Why are you complaining about the strongest killer just for being the strongest? Its not the killers fault we disnt get new killees or olders buffed to her level.
Blight nerfs alread proved anyways that nerfing her wouldnt benenough for most of the community. My estimate is that survivors would still cry if all current A tiers got nerfed.
I feel like every killer should aspire to be like old wesker, literally everybody liked him.
-
I think they need to take a solid break from adding back 2v8 24/7 and genuinely improve the game mode as a whole, maybe add 3-4 killers.
-
it's not hard to do a 360 every now and then.
-
I think the perk is fine, if you want value look around every 16 seconds its a very powerful perk as is.
-
8 zombies..
-
4.4 scratched mirror isn't very fun to go against imo, especially on indoor maps.
-
Shoulder the Burden
-
where are the comments about the curve window..?
-
Happened to me a few times
-
Basekit Billy is perfectly fine imo
-
iri stone basekit.
-
Kinda was hoping they nerf all of the meta perks then buffed a ton in exchange, but honestly I like the buffing every generic perk more.
-
I like it, it adds counterplay and fun strategies such as shift tech n such.
-
Lack of killers, or survivor classes.
-
Kinda disappointed by some of the survivor buffs ngl, but some of the perks definitely has potential
-
WoO was one of the best perks in the game used by all skill levels, anybody with half a brain can loop for ages with it. While yes it does help new players, I personally think 5MA will be better as new players are typically better at playing pallets from what I've seen. WoO will likely still be the dominant of the two though.
-
Dark Arrogance is going to be possibly my favorite perk for m1 killers.
-
Little disappointed that some buffs were just changing their T1 T2 numbers, which players will only use for 1-2 games before being able to level them up properly.
Aside from that Dark Arrogance unironically might be one of the best new chase perks especially on killers that can force the pallet predrop. Whispers seems like it could be really good on slower killers like GF who have trouble finding survivors, then they know to start stealthing now that people are in range. Monstrous Shrine could be extremely powerful on high tiers especially with something like Jagged Compass. Ravenous will probably be one of my favorite new perks.
-
Pretty glad WoO and Five Moves are getting minor nerfs, I genuinely hate playing against running to yellow and predropping. Aside from that I'm a little disappointed that some perks buffs were just increasing the numbers at lower levels.
-
Maybe tripwires that can be setup ahead of time that hinder survivors temporarily and possibly apply a unique status effect? Or it can place a nest where baby spiders will jump onto survivors giving them the status effect if they go near it. My guess it that it would be a chase based setup killer.
-
Yeah, Xeno feels significantly better in 1v4 I honestly expected more buffs in 2v8.
-
Typically people post videos of gameplay playing as an against the skin whether or not its pay to lose ect. TheMrHeadache actually just did a video on the xenomorph king cosmetic.

Console players exist btw, and are the largest population of players.
I only play console on controller, this killer is just as hard on console as they are on pc. They were most likely buffed due to the fact that their pick rate and kill rate are likely low due to the fact of how hard the killer is to pick up for people who don't play the game every day.

because they like killers lately no surprise only survivors stuff gets touched, sprint, vigil, endurance, deli lmao
Those perks have been meta for literal years, they needed to be nerfed imo some killer perks still need to be nerfed NTH was a good start though. Here's hoping the perk overhaul guts the meta builds.

Singularity overtuned? That's interesting…I disagree. I think the changes were fine and I am glad they added it so that survivors spawn over 30 meters away from the Killer. That was actually kinda insane to spawn right ontop of the killer.
Yeah bringing up Larry is a bit odd, spawn logic is still unfortunately bugged though where they won't always spawn in a group. (Even whenever the offering isn't brought)
@Topic
I have a solid bit of time on Judgment atm, and I genuinely do not know why they keep buffing this killer. She is extremely powerful and Zealous makes it near impossible to dodge her shots even before the changes. Now with the changes hitting her power is 10x easier, the curve should be at 0.5-0.6s as that seems to be the sweet spot. With 0.8s hitting power is genuinely so much easier I don't know if they heard the complaints about how hard she is to learn and decided to give her compensation buffs..? But now literally anyone competent with the killer can get into Zealous way easier with the new curve window, then they can proceed to stay in Zealous and get free hits since its near impossible to dodge a curve of 0.8s that goes through walls.
Honestly hope they revert these changes as she was already an incredibly strong killer, and now she sucks even more to play against whenever you're facing someone who has more than two brain cells.

