That youtuber is constantly badmouthing survivors, well I don't expect anything else from Sadako mains they all play dirty, most I go up against is like that, they even hump you on the ground for no reason as if they’ve actually accomplished something. Overall I wouldn't trust him he exaggerates a lot, pretty sure it’s not a 42-meter anti-camp range, it’s closer to 30-32 meters

Even 30 is overkill especialy when it works when survivor is in that range and even more if he is chased which is caught even in his video and I had it happen in many of my games just broken stuf made by madman.

Plus that anticamp of 60 seconds damm only 80 second OTR beats it.

Another hidden buff so as survivor you get in lights out (ON):

    • 20% faster gen speed (1 survivor takes 72-75 seconds to do a single gen and two do it in something like 45 seconds thats geat)
    • gen start with small progress to be better located
    • 60 seconds of endurence after unhook
    • all start with lantern which shows gens and gives WOO which is one in top 10 perks
    • hidden buff of unticamp meter being larger by double it seems which with it latest changes making it stronger the longer killers in makes it super strong

    Killers got:

    • no terror radius and darkness (darkness is bit nerfed by lantern :)
    • franklins that should probably work against lanters which are super common there ???? no because it doesnt count as item :)

So thats great overkill again like we didnt want that mode raw so we said medium rare and devs cooked so high that they overcooked it again as always with astronomical number of buffs to one side which no one asked for especialy didnt they called 15 seconds being to abuseable so thats why they make it 10 and then slapping 60 seconds in this mode because it makes sence, classic.

Exactly how large was the area made? Is this punishing killers being on the wrong side of the map if they dont immediately find a new survivor to chase in the dark?

Looks like 1/5 of map tbh especialy works when someone is around that survivor

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ynvgk3Grug8%C2%A8

Idk when they stop all modes to bring closer to 2v8 where survivors are heavily favored because thats not great thing in all modes but devs well (dont care).

Did they remove rerolling daily rituals? I swear you used to be able to.

Its gone since they rework it I believe.

The old system wasnt so great either like if you wanted bp you had to play something you dont so another misserable game ahead but now its more well rounded tbh.

  • The ones they dont delete still exist so I guess they dont.

    Play solo queue.

You'll get tunneled and camped so much you'll realize the control of being the killer makes it a lot more peaceful.

Not much worse then playing weaker killer especialy with handholding devs lately did such as pallet density, 15 seconds of endurence and haste as unhook protection.

Go and write another sentence to your rule book like anybody cares.

For playing killer well its simple just dont care that much even if you play nice (no tunnel or slug or hits on hook etc.) there will be survivors that will still hate you and write you slurps in endgame chatt even if they win they are toxic its just people showing what they realy are so dont let it get you its their problem not yours.

    Another advice is this

    https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ZmN3Ld4_L-M

if you care for win and if you doesnt well just play how you like but dont take people seriously. Another fact is if you win more its easier to annoy them with things like "yeah just get better" or "I won so" to crack that salt it works all the time how they rage bait easily.

  • @cammoking123 said:

Does anyone even use Wesker's pallet vaulting? Feels like it's faster to just go around them.

On strong pallets its good to use it especialy now where it vaults more often then before where when survivor dropped pallet there was some delay that make even few seconds that pallet impossible to vault but since they fixed his hitboxes the vaults are more consistent.

  • @Shroompy said:

You can always just switch to another killer who's quieter while already in Q

Last time I did that somehow (dont ask how cause Dead by buglight probably) I eded up joining into lobby as the killer I switched to from the one i wanted to play. I switched from blight birkin skin to trapper :), so tis isnt always working as it should be saddly.

Just like me having always from chaos shuffle (the one before this that ended few days ago, it was where they made addons random but some werent there unlike now) having iri mask on ghoul equiped as I pick him as killer its always there no matter how many times I closed and opened the game so some bugs are there like anomaly.

Thank god the worst one that made all your progress to be deleted and devs must manualy send you bp but you had to send email to bhvr at first to get some bp is gone and wont come back I hope (I lost 365 hours like 3 p1 character or more, back them things were more expensive and bp bonus werent so good as today).

Not really and I dont really get how you come to this conclusion.

