Having used the “new” Tinkerer a while now on various killers, I feel that 85% is jus too late.  Even using killers such as the Nurse, Hillbilly, or Spirit, If you are not in the immediate area there isn’t any chance to get to the generator.

Perhaps change the % complete to 85/75/65 at levels 1/2/3.

    When they reworked the perk, if I remember correctly, they did state the purpose of this perk was not to prevent the Generator from going off, but simply surprise the Survivor (whether they completed the Generator or not, more often the former).
