"Why cant the Trapper start with all his traps!?"
You a-holes will rush the first survivor you catch to a basement and then lock that thing down like its a government secret then without a hint of irony ask why the Trapper doesn't get more buffs?
You do this to yourselves

Yeah, it's unfortunate but you are right that because basement trapper is impossible to save from that they can't really buff trapper all that much. Like I'd love if they were able to change it so this issue was fixed and they buffed him since he's the main killer I play now that they murdered Mikey.
Skill issue, you went down in the first place to the purest of m1 killers. With pallet density you have no excuse to be losing to trapper, hence why he needs buffs.
If Trapper got buffed in this way there is no way he would cause the basment apocalypse like you are making it out to be. Basement trapper is already pretty easy to deal with if they do not have bloody coils becuase all you have to do is just disarm them. If they have bloody coils that means it has to be a trade and one person will have to die for a 3 man out. do not go near basement, do not do the gens near the basement, slam gens, pray they do not have noed and boom job done. if somehow this were to happen i imagine Boil Over will just skyrocket in use to counter the backpack build.
Yes but the Dev's want to balance the game so everyone has a fair chance to actually play the game. If my team mate gets caught in the basement against a lock downed Trapper and the only solution is 'Welp, to bad for them'. Then that's something they're not gonna encourage
Honestly Im still surprised Trapper and Hag can even place traps anywhere near hooked survivors considering how quite a few Killers have their powers weakened near hooked survivors
Facts, going against m1 killer and going down fast in this game state is on the survivor player.
M1 killers are one of easiest to loop, only two rules at the start when its trapper first dont go to main or shack if you have no idea where BASEMENT is (its usualy trapped strong loops like this because its expected survivors will try to loop you there) and srcond rule is DONT GO to the direction from which trapper came because he usualy se traps there so you chances are bad there.
Same goes for hag and that basement rule goes for more killers, some cant get it so they need to get burned a bit by bad experience to get it finally and then trapper becomes quite weak opponent.
There are more pallets but they are overall much weaker than they used to. I agree chases against Trapper should take a while but if he has basement build and downs someone there is not much you can do other than running across map so he can't make it into basement. I'd say with a coordinated team those saves may be still possible if every Trapper wouldn't run iri coil.
Make Wraps base-kit, it's absurd that Trapper's own power can backfire on him, no other killer suffers from that. Other than that, give him a 30 sec cooldown ability to summon a trap of his choice to his hand, I'd be happy with that.
Bro forgot that bloodlust exists.
If bloodlust on trapper is your rebuttal and reasoning to why trapper should not be buffed, that is a skill issue
someone got lured by a basement trapper
Nope, it's me understanding that a killer who automatically can't lose if they get someone in basement is not great game design and that buffing him would only make it worse.
It's always been the reality that if Trapper started with all his traps he could just carry a survivor to a corner of a map and then place 8 traps near it and then he wouldn't even have to be close to the hook to proxy camp it.
Imagine how boring it would be if everyone knew whoever the Trapper caught first should be left to die on the hook and all they should do is pound out the gens as fast as they can in the hope that the rest of them escape.