What I mean is that SWF is simply removing teammate RNG. Obviously as Solo Survivor you can play with 3 other great Solo Survivors who are all good at the game. This can happen. But you can also play with 3 people who dont know if they are playing DBD or Minecraft. And SWF removes this. (Obviously if the SWF plays to win. Most SWFs are just friends playing with each other, so they most likely dont care if some of them or all of them are terrible at the game)

Just as an example: Lets say you are a good DBD-player. We end up in a game together and you carry me. This is RNG, since instead of you I could also get someone else who never touches a Gen.

But if I invite you to an SWF, I will not end up with someone who does not touch a Gen, I will end up with a good player all the time.

    See what I meant?

Great exsample of soloq vs swf with coms difference can be seen right now in lights out.

Where soloq just wonders and plays with no info just only with what they see or can see on hud (state of their teammates) a swf can do more things like navigate themself more easily, get reset heal in one location where killer has no idea where it is, giving each other info on where killer was and which direction je went and helping each other on gens to get them faster or do trickier saves etc.

If you dont see advantage of swf that communicates compsre to soloq which is only held by each players skill and their game sence then I dont know what will.

Thats lights out but same works in normal mode same, shared info and strategies have solid impact on the gameplay. Like soloq one guy sees ghostface near him at the start heading towards the main now in soloq that means this info has one guy and others are in danger because they have no idea but on swf with coms that one gux calls it out, shares info with his team and they know same as he does so that killer is now in dissadvantage compare to regular match against same players or with simular skill if they would be just soloq even worse players can use this info to fend off thst ghostface gor longer then they would in soloq.

Thats main difference and you dont need that extream knowleadge of map part names to do it like clock system they use in comp.

Obviously Comms help. Nobody can deny that.

But if you think that Comms are the reasons why SWF is better than SoloQ you once show that your knowledge of the game is not really good. You can put the same 4 good players in a game with and without Comms and the result would roughly be the same. And you can put the same 4 bad players in a game with and without Comms and the result would also be roughly the same.

I dont know how Killers can still cling to the myth that Comms make bad Survivors suddenly good.

Skill is one thing but shared info is something that makes even worse players better and they make less mistakes like now how many soloq players look if someone has deli? I think only few in thousand but these same people on coms if they arent so silent introverts and can speak and tell others they dont need save because they have that perk thats huge improvement.

You will denny it as you did few times before but shared info makes even not that good players play better it doesnt pudh them on comp level no one claims it as you say, but it makes them make less mistakes, be more aware about game state, where the killer is or was or what someone runs anc thats huge improvement.

Thats like you claiming that that hud update for other survivors didnt help at all but it did a lot, like ones that didnt bothered to look on games situation and think where someone was and what they were doing and ignore hud info today stayed same but the ones that watch it and are aware got better edpecialy their game sence and knowing game state like who is doing what and when to rotate for save or pick up.

Things like these make people play better, I played many games like r6,csgo and difference being in team that speaks and shares info and makes call outs was big even playing in swf in DBD where one guy just type with me on steam but was with other two on coms made games so much easier and escapes or getting endgame saves so easier, again you will probably denny it as you did few times before but I think everyone has some experience with this and my is communication makes people play better and more focus on the game thrn when they are alone.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4106276#Comment_4106276

Because Communication never was the issue with SoloQ. Or never the thing which made SWF better than SoloQ. As I have written in my post, Survivors already get information, but dont use it. Like, you dont need Comms to see if a teammate who just got hooked in the Basement has Wicked and can unhook themselves. Saying "I have Wicked, dont come to me" would be extra information which would not even be needed.

However, if you would put 4 good Survivors together, they would not need a Chat Wheel or even Comms to be good, since they know what they are doing.

Overall, SoloQ is mainly a Matchmaking Issue and not an information or communication issue. But again, I also said that it will most likely not hurt at all, so I am all for it. But I dont think it will really change much to make SoloQ a better experience.

If you think communication like coms dont make difference and isnt thing that makes swf strong well that isnt good joke.

Communication makes night and day difference, if you played any team game then you should know how different it is when your team plays silent or when it does communicate and shares information.

  • @MorelClaudette said:

    I don't see any issue.

That's clearly a lamp on the picture. Only lights are out. Lamps aren't affected by the outness.

Problem is when survivor places lamp onto gen and killer smacks it, it will still make some light.

This exetution of this mode is more lights on then out tbh.

