I think the word "stronger abilities" can be discussed after the last patch....

    Nurse literally ignores game mechanics.

The Nurse's power allows her to bypass terrain, just like every other Killer power allows them to do something the others can't (invisibility for the Wraith, no terror radius for the Pig, etc.). She can still be stunned, blinded, juked, and so on.

You misses the point. I’m saying nurse is really strong, he’s saying that their speed isn’t because of good abilities, and that their abilities are bad. (Spirit is who he’s mainly referring to.)

I am refering to spirit and huntress yeah

Yeah she definitely needs some love. IDK why the devs ignored our PTB feedback to buff her. Instead they nerfed her. We also wanted pebble tokens, they ignored that as well. Why do we even have a PTB if they don't listen to the community?

I just got completley demolished by a SWF and left the game with 8k points.

I am done with spirit now tbh, gonna wait for her next patch....

How do you guys feel about this? I've seen games where someone decided to let someone die on hook because it was just a camping pig crouched right next to him on the hook, plus they knew where the hatch was and it was just them and this guy hooked left. I usually kill myself if a killer camps so it doesn't screw my team over and so they can escape, if in this situation. Is this being bad mannered to where people could get banned or is it just going with how the killer is playing and a valuable strategy to do? Imo its totally ok to let a team mate die if being camped for the sake of other team mates making it out alive.

Killing yourself on hook actually screws over your team, just fyi.

And no, you will never get banned for camping / Not saving lol

  • Hitting looks really weird because the hitbox of a 360ing survivor basically teleports around.
The killer can turn his camera as fast as we wants and that results in some weird looking hits sometimes, but thats the nature of a unrealistic game like DBD. I wish we could get rid of 360ing and get proper hitboxes, but I guess thats never happening

Corn grass and all taht stuff is on PC too, I dont see aproblem with that:

Yes framerates are worse on a lower-performance machine

Rank up a bit and the queue will become better, at least on PC rank 7 I find lobbies in no time

  • Not even an insult,or is git gud scrub now toxic too?

I'm just gonna say what I think quickly and let you all express your opinions here.
I don't see why killers are getting more bloodpoints on avarage than survivors, the bloodpoints should be splitted according to time and not to role, wether if you are a killer or a survivor, you're a human being behind a computer playing the same game, and it doesn't make sense to me that one player will make 23k bloodpoints and it would still count as a bad score(killer) and others would often finish a game with less than 10k points cause they got tunnled and proxy camped all game and had nothing to do about it... Point is.. The average bloodpoints per game should be around even for both killer and survivors, there is no reason for the killer to get more.. And I play mainly killer..
Another problem is how the campers and tunnlers get rewarded, the game is getting so frustrating to play at higher levels since basically 99 out of 100 killers got there by camping and assuring kills unfairly. And it rewards them with free pips.. Please help devs. listen out here.

Camping will result in low BP and low emblem poits.
Tunneling is just using your brain and common sense.

If you consider being killed unfair, then DBD might be the wrong game for you

People do this already, in case you didnt know.
Even the most popular survivor streamers do this regularly, then "bully" the "baby killer" and laugh at it

I just saw 2 streamers yesterday do that, constantly dc so they don't have to play "stressful games"

Jendenise just explained to me on stream that she DCs shortly before the game ends in order to derank.

I think, if you play her right with some of her perks, she currently already is a viable killer. She just requires practicing in mindgaming.

I dont think so, especially when it comes to coordination via voice comms

But there is no other killer but nurse who can go up against organized SWF on comms. Let's just take a solo survivor queueing theme that gets in the game and does not know who the killer is yet. Then you would have a good chance of getting a 4k with the Spirit.

Idk bout 4k if they aren't in comms. Hatch is quite regular.

But there will be a new solution for the hatch, so a survivor has to do more for their escape and a 4k could be gained with the Spirit.

While there’s been a need for a hatch solution for a long, long... long time now, I think @JoannaVO is right. I just got the new killer last night and my initial thought, “She is terrible”, but after adding perks, my opinion is changing.

The hatch solution I use; When there’s only 2 survivors left, I down 1 and then hunt for the other. Sometimes I have to down the first a few times, but generally the other survivor slips up somehow. A lot of times I’ll just hook the 3rd and not bother with getting the 4K, which allows for quicker games.

That were my thoughts in the beginning too.
I completely crushed some survivors and 4ked at 5 gens, but now that survivors understand how to play against her, I actually had games where I didnt get a single kill

Exactly and this is why nurse is the only balanced killer.

SWf is part of this game now, accept it and ofc it has to be balanced around SWF now

It has been part of the game for quite a while, and I haven't said anywhere that I have trouble accepting so. But I'm not going to pretend like every match must have SWF in the survivor team because that's just total BS. Many people still play solo (like me).

