Yes, because that's what we need. More useless event currency that just sits in our offerings after the event has passed.

    BP multiplier, all we need.

Completely unrelated to a post revolving around speculation but okie dokes, since we're steering that direction, it's safe to say charms have nothing to do with offerings. That was clear from the leaks.

As far as a BP multiplier, that's nice and all but rather a stale hand out at this point. Especially considering how easy it is to currently obtain BP. Now if we're discussing what we need, that it a whole different story of its own. Multiple gameplay modes, several perk tweaks, improved optimization, the hopefully soon-to-come dedicated servers, denim mini skirt for Kate, etc etc.

    :-)

    Yeah well you never know.

Tatum or Gail would be fun.

Mapwise, the Party at Stu's house with easter eggs of Kenny's van and the dog door in the garage would also be fun.

That would be a pretty killer map.

    @Silas No, I think

But Feng finally got a cosmetic

About time lol. If only they would give us more color variations of the new outfits like they used to.

  • Were there any leaked outfits for Kate? (:

  • As long as we get Kirby Reed for a survivor 😍

it has nothing to do with retaliation. it means i have better things to do with my time. talk about "playground rules".

Clearly not, if you'd rather DC than be sacrificed. You just lost all of the points you earned throughout that match. Sounds more like a waste of time to me.

  • "c*ka"

I want to know what the missing letter is...

  • Quit crying about someone utilizing the game mechanics offered to them. Not everyone is going to play your way.

Not only is DC'ing a pathetic attempt to "get back" at someone, but really you're just sacrificing all your points and making it easier for the killer. Way to pull one over on them lmao.

Not the same team. I don’t know how many times people have to explain this.

    Exactly.

I think it's better improve the game than putting skins, but that's just my opinion

Several cosmetics are already made. It's just a matter of releasing.

Regardless though, I'd assume... and hope... that they have separate teams for new content and those addressing bugs/fixes.

Ikr ? I waited for too long to have new Kate skin and now they haven’t released it yet ?

Mid chapter is coming and these cosmetics haven’t been out . They want to pass the mid patch next outfits or something ? :(

Same. It's been forever since Kate got a cosmetic!

  • HUSH. This would be badass.

DLC with Buffy Summers and The Gentleman......... yes please.

  • Kate, Claudette and Jane (:

  • In-game chat would work if it was proximity based, similar to F13. That way you can only talk to people within a small range. It would also make a nice touch if the killer could hear you when nearby.

The ONLY tough question was killers in 2017 because I wasnt playing then haha.

It was a tricky one as two of the answers had the same number with the list of killers-- but only one of them named them properly in accordance to the game :P

  • If the gates never get opened, then the killer should keep their add-ons (so no less than 3K). That'd be equivalent to a survivor escaping imo.

  • Yes, there are the occasional moments where people get DC'ed due to high ping, the game crashing or whatever. But the most common reason is that they're butthurt things aren't going their way and, sadly, rage-quitting isn't anything new in the gaming world.

I play both killer and survivor as solo usually without add-ons or items, not like that should really matter regardless, and still run into people DC'ing every other match. It's just going to happen. I would somewhat understand if these were little kids but the majority of these players are grown ass adults who can't take a loss. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

  • Same. I've been experiencing this a lot since the last patch on PS4, it's really annoying. I just let the killer find me and get a free kill.

  • We don't need a legacy 2.0, as Carpemortum said. But it would be nice to have some type of cosmetics that can be earned only by grinding and not available to buy with cells in the store.

Really we should earn devotion shards or something each time we reach a devotion level, allowing us to purchase cosmetics only obtained with those shards. Or at least some rare cosmetics for each survivor/killer only available with iri shards (but a crazy high amount like 75k or more, making them even more rare to come across).

People complain about the most insignificant things in this game and demand an immediate fix. Multiplayer games like this are meant to be competitive, so there should be no surprise when a survivor teabags at the gate or a killer nods their head after a hook.

tell that to the survivors that won't get over the match, and just leave.
Instead hang around until they get chased out.
Are you going to keep suggesting things the survivors could be doing, too, but don't?

You may not be the best at reading and that's okay, I will not judge you on that. To further clarify, or repeat rather, I did clearly state that this is a competitive game and it's no surprise that players from both sides will grief the other to an extent. To whine about such trivial matters is entertaining, I will admit, but quickly grows tiresome when it becomes the 10,000th post on the subject.

I could further elaborate but I shouldn't have to. You're either arguing just to argue or, which would even be more pathetic, you truly believe that you have a point. If you're genuinely still confused on the matter, refer to previous post. Still baffled? Refer to common sense.

    Bye bye now.

  • I see killers dodge all the time on a reg basis and, when survivor, I normally play solo as Kate with no items. Usually they DC when they assume it's a team or see multiple people with items.

Don't get it... I'm a killer main and I know damn well an experienced solo player could be just as good if not better than an entire SWF group. Items and SWF don't matter, it depends on the skill.