  • @Domicci said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/470899/tried-lights-out-for-the-first-time-and-damn-it-sucks

killer feels like a humiliation ritual and survivor feel boring as hell with how fast the gens are done.

Love how these unknown heroes downvote you for but you are absolutely righ.

Single survivor does gen in around 72-75 seconds depending on hitting greats and two get it around 44 seconds.

Now tell me its not fast compare to 90 for one on single gen and 44 for two on single gen thats a big gen pregress not to mention you would need to be compleatly deaf to miss a gen.

This mode as again swf sided as always.

  • @Angy_Quentin said:

As killer it's fun, but i don't really see the appeal as survivor except for a few games.

Would be fun untill they gave survivors 20% boost for repair speed which means coordinated swf on coms or very good loopers that have WOO with lantern can slow you enough to do all gens easily or in swf case reset heals which is big deal too in this mode unless you run bubba, mayers, legion.

Against solo its sometimes easy or bit challanging depending on skill level of survivors but I had like almost half of my games 3-4 mans running base blendette on coms and let me tell gens get done fast even when you do quite well as killer. Bare in mind gens take 72 seconds istead of 90 and two survivors doing gen get it can get it I believe under 53 seconds which is like on normal speed without gen speed buff of 20%.

So gens will fly and tunneling isnt option because unhooks get 60 seconds of endurence even when gates are powered aka endgame they keep it there too. Only going for two survivors to get them quickly out (becuase one pushed right from hook is more protected you need a little bit spread targets) or slug is option and thats not that fun too. Im hooking when I can and slug in rare occasions but the games are hard and you need to play killer who isnt bad in this mode in first place.

Not to mention why are survivors in lights out mode seeing things like gates auras even after they arent showed for these 10 seconds? Another exsample of devs having good intentions but cooking too much that it got overcooked, as I say their speciality when something needs small nerf or buff they always choose the extream of going big or none.

  • @dangersmymidd1ename said:

I believe the new perk Hex: Under Your Thumb is the first perk in the game that works on "gaining a hook state" and not "being hooked". So it is possible future perks/updates will become like this.

So killers will get somethign simular to shoulder the burden in bright future you think?

Now for every hook even when its cage from pyramidhead or exile from judgement the survivor needs to be downed and always will need to be.

I'm not talking about end game or the anti-camp meter, I'm talking about using your power near a hook during the normal course of a match.

Which henry has nerfed even when gates are opened, bubbas had limit on unhooked survviors but it get lost in bugs even you missed it and there are killers that have that like artist or some trap killers.

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4105820#Comment_4105820

Let me put it this way.

I am a nurse main with almost 5k hours. I main nurse because she is by far the best killer in the game, and i want to win games. I don't say this to brag but i don't count "win streaks" or anything, but i legitimately cannot remember the last time i lost a game as nurse (maybe once a week or 2 i get a draw).

With all of that, if the judgement releases as is, i will become a judgement main.

I don't think the content creators are correct and she is not that difficult to play. She's definitely going to be more difficult than nurse, but it isn't some crazy mechanical skill that takes years to master. I suspect i will be winning games with her like i do nurse in a month at most after i have perfected my build with her.

Look nurse is not easy but its easier then henry (vecna 2.0) and many other killers even the mechanicaly easier ones because she playes on different scale a totaly different game where loops and obstackles change meaning.

Judgement is way harder especialy the closer you get, I dont denny she can be or be more better then now people think but from what I saw now she looks strong but very unreliable more like sniper killer that doesnt hook (which has impact on perks too).

We will see when she comes live what she will look like but now I have this opinon about her, good at range but terrible on close chase probably worse then 4,6 m/s base killer like trapper only thing that keeps her up is her range potencial and ability to bypass hooking so many strong meta perks like ds,shoulder etc.

  • Would be nice but sadly devs in this version of game (mobile had more none legendary skins that had unique mories) dont do mories or rework them or add them only option is when new legendary skin comes for that character like naughty bear, were elk, true form for dracula etc.

So I doubt he will have second one, twins are I think only killer with two mories (excluding mini mories like jason ones etc.) depending on victor being on scharlotte or being on the map free but then they kinda forget this idea.

