In Sluzzy we trust
-
Kinda wish there was no hatch, just instant gates powered and EGC started when the third survivor is down in the 2v1. Force the game to end sooner and the killer to quickly hook the third and race the fourth to the gate
-
The grind is utterly insane and unsustainable the rate that new characters are added. Removing perk tiers is something that should have happened and was absolutely needed even 5 years ago, but the devs WANT the grind.

I feel like there should just be a toggle in the options in general to have all the characters placed in default cosmetics on your screen.
No chance of this every happening. Seeing others' cosmetics helps them justify their purchase by showing off AND it gives free advertisment at the same time.

Lights out is not meant to be taken seriously/ competitively. It's just a fun deviation from the regular queue. It's ok to have variety
-
If we did that, we would just be demoralized by how many cheaters we're all facing that make the match unwinnable
-
Dog bites neck open to make a little filling bowl of blood then schlop schlop schlop schlop schlop
-
It's a fun, unbalanced version of the game that retains its horror. It's a party mode that I very much appreciate and wish the community didn't drive away in favor of the constant zero-depth instant dopamine 2v8.
-
I love lights out. Easily my favorite among 2v8 and chaos shuffle, which I absolutely despise. Lights out restores the proper horror aesthetic to dbd and gets rid of the annoying overinflated slog of power crept perks and addons. If any modifier would become permanent, I wish it were this one. It wouldn't even affect the queues because it doesn't draw in casuals or the sweats. Just a niche fun version of dbd.

Bro forgot that bloodlust exists.
If bloodlust on trapper is your rebuttal and reasoning to why trapper should not be buffed, that is a skill issue
-
Skill issue, you went down in the first place to the purest of m1 killers. With pallet density you have no excuse to be losing to trapper, hence why he needs buffs.
-
This would be fine as long as they change the conditions for the killer adept

Lights out was supposed to be a pure skilled game mode with no perks, items or add-ons but bhvr decided it's worth to add WoO to survivors and remove skill from survivors, it's easy to loop with WoO.
Lights out is a party mode, intentionally unbalanced. It's a horror simulator. I wish it was available all the time.

I've come to accept that this game will forever be riddled with cheaters. The key to avoiding them is to not play to win. Cheaters will always flood the upper margin of MMR to point of facing them seriously like every 1 in 5 games. Unless you like facing players that constantly wall hack you, get your 8-10 hooks and let 2-4 survivors escape every match.

What catch up mechanics lie on your mind?
Gen repair speed based on hooks and gens completed, like 2v8 but more mindful. The conditions would change or deactivate depending on number gens remaining and survivors left alive.
-
Just make windows basekit while in chase already.

Yeah, no. M1-Killers are just the scapegoat, nothing more. People will not suddenly start to play the weaker Killers if they can play the high Tiers, especially if they are so easy like Ghoul or Jason.
Sprint burst is significantly stronger against no mobility / m1 killers than against the high tiers. That's why sb deserves to be nerfed. Sprint burst does nothing for you with strong killers anyway, the solution is to nerf those killers.
-
Just addressing heal and gen speed here, but you can't just slap more time on those actions. If you play survivor you would know how monotonous it is to just sit there and watch a long bar fill only to be regressed back by pain res. There needs to be some dynamic change in-match to speeds depending on other factors. I really wish they would implement catch up mechanics for both sides
-
For the record, I only ever wanted vigil nerfed. Sprint burst on its own was untouched for like 10 years for a reason. It only became a problem recently, maybe in part to people playing 2v8 wanting the extremely strong escapist class in 1v4 and saw that pairing sb with vigil gave you exactly that.
-
It's an asym. Killers win condition is eliminating all the survivors. Do it however you want.

