We are not the only online pvp game with a constant rotation of players (many of whom return not just new). The vast majority of ALL online pvp games consist of casual players who don't care about hard numbers and are just there to screw around and log off. Go look at the rank distributions in these games and you will see the same thing over and over again, an imperfect normal distribution that extends to the right (with astronomically small numbers of players at that top end). There is no reason those games would have that and DbD wouldn't. Someone could learn to crouch Billy's chainsaw on the first day they play. Being a casual player doesn't automatically make you bad, you might only play every so often but even doing that you could be weirdly good at it.

Besides, if survivors have an inverted yield curve and killers are normally distributed you are still arguing that survivor is harder to play and learn. An inverted yield curve would suggest that survivor has a near insurmountable learning curve, otherwise you wouldn't end up with the vast majority of your players at the lowest possible skill level. If you are instead arguing that both sides have an inverted yield curve you need to stop solely lambasting survivors for being bad and start actually caring about the killers skill and saying the same about them.

Except DBD isn't really like any other PvP game. Most people even if they don't know the math behind things can understand the point gun at the other team and shoot concept of most other PvP games. DBD is a bit more obtuse since looping is never explained to you even in the tutorial and only very recently did we get an in game resource for learning killer powers. Like nobody is learning to duck a chainsaw their first day unless told by a friend because that isn't intuitive.

I said absolutely nothing about killer skill in my post so weird to try and make it about that but if I had to think about it I don't think they would go all on one curve because killers are all different and they would all have different curves. Like it's a lot easier to be good at Ghoul than it is to be good at Hag so they would have completely different curves.

Lastly I'd say I care about survivor skill more than killer skill because it effects me more. If a killer is bad I get an easier game and I'm kinda fine with that. If a survivor is bad that screws me because my chance to escape goes down so of course I'm gonna care about that way more.

  • You're way overthinking it. The average survivor is bad because 1. Constant rotation of new players coming into the game and 2. The vast majority of players only interact with the game casually, most don't care to know hard numbers behind things or the weird ways killer powers or survivor perks interact with things. They wanna screw around with their friends for a little while and then log off.

I doubt survivor skill level would be a bell curve I would imagine it looks a lot more like an inverted yield curve where most survivors don't know that much or don't care to and then as it curves downward you have the very low number of experienced and competitive survivors that know all the numbers behind killer cool downs and obtuse mechanics like knowing to crouch Billy's chainsaw to make their hitbox smaller.

  • I'm on discord a lot but it's not really suited for in depth discussions and I have no desire to join the official server when I'm already in other DBD related servers with my friends.

And why was that survivor able to just sit and hold m1 on a generator the whole match? Because the killer never bothered to pressure them off it or chase them in any way. You are refusing to correctly identify why the survivor was able to do that. Survivors need to understand killer powers, loops, and macro if they want to survive against a skilled killer. This is not a one sided thing and treating it as such is ridiculous.

Sometimes the killer just finds the 3 other people repeatedly like it's really not uncommon to not see the 4th survivor until one of the survivors are dead. I'm not refusing to identify anything that's just how killer works sometimes.

Of course I can beat a bad killer without thinking (and the number of spirits I see in 2v8 hardly using their phase really drives the point home every time) but the moment its a skilled killer I need everything and if the other survivors don't lock in as well we all lose. As killer, I can absolutely beat bad survivors without thinking but once again the moment they are skilled I need to lock in. Both sides have to put thought in if they want to beat skilled opponents, you are just too biased to admit that. This discussion is inherently tied to the skill of the players in question.

And in your example, the survivor did a generator, whether you like it or not that isn't nothing its essential to the survivors escaping.

If you think holding m1 on a gen is equal to knowing how to use your killer power + understanding loops + understanding macro then I don't think we're ever going to agree what counts as thought and effort.