2 seems like it would only help swfs attempting to bodyblock, won't really affect solos. Aside from that still completely agree with these changes.

Hi DbD Team,
I am writing to express how much I appreciate your ongoing work on Dead by Daylight. The Halloween chapter featuring Michael Myers (The Shape) and Laurie Strode holds a truly iconic place in the game’s history and identity.
I understand that licensing agreements are complex and that the recent expiration of the Halloween license was outside your direct control. However, I want to strongly encourage the team to consider renegotiating with the rights holders (Miramax / Trancas) to bring the DLC back to the in-game store for new players.
We saw how amazing it was when the Stranger Things chapter made its triumphant return thanks to community passion and your team's hard work. Bringing The Shape back to the Fog would mean the world to many fans who missed out on purchasing him earlier.
Thank you for your time, dedication, and for bringing these horror legends to life!
Best regards!

Hello BHVR team,
I know the Halloween license situation is complicated and that, as Mandy said recently, it is unfortunately “out of our control.” I completely understand that there are legal and licensing matters involved, and I am not asking for something that may simply be impossible right now.
However, I would like to respectfully ask BHVR to consider trying to bring the Halloween Chapter back to Dead by Daylight if an opportunity to renegotiate the license becomes available in the future.
Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are not just another licensed collaboration. Halloween was the first major horror-film license to enter Dead by Daylight in 2016, and it helped establish the identity that DBD has today. The chapter has a unique place in the game's history.
For newer players, the removal is especially disappointing. Many of us discovered Dead by Daylight years after the original chapter was released and never had the opportunity to purchase The Shape, Laurie, their cosmetics, or experience Haddonfield as part of the original chapter.
I also think there is still a strong community interest in seeing them return. There are already multiple discussions from players asking for the Halloween Chapter to come back, and the recent community response shows that Michael and Laurie still mean a lot to DBD players.
The return of Stranger Things also showed that a licensed chapter leaving the game does not necessarily have to mean that it is gone forever. If circumstances ever allow another agreement with the rights holders, I hope BHVR will consider pursuing that opportunity.
I am not asking BHVR to break any agreements or reveal confidential licensing information. I simply hope that, if the door ever opens again, the team will try.
Michael Myers belongs in Dead by Daylight.
Thank you for everything you have done with the Halloween Chapter since 2016, and thank you for listening to the community.
#BringBackMyers
#BringBackHalloweenThey quite literally do not have the legal rights for the characters anymore. My guess is once the Halloween hype dies down an attempt to regain the license will be made, or it will be like Stranger Things where once it begins to get hype again the license will return.

I mainly play m1 killers have about a 60/40 ratio on killer/survivor so hopefully this isn't considered bias.
Sprint Burst is still an amazing perk! It just no longer rewards you for doing nothing, I feel like after the nerf I saw a lot of the players who don't know how to use it properly stopped running it yet I still see people who are really good at the game get tons of value during my killer games. I myself have been running it with fixated and its still very strong, you just have to think a little more rather than a stealth killer sneaking up on you and getting 15s of distance.
I definitely don't think this perk got nerfed because of m1 killers, moreso because it is widely regarded as a top 3 perk if not the best perk in the game and eventually we should want to get to a point where all meta perks are no longer game breaking. So its a welcome change for me.
Plus there's still the skill required of 99ing a Sprint Burst mid chase, and you get plenty of value from that.
Edit: yes I see more m1 killers.

but a medkit is only a 33% reduction. you already shouldnt be self healing very often because its time inefficient and you are likely hurting your team by doing so, encouraging people to double their time and more often doesnt sound good to me. just run self care if you want to spend a bunch of time in the match achieving nothing which is what the issue this looks like it would generate if people use this for self healing reasons.
Depends on the killer, but most of the time adding an extra 45-60s to chase is typically pretty worth it.
-
@HexSlugged said:
im not sure a plus 20% (is this separate to the medkit or an addon for it) healing boost addon with 3 uses is balanced enough. as a standalone item, i dont know the numbers and math on healing but it doesnt sound to be worth running over a medkit. am i misunderstanding?
It seems to be a better medkit since it gives 3 self heals rather than 1-2
-
I don't want the game to continue to become more braindead, if you want to have an easier time playing bring perks or items to help you.
Note: maps exist.