  • @Xendritch said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4105883#Comment_4105883

I mean she definitely needs so close range option because I don't think the 180 thing is viable regardless of M+K or controller because you have to take your eyes off the survivor to do it and by then they may have broken LoS so you're essentially just guessing and even if they don't they can just run into you and still have time to vault or pallet drop after you cast in a loop. So I don't see it as a controller issue it's just an issue with the killer in general. The only viable closeish range shots are the horizontal ones where you stay slightly back and those are completely doable on controller.

The time on it its limited plus it needs to be done fast to not loose the LoS on survivor so Its very limited against people that arent very predictiable and run in straight line.

Survibor can easily doge now and hsve enough time to get to the window or pallet before she gets from cooldown back to her speed its way more punishing then missing with henry or other killers.

Like I said Im not controller user but from what I seen on Yt on some people playing on it and then against MK users doing it well the difference was huge its like comparing xeno main on MK against ceno main on console or trickster the difference in speed and accuracy is there and makes huge difference in success with this killer.

Ofcourse you can have different experience but I know how hardto nearly impossible sometimes can it be to hit people that are good with m2 from pyramidhead, henry and imagining it with this killer that is even harder probably his close m2 hits are one of hardest things in entire game without being some frame perfection tech so I dont think it will be easy like they maybe leave as it is but I see here krasue/artist problem like it will be too hard for majogity of people and unfun so they keave this killer to rot in the corner which isnt that great.

Personaly if they leave it as it is I will play it just for achivements and then leave it forever like pig untill they change it.

  • Henry isnt right too, his anticamp shouldnt work at endgame where he is just m1 4,4 speed killer if survivors get to close to the hook.

On jason they turn the omnipresent exiting close hook which wasnt needed because basement exist, I would get if they would do it in endgame.
If you dodnt notice every character is some sort of test so best option is ask the devs.

Bubba had delay on unhooked survivor but then it stoped working so you can down them still fast (there was delay from unhook so you didnt get hit immidietly after unhook but then it bugged out and manx people even forget something like this existed).

Currently anticamp is strongest it ever been its stronger the longer killer is in its range, all survivors see the bar so they dont block it by mistake of not knowing the distance now.

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

I prefer sniping over hyper mobility, it kind of reminds me of artist but a better version of her? At least you can react/position accordingly to a sniper, whilst Nurse is like if she is good you are hit regardless.

There is still mindgames at long distance and I love that about the Judgements design so far.

Artist would be super good as sniper if only her counter wouldnt be so bad, all the survivor has to do is to jump into thr locker and poof crows sre gone plus she cant damage you inside.

On close range artist is actualy very strong, she csn use her crows to totaly destroy loops snd force hits just zone killer on roids.

Only few things make artist bad even without that hands addon that spreads crows as some infection and is usualy must run, thats first multiple floors plus elevations so maps like gideon or swamp ones are very bad for her and second is the thing with lockers that they remove crows instantly which is still stupid because she has to hit you twice to damage you through objects for each health state.

Im still wondering why lockers remove crows instantly like she is strong but not that busted and takes some skill plus is in top 5 least played.

But how devs are solving this issue??? Easily, by giving her good skins which will deffinitely bring more people to play her especialy when they are paid ones.

  • @Xendritch said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4105775#Comment_4105775

I play on controller and can 4k on her fairly comfortably as long as I focus on long range and midrange shots, close range is hard but get somewhat easier if I'm using prayer kneeler. Console will be fine as long as they actually want to get good at the killer.

Thats the thing long to medium she is deffinitely strong but on close range unless you run certain addon (cant remember the name but I think its the one you mentioned, its the one otz has in his vid too) you dont get these shots easily especialy not on controller where doing sharp and fast camera turns that had to be very accurate like 180 flicks not to mention survivors still see the pillar before it can damage them.

She needs some adjustment for this or it would be very bad killer for all players that dont use mause and keyboard and even then good survivors will be super hard to hit. You can chase them as m1 killer but you are 4,4 m/s which is even worse then regular 4,6 m1 killers like trapper.

She is good but on close range she will be garbage so almost everybody will play her range just closing distance but not going close and spaming the pillar till they down you and exile you which I bet survivors find very annoying just look at vecna the first he is almost the same but he goes close he works mid to close range but she is totaly new here she works best at long to medium range and on close range she sucks a lot maybe more then hag due to her size.