The killer becomes much more powerful in a 3v1. It's why tunneling is the most commonly used strategy. If the killer lost a match where one of the four survivors was in fact doing nothing then the killer suck at the game, at the very least in comparison to the survivors in that match (nothing wrong with being bad or learning by the way, but lets be realistic about their skill). There is no holding up slack for a bad teammate, there is no carrying a team, weak links get tunneled and then the rest of the survivors die. Your statement proves how much more leeway for skill you are willing to give killers over survivors.

Ratting for hatch can let them do nothing but the survivors don't win that match, the killer won and that survivor doomed their team for the pity floor door.

I have literally seen it with my own eyes there is no theoretical argument to be made. A survivor can do maybe one gen and not munch else and escape, you can say "well the killer just sucked then" which yeah sure but that wasn't the discussion being had it was about which side has to put in more thought in order to win more often.

Anyone still claiming that survivors can play brain off and be successful is lying to themself. How often do we have people complaining about "brainless" teammates losing the survivors the game. How often do we hear that doing this or that without thinking gets survivors killed. Then they turn around and claim survivors can win without thinking? The reality is that this game has become too competitive and too sweaty for either side to expect success playing that way. There is plenty of information survivors need to keep track of if they want to win and they don't get any of it basekit.

Mechanical simplicity doesn't mean a lack of depth, DbD is popular in large part because those simple mechanics lead to such depth, a day to learn the absolute basics, ages to master, its why so many people consider you a "baby" until you have 1k hours.

I have literally seen survivors do nothing all game and escape, it's unserious to think killers can get away with anything similar to that. Again not complaining survivor has no depth not saying survivors never have to think but it's an absolute fact survivors can get away with doing way less if their teammates pull the slack which is a luxury killer does not have.

Having spent over a dozen hours playing as the Judgement, I'm confident a numbers adjustment is not the reason this Killer has been overperforming. …but if your arguement is to wait and see, okay. Lets do that. We can all shut up and watch as the Judgement is rendered unplayable because the concerns of the community were not heard.

…regarding your last comment, I was pondering your ideology more broadly—you sound as though you believe Killer players put more effort into the game than Survivors. Understanding your perspective would help explain why you feel Judgement players have earned their victories (and why Survivors have not).

I mean yes killers in general can't afford to play brain off (except you're ghoul) because they're alone and have way more to keep track of, 4 survivors and 7 gens on the map and they have to weigh if taking a chase is worth, if they need drop chase how to use their power and when it's all a lot to keep track of (unless you're ghoul) so yes in general killers I believe have to put more thought in than survivors who have teammates who can take pressure off them and is a role that in general is less mechanically involved.

Not to say survivors don't need to think at all they absolutely do and I wish more survivors would but survivors can get away with not thinking more than killers can speaking broadly.

    That's not a counterpoint.

Yes, it is fair and it is necessary to rebalance a Killer who is consistently overperforming against the typical Survivor.
The Killer in question is not "mostly balanced" if they are overperforming.

This is a live service game. If survivors ever "put in even a modicum of thought or effort into a game" then the Killer in question can be rebalanced accordingly.

Unless Killer players have delusions of grandeur, they would recognize the balance changes as necessary.

…I wonder, do you believe that Killers always "put in even a mocidum of thought or effort?" Are they not also the benefactors of balancing for those who cannot or will not?

But they weren't over performing until the latest round of buffs which are now reverted. So what do you do when the numbers are fine but survivors want nerfs anyway because they hate the very idea of the killer?

Also accusing Judgment players of not having to think is the worst route you could go cuz you have to think trying to aim the beam up close otherwise you're never hitting anyone.

I'm sure every great solo Survivor finds their teammates go down pretty fast against Killers they can loop for a long time.

If "everyone else" in your games are going down pretty fast, why should balance changes be made around thee? You are 1 and they are 3.

Is it reasonable for a player with hundreds, if not thousands, of hours to ask those with less to "get on my level?"
Is it not more reasonable to look at the typical experience of players and ask the developers to "meet them at their level?"

Counterpoint is it fair to killer players to have a killer that is otherwise mostly balanced nerfed just because your average survivor doesn't wanna put in even a modicum of thought or effort into a game?