  • If the killer resorts to camping, that makes it easier for the survivors to gen rush. Use it to your advantage.

  • You know what's more simple? Chasing them out.

  • oh mah goodness gracious

People who use the hatch for a free escape is labeled a "noob" because when you down them and hook them twice or even once and they are the last person left, They go for the hatch, The hatch is bad design and it needs removing.. WHY?

It's because it takes the killer 2 hits and then he has to hook them 3 times to kill them so thats 6 hits or maybe more if they spam heal..., it just makes it unfair and unbalanced.

People who didnt earn the hatch in the first place gets there username down on my notepad and if they come into my game i WILL tunnel them to the max and i will face camp them, Why?, BECAUSE at the end of the game they disrespect you and call you a noob at the end..

The hatch to me in a noob escape (Only if they didnt even earn it in the first place)

What about this devs.. If they didnt get downed TWICE the hatch will open BUT if they did get downed TWICE the hatch does not OPEN because they didnt earn it so they will have to get the gens or the last gen..., This makes it fair but will the devs listen?

The hatch is just a noob escape and you well know it.. It annoys me the most is when you hooked them twice and they are get to the hatch first and at the end of the game they disrespect you to the MAX!

Just please, Do something with the hatch my GOD!, Its so annoying when you are doing well and they go for the hatch?... No skill at all!

To get this upset about a mechanic in a game is pretty pathetic. Especially when your argument is invalid.

Just because they were hit or downed throughout the match does not mean they didn't contribute/earn anything, if anything its quite the contrary. Usually the ones that get attacked first are the ones actually doing objectives. Regardless, the only requirement to earn the hatch is to be the final survivor when 3 or less generators remain. If the hatch is open, then yes... based on the intended mechanics from the developers, they earned it. They did nothing to manipulate gameplay and force it to spawn on the map.

You're clearly one of those butthurt players that rage quit or send hate messages after the match if things don't go your way. I mean for crying out loud you have a scroll of names you go through when you start each match lmao.

Let me clear things up for you: it's just a game.

  • The red stain should just be removed from the game completely.

  • I loved that movie.

Although in the movie it was a hotel and in the DBD picture it looks more like a ski lodge. Wouldn't put it past them to put their own twist on it though.

If you have DS or Boil Over you can pretend ;)
@Silas was playing with those axes. They didnt seem to glitch at all
That's a relief. Haven't played with the new outfit yet and that was one of my concerns haha
  • Well at least to give us an option to wear the jeans without the axes lol. I think it would have looked better without them imo but I know many people would disagree
  • Man they should have tossed out a variation without all the stuff dangling from it. Now we're gonna have glitching hair and ice axes flying all over the map ;(
  • So...
    Ahem

Unnecessary but okay. At least mine was directed toward a more general audience, not at an individual who has other things to do rather than auto-generate replies on a forum.

Okay this is going to be my honest-to-god criticism about the Killer. I'm sorry that no one has sent you a message yet but they usually like to read about more fleshed-out Killers like perks add-ons whatnot.

As for your killer idea it's interesting to say the least tripwires would be pretty cool but then again a tripwire is a two-way activational. First I need to apply a tick here in here just to set up the tripwire. Then there is a limitation on how much of it I can actually set up and what not. If you were to rework the tripwire to something like a bell that you can easily set up the survivors don't really see until it's too late then maybe but has it currently stands. The Killer has trap setting abilities but nothing to really help out in the chase it's an interesting concept but you're going to need to flush it out or rework.

To be honest, didn't put too much thought into the abilities and whatnot. Winged it. Just thought he'd make a great addition, as there are plenty of aspects that can be pulled from the movies and implemented into the game. Clearly left it open to suggestions. Didn't reply to your comment as you insinuated that it is my obligation to fully flesh out something I'm simply lying on the table as a general idea. Not my job and I certainly don't care enough to go into such deep detail on something that is not likely to be seen, let alone considered, by one of the devs. Thought he'd make an interesting killer and I'm sharing that with the community—that's it.

If you disagree, cool. That's your opinion. But spare me the attitude.  ;)
  • I was just noticing this last night and thought it was my Tylenol 3 drowsiness kicking in lmao. ######### poor Dwighty boy
  • They should've awarded event exclusives, on top of the blight cosmetics. There's nothing special about earning something when no one can tell if you whether earned it or bought it.
  • That's some bullshit

Seems like you guys are all newcomers, more or less.

Artifact is a very old category, it's a shade brightert than the Ultra Rare pink and is used for the Streamer exclusives (those that weren't in the Charity Case and the original versions of those that were).

Been playing for over a year on PS4. There is no real reason to just now toss that category onto consoles unless they plan on releasing more similar exclusives in the future. But who knows.

  • Hopefully Artifacts are rare cosmetics awarded in game.

Survivors: While looting a chest, there's a slim chance of finding a cosmetic. If they do, they must escape in order to keep it.