Escape is an escape. Also no gens are required to escape out the gates. Do you want a third icon of a rat for those that let the team die and are able to open the exit?
Yes
-
Jason breaks the 1v1 hatch and gate scenario in half. There is no "final girl" with this killer and it's probably inflating his killrate. If they fix that he might be in a better spot without gutting any other parts of his kit. Simple ish fix, when at 1 survivor remaining Jason can't see exit gate lights or hear it's opening while in OE, nor can he hear the hatch (can still see it).
-
I ask for better anti cheat and other safeguard implementations that would help combat it, like match replay and server side validations
-
Will this advice break some kind of forum or in game reportable rule? Probably, but don't play to win. 8 hook and let survivors leave. MMR has ruined this games experience and it only gets worse the more you win.
-
Hey, thank God there is actual effort combatting cheats and that's all I can ask for. Balance and content be damned, if there are no hackers, I could never complain again
-
But then who are the survivors supposed to taunt when at absolute safety? Skin sales decrease with lessening levels of bully-dopamine
-
You could totally have the same effect just as a ring instead of blocking the objective. I know that it's intended to blind which makes me hate it more
-
They're all on the same level of awful, along with the poison vials. The design philosophy needs to be shifted. For example, it's hard to find people on either side who doesn't have a blast facing/using the celebrate poster, because both sides benefit from the same effect. Why couldn't all the morsels work like that???
-
Think for yourself
-
I use every perk I don't like facing because they're useful, with the exception of dead hard. I hate that perk and everyone who uses it
-
You are a liar. You got killed on purpose which is why you got penalized. I have NEVER had this accidental "tunneled too fast" situation happen where a false penalty occured, and I have had my enormous share of games where I was tunneled out first. Stop being a rage quitter, or enjoy sitting in your time-out chair where the children belong.
-
Vigil is the issue. Sprint burst on its own is pretty balanced for the most part. I do wish there were more and better perks to inflict exhaustion though
-
It was a neat little jumpscare too the way the notification exploded with the Halloween theme. Yeah, it feels nothing like myers 1.0
-
Being hard of hearing in this game really sucks, but I don't see any of it being fixed. We've been asking for a visual que for skill checks for years.

if you're caught in the open against this killer you're just dead.
Same with bubba or hillbilly but I don't see them at 4.4

What? You and your culture are not entitled to royalties of fictional works based on your culture. Imagine if this logic was applied to all peoples cultures.

Fair enough. They stop trying to dodge too so its a free hit, wall pin or execution
It also works on springtraps axe. Probably a code problem with the projectiles that stick on

Hard disagree. I really don't think killers with special breaks are the ones who need this kind of effect, it's better to lean into what it does right now in boosting killers who just have to deal with pallets.
This goes triple for Scared To Death, that perk just needs a bit of a range increase and it's fine but it definitely isn't an effect special break killers should have.
The way I see, m1 basic-break-only killers aren't going to use this perk anyway. Enduring spirit fury will always be more practical. If you over buff it, it will feel brainless to play against. The only killers that would get any fun synergy out of it are special breakers
-
Oh the horror! Not the survivor's unlimited god mode having a work around!
-
All it needs is to gain tokens on special breaks to be decent. That, scared to death and game afoot are worthless not working on special breaks.
-
I mean when you see how busted unfair the event is killers, can you blame them using tactics that are also unfair? The event is just garbage, be mad at behavior first who clearly did not play test this game mode
-
You can still mori during tier 3 if the survivor is downed on death hook. The healthy grab mori isnt really a core mechanic like springtraps axe grab
-
Counter argument, light born is fine and iron grasp should make you immune to pallet saves
-
I want John redcorn legendary from King of the hill
-
I swear vigil is the problem. That perk needs to be split into multiple perks or just gutted. Unhealthy design that counters way too much and buffs too many already strong perks. A survivor pairing vigil with stb, sprint burst and deliverance or dramaturgy get so much value on top of just so happening to kill every mangled perk and addon, all exposed perks, clown and Freddy completely, it's just busted.
-
The game isn't balanced around stealing hook states from every down. Lightborn is literally fine. Is facing a wall after every down also overpowered??
-
I didn't even know there was a pink ribbon. How do you get it?
-
Honestly, I have not noticed a change in gen speeds in my killer games where I noticed there were multiple copies of that perk in play. Games where I got totally genrushed were full builds with multiple bnps, which would have happened with or without fast track. One less healing perk or vigil I guess
-
Bloodmoon sucks imo. Not the worst event but definitely one of the rare ones that I would rather play the normal queue, and am very thankful that the option is there. Remember when the event WAS the only queue back before game modes?
-
I really wish the first resident evil chapter didn't come out in a such an awkward time in Dbds history. It's a mix of old and modern dbd style/balancing that makes the whole chapter just, bland.
Imagine if Jill leon and nemesis were released today, how much different and flashier the power would have been. Voice lines, maybe a more tailor made map instead of a rip of REmake 2. If only
