Give the players option to derank oficially?
Make it like you need to pay 250 000 BP so they will derank frome rank back to rank 10
so the killers or ppl who dont like to play vs nurses and red addons will pay this and will get a good games
Killers lobby problem will be fixed
swf will be happy to punish and be toxic to mid rank players + if both sides will do this we will still get a balanced que most of the time

I don't think this is a very good idea. It will just throw people into lower ranks where they'll dominate people who are newer to the game. You're trading skill balance for queue times which will end up driving people away and increasing queue times again. Who'd want to start playing a game where higher skilled people can just pay some bloodpoints and bully you?

there is the same ppl playing all over agayne and there is many survs who alrdy derank too
i know for 100% that devs will not gona do any moves to fix it(mby even broke more) but ranks in this game mean like 0 since surv have a free way to unplug
That would defeat the whole point of why there is a ranking system to begin with.
Might as well get rid of rank altogheter and let player with 1 bajillion hour in the game dunk on player that don't even have 10 hour yet or hardcore player on casual.

The current queues has nothing to do with rank but with people farming BP for double bloodpoints which is way easier at lower ranks using killer.
Why would a survivor play in the high ranks against try hards and get way less BP?
Just derank the normal way, if you play allot then it doesnt matter.
Why unplug if it ment you wouldn't lose the 3 pips... that defeats the purpose of deranking.
Not going to spend points to remove the rank.. just DC or do nothing in the match.
This would decrease the amounts of Billies and Nurses while making the game more fun on both sides.

It most likely will cause a lot of other issues. A lot of people would intentionally stay in low ranks to just taunt new players who might finally reach rank 15 and etc.
There would be a whole new mess with rank systems, lobbies would get worse at certain ranks, etc.
People do this already, in case you didnt know.
Even the most popular survivor streamers do this regularly, then "bully" the "baby killer" and laugh at it

so i deranked to rank 10 first time in my 700 hours game and what i see?
the SWF
3 of them is rank 3-2 and one is rank 15
so its mean that SWF ignore the rank and its ok for you?
i mean what if i will be a new player in rank 10 and i need to play vs this guys?

1) The killers must dont derank cuz it will broke a game cuz Good killer vs low survs
2) The SWF can ignore this rule and its a part of the game so no one care about new killers?

i played the game since beta and i clearly know how they work
i dont rly care about balance but i just wana play the game like i want and not in (play 2 days as killer and after this play only the surv like a month or dont complain). its just not normal to act like this with comunity
I don't get why you can't earn BP in KYF at a lowered rate, maybe no bonuses from perks/offerings or something. It's annoying to wait forever in a lobby at high ranks especially if you got there fast after a reset.
The lobby wait for killer is ridiculous.
Lobby wait times are because there are MANY people trying to play killer right now. It's a free week, double BP (you get more points as killer), AND the Spirit just released. Everyone and their mother is trying to play killer right now and this means there are more killers than there are survivors, meaning higher lobby queue times for killers.
I think another large issue is SWF. If the ability was removed for a SWF group to gain rank at all during the matches they play together, then the problem is largely solved, as far as boosting new players AND having a higher rank person or 2 in a killer match they don't belong in.
You could even give the killer a compensation in points, as well, to offset the higher rank person in their games. Because, even though the survivors in the SWF group can't gain rank, that doesn't mean they can't still group at vastly different rank levels.
Why not have Prestige'ing cause a deranking? It's irritating, and frustrating, to Prestige a character at higher Ranks and not have any Perks to face off against higher skilled people. Maybe Prestige could cause a derank of X% of your current or some other formula. Would make it a lot better imo, and make Prestige'ing attractive to people who don't want to lose their Perks and Items at their current Rank.
I wouldn't mind playing in the lower ranks.
I'll bring my Nurse and go easy on the new guys while totally crushing the bully SWF squads.
Hell no. Why would they add a feature to do what the ranking system is intended to prevent? You actually think the devs want survivors with god tier perks running circles around killers with just their starting ones, and vice versa? Because this would cause this a ton. That isn't fair to newer players, not in the slightest
Whats the point? The game is completely out of whack as it is. I'm rank 10 and I'm facing reds and purples. They can't even fix the matchmaking.
I just saw 2 streamers yesterday do that, constantly dc so they don't have to play "stressful games"
Derank down to 15 and you wont face that many red ranks anymore, yeah matchmakign is a big joke
Jendenise just explained to me on stream that she DCs shortly before the game ends in order to derank.
The irony is that in the beginning of her stream, she played one of her montage videos going against these low rank killers and laughing about them.
I only commented with "and you wonder why killers camp", then she explained to me that killers only do that because they are bad

While they ran their metas, I was lacking the perks I needed to beat them. I had no Bamboozle to close loops, no Enduring for stuns, no BBQ for detecting them, etc.
I was going against Survivors who played too well for me to have a chance at winning, who also had excellent perk setups and metas, while I was without what I needed to stand a chance.
The support ticket was closed after their response, being that they ‘cannot edit your Killer/Survivor rank’.
I guess it is understandable though. I wouldn’t be surprised if toxic players and bullies expected to abuse this.
I didn’t touch Killer until Rank-reset, just went over to my Rank 14 Survivor for the next week and a half.
Look, if we were allowed to drop ranks, BHVR might as well remove the ranking system completely because that’ll be the end result.
The support tickets always "closed and solved" in about 24 hours but nobody ever fixes anything. I confronted support desk about it, they obviously didn't bother to explain why tickets get marked as solved while the same issues are still there after so long, but told me to be patient instead lol. I don't even see a point in writing tickets since no one in BHVR even gives a bad word