    Killers: While searching a locker, there's a slim chance of finding a cosmetic. They must received Ruthless Killer victory to keep it. There's obviously more lockers than chests on a map, but if they were to just farm lockers then everyone would likely escape--hence no cosmetic. (;

    ... or somethin' like that

A perkless character doesn´t give more incentive to play. Because you don´t NEED to play that character to unlock his teachables. Right now, people get up to the limit and waste points on other characters they wouldn´t usually spend the points on. Then the character is released, people spend the million points and play some matches to test the char, but then go back to their usual chars, to farm more points for the perkless char. The limit only changes the timeframe. Instead of farming before the char is released, people are forced to farm after the release. Remove the limit, and let people decide when they want to farm.

Btw. the whole bp system needs a rework. The current 8.000 points limit is from back when points were required to pip. The new 100% bonus bp addons make currently no sense, since they award the points during the match. For example, a Wraith with Distressing and The Beast addon gets 2.200 points in Deviousness per hit. Reaching the limit in 4 hits. Either they haven´t thought about this, or they don´t know their perks/addons.
Why should anyone gimp his character with a build like this one, if it doesn´t award points past the limit?

It's simple logic. If players reach the cap and "waste" their points on other characters, and are then tempted to grind BP to level up new characters... clearly they played more than they would have without the cap. It's a good business move.

Now, from the player's perspective. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have everything handed to me on a silver platter. Games like that are boring and people lose interest fast. If anything, teachable perks should be harder to unlock—perhaps unlocking one per prestige or by completing character-specific achievements. But anyway, without the cap people would just play as their main and let BP add up over the weeks until a new survivor/killer is released then instant P3. Lame.

Anyway, I'm done with this conversation. Best of luck to you and your future endeavors.

  • Huntress has the best mask and Wraith has the best body. Although I do like the new spikes coming from the Trapper's upper back!

  • @Skemooo said:
my point was that from level 1-40 or somethings its easy to get shards upwards of 15K or soemthing.. but after that it takes longer to levelup and shards are awarded at same rate.. which is what im getting at..

A level 80 Devotion 1 player should earn more shards since it takes more time to levelup than a level 40 Devotion1 .. I want to stack up on shards for upcoming event.. not sure if itrequires shards.. but unless at level 1 or something its painfully slow to earn them since it takes liek 3 -4 games to level up XP requirement is 4200 atm for me..

    Agreed!

  • @Tsulan said:
P3 is only a skin. A skin doesn´t make a char OP. Resticting bloodpoints has only negative effects. It doesn´t remove the grind. Those points have to be farmed first. It doesn´t turn a character OP, because players will have everything unlocked some days earlier. A perkless new character doesn´t give less incentives to play, than a fully stacked new character.

Devs said also, no clowns. Devs said, survivors are supposed to play with random players only. Devs are not adamant on things. If we as a community ask for something, they´ll give it to us.

Who said anything about prestige making characters OP?

You're absolutely right, restricting BP doesn't remove the grind. It encourages it, which is the point. When you cap off at 1 mil, you spend BP on other characters and when new ones are released you save up again to level them up. A perkless new character clearly gives more incentive to play if the player intends to unlock their teachables.

And yes, that's true. Just because the devs said something doesn't mean it's set it stone. They're entitled to a change of mind. But if we're going to ask or demand for things, perhaps we should make our requests a bit more reasonable.

  • But since we stemmed away from the actual topic... Yeah, they definitely need to add better rewards for reaching higher player levels or at least devotion rewards. Exclusive cosmetics preferably.
  • Tsulan said:

    [insert really rude word]!!
No one would have a p3 character with every single perk as soon as that char comes out. That´s more than 10 million bloodpoints. And even IF someone wants to save say 12 million bloodpoints and spend them on that new character. Which btw. would take a tedious amount of time. So what? Does this in affect YOU in any negative way? Does this make this person better than other players? Does it give a ingame advantage? NOPE!

There are several people who manage to P3 a new character the same day they're released and that's with the BP cap. Imagine without it. It takes no time at all, especially with the right offerings or the help of a double BP weekend/SWF mass offerings, to prestige a character. The focus shouldn't be on if they were to unlock all perks but the teachable perks. Without the cap, players would be able to unlock all the teachables for both the new killer and survivor upon release.

    Tsulan said:

But it makes no sense to have a limit now. Since the savegame data is stored online.
They removed the shards limit, there is no auric cells limit. Why have a bloodpoint limit?

There would be no challenge in leveling up characters.
No challenge = less incentive to play.
Less incentive to play = bad business move.

This is what devs said, deal with it

    Basically this.
  • Did we get variations/recolors of her new outfit or just one base outfit? I'm stuck at work ugh.. Screenshots anyone?!
  • What about for both survivors and killers, each time you prestige and reach level 50 you unlock the 4th tier of their 3 teachable perks (with slightly better stats, nothing crazy).

    P1, lvl 50 = Unlocks 1st Teachable Perk Tier 4
    P2, lvl 50 = Unlocks 2nd Teachable Perk Tier 4
    P3, lvl 50 = Unlocks 3rd Teachable Perk Tier 4