And how was the judgment playing? I'm convinced people wouldn't admit a killer played poorly under any circumstances. Either that or they are just giving them far more leeway than they are willing to extend to survivors.

Everyone else went down pretty fast (I had to get hatch) which isn't uncommon for my games against Judgement so I believe people when they say they're struggling against Judgement I just think it's mostly a skill issue and instead of trying to learn they complain.

And rightly so! The game should be enjoyable for everyone not just a few.

Ironically I got Judgement this morning, once again only went down once. I'm fully convinced a survivors playing with their brain off issue.

BHVR just stated that the kill rates skyrocketed with the last change, and that the Judgment is a "growing issue". I am sure there is a way to spin that to align with "not that bad", and "don't know how people struggle against her", though. Go on, have a go.

Let's not pretend y'all weren't complaining before that and will continue to complain in the future after the revert.

  • I still don't know how people struggle against her, saw her for the first time in over a week last night and didn't go down once. Like as long as you play safe and don't greed anything and keep in mind what perks she's most likely running she really isn't that bad.

Then up close if you just keep your pathing unpredictable she can't hit you.

  • They have a concept down on paper as of a month ago, no idea when we see more information on it.

  • So the doctor thing is already live it only requires 4-5 stacks of STBFL. It's been one of the best things about STBFL since it got introduced.

The clown build is the most egregious but again you can kinda already do this with STBFL + Rapid Brutality + Intoxicating a survivor right before you hit them.

That said 1.2 second cooldown is probably a little egregious even if it takes a bit to achieve it. At the same time I love how much the new basic attack speed perk buffs helps weaker m1 killers so I don't want it just gone.

Maybe something like Dark Arrogance only works on successful hits and pallets stuns up to 50% longer? Cuz yes the effect is strong enough to warrant that and you can always put on enduring. Alternatively BHVR is entirely capable of hard capping how much you can buff something like I'm pretty sure you can't get heal speed past 200% so maybe they could do that where basic attack recovery caps at 45 or 50%?

  • I have no clue how you get stakeout as trash when you get to just obliterate 16% of a gen if you're good at hitting skill checks, perk is scary now. I also don't know how the Windows change is a nerf if you're a good player. Vault speed is extremely valuable and if you can make sure you have a pallet to vault for finesse and just alternate cool downs the killer is going to have a tough time catching you so I see it as a buff.

Slippery Meat again is a subtle effect but is honestly pretty good it basically means the killer can't really stop a person from unhooking you. I would like to see the speed buff go to 10% because of DR the current buff is really 2.5% so I'd like to actually get the 5% extra speed.

Also different issue but no clue how you categorized some of these killer buffs like insidious is still mostly a meme (I promise you killers don't wanna play red light green light for some stealth) and you're heavily underestimating how insane Dark Arrogance is now. Just having 5 stacks of STBFL at all times is nuts when you can stack it with actual STBFL and Rapid Brutality for effectively a max of 14 stacks of STBFL.

I will say I would've liked for BHVR to explore more survivor playstyles with this patch since vault speed is really the only new build that comes from this otherwise it's small boon buffs, small chest buffs (which are a meme anyway), and skill check builds which I think are good now but not particularly exciting to me.

  • uuhhhhh, how is this not the best gen regression perk in the game now?

  • Can anybody clarify for me how Help Wanted works now? Is it you get Ruin for two minutes or is it a one time event when the gen pops?

  • Ironically Windows is worse for newer players but stronger for vets. 10% vault speed is significant and if you're good you might be able to use it twice in a chase so I don't really see it as a nerf.

  • I feel like Shoulder only needed one of it's changes instead of destroying the perk entirely. It was game changing sure but I also barely ever saw it and it was legitimately good anti tunnel.

I don't mind the fma windows changes cuz they overlapped a little too much but windows probably needs a small secondary effect cuz learning vault locations is a lot easier that knowing exactly where pallets spawned.

    whispers getting a nerf ?
    who uses whispers nowadays ??