I've said it before but killer perk that annoys me is Friends Til the End, mostly because I've been caught out by it a few times.
Survivor perk that annoys me the most is probably Finesse because it's always the most cocky ones using it
Friends is luckily super easy to counter, if you hide in a locker you can completely counter Friends you won't scream so it won't transfer to you, and if you're in there for 10s your aura will not be shown. Fun fact: if all survivors are hiding in a locker when the obsession is killed it won't tranfer.
-
Three words. Human. Sized. Ewoks.
-
Likely won't last a year, aside from that it seems fun and/or interesting. However if you expect it to be like Dead by Daylight you will be very disappointed as they only thing they have in common is that they're horror asyms.
-
For survivors: Fallen Refuge
For killers: Badham
For both sides: Swamp
-
Agreed, but as long as you're close enough to the window it should prioritize the vault to my knowledge.

I think this idea has merit, maybe once you have done 30% worth of a gen then it's like a compromised gen (like how you referenced Help Wanted and Machine Learning), where whenever that gen pops you get the bonus? It could still obviously activate off of finishing the gen, I think it would be dumb if it didn't. Because as it is, even if the idea of it activating off any generator popping is overpowered, OP is right that the perk is pretty weak. I ran it for I think 6 games or so with an entire build around it, I think I only got value once even when I was trying my best to force it, and even then it was only the 3rd generator so it didn't make a huge difference.
I think 40% of a generator should be good enough.
-
I don't see how people wouldn't like these changes, they benefit both sides and don't seem abusable.

I don't think there's any killer perks that annoy me. Survivor perks, probably just Boil Over on indoor maps. Hate getting stuck in doorways.
If you didn't know this, while your being pushed left or right by Boil Over you can just turn your screen in the opposite direction so it pushes you forward instead of into doorways.
Killer perks I hate: Enduring, it feels really bad to get the stun then proceed to get zero value. Or anything that grants free hits in bad spots such as Blood Favor.
Survivor perks I hate: anything that rewards survivors for dying It's incredibly annoying trying to split hooks and you have the unhooked survivor following directly behind the other with OTR, DS, DH, ect. Then proceed have no way of punishing it without losing a generator.
-
I had an amazing first few days where I was getting matches against and with competent players around my skill level. Now I'm unfortunately just stomping brand new players.

Pyramid Head has already been powercrept by Dracula and with PH's last rework he just fell down to the B tier, hard.
Aside having similar Exile/Cage mechanic I cannot say they overlap that much in terms of core power. PH is a zoning mid-range killer and Judgement is pure range killer, in contrast to PH vs Dracula's hellfire comparisons.
One being better than other isn't an issue considering how different they are, still, some buffs to PH would be welcome.
Yeah kinda sucks how they took 3 of the best chase powers in the game, slightly nerfed them and put them on a killer.
-
I wouldn't mind this as currently Dark Theory + MFT only gives 4% haste. A different suggestion would be any thing under 5% is no longer affected by diminishing returns.

still, button by itself looks bad
I don't mind it, its easier for me to see the words on my TV
-
I haven't liked a chapter on both sides since Springtrap, so I'd say this is a win.
-
it's a bug
-
I have a lot of hours on PH and about 10 hours on Judgment
PH is significantly stronger than Judgment in chase, as it is incredibly hard to dodge a good PH. Judgment has stronger map pressure. That's about the only differences I notice, would be nice if they made torment on power hit a thing.

Reason why I don't think they will ever add a spider killer that looks way too much like real spider if any that type at all.
They said they wouldn't add a Clown, you never know.
-
No Mither and Dead Hard are both very strong perks when used properly, they do not need buffed.
-
Agreed, the first 3-4 days my matches were consistently against and with players around my skill level. As of recent I've been going against people who are significantly worse than me such as consistently getting games with people who have 200 hours while I have 3000.. Matches are still fun though, I haven't noticed much hard tunneling or sweaty swfs.

It's even in the Gameplay Showcase stating that the power does not go uphill.
Right.. During that time it didn't go uphill so why would it say it did? That didn't respond to anything I stated in any way, you just made a random statement.