  • @Domicci said:

i wouldnt even call tunneling out at 5 gens toxic its the same as 3 survivors jumping on gens while ones in in chase its just bveinf effective.

Even when I know this will get downvoted a lot, yes both are going for max effiency in each sides objective and both are very unfun to go against for opposite side.

The comp players do it all the time spreading gens asap as survivors and killers go for hard tunnel every time they can so this kinda proves my point.

Its just same in grant scheme of things its going for 100% efficiency with being super unfun to go against for 100% (I cant imagine someone who likes/loves to be tunneled at 5 gens or loose 3 gens in one chase).

Only one who comes to my mind are comp players but I dont think they care for fun that much as they do for results, they are on top of that used to it and expect it a lot more then other players.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/470846/spirit-passive-phase

So sadako is also too strong? Because she does the same. Actually if we only count the passive blinking sadako is even stronger with the newspaper because she is 4.6 and spirit only 4.4 xD

Also you have to predict where she is. If you saw her light a second ago and now it's gone chances are good that she changed direction simply because you don't see her anymore and it's effective. Of course she could also gamble on the fact that you think that and just keep running, but there's a reason it's called a "mindgame" xD

Dont forget she does it longer than spirit and has addon that makes it even more stronger plus as you say she is faster and smaller.

And even with that she js weak killer.

  • You are right its pointless because unless you buy every chapter you cant get it and each new chapter brings new ones.

Achievements you event cant get because you dont have certain chapter still count for your total % of achivements done so theres no point.

We know that an MMR change is coming, but I don't think we got an ETA for that.

Either way, the Chorus of Sin chapter is not going to feature it, since there was no mention of it in the PTB patch notes.

Well some pallet density changes werent featured too if I remember and still made it into live, thing no one asked for so theres chance devs will cook and overcook it again like they always do.

Not to mention how super buggy is ptb compare to before I bet first week will be almost unplayable in live.

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/470626/judgement-is-a-sniper

Her chase is not weak and she is by far the best killer in the game if they release her in the current state.

I suspect that if they do nothing, in about a year people will be complaining about her being too oppressive once people get the hang of her.

She is good till you get close like 14 meters and less and then she is just 4,4 killer who can use power but has to 180 flick to maybe get hit thats super hard and she gets slowed a lot by doing it and has huge cooldown for following with m1 attack. Basicaly killer you cant play on controller.

On paper she looks god tier but thats just on paper, what matters is hod it works in real game. People complain on every killer I dont remember killer that didnt got hate like even uknown was called op because he can hit you through objects some make him look here like new nurse or springtrap which few people called here “has no counterplay” or that he is new ghoul etc.

Every time new killer comes he gets hate in some degree, you will never do/create something that sill like everybody thats it.

  • @Memesis said:

Skill issue, you went down in the first place to the purest of m1 killers. With pallet density you have no excuse to be losing to trapper, hence why he needs buffs.

Facts, going against m1 killer and going down fast in this game state is on the survivor player.

M1 killers are one of easiest to loop, only two rules at the start when its trapper first dont go to main or shack if you have no idea where BASEMENT is (its usualy trapped strong loops like this because its expected survivors will try to loop you there) and srcond rule is DONT GO to the direction from which trapper came because he usualy se traps there so you chances are bad there.

Same goes for hag and that basement rule goes for more killers, some cant get it so they need to get burned a bit by bad experience to get it finally and then trapper becomes quite weak opponent.

If they were going to be toxic about getting the hatch, they were going to be toxic regardless.

I think this is a good point. Toxic players are going to be toxic - they don't need a reason because they'll make anything into their reason.

Its core of their personality being toxic so no wonder they are like that even when theres reason.

It like thinking crocodile tears mean something, no they dont they will still want to get you.

  • @Xendritch said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4104356#Comment_4104356

It also ramps up in speed very quickly so if the killer is in zealous and spaced correctly it seems not so easy to dodge especially if they send it in a slant or at least not a straight line. I'm not saying send it max range but slightly outside the TR it seems pretty effective and a lot more manageable than trying to 180 flick every shot short range which controller players just will not be able to do.

This killer unless they change it isnt for controller player base. Im on pc but from what I seen and heard I van clearly say trickster or xeno are much more viable for people playing on controller then she will be.