Sure there are solo players out there, I am a solo survivor aswell. But that doesnt change the fact that SWF is really common now and of course the game has to be balanced around this.

Can we do a better job as Killers (especially with Double BP weekend) to give some Survivors a CHANCE to farm points? Patrolling between a hook and a gen next to the hook is not patrolling; you're camping and minimizing your point gain.

This degree of hard camping is being magnified by Spirit's ability to hunt down the survivor in pain; some killers leave no room for heals or the ability to run. This experience is not fair by any standard. Pallets have been nerfed; new talents have been created to put pressure on survivors; some Killers' desperation to pip is overshadowing the fact that points over time make it easier to pip over time.

I understand the animosity between Killer Side and Survivor side, but Killer point gain is easy compared to Survivors; they are at our mercy with lobbies, how well we hunt, and how well we disperse our presence so everyone gets points.

We need to be the better side for the longevity of this game and for a better player experience. I know that there are survivors that deserve to be camped, and by all means go for it, but if you are camping within the first 2 minutes of a game off someone who happens to be on the 2nd gen you patrol, you aren't doing anything beneficial to the play experience of yourself or others.

This is especially frustrating as a Killer main who has to watch some other Killers play like this when lobbies need Survivors to fill them. Seeing other Killers play bad hurts me, because I know you could do better if you tried not sitting on one gen and one hook all game.

Do better; treat Survivors better, because we are better.

    Thats the problem with spirit.
She has a 20 sec cd on her power, YES TWENTY SECONDS (that is the equivalent of a whole gen if we talk about survivor time). Of course she cant simply phase away from the hook, not knowing whether she actually finds someone again.

Yes it isnt fair for the survivor, I know that because I play both sides.

But maybe you agree now that its good when we get more powerful killers such that killers actually want to use their power to chase people isntead of having to rely on camping

Btw, those killers who completely rely on camping especially on low ranks are usually the survivor mains that dont know hwo to play killer at all

Yes, this is a rant, but a right one.

    Well don’t we feel entitled.

Yeah, entitled to gain the free escape, while the killer wrecked your team, and you deserve to lose.

Rancor is exactly what the killer hatch would be. It’s almost gueenteed, but not quite. Same with normal hatch.

While Rancor is along the same lines, the killer has to use a perk slot for it, whereas the hatch is a built-in mechanic. There's no necessity to grind bloodpoints on a character for a teachable or use shards on the shrine on the off-chance it shows up. The obsession also gains the slight advantage of being able to see your aura and gaining the knowledge of if you're coming for them or not. I see where you're coming from but if Rancor was built into the base of the game and the survivor wasn't given any advantages then I think it would be more comparable.

And if it would allow the killer to instant down and mori any survivor, not only the obsession.

The reason this doesn’t exist is due to how personal it would feel... and survivor kinda needs to be 3x more appealing.

Why are killer queues faster than survivor queues then? Explain that pls

They aren’t. It’s taking forever right now. But nice asspull. Just don’t wave it on my face, it’s smelly

Doing well in a game will give you more BP than such a non-tunnel reward.
But we could need game mechanics that encourage non-tunneling and give you ingame benefits for it, slower gen speed etc

  • @scerckan said:
I've noticed that this happens especially when the killer's in the middle of an attack, the pallet just blocks him

Whos idea was it to give her super slow movement speed? Her power is quite useless for anything else other than mindgames, which 9/10 people can outsmart at rank 1 since survivors have a huge but basic advantage, third person view.

She is in severe need of buff if shes gonna be an okay killer atleast, by severe I mean:
-Increase movement speed for crying out loud
-Less cooldown on her ability, like wth no other killer has this enourmous crippling CD
-Seeing blood should be by default, like cmon? She doesnt need to be more gimped than she is

Even for survivor mains, wouldnt it be more fun to have a better variety other than nurse/billies at rank 1?

    Ops...

Been doing this in almost every match btw, probably the killer that i have most 4 Iridescents matches so far.

I've been playing her on all of my matches at Rank 1 (at least the ones that i mannaged to play after several minutes of waiting), she is perk dependant but with a proper build and enough personal Skill, she is a Top Tier killer able to rekt survivors like Nurse (Nurse end chases faster but very good survivors can still waste your time).

Best build that i used so far:Predator, Ruin, Nurses Calling, Make Your Choice.

Predator - Mandatory perk, u need it to be able to catch survivors even while chasing with your power (u need lv 3 Predator to make it useful tho), this perk also makes u a BROKEN killer at some maps with a white floor like Hospital and The Game.

Ruin - What did u expect? Even Nurse gets gen rushed without Ruin...