No whispers as in I've heard things not the perk

  • What we know so far

-A lot of generic perks are being changed to be more viable

    -Thrill is being reworked

-I've heard whispers Shoulder the Burden is getting a nerf of some kind but this isn't confirmed

  • Blindness while charging blink and bring back lightburn, it made sense to get rid of it for wraith but it should have been kept for nurse.

  • Besides the obvious one being Plague I'll say Hag, her playstyle is way too slow and there are so many gens that setting a web isn't going to be very effective she just doesn't work for a mode this fast paced. Not to mention I can't imagine her being a very effective teammate like "okay I'm gonna setup a web you go keep the 8 other people in this game busy while I do that" just sounds like griefing.

  • He's an area control killer with solid chase. You can just pod as you chase but you get better long term value if you pick a gen dense area to set up pods and lock it down. You want 2 pods per gen that aren't in EMP range of one another and usually 1 or 2 in the main area. Overclock let's you greed pallets in chase and only teleport for distance.

  • Yeah it was pretty obvious it was there to slow the game down. I haven't done it once because doing gens is just better especially after they you know, buffed the gen class.

  • It kinda feels like they're going back on them saying they're okay with Judgement being niche, Judgement was already fine so this is just going to make her more accessible to more people and a little silly in the hands of people already good with her.

I'd leave the exile and base form change but maybe put zealous back to 0.6s.

  • I want to love them, when they were announced it was my most wanted license and I was so happy but then we got them and….idk they just felt very basic. I was disappointed and kinda shocked there were no facehuggers anywhere in the power and I felt Xeno was kinda devoid of identity. A huge part of Alien is evolution and it being the pinnacle lifeform in the universe but the Xeno we got is someone taught it tail whip and it's weak the fire soooo we got a pokemon and not a particularly good one. People make comparisons to Nemesis and I actually would have been fine with that if we took the different stages/power up part of his power and not the whip.

  • I mostly agree with this but disagree vehemently survivors aren't entitled to good teammates or at least teammates around their skill level. That's the entire point of having MMR and SBMM and that is actually very important to make sure happens because the way the game works the killer only needs to find one weak player to make it a 3v1 so if you have 3 cracked survivors and 1 weak survivor that 1 weak survivor is gonna drag the other 3 way down.

  • Tbf Ghoul is partially an m1 killer because the second hit has to be an m1. Tbh I don't think you meant m1 killers because plenty of m1 killers are very strong like Singularity, Spirit, and to a lesser extent Clown.

I think what you meant was weaker killers and it's kinda silly to think nerfing one perk would make them viable.

The same way you respond to animation locks at huntress??? Wind up and then shoot?

Once again come prove this to me in a custom, or with video evidence. But you can't and guarantee you'll ignore this conversation as soon as you're asked to provide evidence?

You tell me how .9 seconds of charging a hatchet which goes in a straight line is the same thing as charging a beam which moves by the way as you charge it but a beam that takes 1 second and then has a delay before it starts moving if you cast it asap and a delay on the active hitbox. This is actually comical.

Anytime someone is animation locked against judgement it's also a free hit??? Except at literally ANY RANGE AND THROUGH ANY WALLS, that is failing argument right there as judgement is flat better against animation locks. You've CLEARLY never played against a half decent survivor player if you think that they'll just let you walk right up to them and hatchet them in the open. And OFCOURSE you aren't firing it blind as huntress because it would NEVER HIT THEN, HER HATCHETS DO NOT GO THROUGH WALLS BUT JUDGEMENTS SHOTS DO, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP BETTER FOR JUDGEMENT????? This is the problem with the forums NO ONE has any idea how the game is played at a semi decent level here.

Except how are you responding to animation locks in time as Judgement? You say all these things but then you don't know how basic functions of how the killer works. Makes it really hard to take anything you say seriously.