Like on some vloser range you have to do 180 which no other killer requires and hitbox of he attack is realy small compare to other killers with kind of simular power like artist. She has big potencial but will be stomped by her not being so viable inteality. Im not sure how big part of community is playing on controller but I would bet it will be around 1/2, majority are playing survivor but those playing killer well they can forget about her.

Its quite poetic isnt it, a killer created by community for the community to enjoy yet it wont be in reality so viable for big part of the community.

  • @Brimp said:

Did notice that the killers also had a red stain this time around too. Don't remember that being a thing back then.

Edit: There was but yeah used to be WAY darker. Now you got a giant sphere that prevents the fog from being there on your screen so it became more apparent.

They had actual I believe but now I would take it off and call it a day.

Thats why ghostface is strong there he can shut it off or mayers.

  • If survivors are bit competent its easy win like 3 gens can be done before first hook reliably if survivors think and spread and dont go down with WOO lantern in 10 seconds.

I get it was more killer sided but they overcooked it with buffs for survivors like:

    • starting with lantern that gives WOO aura read of resources and gives further clear distance view
    • survivors get 60 seconds of edurence after they are unhooked (so almost old off the record) but this endurence works the same once gates are powered aka endgame
    • survivors get 20% repair speed which should reduce gen repair time from 90 seconds to 72 seconds, huge buff
    • last survivors see aura of exit gates once they are powered (this effect isnt even viable in normal mode only through perks)

So looking at it yeah that number of buffs is huge, Im not even surprised some killers sweat when good team can cook you in 7 minutes or less. I see what devs wanted to do and I get it yeah it was good idea but like everything they always do they overdone it, overcooked with buffs to one side.

If DBD devs had restaurant the option to get rare or mid steak wouldnt be possible there because they would overcook them always.

  • Personaly I will do it, if I know hwere the last two survivors are and I downed one and have info on the last one I will go for it unless they were super chill team or looked like newer players. If they were sweating hard then no, my answer to your gameplay will be same sweat.

Idk whats that narative that killers are expected to be gentlemans of this game?? like why, why should killer always give second chance and be nice while other side totaly can crap on it.

For me if they werent sweating then I will give them chance. Now hatch offerings are hidden and more grant more for the one who runs them plus hatch being closed isnt end theres rng with gates and some gates are super survivor sided like on larrys or havkins while some are neutral and some are killer sided but thats map thing the key thing is theres always something some change for escape. You can get hatch, if it gets closed then theres ioption to open it with key or open exit gate and last option is give up to the killer and he might let you get out (putting item on the ground and crouching), many people forgot that last part and run around but like theres 40% chance killer will let you out if you didnt tbag him or did something like that or you were sabbo squad etc.

If I have no info on last survivor I finish him and go and try the luck because hatch is anomaly that doesnt favor any side always unless theres offering for it.

I enjoy it for the experience more than actually trying to get out, playing survivor can be terrifying haha

I've been lucky enough to get ghostface, unknown, chuckie

Fact is its closes where DBD got to the horror, total dark and then just maniac with chainsaw jumps on you around corner.

  • Like 20% gen speed why? Another change made by dev who barely touches the game and then endurence looks like 30 seconds or more which applyes in endgame which is beyond busted.

Again changes by devs that dont even play more then 3 hours per month are truly the luxury we can be glad to enjoy.

  • The problem with awakened awareness was that nurse could use exost perks for oneshots so that perk with starstruck on small map was problem on nurse but time passed with that problem and that perk stayes bad for no reason.

Just checked, they took out freddy? But kept jason and singularity, like what are we doing

Its more of because freddys dream world and their none existent intention of adjusting it to that specific mode, same as we wont ever see freddy in 2v8 we wont see him in compleatly dark mode.

Dreadges nightfall is just lights out thats why he is there but freddy is always in dream world which has very uniqu look.

  • Its kinda pointless when theres WOO effect added into the mode in full power the 32 meter radius which kills the thrill of the mode simulary as playing against doc or legion.

Legion finds you but when he hits you you can go and tun off and hide because he no longer sees you if it isnt open area and doc you can do it aswell because if I remember there arent scratch marks so tracking is harder especialy for killers like nemi who gives you speed boost and doesnt damage you.