Nurses Calling - I was using Rancor while i didnt have better perks, a survivor were healing underground when Rancor poped up and i went straight to that survivors for a easy hit. Since then i've been doing wonders with Nurses Calling. You cant see the aura while phasing, but u know were they are because your TR is 24m and NS has a 28m range, if u see someone behind a rock all u have to do is pretend that u didnt see them by looking to the other side or gen, then phase to their location.

Make Your Choice - This perks gives u the real POWER and is almost as mandatory as Predator, it gives u the instadown needed to end chases much faster and puts that extra pressure on survivors, after a hook u usually wanna phase away, if u dont find anyone while MYC gets activated, u can quickly come back and insta down the savior or tunnel the hurted survivor.

Those are the perks which will guide u to victory, if u dont know how to use her power properly by doing mind games and Fake Phasing, just ask for another guide on that.

Mhm ok I havent got predator so far, I will test it once it appears

Will give nurses calling a try too, worked very well on hag for me

The problem I have with MYC is that most of the times the survivor will play extra stealthy after the unhook. This means that either you catch him right after the hook or myc is wasted. Now, since the power has 20 sec cd, do you walk away with 110% and then come back with phase walk at the right time?

Another problem I had is that when I come back with phase walk I cant distinguish between the mix of scratchmarks around the hook. I basically have to go for the injured one because he is the only one with sound

    Here are my builds

rancor + sloppy butcher + nurse + relenting

rancor + haunted ground + ruin + relenting

They have been really helpful for me, especially when I am dealing with gen rush. Rancor would notify me if a survivor is close to the hook. Also sloppy butcher with nurse calling is amazing because the survivor take longer to heal which give you more time to find them

I dont know, either they power through ruin as if it doesnt exist or they instantly find ruin out of three totems and ignore the other two.

I first started with ruin haunted BBQ and sloppy, now I switched to ruin haunted BBQ and MYC

But as I said MYC hasnt worked poperly for me yet because of the 20 sec cd

How does unrelenting help you at all? When I fail the spirit mindgame and miss the attack out of phase walk, then the survivor can loop me easily anyway because im a 110% killer^^

This makes the killer and the game a whole less scary as my mistakes don't mean nearly as much. So since Self-Care removes the worry, why do we use it? You paid for a horror game, don't you want to be scared?

Look at the bullying squads, do you rlly believe they purchased a horror game?

I think, if you play her right with some of her perks, she currently already is a viable killer. She just requires practicing in mindgaming.

I dont think so, especially when it comes to coordination via voice comms

It most likely will cause a lot of other issues. A lot of people would intentionally stay in low ranks to just taunt new players who might finally reach rank 15 and etc.

There would be a whole new mess with rank systems, lobbies would get worse at certain ranks, etc.

People do this already, in case you didnt know.
Even the most popular survivor streamers do this regularly, then "bully" the "baby killer" and laugh at it

I feel like the biggest problem with the spirit is her being 110% MS instead of 115%. I genuinely don't know why BHVR keep on trying to make sub 115% killers a thing, they lose all of their map control, and in the case of the spirit, does not have any power to make up for it.

Yes, hag and huntress can both display power upon locations far away. The spirit cant do this and has to stay close to the hook basically. I consider that really weird

60 min is quite long. I experience long waiting times as well. But my lobbies still fill within 10 minutes. Besides that yeah survivor gain not much points. Besides that playing with randoms can be quite crucial.

Even 10 minutes would be insane considering that a game is usually finished in a fwe minutes if the survivors dont troll around

  • My tipp:

    Dont crouch

Pig is a M1 killer that stalls the game once you downed someone, thats how I see it

the whole idea is stupid, so i dont give a ######### about that.
    WHY would you even THINK, that invulnerability for survivors would be a good idea? ;-;

Because being killed by your teammates is probably the least satisfying way to die?

Because solo players shouldn't be thrown under the bus for not playing with friends?

Because getting downed when you haven't even had a chance to press a button is bullshit?

so lets punish the killer. great suggestion. just punish the guy who farmed you! dont reward him, since he A loses A LOT of emblem points, B A LOT of BP (if its not here yet, it will be coming soon) and C also gets screwed, when one of his team insta dies.
so again: WHY WOULD YOZ OUNISH THE KILLER FOR DOING HIS JOB?

How is it that hard to kill the unhooker? Holy hell

It is hard because you are auto aimed towards the survivor being unhooked.

I woudl have no problem if the game compeltely removed the other survivors hitbox while being unhooked.
But right now, my swing is directed towards an invulnerable target, then I have to swipe of the blood and both survivors are gone.

I understand. That message was meant for someone based on principle though. It wasn’t auto aim, they just thought they should tunnel and reward the farmer instead (they even said making them lose 500 was better) even though killing them is.

Tunneling is the correct thing to do as killer. It has nothing to do with rewarding any survivor playstyle, I couldnt care less about that. I am talkign from a killers perspective