The problem is that we have no idea how much the individual score is weighted for survivor MMR vs how much is weighted based on escaping/not escaping. It could be very minimal for all we know. Even if individual performance is a significant factor in MMR, the garbage matchmaking system that gives up after 5 seconds because short queue times are prioritized so heavily is still in place, so we still have the same problem where MMR doesn’t seem to matter anyway.

Absolutely like I almost always score high and I'm willing to bet my escape rate is higher than average too going by the number just released not that long ago and yet I long onto today and this is in my first survivor game.

    Screenshot (97).png

Like I'm sorry but unless they're a good player that just wanted to troll for a game (which I doubt because they DC'd after their first chase) I refuse to believe me and this person is anywhere near the same MMR bracket.

  • Why would survivors not just rat the first 3 or so minutes of the game and say they still get the gens done in 4 minutes how do you stop them from all building crows if they can't leave and they have nothing else to do?

  • Easily my favorite chapter since All Things Wicked. Judgement is easily my favorite killer and while Aurora wasn't my preferred choice for survivor I can't deny she fits the chapter very very well and both got terrific voice acting.

I wish the survivor perks were a little better if anything that would be my one knock against it is they're a bit weak.

  • @Withered8 said:

Pyramid head's attack only goes up or down VERY SPECIFIC elevation points like basement stairs. It's still unreliable at elevation and doesn't work properly around it. Judgement literally doesn't care about elevation and his attack is about 10 times better.

You don't seriously think a huntress hatchet is easier to hit against a GOOD player than a judgement beam do you?

I do think Huntress Hatchet is easier to hit close up because you're not firing it blind half the time and any time they're animation locked it's a free hit.

  • My killer games have started to feel okay, don't feel like I'm slaughtering 50 hour survivors anymore and they all seem to know what they're doing at least a little bit.

Survivor is still a mess for some reason. soloQ is borderline unplayable and I'm hoping if I just outscore my teammates enough times I'll get put in the right lobbies but gods is it unbearable and slow. Seriously considering putting killer down for a while so I can actually iron out my survivor MMR.

Uhhh how do you chase people at 110? Idk maybe using ur RANGED ABILITY LIKE EVERY OTHER RANGED KILLER DOES? Have you even thought through this statement?

The main counterplay to deathslinger and pyramid head in chase is not dodging because their abilities are insanely hard to dodge. It's using obstacles that death slinger can't shoot through, abusing range limits that judgement does not have, abusing their significantly longer cooldowns and punishments than judgement, abusing elevant against pyramid head, abusing the fact that a pyramid head shot travels many times slower than judgements.

How do you manage to constantly say so many wrong things? Executioner got patched so the ability goes uphill now for one and using Judgement's ability in loops is not easy, you have to take your eyes of the survivor then attempt to line up a shot and readjust in a very small time window often times you don't even see the survivor you just have to guess/estimate where they are. Absolutely no clue why we're acting like hitting a beam in a loop is like hitting artist crows in a loop or a huntress hatchet it's much harder than that.

If it was the furthest 2 statues, then just like PH. Caging/exiling 90% of the time would be a bad play to do. Any regular PH players do not cage on demand for that exact reason just like no Judgement player exiles 2+ players simulteanously for the exact same reason. It's killing your own pressure and macro play.

Zealous is not worth: exile → 2 seconds later unhook. Just like for PH, caging when you are not in a great position is a misplay because most of the time it's just a free unhook for the survivor team

Nah after the curve buff Zealous is now very worth it as you can use your power in loops much easier.