Kinda shame that killers dont see progress bar of powers like hill billy saw which is bad at this point addind it wouldnt do much against this mode that is already broken by WOO effect (I would get like the five moves ahead read of 5 closest windows and pallets but all in 32 m radius totaly kills the mode like survibors will know where to run almost 24/7 because if lanterns will spawn as often as candles which did very often from what I remember then survivor will get one in two chest deffinitely).

Like it or not aura enjoyers but aura read should be limited in this mode thats like giving killer nowhere to hide or bbq basekit which is stupid, I get its hard to loop because you need to have memory of the loop spawns on that map so some form of help is good thing but full WOO effect dorty thats too much thsts like giving killers the perk effects I mentioned above and totaly shifts question on doctor and legion out of window because survivors will know where to run for safety so the info for the killers isnt that strong as it was previous lights out.

Thanks for reading it istead of pressing downvote istantly as some do here :)

it's probably because he can't backpedal at all. He must keep moving forward so I guess the haste makes up for that.

This, people forget he moves like 50% speed when moon walking and is predictiable on loops because his mind games are more soft.

If he could moon walk and backpedal with full 4,6 speed then even without the haste chucky would be literally good guy compare to him as wolf.

  • @Arcturus said:

Personally, Dracula is already top 5 killers in the game and I think that warrants a nerf, even if slightly. Out of the top 5 killers, I have the least problem with Dracula, and have suggested getting rid of haste from scent orbs every time. It's a slight nerf, but I still think it would make a difference. It would also encourage some of the Drac players that just use wolf form to actually use vampire form. I don't think he needs to be 4.4 with scent orbs making him 4.6 though, I remember people thought that felt pretty bad, and I also think getting haste for a few seconds, then not, then getting haste for a few seconds is just clunky and it also makes it difficult for survivors to gauge distance.

Wolf form was probably best when dash could slide and hug loops but they get rid of it fast.

He gets speed but now the progress to reach the dash is slower than before plus wolf form cant mind game with moon walk he must go straight almost every time just imagine wolf to moon walk by full 4,6 speed he would be god even without haste.

  • I will gladly give up haste from orbs just so his wolf form can moon walk at full speed like chucky so mind games can be done easily.

He would be way better then chucky due to this he could just play around rock like good dog and outplay even best players easily with it.

the third seal is a slept on perk that is a mainstay in my builds, its value just isnt overtly visible to you

Only against soloq, any swf form even duo has tools to break through it and thats why that perk isnt hat great.

Like 40% of survivors play in swf I believe duos the most of times and that makes this perk not so viable just ruin, blood favor, noed and other hex perks beat it but it not so bad perk kinda gold mid of hexes I would say (the third seal) it can be handy if survivors are in bad state like someone is sluged or hooked especialy multiple people but thats it if you dont have such great situation and you dont have pure soloq against you then this perk offers not that much.

Still not worst perk and worth of title of hex even after so long time.

  • First knock out has harder requirement and then knock out worked on every slug, second its totem so it can be destroyed and last thing is third seal is super rare to face because its not that equiped often.

  • Agreed spies are great info perk that survivors newer expect and counterforce gets through nasty hex build very easily just one perk to destroy whole perk build a perk some people totaly sleep on its even one perk choice in comp survivor builds for its power.

My guy it's a 2,35% chance to get the one perk and no one is forcing you to play the mode. No mither isn't even nerfing you completely, it makes you silent and forces to killer to not slug you.

Killers also have a chance to get the perk that makes pallet stuns longer and other then survivors killers have addons that make their powers worse 😂

I get it makes survivor being one shot so killer can have easy target but thats on that survivor to know if he can loop well or he will rather play more stealth like so killer has no easy down.

As you said its not worst perk it has huge downside but it makes 4 man slugging or just any slugging totaly useless so it vounters sluggers or twins and less sounds plus no blood counters spirit and helps with stealth so as you say its way more better as perk alone then dark arogance for killer (vecna perk you mentioned) which is only good for killer like mayers who vaults fast with his power and survivors more predrop or larry, still mayers has like two terrible addons which make him terrible the scratch mirror without the one that makes you 4,4 speed from base 4,2 in tier one is crap plus map when is open that terrible too or the addon that gives him 20 more seconds for tier 3 after hit but makes strike deal one health state of damage which is terrible tbh too.

There are worse perks then nomither, that perk has atleast some solid pros that can counter its cons sometimes but fact is vast majority of survivors cant play when they are injured they are stressed way more and panic more.

