it's too likely to end up portrayed in a damaging manner so we shouldn't try.
Nah. I ain't play'n this game of whack-a-mole. You dears have fun.

Aura perks show the husk's aura while phasing.F5arTheB5ard said:As the spirit, if I kick a gen then immediately go into phase walk will survivors see me in phase walk? I'd like to hope not -
I would rather know their blood types first, honestly.
-
Overrated:
- Calm Spirit. Might counter Doctor, but thats it. Clown? Irrelevant against him.
- Nurse's Calling. Plenty already said.
Underrated:
- Wake Up: Not the most helpful one, but it excels on no-SWF set-ups. And it speeds up one of the most decisive moments of the game (to my eyes, at least).
- Deerstalker: Might be difficult to say this one is underrated, because it used to be meta and hasnt changed at all. People say its outclassed by BBQ, but I honestly feel with so many conditions on it, Deerstalker is way better at tracking dying Survivors. -
But Enduring already counters DS! And dribbling!
No need to nerf it! -

2. How in God's name....Uh uh uh. Its "Entity's name".

There is also the fact that bald Dwights stand out a lot in dark areas... Like Legacy or the 80's cosmetics.
-
What if Spies from the Shadows worked like if a Survivor is within x metres away from a crow, they wont fly away. Instead they will caw non-stop until the Survivor leaves that x metre area? Like Whispers but on selected areas instead of around the killer.

Uh, dont you mean LGBTRPXDÑÜなぬ£:)@99Ω? Jeez, so insensitive.

Out on a limb; if they said "if everything goes to plan", I would assume that would mean that something is TBC, which would suggest to me, that this means licensed..?Just how I would interpret it!
Can you remind me what tbc stands for?
Im still guessing original killer. -
Quote: "My precious!"
And whoever is under the effect of this perk gets the bald Dwight cosmetic applied to their character (unless its a bald Dwight, in which case... IDK... grows hair). -
- Regarding the Nurse, is there any lore related reason for her appearance (namely the sack on her head/hidden face)? Is that part of the torture performed by the Entity to make her kill or not?
- Same for Doctor. His current state, full of cables, pried open mouth and eyes. Entity's work or part of his pwn doing? -
Its mostly muscle memory and getting the timing right, as far as I know (I dont play her). This is why Nurse players tend to say stuff like "add-ons cripple her", because they affect the time required to hold and let to. She is hard to pick up, but not because she is difficult, but rather because she needs practice.

The Fog Whisperer feature is in its baby stages right now. So far, there are only 10 people accepted, but more spots will be available when it gets out of "pilot" mode.
-
I would place Myers along with Miss Piggy, and maybe Huntress a bit lower than Spirit. But that is just preference.
-
Too thicc?
-
Honestly, I feel this is just a placebo change for Survivors. It wont change anything, and its just saying "Look! We did something about camping!".
-
I was actually criticising the recent "3rd Survivor DCing to let the 4th one escape" thread, but that also works.@twistedmonkey said:This is why the hatch closing was a bad idea and they are reworking it, it seems what works for the side someone plays is ok but if the other side wants something its not, that's the DBD player mentality and isn't balance, the main reason they are changing the hatch is the time it takes with the standoff, if they are trying to fix one waste of time why introduced another?
-
It isnt a noob perk, it isnt a crutch perk, its isnt a killer's DS. Its a powerful and very balanced perk. If Survivors cleanse all totems, you extend the game. If Survivors fail to do so or ignore totems completely, they suffer the consequences.
People complain about it because "it rewards failure", despite there being several perks that revolve around endgame and you (realistically) running with 3 perks only through the important part of the match. -
Its funny though...
- Killers ask the situation with the hatch to be fixed.
- "Just accept your 3 killls and move on to the next game"
- Survivors ask for the last Survivor to be able to struggle.
-"Accept the match is over and move on".
- "Meh meh meg, illogical argument, mih mih mih, cant refute me, moo moo moo, fallacy." -
Hug is OP because friendship is magical.
-
I like how the dirty ghost has the Hag face.

Because a killer can totally tell the difference between a Survivor having wiggled to 99% and 100%.kazzymoyashi said:I disagree completely. I'm a killer main and so many times, I shouldn't have been able to hook someone because they should have wiggled off yet I was able to get into the animation. We can have the hooks be multidirectional to hook up a survivor but I also feel the killer should HAVE to be right in front of the hook, not 3 metres away for the prompt. It's ridiculous from both sides of the coin.