I will tell you the specific aura perks that are unfair and makes your "reset in corner" thing nonsense. celestial witness + nemesis + lethal combo easily have too much info every less than 30s. You reset in corner they read your aura for 10s suddenly and you have no where to go before they zone you because you said yourself you are in a corner. And this perk set is not rare, 95% my matches against judgement they have these three with another random aura perk mostly gearhead and with 100% aura add-on. They only need to get 1 down then the snowball is crazy. Exile with instant aura reading of all three and buffed power, then the aura reading won't stop and the pressure is high as hell when 2-3 injured because surv only know when nemesis activated, they don't know when celestial witness and the other aura perk activated. unless you have a stopwatch and you count every exact 30 seconds when playing the game. I will agree with your beam is hard to use thing, but this is a skill issue and people will eventually get better with the beam. I don't think hard to use = not broken

So the nemesis combo means you know when Judgment can see you which means your awareness should be way up whenever you become the obsession. I do think it triggers a little too often but that's an issue with perks not Judgement and I don't think Judgement is even the best user of the combo like I think it's way more disgusting on Nurse, Blight Billy. You probably hit celestial witness over nemesis I think if you hit anything cuz I think that's the enabler but we'll need more data to see how problematic it really is but it does seem strong on not just Judgement.

Gearhead is good on Judgement but you first need to get an injure and then you need a survivor to hit a good skill check and then you have to hope they don't dodge when you aim at them and then you have hope they're greedy enough to work on the gen injured. I feel like that's enough conditions that's fine.

Idk what "100% aura add-on" means unless you mean they run an aura add on 100% of the time which I think is what you mean. Which personally I don't I usually run some combination of Electric Torch/Crown of the Destroyer/Order of Inquisition/Mark of the Adherant because I put a lot more value on making the beam harder to dodge than auras because good survivors are really catching onto how to dodge the beam. That being said I'm not gonna say the aura read add-ons are bad, I think the trade off for the blindfold of it has to be the person with the least amount of hook states is okay but 7 seconds with lethal is probably a bit too long, could see this being lowered to 3 seconds without causing an uproar. Teleceptor is good I will run it on occasion but it does have the trade off of giving the survivors object on all your aura reading not just that add on, I really don't think the add on is a problem because you're giving the survivor the ability to see you and react.

tl;dr- I could see Blindfold and Celestial Witness getting nerfed but I think Gearhead and Teleceptor have enough trade offs that they're fair.

Like I already said multiple times. It ignores pallets/windows/tiles which are fundamental mechanism of this game. It penetrates through walls and multi level with a 60m radius. It has some bullshit aura reading add-ons. The strongest build is 4 aura perk+aura add-on which can't be countered by survivors, don't tell me distortion and shadowstep, distortion is garb perk now and shadowstep covers small area and you can't get into it before the exile because exile takes only 1 sec and most likely won't cover random aura reading suddenly. Also the exile is at the two closest shrine which makes killer very easy to zone and camp. No anti-tunnel after unexile and spawn on killer's face and insta tunneled out. The only thing you are defending it's not overpowered is "beam is hard to use", but that sounds like a skill issue and this killer just launched. Imagine when people's skill controlling it gets better.

See this just sounds like you haven't actually played the killer very much. Because the beam is hard to use up close, not useable but very difficult if the survivor actually has a brain and makes their movement unpredictable. The beam only has a width of 3m and survivors have a movement speed of 4m/s so not only do you have to line the beam up correctly but you have to be dead on enough to not give them time to dodge. Also Distortion and Shadowstep are a nuisance if survivors are smart and reset in some corner because as a 110 killer with no mobility you can't really afford to patrol the whole map.

Also as I've said Judgement is hardly the first killer to ignore DBD fundamentals and I don't think she's even the strongest killer to do that. Nurse is definitely stronger and I think jury is still out on if Judgment or Henry is stronger.

The shrine thing I've said earlier in the thread I agree with and should be changed. Way too easy to tunnel on Judgement atm.

The aura thing I'm done responding to until someone tells me which specific aura perks are unfair because they all have trade offs I've never seen a single person acknowledge.

And again I must ask if Judgment is so broken why has she dropped off so hard since release and why is her kill rate at least according to nightlight not particularly high? Because she's in the low to mid 50s and I remember Jason's kill rate being in the high 60s on release.

  • Better yet run them together why get big regression on one gen when you can get big regression on two gens?