  • @QwQw said:

The literal point of the event is to randomize your perks, lol. If you don't like No Mither that's fine, but don't pretend like only survivors have crappy perks.

Not to mention killers have some crap perks too plus like half of the killers have addons that make their power worse then it is in basekit like billy, bubba having addon that makes chainsaws take one health state which kills their main purpose of having chainsaw, or mayers scratch mirror or that one that makes strike do do one health state of damage, etc.

They aren't garbage, as evidenced by them still being used nearly every match. And guess what they did when Ruin was at its peak strength? Slugged/tunneled. Guess what they did during OverBrine meta? Slugged/tunneled.

Because killer needs what? ……time and theres only few ways how to get it either by building preasure which is getting fast downs, hooks, sluggs or tunneling someone out to reduce effectiveness of survivors and build more preasure.

Or killer can get time by regressing/blocking gens and this is why these perks after many nerfs and some being just half of what they used to be still being meta because killer has no other perks to buy time then this option or some endgame perks but these are few and are riskier then regression perks.

Killer needs time to get survivors and pop or pain res, ruin, deadlock are perks that give you more time for getting survivors out of the game and keep preasure then aura, chase perks thats why they are still meta and are almost on every build even in comp part killers run them a lot even the ones like eruption which is perk that is mere shadow of what it used to be and still is used.

Thats why, simular as why survivors run antihook perks and exhaustion just to buy time for their team and last longer theres nothing complicated to think about here.

Seriously, I should be running Huntress Lullaby Doctor builds if skill checks are as hard as I've been informed here.

That works for good skill checks not great ones, doctor makes them harder to hit due to spawn location being different sometimes with his madness power.

Thing you miss is first og ruin was total noob stomper the biggest one in the entire game history you can do fine (or do gen with 0% progress by hitting greats if you dont make things up) but like the half of the survivor player base would be cooked and had to gen tap especialy with hex builds.

Now ruin slowly regresses gen but it did in stronger numbers before you made these complaints and better. Old ruin the og one means one good -5% of progress and missing great -10% or you had to gen tap which was very comfortable to do not to mention stoping regression now is harder (thank god) so you dont do it with gen tapping so bringing og ruin would destroy bigger half of the survivors you may think otherwise but I believe it would.

You doing well on skill checks is good for you but that doesnt mean all survivors do, old ruin was disgusting perk to go against and I hope perks like this so strong and passive wont be released in near future.

If youre playing against experienced survivors, old ruin did nothing. Do you need strong regression perks against inexperienced survivors?

Still did something uless they hit greats 99% still one miss was 5% regression so the percentage of survivors that made old ruin not so effective perk against them was super small.

Old ruin was probably one of strongest regression perks of all times and majority couldnt counter it by "being that good" meaning hitting almost every great skill check so they made whole strategy against it called gen tapping, may sound simular mainly for stopping regression before it got buffed for the killers meaning any regression makes 5% of progress for survivor to repair to stop it but long before it was mainly used to do gens with old ruin active.

Old ruin was strongest that perks ever was, then when it had 200% regression but after that they nerf it hard to 100% and ruin destroyed itself when someone died even when that survivor killed himself on the hook and the ruin got buffed to be useable again.

The nerfs were mostly to balance it and the biggest had only one purpose and that was to put ruin from meta which almost happened.

Anyone who played against old ruin will tell you how onoxious it was if they remember simular to old ds where you must dribble the obsession to get the hook because it was free escape with htat perk.

Edit: when doing only greats missing sometimes happens and back then the connection to server wasnt that good I would tell, missing skill check is 10% of progress now 9 seconds of time plus some extra since theres animation and short time where no progress builds up on gen which was another huge deal with old ruin now slap there doctor with harder skill checks and you had to either gen tap or go and destroy totem to do gens.

Plague! She'd make a good support Villain for any of the others while not being too OP herself… unless survivors start cleansing anyways.

I will tell you if devs have some game sence and learned with leagion especialy when they openly said 2v8 is meant to be more survivor sided mode. putting plague would be just legion who injures less but when he does its for very long time and just imagine the havoc she would cause there, either you cleanse or you are one shot and if you cleanse you make her better huntress (still red puke I would say beats 2v8 huntress) so I dont think it will happen and if does then she wont last there long compare to legion.