BHVR's design is always cool? What about first version skull merchant, it is a playstyle of BHVR's mind? The forum exists because we need to express opinion, you are saying" it's not the whole map, it's 60m half the map" which you helped me prove it is overpowered. And you are saying "you need to not be paying attention to get hit long range" I will only say you never played survivor against this killer

I have played survivor many times against this killer and I loop them for multiple gens every game because I actually understand how they work. I'm not saying I never get hit on a gen especially on indoor maps but I will say I never get downed by a snipe because working on a gen injured against this killer is a horrible idea. More often than not though when I do go down they have to hook me because the beam never hits me.

And yes sometimes BHVR fumbles like with original Skull Merchant however sometimes the community way over reacts... like with Skull Merchant 2.0.

Also saying it covers half the map doesn't prove it's over powered you're just saying words now. Actually explain how it's over powered.

What do you mean i want the killer not able to do anything? He still can snipe the whole map, just not able to insta damage from insanely long distance while reading auras, do you think that's reasonable playstyle?? Executioner's power has a distance of 10m, 10c charges with a -1c rate when charging, +0.25c when recovering, -2c when depleted meaning you don't have unlimited attempts and takes 40s to fully recover. Judgement has a distance of at least 50m and no charges. Artist's first crow is not damagable, judgement's first beam is damagable. Henry is the only one you mentioned that ignores pallets/windows/tiles. But he needs 2 hits to get into a mode that can injure survivors, and this mode will expire in 50s afrer the clock and the range is 15 metres max, not 50 metres. Why are you not looking at these facts and say people complaining are unserious?

It's not the whole map though, it's 60m so about half the map on average and yes I do think that's a reasonable playstyle for the killer because I think it's very clear BHVR designed the killer with that playstyle in mind. And yes all those other killers do have other disadvantages and advantages that warrant the different speeds but that's why Judgement is only 110. And yes it is completely unserious to make Judgement unable to chase when the beam is incredibly difficult to use close range and the survivors have to basically not be paying attention to get hit long range while sitting on a gen.

You would think if Judgment is so overpowered and easy you'd be seeing her every game, when Jason came out he was the only killer you would see for weeks. Most people have already dropped Judgment so maybe just maybe these claims are completely overblown.

The last killer ignores all pallets/windows/tiles is Nurse, so judgement should have movement speed as 3.8 not 4.4, and it shouldn't be reading auras when charging the beam, and it shouldn't insta damage with the first hit, the first hit should only give the heresy effect not damage

So you want the killer to just not be able to do anything? Also Executioner can do that and it 115 Artist can do that and is 115, Henry can do that and is 110 but has a movement ability. I swear the people complaining about Judgement are so unserious.

  • I agree with the second part about the shrines for sure, a lot of survivors arn't smart about freeing from exile and it's leading to a lot of easy tunneling especially if the Judgement knows the general area of the shrines. Either make it the farthest shrines or make it so Judgement can't see which shrines are active.

The aura reading I don't think I really agree with. We have aura hiding in shadowstep and distortion and which aura perks are getting you? A lot of survivors have wizened up to nurses and don't heal in the TR anymore. Gearhead requires you to actually get hits to go off in the first place and then doesn't do anything if the survivor gets no skill checks or hits greats. BBQ isn't run on them, Deerstalker means you see her too, Celestial Witness doesn't actually give you aura reading half the time unless you run it with nemesis which means you know when she sees you. Like which aura reading is unfair on her exactly?

You clearly represent the 0.1% of the player base that is just cracked at the game. Normal players with average skill just aren't made for this, and don't enjoy it either. Then the same average players but on the killer side can just take the never ending easy wins.

But the damage is already done I think, there is no going back for DbD now.

What about anything I described requires high skill? It's hear the noise get off the gen and don't work on gens injured that's not high skill just patience and playing safe.

You wanna throw a tantrum about a killer then when told your told the counterplay that's fairly simple to do you just throw your hands up and say it's impossible when it's very obviously not. This is why people don't take the complaints seriously because there's no desire to learn only to complain.
